Attracted to this peaceful antique "Thursdays Meditating Buddha” statue from Brian’s special collection. Its origin is Laos ca.1920-40 and was collected approximately 20 years ago. This hand carved figure displays abstract and minimalist features and form in a folk art style of carving classically known as "Laos Style”. Duane responds to a Real side experience where Rebisar was seen sat in the lotus position, but that the demonstration was one of focus and was not suggesting that such is an essential practice for the recognition of the ISSS. For it is the personal self that will think that such an idea, of being seated a certain way is important. But anything we decide to do, how we are seated as we sing the Nu U sound etc, is a choice. Whatever idea you decide, all that we have come to know, has nothing to do with the TruReality LifeIS. Its about seeing the whole of Life, but to see that you have to go through the pieces. If people can't recognise the ISSS, they tend to drift back to what they know and chasing the various ideas created and that are circulating in creation.
