I've actually criticised Olivia's blatant queerbaiting in a pre S2 post.
I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to stay popular with fans, especially when the alternative is being hounded with abuse by online trolls. The problem however is this desperation to be liked is affecting her character, she doesn't want Alicent to do anything that will put her in a bad light and the writers seem to be just as bad.
Alicent was never going to be as popular as Rhaenyra, just like how Cersei was never going to be as popular as Dany, nervertheless (just like out lioness) she did have a fanbase, people did enjoy her character in fact I was one of them. But that wasn't enough, Olivia and the writers wanted Alicent to be just as loved as Rhaenyra, so 2x08 was them believing if Alicent betrays her faction to become Team Black's biggest cheerleader we'd welcome her with open arms.
Instead it blew up in their face, with Alicent becoming the most hated character on the show. I knew this wouldn't work because no one likes a hypocrite who won't take responsibility for their own actions. Can you imagine Cersei pretending TWot5K had nothing do with her so sells out her whole family (Tommen and Myrcella included) to House Stark, all because Lena got sick of being a villain so wanted to play a "hero"?
So now that the dumpsterfire of a season crashed and burned, along with whatever remained of Alicent's fans, Olivia's trying to backtrack.
I took a good look at your post and it's very right on point. Olivia and Emily definitely don't deserve hate and they definitely don't deserve to be called c*nts in public but Olivia definitely deserves some constructive criticism. I definitely agree that there's nothing wrong with wanting to be popular with fans, I guess my problem is that she was an extreme Rhaenicent supporter and then abandoned it when it didn't suit her. I know she's only trying to save her job but the least she could do is stand by the fans who are still defending her character. And you're entirely correct, her desperation to be liked completely derailed the story. She was responsible for both the BS rhaenicent meetings in s2 because she wanted to fuel the fire that was keeping her popular, and given how much she interacted with Rhaenicents and commented on their posts she pushed Emma and even Harry into a corner. The corner being the frenzy of the Rhaenicents.
And you're completely right that they just couldn't accept the fact that Rhaenyra was going to have more fans and flew too close to the sun about it.
I don't hate Olivia. I just think her choices to this point have been really tacky. Commenting on posts about Rhaenicent 'dungeon sex' pretty much sexualizes Emma when Emma never consented to that. She's being quite silent about the writing choices that were hers, she took credit for th reunions because she still thought it'd make her popular but she's not mentioning that Ali sacrificing Aegon was also sort of her idea now that it blew in her face. And she said she was portraying Alicent to have a desire to 'spit in Rhaenyra's' face in episode 8 despite the fact that she's been on rhaenicents side and was the reason that scene happened. And the obvious backtracking just makes her look like someone who plays both sides. She refuses to stand by her previous decisions and it makes her look bad.

All Roads Lead Home -S.R Fluff-
Tumblr media
Summary: After a year of heartbreak and silence, Dr. Spencer Reid finds himself drunk and lonely at the BAU’s Christmas party. When he accidentally gives his ex-girlfriend’s address to his cab driver, Spencer is unexpectedly reunited with the one person he’s never stopped loving.
A/n: This was made to a request by @maebee33
Warnings:
Mentions of alcohol consumption and intoxication.
Brief discussion of emotional struggles and past breakup.
Themes of vulnerability and emotional reconciliation.
Mild language and romantic tension.
———————————————————————————-
This holiday romance is filled with warmth, introspection, and tender moments, offering a heartfelt story of love and healing.
The BAU’s Christmas party was in full swing, a riot of warmth and laughter that felt like a salve after the difficult year they’d all endured. Festive lights twinkled around the bullpen, and someone—probably Garcia—had gone overboard with tinsel, draping it on everything that wasn’t moving. Mariah Carey’s Christmas anthem blared through the speakers, and the air was thick with the scent of cinnamon, nutmeg, and something suspiciously alcoholic.
For once, Spencer Reid wasn’t a quiet observer nursing a glass of water on the sidelines. No, tonight was different. He was participating.
It had started with one innocuous glass of eggnog. Then, Penelope Garcia had insisted he try her “extra festive” spiked version, and before long, Spencer had consumed enough holiday cheer to loosen his typically rigid demeanor. His cheeks were flushed pink, and his tie hung crooked around his neck as he gestured wildly, recounting a historical anecdote about the origins of mistletoe in Norse mythology.
“I never knew drunk Reid could be so… animated,” Emily said, leaning over to JJ with a smirk.
JJ chuckled. This is a Christmas miracle in itself.”
Morgan clapped Spencer on the back. “You’re a lightweight, kid, but you’re a fun one. Maybe we should get you drunk more often.”
Spencer, oblivious to the teasing, grinned broadly. “You know, the probability of a white Christmas in Washington, D.C., is only 12%—but tonight? Feels like 100%!” He gestured grandly toward the window, even though no snow had fallen.
As the night wore on, the party began to wind down. Most of the team had either headed home or passed out on various couches, but Spencer remained in his spot, humming a slightly off-key rendition of “Silent Night.” His eyelids drooped, and his head bobbed forward every so often, as though gravity were slowly winning the battle.
Emily approached him with a raised eyebrow. “Reid, I think it’s time to call it a night.”
Spencer blinked up at her, his hazel eyes glassy but still bright. “You’re probably right,” he slurred. “I should… probably sleep in my own bed. Statistically better for back health. Did you know that improper sleep alignment—”
“Save it for tomorrow, genius,” she interrupted with a fond smile, helping him to his feet. “Let me get you a cab.”
The cab smelled faintly of pine-scented air freshener and wet pavement. Spencer slumped in the back seat, his head leaning against the window as the world outside blurred into streaks of twinkling Christmas lights.
“Where to, buddy?” the driver asked.
Spencer frowned, his mind foggy from the alcohol. He should have given his apartment address, but instead, his lips formed the words that had been tucked away in his heart for months: your address.
It had been nearly a year since you last saw Spencer Reid.
The breakup had been mutual—or at least, that’s what you told yourself on the nights when the loneliness felt unbearable. Loving Spencer had been easy, but being with him had been complicated. His job took him away more often than it brought him closer, and his walls, carefully constructed and unyielding, had left you feeling like an outsider in your own relationship.
You’d thought time and distance would heal you, but neither had managed to erase the ache he’d left behind.
So, when you heard a knock on your door late on Christmas Eve, you weren’t expecting him.
“Spencer?” you whispered, your heart lurching as you took in the sight before you. He stood on your doorstep, his scarf half-undone, his coat dusted with frost, and his hair a tousled mess. His hazel eyes, slightly unfocused, softened when they landed on you.
“Hi,” he said, his voice barely audible over the hum of the wind. “I think… I made a mistake.”
“You think?” you echoed, crossing your arms. But despite your exasperation, you couldn’t stop yourself from stepping aside to let him in.
Spencer stumbled slightly as he walked past you, and you caught a whiff of something sweet and alcoholic. He collapsed onto your couch, his long legs sprawled out awkwardly.
“I shouldn’t have come here,” he mumbled, his head tilting back against the cushions. “But I couldn’t… I didn’t know where else to go.”
Your heart twisted at the vulnerability in his voice. “Spence,” you said softly, sitting down beside him, “you’re drunk.”
“Very drunk,” he admitted, a ghost of a smile on his lips. “But it doesn’t change the fact that I missed you.”
The air seemed to shift between you, heavy with unspoken words and the ghosts of what once was.
“You can’t just show up like this,” you said, though your voice lacked the conviction you wanted it to have.
“I know,” he murmured, his gaze dropping to his hands. “But it’s Christmas, and I thought… maybe… if I was lucky, you might still care.”
Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes. “Of course I care, Spencer. I never stopped.”
His head snapped up at that, his eyes searching yours for any hint of doubt. “You didn’t?”
You shook your head, reaching out to brush a strand of hair from his forehead. “No. But we can’t fix this in one night.”
“I don’t expect that,” he said quickly. “I just… I needed to see you. To tell you that I still—” He stopped himself, swallowing hard. “That I still think about you. All the time.”
The words hung between you like a fragile ornament, threatening to shatter with the slightest touch.
“Stay,” you said finally, your voice trembling but sure. “We’ll figure this out. Tomorrow.”
Spencer’s shoulders relaxed, and a small, grateful smile spread across his face. “Merry Christmas,” he whispered, his eyes fluttering shut.
The morning brought sunlight streaming through the curtains and the smell of coffee brewing in the kitchen. Spencer woke slowly, his head pounding but his heart strangely light.
He found you in the kitchen, humming softly as you poured coffee into two mugs. You looked up when you heard him, offering a tentative smile.
“Good morning,” you said, sliding a mug toward him.
“Good morning,” he replied, his voice thick with sleep. “About last night…”
“Let’s talk,” you said, cutting him off gently.
And so you did. For hours, you talked about everything—your fears, your regrets, and the love that still lingered, as bright and undeniable as the Christmas lights strung around your living room.
By the time the day turned to evening, the walls between you had begun to crumble. It wasn’t perfect, and it wouldn’t be easy, but as Spencer reached out to hold your hand, you knew one thing for certain:
This Christmas, you were exactly where you were meant to be.

WRITER SARA HESS TALKING ABOUT RHAENYRA AND ALICENT'S RELATIONSHIP IN SEASON 1 AND THEIR MOTHERHOOD FOR VARIETY MAGAZINE.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I can definitely understand that it’s hot watching complex female characters who have agency and who are trying to navigate the world and understand themselves. Like, that is hot,” nonbinary actor D’Arcy says.
“And is very different from, I suppose, more two-dimensional portrayals of female sexuality.”
Cooke adds: “I guess what’s alluring, and quite scintillating, is that they all live in quite close proximity to each other,” noting “House of the Dragon” Season 1’s focus on keeping its characters near the Iron Throne in King’s Landing.
“Stealing these loaded looks with someone that you fancy and that’s forbidden, that’s hot. It’s all hot.”
“We had a lot of conversation at the beginning about, is this a feature or a flaw?” Hess says.
“There’s a lot of births, do we want to see a lot of births? My thinking was, every single childbirth I’ve ever seen on television, in any show, in any genre at any time, has always looked exactly the same: the woman lying on her back with her feet in the stirrups and doing the pushing and the baby comes out.”
“In my experience, women give birth in vastly different ways.”
“I thought we should show them all and they be really, really different, separate experiences and not just, now there’s that birth scene and we all know exactly what it looks like.”
FOLLOWING THE BIRTH SCENE IN EPISODE 6, D'ARCY RECALLS SHOOTING A PARTICULARLY REALISTIC MOMENT OF MOTHERHOOD WHEN RHAENYRA FINALLY GETS TO REST AFTER GIVING BIRTH AND IMMEDIATELY GOING OFF TO SHOW THE BABY TO ALICENT:
“She gets in and [her sons] Jace and Luke have gone and got a dragon’s egg and want her to look at it.”
“And I just remember responding, ‘Wow, that looks perfect,’ but not looking at them at all, I was looking in the other direction.
“And that felt like what a lot of parenting is probably like.”
FOR COOKE, THE MOTHERHOOD MENTALITY HIT IN EPISODE 9, WRITTEN BY HESS AND DIRECTED BY CLARE KILNER:
“That moment in the carriage where Alicent’s hungover son asks her if she loves him, and she says it by smiling and saying, ‘You imbecile.’
“Like, it’s so obvious, this is all for you.”
“Everything that I’ve done.”
“Everything that I’ve sacrificed.”
“All the awful things I’ve done in order to facilitate your ascension is because I love the bones of you.”
BUT MOTHERHOOD IS FAR FROM THE ONLY ASPECT OF A WOMAN'S LIFE THAT FEMALE WRITERS LIKE HESS AND WOMEN DIRECTORS INCLUDING KILNER AND PATEL INFUSED INTO THE STORY, WITH MUCH OF THE SEASON FOCUSING ON YOUNG ALICENT (EMILY CAREY) AND RHAENYRA (MILLY ALCOCK) AND THEIR DEEP BOND AND INTENSE FALLING OUT.
“There’s an element of queerness to it,” Hess says.
“Whether you see it that way or as just the unbelievably passionate friendships that women have with each other at that age.”
“I think understanding that element of it sort of informs the entire rest of their relationship… Even though they’re driven apart by all these societal, systemic elements and pressures and happenings, at the core of it, they knew each other as children, and they loved each other and that doesn’t go away.”
Hess continued: “Olivia has told me she believes — and this is her headcanon — that they at some point kissed or made out or had some kind of physical interaction that Alicent’s mother found out about and forbade.”
“And that was Olivia’s head story, ‘Oh, I can’t do that. That’s not right.’ And that’s the background for her in their relationship going forward. I would be 100% down with that.”
COOKE SAYS SHE AND D'ARCY HAVE “DEFINITELY” TALKED ABOUT ALICENT AND RHAENYRA BEING “EACH OTHER'S FIRST LOVE”:
“But when it comes to our iterations of the characters, too much has happened and too much time has passed to probably even recognize those fledgling feelings.”
“But Condal and Hess weren’t “necessarily interested in ever defining” what that love meant in terms of the women’s sexuality.”
“I happen to be a queer woman, but I know straight women who had ‘Heavenly Creatures’ -esque, romantic friendship with their best friend at that age,” Hess said.
“That’s something that I think, probably — I don’t want to stereotype anybody – but it seems to be more a phenomenon with young women than it is with men, probably because whether you’re queer or not, society cares less if you’re physically intimate with each other or hugging or touching each other.”
“You can have sleepovers and sleep in the same bed and nobody cares.”

An analysis on how the show turned Alicent into an accidental villain (part 1)
I think we are all disappointed with the way Alicent was portrayed this season but I think the issues with her character started in season 1, with the writers inability to give her good motivations, or even settle on what her motivations should be, which doomed her character from the start.
In interviews about season 1, Alicent is described as the medieval equivalent of a "Trump Wife" (which is very dumb in itself, since contrary to a modern conservative woman, Alicent doesn't exactly have much choice but to the accept the patriarchy) but essentially they meant Alicent, contrary to Rhaenyra, supports the patriarchy, the existing system : this is her worldview, she is a traditionalist.
But is this true? The answer is no. Alicent does not support the patriarchy in the show. In fact, she supported Rhaenyra's claim over her own's son right up until she had a personal grievance against Rhaenyra. And once she doesn't have that personal grievance anymore because she forgives Rhaenyra in S1E8, she's back to accepting her as queen.
If the writers wanted Alicent to be a supporter of the patriarchy, then they should have made her support Aegon's claim from his very birth. Which makes perfect sense, Alicent has grown in a world where all she's ever known is male primogeniture and it is still the law everywhere in the realm. Her nonchalance at her son being passed over when being the heir should be his birthright is really weird and was the first sign that the writers are unable to let go of their modern sensibilities and really immerse themselves (and us) in Westeros. They also decided to make the threat posed by Rhaenyra on Alicent's sons lives as a mere lie invented by Otto, when in fact Rhaenyra's claim is so shaky (and becomes shakier when she has bastards) that there's a huge likelihood that she would indeed need to get rid of them in order to ascend the throne in peace and secure the Strong boys's ascenscion to the throne as well.
If they had followed with that, than Alicent would have had solid motivations : the unfairness and humiliation of having her son being depraved of what should have been his birthright, and her legitimate fear for her children's safety.
Instead, since they made Alicent turn on Rhaenyra because of a personal grievance, she ends up looking like this petty, bitter, crazy woman who made everyone's life much more miserable, damaged her sons and put all her family in danger because of a grudge.
And it doesn't help that her grudge is poorly explained and pretty confusing. What exactly is Alicent so angry about ? Is it because, like Emily Carey said, she was in love with Cole? We didn't see that all in the show and Rhaenyra had no way of knowing so it would be insane to be this pissed for that. Is it because she in love with Rhaenyra and basically acting like a crazy ex even though they never were together and she herself is married? Is it because during their confrontation Rhaenyra didn't reveal her affair with Cole and implied she was virgin (though she never actually said)? It would be pretty rich of Alicent to be pissed about that considering she concealed her meetings with Viserys to Rhaenyra for months. Did she assume that because Rhaenyra slept with Cole than it must have been true she had sex with Daemon in a brothel? Is she just that pissed that Rhaenyra had sex out of wedlock ? (it would make sense for her to be disappointed but angry?).
All of these possible reasons make Alicent look frankly irrational and insane.
Then when her anger is finally justified after what happened to Aemond, this is where she decides to forgive Rhaenyra, making her apparent fear of her children's lives she transmitted to them look like a lie she made up to justify her anger and turn her children against Rhaenyra and her kids.
Her final motivation of S1, which is to follow Viserys "last command" doesn't make her look innocent, it makes her look worse. Not just because it's so dumb she actually believed Viserys changed his mind, but because we know for a fact Alicent has had not trouble disregarding Viserys wishes before, even to his face. But now that he is dead she acts like she has no choice? And forces Aegon on a throne he doesn't want, somehow acting as if this is not a declaration of war towards Rhaenyra and Daemon, and still taking a holier than thou, I can have this and peace too attitude.

Dude I usually hate the idea of Alicent and Daemon but you've changed my opinion on them-though I still 10000% believe she is a repressed lesbian.
Anyways, I can't get this idea out of my head.
So an AU of the Alicent and Daemon you have up on your blog. So it went as it did, the two having an affair, Aemond being born and disguised as Viserys' kid BUTTTTT
Say Rhaenyra or someone (rhae fits better thought) found them while they were having hot sex in the library a little while after Aemond is born. Daemon and Alicent have no clue she even knows and in a fit of jealousy, of who? Idk because Rhaenyra highkey wants them both, she tells Viserys.
Viserys' favoritism comes out to play and he questions his brother. Usually, Daemon is a good liar and would be able to fool his brother but he can't keep the smug gleam out of his eyes as he lies to the King. So what does Viserys do? Banish his ass, no surprise.
He keeps rumors from spreading about the true reason Daemon was exiled and made sure not a soul besides himself and Rhaenyra knew about his wife's infidelity. The lovers have heartbreaking goodbye sex, full of tearful love confessions and slow thrusts to somehow prolong the inevitable, and just like that, they don't see one another for 10 years.
Now here we are, Laena's funeral. Alicent has grown into a beautiful woman, something her husband cannot appreciate. She came to the funeral as a courtesy, though she couldn't give two fucks about the woman who married her lover. But when she sees Daemon, she goes full stalker mode, her thighs clenching under her dress at the familiar head of Targaryen white hair she oh so missed.
And Daemon? WOOO WEE-That man hasn't seen her in ten years and my my has she grown even more beautiful (when he last saw her she still looked like emily carey and now she looks like olivia cooke). And yes, he had Laena for release but she was nothing compared to her. Nothing could even slightly compare to Alicent's soft whimpers and tight cunt.
After the funeral, they end up fucking on the beach for hours on end, frenzied snaps of hips and teeth scraping desperately against each other's as they kiss. But of course, all good things come to an end and they reluctantly stop fucking like bunnies when Aemond claims Vhagar and starts riding around.
So Alicent's mom mode kicks in and she's fucking sprinting back, Daemon trailing after her like a lost puppy and when they finally arrive, Alicent immediately ignores everyone and rushes to her boy.
Daemon can't keep the smirk off his face as he looks at Otto, his eyes gleeful as he told him without speaking just how much he recked his daughter. Of course, he's worried for his son but holds himself back, not wanting to anger Viserys in order to snake his way back to the Red Keep to be with his Queen once again.
Now when Alicent snaps, he's feeling a lot of things. Worry, for his Queen and his maimed son. Rage, how dare Rhaenyra's bastard son (I love luke I hate saying this but yk) hurt his boy and his own daughters helped?? And lastly, he's unashamed to say, he's fucking turned on. Yes, his (secret) son is maimed and bleeding and Alicent had just drawn Rhaenyra's blood, though he couldn't give a shit about that, something about seeing the well-kept, proper, and religious Queen Alicent, snap, stirred something in his breeches.
So later that night, he helps comfort his son with Alicent, and obviously, Aemond is smart and knows more than he should and kinda blankly stares at them as they leave together, but he's secretly happy because ayee fatherly affection. And then when Daemon leads Alicent to his temporary chambers in Driftmark, he comforts her and slowly fucks her worries and grief away till the sun rises.
Anyways, my mind ran wild but AHHHHHHHH-
THIS IS AMAZING!!!!! So glad I've found another Daemon x Alicent enjoyer...I don't even know how it came to be for me ooopsie.
This is brilliant; I can't even add anything to it. I'm sure I've got a request for something with Driftmark so I'll add things from you in there.
Alicent was hot when she lost control thank you very much ;) No wonder her hair was all lose ;)

HI! I love your Mara and Natsai posts!!!! I have two questions for you (and I apologize if the first question is answered somewhere on your profile...I am still new at Tumblr and am very bad at finding things LMAO). 1. Do you write Mara x Natty stories?!!! (she asks with her fingers crossed, kicking her feet in anticipation) If yes, where?!! GIMME GIMME GIMME (pretty please). 2. Let's say a live-action show was made from your Tumblr posts of the two of them. Who would you cast as Mara and Natty? :) :) :)
Hello hello! I'm so glad I got around to this ask, sorry for the wait. I've only actually written one Natmara piece, and its pretty old but I still like it enough! I've had my wonderful friend J, @superconductivebean write me some stuff for them as well. Which I am still in awe of. I'm working on more I promise!
I'm sooo not a romantic irl so it takes me some time to get in a headspace to write them, but fear not they are always rotating around in my brain. I'll link the fic below.
As for your second question, honestly I've played around with the idea a little, though its really hard to say! If I were to cast them youngish - like circa 6th year to early aurorship.. then probably Marsai Martin for Natty, and Emily Carey for Mara (she would do my girl so much justice)

(emily carey, twenty-one, ciswoman, she/her) you do not know me but rest assured i know you, MISS ELEANOR WINTHROP. you are the PRINCESS ALEXANDRA’S LADY IN WAITING. you maybe be known for your CARING but it is only a mask for the true nature of your STUBBORN ways. however, i am not here to spread slander on the queen’s jewels, though i suspect you are her RUBY. the ton says your name reminds them of A FRIENDLY SMILE TOWARDS STRANGERS, THE SMELL OF LAVENDER, AND KIND EYES. how scandalous! you have been warned, dear reader, that i will prove if this is true and share every last detail.
eleanor selina winthrop was born on july 5th in london, england as the biological daughter of thayer claremont and an unknown woman. raising a child on her own wasn't exactly on eleanor's mother's mind, so it was no surprise to many when she dropped the infant off at one of her neighbor's houses as soon as she was born. these people would be the only people that eleanor would come to know as her parents, as they decided not to tell her she was adopted, and decided to raise her on her own especially because they were unable to have children of their own.
growing up, the young winthrop child was raised alongside the royal family, simply because her adoptive parents had been servants of the royal family; her father was one of the palace chefs & her mother had been one of the tutors for the youngest nobility of the royal family. due to this, eleanor was always around the royal children of the castle and had come to know them as much more than her parents employers, but also as some of her closest childhood friends.
it wasn't until eleanor and princess alexandra had reached their teen years that she had been asked to join the palace staff herself as the princess's lady in waiting and she was quick to accept the offer, simply because she had absolutely loved spending time with the princess herself, and figured it meant spending even more time with her. not only that, but it also meant spending more time within the castle walls instead of having to go home afterwards, as she would have a place all to herself within the palace.
whenever eleanor isn't busy with her lady in waiting duties, one would usually find the young woman at the palace garden, as she had always been fascinated by flowers; it was something she had shared with her biological mother. although she was deeply unaware of that, because as previously stated, she believed she was the winthrop's biological child since birth.

10, 17, 23 for book asks!
10: This is cheating a bit but Greta and Valdin (Rebecca K. Reilly), because the USA release was new. Fun, authentic queer millennial neuroticism (it was dedicated, in part, to hot autistic people); ride-or-die sibling bond and complicated-but-net-positive family/relationship web. The family feels too good to be true and real enough to want to spend time with. Made me laugh a lot. I think I read it in one weekend or just barely over—“just ONE more chapter before bed” [me when I lie].
17: Starless (Jacqueline Carey). I had read two other books by her and thought they were kind of silly. This one I loved! Vibed a lot with the protagonist’s gender ambivalence, adored the deuteragonist and some supporting cast, and was compelled throughout the story as well. One of those things where I approached the end and didn’t want to be over, even though the length is pretty perfect.
23: Feels like I should disqualify books that are wicked short, though shoutout to the chapbook Dyke (geology) (Sabrina Imbler) that I read in 10-15 minutes in a DC bookstore during Roy’s birthday shopping spree. Keeping it to full-length novels, I just ripped through Some Desperate Glory (Emily Tesh) in two and a half days a couple weeks ago, which felt great to do.

For the OC Ask Game
Blue- How would your OC spend a single day of interrupted peace? Where would they go or who would they be with?
Disco Ball- What was an achievement that your OC felt worthy of celebrating? Was it a personal victory or a big impact on everyone around them?
You can pick any OC for either question!
Thank you for the ask! 😊
As far as the Blue question goes, I'm going with Erien (Enna's cousin, faceclaim: Anne Hathaway)
Tumblr media
She's been trained by Elladan and Elrohir and, as a result, she's a very skilled fighter and athlete. I think a day of uninterrupted (I think that's what the question means? It doesn't make much sense otherwise? 🤔) peace for her would definitely involve training of some kind (definitely sword and bow) and some exploring. She doesn't like sitting idle in one place for too long and I feel like she'll try and drag Enna along before she eventually realizes it's a very bad idea and that Enna can't keep up with her due to health reasons. In a modern setting, she would probably love hiking and skiing so she's quite a sporty person. She probably enters her room by the window and sleeps on trees. But she can also be a perfect lady when the occasion requires it of her. She just likes to act like a commoner every once in while. She does not disdain company, so she'd probably be either with Enna (they grow fond of one another) or with her brother (though I suppose she'd get bored of him after a while). She also likes picking flowers so I think she'd do that as well. if Enna is up to it, they might go on picnics and just soak in some much needed sun.
As far as the Disco Ball question goes, I'm picking Adanel aka Nel. Faceclaim=> Arabella Morton (child) and Emily Carey (adult)
Tumblr media

I think her biggest achievement will be learning how to speak fluent Sindarin and a little bit of Quenya as well. We first meet her in chapter 3 as a child and she's already eager to learn the language before Enna freaks out and sends her away. It won't be easy at first as she has learn how to read and she's probably even dyslexic, but she'll put it in a lot of work and will study hard. I suppose she'll practice with Erien and she'll be fully proficient by the time she reaches her late teens. I suppose Enna will marry her off to some important lord, so her knowledge of Sindarin will come in handy. It major personal victory for her since she was basically illiterate as a child.
I had thought of pairing her up with Urinwë but then I changed my mind and now she's getting married to someone else (possibly someone from Dol Amroth or Lebennin, since Enna has connections there).
That's about it! Thank you again for the ask!

I never cared before about Alys when I've read F&B but the way some of those shippers hate her so much , in Twitter i see alot of them call her ugly hag , gro**mer and so many misgonystic/ ageism names and even hope for her to get cut from the show.. What for ? She is very important to the narrative and especially to Aemond's arc...
Yeah, shippers of other things and antis have been getting weirrrrrrrrrd about Alys. And that's not just a thing specific to her, I've seen some people on my side say weird shit about Helaena (which is fucked up she's the number one girlie y'all are fake fucking Green fans if you're gonna shit on Helaena for no reason), and I'm really not looking forward to anything the Daemon/Rhaenyra shippers are going to have to say once Nettles shows up. Chillest shippers I've seen in this fandom thus far are the Rhaenicents, God bless. And it'd be one thing on its own if I could trust that this was just confined to dislike of a character, but considering the track record people have when it comes to ASOIAF related media (the people who made fun of Emilia Clarke's appearance and her brain injuries and bullied Emily Carey off of social media are never going to see Heaven), I do not trust these people not be utterly vitriolic to whichever actress they ultimately cast as Alys.
People can have their criticisms of the ship, they can point out what they want about the age difference (even though it's not grooming because words have meanings Jesus Christ, not to mention Aemond has significantly more power in the relationship than Alys does) or just not enjoy it, that's all fair and valid. But it's really weird to demand that Alys be cut entirely when she's a unique part of her story and offers a unique perspective that no other character can offer, as well as her place in the stories and arcs not just for Aemond but for Daemon and Larys and honestly even Criston cuz he was at Harrenhal too. Alys can't be replaced with another character, no one occupies the part of the story she's a part of in the way that she does, that's why she as a character exists. Nor is it necessarily "out of character" for Aemond to fall for her or prioritize her once he does, and it's not him "abandoning his family for some chick" as I've seen some people actually say. For one, sorry that Aemond's recorded actions as written down in one book aren't fitting into what you want to happen, but that's on you, not the writing. If, over the course of a single story, a character's canon actions and canon thoughts and canon feelings and canon words feel "out of character" to you, then you simply do not have an accurate read on that character, I'm sorry. For two, it's not even him abandoning his family or being out of character. Nothing about their relationship is out of bounds for the kind of person that Aemond is, and as I mentioned in a prior ask, Aemond is not in a position to help his family. Even beyond the fact that Aemond considers Daemon their biggest threat at the moment and his primary goal was to get rid of him before thinking of any way to depose Rhaenyra, his family's either dead or prisoners to a hostile faction, and any attempt to try and free the ones he knows are alive just aren't feasible at that time (if you think Aemond's going to gamble the lives of his mother and his sister on the off chance that an assault on Rhaenyra might succeed, then you're stupid, no two ways about it). With that backdrop, it makes perfect sense that Aemond is at least going to fight tooth and nail for the one person he does have and does love, that he can save, because he can't do anything for Alicent or Helaena or Aegon who at this point might even be dead, but he can do something to keep Alys safe and well by his side. And even if you want to be incredibly cynical about it, then at this point in time Alys could potentially be carrying a future claimant for the Greens. No one knows where Aegon is, Jaehaera is ineligible for the throne under Westerosi customs and laws, Jaehaerys and Maelor are both dead, and Aemond and Daeron are both actively participating in deadly combat that could (and does) kill them. For pragmatism alone, Aemond wanting to ensure that, if Alys is carrying a son, that this son survives to continue pressing the claims set forth by their side, or Hell even just to make it so Rhaenyra doesn't win, makes sense.
Even if you want to ignore the importance Alys brings to the narrative, what she furthers in Aemond's arc, what his love for her can reveal to us about the kind of character that he is, that still doesn't make anything about the romance or the actions it spurs "out of character" or an indictment on Aemond, nor does it justify being weird and vile about a fictional character or people who enjoy her relationship with another fictional character. Ya fucking freaks.

OC Masterlist
(Will be updated if I come up with more OCs and/or as needed for lore purposes…though no major spoilers for my AUs are included in these blurbs!)
I make edits for them here (just Morgan and Lucy at the moment, mainly Morgan)
[Main OCs]
Tumblr media
Name: Lucy (Skywalker) Kenobi
Fandom: Star Wars
FC: Claudia Jesse
AO3 Link
Tumblr tags = oc: lucy kenobi, lucy kenobi au
Born as the third Skywalker triplet, Lucy is raised by Obi-Wan on Tatooine, and thus, pre-ANH, she's shielded heavily on the Force due to her proximity to Luke Skywalker. Despite Obi-Wan’s misgivings, she befriends Luke and they become like siblings to each other…and thus, in the Rebellion, they always have each other. She also befriends Leia when they briefly meet as children, and Lucy considers Leia her first friend in the Rebellion.
Tumblr media
Name: Morgan Wells (birth/legal name: Jessica "Jesse" Morgan Wells)
Fandom: The Flash
FC: Violett Beane
AO3 Link
Tumblr tags = oc: morgan wells, morgan wells au
Born to Harrison Wells and Tess Morgan, Jesse Morgan Wells is "adopted" by Eobard Thawne after he kills her parents and takes on her father’s identity (which is when she starts going by Morgan), with Tina McGee as her godmother who coparents her (and, arguably, has a bigger role in her upbringing than Eowells does). When she's 15, she's struck by the particle accelerator and gets forcefield powers, and at the urging of her then-boyfriend, James, she becomes Central City's first superhero (and later, after the formation of Team Flash, she joins the team). Later in season 1, she realizes she's aroace, though it takes her some time to come to terms with it.
Tumblr media
Name: Amelia Rose Parker (later: Amelia Parker Octavius)
Fandom: MCU
FC: Millie Bobby Brown
Tumblr tags: oc: amelia parker
Born 5 years after Peter Parker, Amelia is his beloved little sister for many years, kept intentionally in the dark by Peter, and then also by May, Ned, and MJ. Amelia survives the Snap and bounces around in the foster care system for a while before ending up with Otto and Rosalie Octavius, who foster and later adopt her. After the second Snap brings back her aunt and brother, long believed to be dead, they all struggle to readjust…especially after Amelia finds out that Peter is Spider-Man. Reconciliation, for them, comes too late—moments before a spell that erases Peter from everyone’s memory indefinitely.
Tumblr media
Name: Reyna “Rey” Cynthia Ramon
Fandom: The Flash
FC: Nicole Muñoz
Love Interest: Nora West-Allen
Tumblr tags: oc: reyna ramon
The daughter of Cisco Ramon and Cynthia “Charmer” Reynolds, Reyna’s life was anything but normal from the moment she was born, though she was no less loved throughout it. Even after Crisis took the Flash from them and kickstarted rampant anti-meta prejudice, her parents (including her now-stepmother, Kamilla Hwang) were committed to protecting Reyna however they could…which meant training her and giving her Caitlin’s old necklace to wear in case she lost control. Meeting Nora helped, though—only a year younger, Nora was a welcome addition to her life, and the two quickly became inseparable. And of course, neither of them expected to fall in love either 💞
[Side OCs]
Tumblr media
Name: Astra Kadar
Fandom: Star Wars (Lucy Kenobi AU)
FC: Emily Carey
Tumblr tags = oc: astra kadar
A skilled Rebel pilot, and Lucy's second friend in the Rebellion. Astra fosters Lucy’s love for flying and matches her wit easily, much to their mutual delight. Having never known her birth parents, Astra grew up with a guardian who cared more for her usefulness than her emotional wellbeing, and who didn’t truly love her. Thus, Lucy’s kindness is a surprise to Astra, especially when directed at people who, in Astra’s view, haven’t earned it.
Tumblr media
Name: James Bennet-Evans
Fandom: The Flash (Morgan Wells AU)
FC: Xolo Maridueña
Tumblr tags = oc: james bennet evans
Morgan’s boyfriend during s1, and then her close friend after their reunion in s2. James has a big family full of love (two parents, an aunt and two uncles biologically, 5 cousins). He also befriends Wally West during season 2 when they're roommates at CCU, which is how he's brought back into Morgan's life.
Tumblr media
Name: Aminah Hasan
Fandom: The Flash (Morgan Wells AU)
FC: Iman Vellani
Tumblr tags = oc: aminah hasan
Jesse's friend from childhood, who gets roped into the Team Flash stuff after Jesse is kidnapped by Zoom. She later helps form Jesse's superhero team post-s2, after Jesse becomes a speedster (the Flash on E2, Jesse Quick on other Earths). *Aminah hasn’t been introduced in the series yet, but we’ll get there!
Tumblr media
Name: Eleanor “Ella” McGee
Fandom: The Flash (Morgan Wells AU, tho undecided if she’ll ever appear)
FC: Gillian Anderson
Tumblr tags: oc: eleanor mcgee
The younger sister of Tina McGee, Ella was often the golden child in their family, a role she resented. She loved Tina incredibly and stood up for her against their parents numerous times…but after her sister left for America and fell out of touch with her not long after, Ella began to resent her more and more for it. At times, she even believed their parents’ words about Tina being the one to drive the division between them—though she was never more than cordial with her parents, in any case. Years later, she’s made a name for herself as a novelist, under the pseudonym Ella Watson.

☼☾ ( Emily Carey,  20 , she / her, female, bishop no.5 ) - have you seen DELILAH BISHOP?  we’ve heard through the grapevine that they’re CONSCIENTIOUS but also INSECURE. when you think of them , you think of a wallflower, wilting on the sidelines as others take centre stage, the possibly of a diamond being formed under the social pressure placed upon her by her family & a swallow, a bird that is the first to appear at the end of winter and the start of spring.
— ☼ HEADCANON
Born in Worcestershire, England, Delilah grew up in Bishop House. Her father, the viscount, was always distant, rarely conversing with his two youngest daughters. When the former viscountess passed away, the viscount became more distant and the raising of his youngest daughters, more so Delilah, was left to his eldest.
Things within the Bishop household were content for a number of years, quiet even, until the viscount met and fell in love with his new wife who had a scandalous past. It came at the worst time for Delilah. While she had adored her new step mother, her scandalous past meant that Delilah had to delay her debut into London society by a year, in hopes that the scandal would die down.
Now, Delilah is finally in London but the whispers have not stopped. While her sisters have done everything for her, sheltered her even, Delilah feels as though she must marry spectacularly well to silence those who criticise her family, and help her sisters achieve what they desire. A loveless match is not what Delilah intended, but she will do whatever it takes to restore her family name.

Skeleton #30: Praseolite

OPEN
- Charlie Alex Dupont (Biological child of Lucille from her previous marriage, Younger biological sibling to Aisling, Step-Child to Pauline, Assistant dog groomer with her mother's dog grooming company and part-time makeup artist with Dupont Couture) fc suggestion: Emily Carey (must be white, queer and goes by she/they pronouns!)
TW: MENTIONS OF CHILDHOOD TRAUMA AND DOMESTIC ABUSE
Brief description: Charlie was the younger sibling who was always trying to be funny to diffuse a bad situation at home... but it never worked. They constantly heard cries and screams from their mother being beaten by their father, all while their older sister held them in the safety of their shared bedroom. She remembers some of it to a certain extent... but it was all so traumatic that their mind erased a lot of those bad memories. Charlie grew up in fear of their dad, but they always wanted to make him laugh... maybe then the horrific screams of pain that would come from their mother's mouth every time he landed a punch on her would stop. But it didn't.... not until one day they overheard their sister stand up to their wicked and evil father. Things started to change drastically and for the better. Charlie had packed their things with Aisling and left with their mother. They were excited to go to France and see everything there was to see, and she was even more excited to learn that they were going to stay in France indefinitely. No more hearing their mother in agony, no more mornings of waking her up to see if she could even walk or if they needed to call the doctor again... no more of that. It was a fresh start, and Charlie decided to live their life to the fullest. She got a girlfriend not long after their mother met and married Pauline. Charlie adores Pauline and they have also bonded over their love for animals. Charlie splits their time between helping their mom out with her dog grooming business and by being a makeup artist for Dupont Couture. They're extremely talented at doing both and they love the feeling of expressing their creativity freely. Though, she's not a fan of the rest of the Duponts and their staunchly traditional ways, it gives them the ick and makes them want to shake things up by doing more colorful makeovers.

GT-R Kit — Superlite Cars
It says it's a lot of money and it really is but the car itself costs over too many dollars and I know it's over about 7 million dollars right now so it's not much money by comparison but for him it is and there was some kid car makers that would make them there's recent is 5 years ago most of them are kind of beat on but we did track a few quite a few then we know the history and although our son is competent he's not that competent takes a lot of skill and he doesn't have the tools so you need a full garage for the most part you need to have that this kit is very nice. But you can read it and it says you have to find a lot of stuff the chassis the drivetrain the motor and more but boy it looks nice once you get it together it's very very fast it was a few manufacturers but this is one of the nicest. We don't really want him in it the symbolism is not good and the many symbolism is better what this means is that he is in the American vehicle and he's controlling it it is hers. And no Emily blunt didn't bring it up our son didcuz Hera is thinking of opening a new factory in Africa to make new kits and she's working on it. And it's going ahead. This is an option would be something but not for a while but we looked at the car idea we messed it up with JC and Mary for that matter she was usually with him and it fit and there is a vehicle missing right before the Meghan Markle the question is what is it. It was made in the United States with the help of Paul doucette. So he goes up and they look one guy looks familiar it's an African-American it is a guy and it says where's the Burger King at McDonald's or McDonald's and it says oh it's over here with is okay considering your lap and they're like okay but really if he was there they say we'll go eat down here you can bring the car down and they'd be hanging out with him that's how it goes but really it is exciting time because he would go to these things with the car like that and they say that's him and it's like the firebird. They heard about the Lamborghini idea and they had cars dress up in the red coat and there is someone from one of the other groups of warlock with a war type jacket and they're looking at a big chunks of meat and it looks like a Patriots jersey boats New York Giants also symbolic and it's from the Lamborghini idea in the lambo project he says you're now in deck tease into the lambo project and you should report to the director of the CIA your findings and he's smelling it any that he knows what it means and God bless he says. And he becomes war machine and the other guy is smiling and saying I become the guy on Drew Carey show he says no close though the bad guy going after Stark is yeah so that makes sense and all sudden you got mad and it's because he's for the lambo project.
That is amazing people are saying it's amazing as I expect that movie script to be ready by Monday morning on your desk so movie about making a kick cars good Brad and Tommy have to get it done. They're not about to go to the football game and he says I can play in the exhibition game and he's been a linebacker and is getting down in the 4-point stance he says just fall over and you'll be fine you'll be okay and then they said no way we're not going to do that so he's getting and he's going here comes the A train and it starts off that movie in prison and they love it cuz that's what happens and he played Lou ferrigno and that was actually Dave and really there's a lot of beef at these football games and son wants to go to the football games and I think he's a player and people want to signature. So he's going to like just sign his initials and they'll say are you a player and it's like no but they know who I am and they'll say what are you I'm a giant hahaha. So they're laughing and laughing and they'll just have to say they're mad but they'll go try and find a player and on who's this guy I said we didn't know that is we know who that is most will say it and trouble say I don't really know but I've seen it and they'll say good they'll come back and say we were former player and it says I'm doing some kind of try out and say will we see you in the field yeah you know I probably say possibly I got a game coming up next week and they said what the hell cuz really he wants to do it like an exhibition game whoa.

hotd episode 5 thoughts
rip rhea royce, you seemed cool so even though i knew your death was coming i’m a bit sad about it. at least you got to bully daemon before the end.
loved that we got to see larys strong do a bit of scheming and i am quite excited to see where his character will go.
house velaryon and driftmark seem extremely cool, hope we do end up getting a spin-off about them someday.
corlys i am TRYING to stan you but trying to marry off your daughter at 12 and saying your gay son “will grow out of it” is not great behavior.
i do love that rhaenys and corlys are a total power couple who clearly respect and love each other a lot.
i liked the the scene of rhaenyra and laenor walking on the beach and forming their alliance/friendship very much since i’ve always interpreted them as being friends.
i’m glad we got to see some of the relationship between laenor and joffrey before things went south, they seemed really good together and i do wish they had gotten their life of a king consort and his sworn bodyguard.
of the different rumors surrounding rhaenyra and criston cole’s falling-out i have always thought the one where he suggested they run away together and she turned him down made the most sense so i’m glad they went with that one.
i also appreciated that his bitterness towards her is not just “criston’s crush doesn’t like him as much as he likes her” but also his sense of ruined honor.
i Do Not Trust grand maester mellos, something is up with that man. please stop with the leeches i swear to god.
the velaryons entering the wedding was ICONIC, they are legends, they are the moment, i love them.
it was nice seeing seasmoke and meleys but where! is! vhagar!
lyonel strong remains the only person on this show with common sense.
daemon showing up to rhaenyra’s wedding feast despite being in exile was legendary, i expected no less.
also rhaenyra being mean to him when they were dancing and throwing his words back at him was excellent.
alicent entering the feast in her green dress and calling rhaenyra “stepdaughter” was such a power move i literally cannot wait for her villain era.
that wedding was So Fucking Stressful even though i knew going in roughly what was going to happen i was on the edge of my seat.
oh joffrey, if only you were not so good at sussing out who is sleeping together and criston could be normal about his break-up things might have had a much happier ending :(
was hoping we would get more than the few harwin strong crumbs that we did buuuut it seems like he’ll be important in episode 6.
i’m going to miss milly alcock and emily carey but i cannot WAIT to see emma d’arcy and olivia cooke, they are going to absolutely kill it
