it's been more than a year. i've gained so much weight it's unbelievable. i miss the feeling of an empty stomach and i miss so much more the discipline it took to keep it. when did everything go wrong? when did i start to become a failure? i know the answer for that, i've always been a failure.

i wish the conversation around reducing sugar/glucose intake hadn’t been completely overtaken by ED and diet culture in general because I’ve had to go off sugar and reduce carbs as my grandma lost her foot and later died of diabetic complications and my aunt is slowly going blind because of it and I have pcos related IR but talking about it makes me sound like a r/redscarepod user.
