What do you think is the most important in a character design (or redesign)? Visual narrative, visual identity or something else?

I think color is most important, personally

Most artists would probably have better answers but I’m personally more of a “color makes everything” type of person

A good color palette is pleasing to look at and guides the eye to the most important parts of the design. Plus, good color palette makes me wanna eat the art
