Twelve A4 sheets of 100gsm cartridge (sketch) paper, covered in colour and shapes. I didn’t want the day to escape without me painting something... I decided to use only a handful of colours, mix, and paint with only one brush. Limitations and cheap paper. I love doing stuff like this when I’m a bit to tired to commit to a more planned project. I will save these for other purposes, possibly collage. . . I’ve spent the last four days - morning to late evening - learning new video editing software (out of necessity, but that’s a short story for another time) while editing the 63GB footage I already have done for the skies class (that number will probably triple for GBs as I finish filming). My brain is swollen from all this new info and I’m enjoying it. (I do love learning new things.) BUT! I haven’t made art in days, so tonight I’m drawing some marks on this big work on paper that’s still on my easel from earlier last week.
