Big fan of how you draw Geoff's face. He's so soft
Tumblr media
.Thank you so much!!!!! Honestly I tried to make him a little softer than he is so I could make Jonathan a bit pointier 🩷❤️. Then ofc, I like to think he's a little soft all over, like I get war rationing and all that hoohah, but he's canonically massive for a man in 1919 (like Jonathan too) and I feel like being the big cheese of Priwen gets him a few treats here and there. Whether he gets them legally idk probably not, but still!!!! I mean maybe there's a leech in a bakery at night and leech blood will spoil a lot of food, so the owner won't miss a few cakey type things if Priwen decides to have a little nibble here and there.
.Oh! Also also, I briefly read a thing, before I lost it to the tab god 😞🙏 that said Geoffrey is actually the hero in Vampyr, he's basically the guy who holds the mantel and fights against things he's outmatched by. He's the mortal man taking down immortals because they're straight up murdering people all over the place, and he's not doing it for recognition, like 99% of people think he's some criminal war lord inciting meaningless violence, but he's saving them, even if they despise him for it. It's a nice thing to think over considering Jonathan is desperately trying to do the same thing, even though he has the capability of becoming The Worst but he's practically heralded by those he saves... Kind of..... Some people are just rude lbh.
.Like can you imagine Geoffrey saving Louise in the sewers, or Kimura from that weirdo astrological vampire, can you imagine the flip side of having Geoffrey thanked in the streets for his help? Having people proclaim that Priwen is good? Can you imagine Geoffrey heralded as the saviour of London and his men celebrated for their actions? I mean he'd probably hate it on account of every leech this side of the Thames knowing exactly what he looks like and who he is and it'd be a huge target on his back, but still. ✨️ Geoffry McCullum ✨️.
.Also, in other news, in my brain, I can't help but imagine Mark Stanley when I think of Geoffrey and he's got a bit of a chubby face, like idk if anyone else can see that but ykno, at least I'm not faceclaiming Jensen Ankles like literally everyone does with every single man smh 🙄. Tbh, also in my mind, I call pronounce Geoffrey and J-OH-ffrey as opposed to J-EH-ffrey, and I know that's wrong but 🤷 whatever.

Murder Drones Fanfic - The Problem We Created
The morning light poured in through the sun room windows of the Elliott Manor, the skies orange as a last gift before the rain would come yet again.
James Elliott poured another cup of tea before adding a splash of vodka, the JC Jensen CEO was stressed all the way out, and he didn't know any better way of coping.
His wife, Louisa, entered, posture perfect as she dragged along her adolescent daughter, Tessa.
"Young Lady, you are not having breakfast with those confound robots! You are going to sit with us."
Tessa pulled her wrist away from her mother's grasp and begrudgingly sat at the table next to her father.
James looked over to his daughter and laughed in embarrassment, "Good Morning to the dingo who is the reason why I drinko"
The young girl rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, she had been pulled away from the fluffy fresh strawberry waffles and whipped cream topped cocoa that Serial Designation N had made for her so she could sit with her parents and have tea and scones. She didn't even like tea and scones.
She snapped back, "You're drinking early, aren't you?"
The woman in the fancy hat slapped her daughter across the back of the noggin with her fan before scolding, "That's no way to talk to your father, Tessa James Elliott."
The Australian man piped up, "Now now, Louise, she's a teenager. That rebellious streak will be broken soon enough."
Tessa sighed, she wanted to tell her father to 'shove off' but then what? She'd be locked up on the day she was going to check the robot dump? Not a chance she'd give that up. She sat smaller, pulling herself in, crossing her legs, but sitting still hunched over as a slight rebellion.
An unnamed butler drone walked in, bringing Tessa a closed container before setting it before her and opening it to reveal the heart-shaped waffles she had to leave behind.
Tessa smiled before softly saying to the worker drone butler, "Thank you, and tell N thank you too."
The little lady began to eat her waffles and berries happily.
Louisa piped up, "Tessa, the fact you're already 15 and you still act this way is absolutely repulsive. You are going to start working for the company in 3 years and you've still got your head in the clouds."
James took a long sip of his spiked tea before he remarked with a hint of sarcasm, "Now now, maybe she would be better suited as a drone technician?"
Tessa sat tall now, she excitedly began talking with still some strawberries in her mouth, "I think that's a great idea father, why I fixed the maid who works in the library last week and-"
"YOUNG LADY! NO TALKING WITH FOOD IN YOUR MOUTH!" Tessa's mother snapped angrily.
Tessa shut up and looked down at her food, swallowing hard before apologizing softly, "Yes mother... sorry mother.."
James rolled his eyes and scolded, "Yes you did, but you're an Elliott, we have been running the company for centuries, Tessa. We want you to have a good job, like an accountant or a CFO where you'll be of some importance..."
"AND LEARN HOW TO BEHAVE PROPERLY" Louisa insisted rudely, "And dress properly."
Tessa rolled her eyes, and muttered, "Here we go again..."
"Like really, look at that mop of hair and that horrid dress. I mean really, why are you like this? Did we not raise you better?" Louisa scolded.
Tessa wanted to scream back, "YOU DIDN'T RAISE ME AT ALL, YOUR DRONES RAISED ME"
Tessa wanted to cry and shout, "YOU HELPED ME BUILD J WHEN I WAS 8 SO I WOULDN'T BOTHER YOU WHILE YOU WERE WORKING."
Tessa wanted to explain it all, as her heart was breaking from the hurtful words, but... she wasn't strong enough. "At least tie it up, young lady" Louisa scolded.
"Yes mother... sorry mother..." Tessa weakly folded, looking down before finishing her waffles.
James saw Tessa sitting sadly at the table once she was done eating. He felt a little bad, not a lot bad since him and his wife would chain Tessa up for disobeying and also put her robots in the cellar overnight if she was bad, but he felt some sting of guilt. He sighed as he relinquished, "You're excused, Missy... just... stay out of our way today... please."
Tessa thanked her father with a slight but ingenuine curtsey before heading on her way.
"What was that, are you going soft, James?!" Louisa scoffed before she took a sip of her tea.
The JC Jensen CEO responded numbly, "I am not, I just couldn't stand looking at her sitting all sad. It was a downer. Do you want to go to the gazebo for a smoko?"
The aristocratic woman smiled a little and responded, "And what happens if it rains?"
"Oh, we call the drones to carry our umbrellas while they get all soggy."
The two of them laughed before they headed through the swamp path and to the hill to enjoy the last bits of sun before the rain at the gazebo.
James Elliott lit up his pipe and took a draw of tobacco before he addressed his wife, "What if she would be a good drone technician? We could send her off to space so we wouldn't have to deal with her."
The woman in the fancy sunhat guffawed at the thought, "Our daughter, working on robots on exo-planets? Are you daft? How would we then make sure she's not doing anything we wouldn't approve of?"
She opened her fan and fanned herself as the words she spoke caused her disgust, "What if from lack of contact she started dating one of those drones, then we'd have no grandchildren!"
"Look Louisa... the girl clearly would be good at it, and it would make her realize that she'd rather be behind a desk. It would be too much and she'd come crying home to us and then we could make sure she turns out actually proper."
Mrs. Elliott sighed, her husband was right. She relinquished annoyedly, "Perhaps you are onto something James... Maybe she needs tough love like that to realize she belongs behind a desk."
"The only problem is when she's in charge I just can't see her learning to treat the drones the way they should be treated," James retorted after another puff of his pipe before he was scolded by his wife.
"Wasn't it your idea to help Tessa build that little nanny she has?"
Louisa rolled her eyes as she remembered, pacing angrily while recounting in vitriol, "The one she cut all her hair off to make a 'fancier wig' for. I went out of my way to order a cheap pretend one so she could learn how to braid her own hair and that's the thanks I get? On the eve of the company ball?"
James laughed, "And there you go again, complaining about Tessa's hair. It's fucking hair, Louise, it grows back... and don't you complain when she grows it out too? I mean pick a side woman."
Louisa threw down her fan in anger and snapped at her CEO spouse, "You're too drunk right now for logic, James."
Their bickering was cut short by the sound of Tessa giggling. The two parents loomed at the railing of the gazebo watching what their 'delinquent daughter' was up to.
The young woman had found another drone, this one with sparkling golden eyes and a broken LED glass. She helped the little robot stand back up, she asked lovingly, "What's your name, friend?"
In a monotone voice, the worker drone with a gash in her chest and a break in her screen replied, "I-I am Cyn."
Tessa hugged Cyn lightly and she trilled in a bubbly tone, "Well Cyn, I am Tessa and I'm so excited, we're gonna get you all fixed up!"
Cyn beeped back ,"Fixed U-up?" before she tripped and fell down on her side.
The girl hoisted up Cyn into her arms and carried her new robot friend.
"Yeah, and we'll give you a makeover... it won't be fancy, I'm not allowed to make wigs from scratch anymore, but we'll make you all pretty and good as new!"
She then called out to her partner in crime, "V! DRAW AN OIL BATH AND GET MY TOOLS READY PRETTY PLEASE!"
V, the sweet little maid drone giggled happily, "Oh! Sure thing!" but upon seeing the new worker drone she felt... strange.
"Another dumpster pet to worry about..." Louisa sighed as she sat next to James, "What are we going to do?"
James hugged his wife and responded, "Well, we keep doing what we're doing. We leave our daughter to it until she becomes annoying and then we lock her up until she learns to be good."
Louisa smiled at that answer, kissing her husband as she egotistically chortled, "We are such wonderful parents, we're going to raise a real go-getter!"
The End?

i like it when they let jared and jensen decide stuff for the script bc then you get jared and jensen hcs that are canon because they put them there in the episode. like the thelma and louise joke in 14.04 & the way sam reacted is making me think about how dean presents his suicidal ideation, especially around sam. like sam's said it outloud, "and if we die we die together," but that includes a conditional if. in 14.04 there's a running theme about dean's underlying lack of ability to deal with what michael did to him and how sam's trying to support him and now dean's making a joke about a couple that drives off a cliff together. and i think the possibility that sam is more freaked out about dean's outward suicidal ideation rather than the idea that dean thinks about him committing suicide as them both committing suicide is mildly interesting. and it makes me insane (fond)
