#lotro oc art

I recently (finally) got my iPad fixed, and decided to ease back into drawing with a few sketches of my LOTR Online oc, Morchantir! I just started playing a little bit ago, but I already really like it - Morchantir is a Warden from Mirkwood, and he is already experiencing the horrors.

I don’t know a whole lot about him yet, since I only just started playing, so these concepts are quite subject to change - but I’m already developing him a little! I think he’s appears to be an intimidating person from a distance (tall, brooding, shadowy), but is really just shy and gentle. Will protect those he loves with his life and barrel through any foe that comes in his way - and I think he holds grudges.

I’ve got a few other art projects to work on now (one in particular for a mutual!) and hopefully my iPad and schedule will cooperate, but I just wanted to share this!

Nautiel and her younger self

A unique blend of Nandorin and Noldorin features, Nautiel stands at an average six feet with a strong but lithe build, reminiscent of a tree. From her father she received her pale skin and raven-dark, thick hair, which is often messy with strands hanging slightly in front of her eyes, though, not from lack of care or grooming. From her mother she inherited eyes the color of new, spring leaves; eyes that would later save her life.

This time around I snagged Wulfwryn post War of the Ring, looking on Raenor and little Faewryn as she stands watch in her role as captain of the Guard.

y'know what @hallothere you're right. perhaps he should be a cowboy (and also Meneldir is there). The Arizona Eriador Ranger with the big iron on his hip...

Meneldir is trying SO hard to pull off the "mysterious drifter with no name and no past" bit, but Tossdir's overly-friendly self is making things Difficult

If you like LOTRO and like Rangers I am begging you, read Sunflower of Evendim! It’s a fanfic/fanart blog about a young Ranger cadet and it follows the LOTRO epics but makes the stuff that seems unrealistic and all way more streamlined and plausible and the art is incredible and I just love it so much. I would die for Anarlossë and also Lothrandir and despite not being much into shipping I am all in for their relationship in the story (which the author did not originally plan to happen lol)

(Also I became friends with the author after contacting her to see if she’d be cool with me doing fanart and she’s freaking awesome and is working on starting posting chapters again and I am dying for the chapter pertaining to one particular instance that I’ve already made preemptive fanart of and have too many emotions about)

Art Fight attack of Daerhovan for @loremastering! He gets a lot of love, so I decided to try my hand at him! I really hope I did him justice - the background was super hard because I really do hate drawing flowers, but Daerhovan (and his creator!) deserve them!
