Look at these sharks I drew for a class that was learning about them. Yes I know a sawfish is a ray but it’s within the family of sharks I believe or within the cartilage fish.

'eclipse's braincells flew out the window as soon as he saw reader in this au and reader's been separated from their pod, so they see a remotely whale-shaped creature and go 'oh my god pls be my friend im so lost and alone' then they meet the boys who r smaller but still Whale Shaped and go 'oh my god u have calfs???? babies????? lil guppies????????' and almost dies on the spot and like. eclipse n sun n moon know they r Not whales. but. reader does not and reader is so so happy to have whales again that the three r like. yup we r totally whales! just a lil pod that got lost! just like u! and then at some point,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, reader finds out/realizes they r not whales. they have been SHORKS this whole time and the reason reader got separated from their pod,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, was bc of SHARKS so they are Upsetti and eclipse is like ;^; pls no go and angst and then eclipse almosts gets HURT and reader comes to RESCUE ok thats all i got rn my brain is baked bean'

lost shark?? hello what is up with those guys pretty please tell me what you know of them

Oh from what i've learned, which wasnt a ton because I drew them the day I even learned they were a thing and there isnt a ton of stuff known about them. They are a species that only 3 specimens have ever been found and those are all like 80 years old or around that and they have not been observed in the wild at all since those were found. They used to be known as the false smalltail shark but because of positioning of fins and things they became their own thing. They are currently critically endangered to be just called possibly extinct but im a little hopeful thing and I wanna think they might still be out there somewhere. Just with a really low amount of surviving sharks since the ocean is massive. Plus they are pretty cute.

Whalemack!

He’s a gray/grey whale, very nice and VERY big (though about half the size of a blue whale). He’s been mostly solitary for a while, sometimes joining other whales on their migrations, but then he starts collecting little mer children that make travel hard. I’ll probably add some scars from boats/etc to this design. And we need to figure out if mers have tattoos 🧐

The tracking for the strings took way too long and i wanted to strangle Shark and Quattro by the end of it, but so happy to have this completed!

Really pleased with how the render looks too! If anyone wants my assets, let me know and I can send them over. They were a bit tough to work with though, mostly due to how i chose to layer them
