You know what I'm just gonna say it. As a member of the aspec community, I claim Sheldon Cooper as a sex-favorable asexual and somewhere on the spectrum from aromantic to demiromantic.

It is not my proudest admission but I am familiar with the entirety of Big Bang Theory up until the final episode, and on the topic of sex, Sheldon Cooper says, and I quote, "I enjoyed that more than I thought I would." Yet even after this major plot point, he does not experience anything that could be understood as sexual attraction.

His marriage with Amy honestly feels like the writers were trying to describe a queerplatonic marriage without actually understanding that such close QP relationships were something that occurred in real life.

Even with how much of a caricature he is, I still see an unintentionally well-written aspec character in Sheldon Cooper
