dean winchester owns every single book tolkien has ever written, he rereads the lord of the rings every year, he's seen all six movies (lord of the rings and the hobbit) in theatres on opening night, he can quote several passages and most of tolkien's poetry from memory, and he can speak/write/read sindarin fluently

Lord of the Rings: Return od the King - Dean

Last weekend my best friend came to visit me and since we're both awesome (and hot) we had a Lord of the Rings marathon. I haven't seen the movies in a long time, mostly because I couldn't bring myself to watch them without her, but that's a long story and the important thing is that she's back, The Return of the Queen. See what I did there? Now back to the important part, the movie. Out of all the movies in the trilogy, I think Return of the King is my favorite. It might be my favorite movie ever. I mean, it has hot chicks and hot dudes, fighting, it has the battle of good versus evil, it has hope, it has awesome quotes (Aragorn's speech at the Black Gate is enough to make this movie one of the best movies ever), not to mention BAMF moments like "You and whose army?" "This army." and "I am no man." and the friendship bonds in this movie, especially between Sam and Frodo and Gimli and Legolas. My best friend keeps saying that there is something more than friendship there but I'm not sure I see it. Then again, it did take me twelve years to admit to myself that I’m in love with my (other) best friend, who is now my husband. Anyway, this movie gets a capital A for Awesome and Amazing, it's 1000/10, I loved it every time I saw it. And yes, I cried, of course I cried, give me a break.

Regardless of who you parallel Frodo with he would have handled it better like either the Mark of Cain or the leviathans inside etc bc he dealt with the ring that well like Naomi fucking wishes she could lobotomy that hobbit fruit but he’s too good and powerful
