This time around I snagged Wulfwryn post War of the Ring, looking on Raenor and little Faewryn as she stands watch in her role as captain of the Guard.

The Fellowship would name them friends, honoured for their help and mighty deeds.

If you like LOTRO and like Rangers I am begging you, read Sunflower of Evendim! It’s a fanfic/fanart blog about a young Ranger cadet and it follows the LOTRO epics but makes the stuff that seems unrealistic and all way more streamlined and plausible and the art is incredible and I just love it so much. I would die for Anarlossë and also Lothrandir and despite not being much into shipping I am all in for their relationship in the story (which the author did not originally plan to happen lol)

(Also I became friends with the author after contacting her to see if she’d be cool with me doing fanart and she’s freaking awesome and is working on starting posting chapters again and I am dying for the chapter pertaining to one particular instance that I’ve already made preemptive fanart of and have too many emotions about)

I've decided to change Ethedis' hair a bit, giving her longer slightly curly bangs. I drew her like this once before, honestly I think I should have stuck with it, it's very cute. I thought something was missing with this drawing, turns out it was birds! so I gave her a raven, bluebird, and chickadee. idk if there's any Bird Symbolism™ going on here, I just thought they looked cute

and of course my favorite Ranger Corunir <3 I've decided to draw his pre-Grey Company outfit with more blue tones rather than the typical Ranger green. Mostly because green is already Ethedis' Color™ and also I just think blue suits his personality *shrug*

and of course my special little guy Tossdir. I didn't really add or change anything about his look here, besides remembering to make his cloak look properly worn out. He's perfect just the way he is *gives him a little kiss on the head*

it's funny now that I think about it, I kinda made the trio color coded based on their line specializations lol

on Treebeard Corunir is a blue guard, Tossdir is a red brawler, and Ethedis... uh. well in game she's blue/red, but I think I end up writing her with more emphasis on healing/buffing than her in-game counterpart, so she's more blue/yellow, and that makes green. There! my color-coding of their designs makes sense now!

Art Fight attack of Daerhovan for @loremastering! He gets a lot of love, so I decided to try my hand at him! I really hope I did him justice - the background was super hard because I really do hate drawing flowers, but Daerhovan (and his creator!) deserve them!

During the Morannon, Ethedis' black staff that she's been using throughout the whole story gets shattered (I mean she almost was too but don't worry about that). Thankfully she won't have to go without one for too long! Aragorn ends up gifting her a staff carved from one of the old White Tree's fallen branches, a token of thanks for all her help in the war
