❄️ ⇢ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?

ohh ok this is hard. A dream theme would probably be a good mystery I can't start piecing together or a horror novel that scares me. For mystery I oddly enough think Brandon Sanderson would be good. I've been unable to predict things moving forward in the Stormlight Archives. But honestly I think it would be written best by someone who hasn't even tried before. There's a way of placing clues in a mystery I feel a lot of people follow. Most of the time those clues placed by someone new wouldn't have the same easy to tell hints and tips.

For horror I kind of am expecting Lydia Prime to do it. She's a newer author on the horror scene (actually have a book she just managed to publish I plan to pick up). I also some comedians would be good at it. Comedy is kind of the other side, takes a lot to do it. I don't know who would be best for this outside of like a pro author. I'm pretty hard to scare, make a habit of marathoning horror games and horror movies just because. That does mean I get psyched to read any horror sent my way that might be good!

For a dream plot it's kinda hard to say. I know how my brain works, but honestly even if i'm not super into it I just like seeing people posting/sharing the stuff they put their time into. It's so scary to take that first step so it's really amazing when someone does and they keep going.

Ok so this one is kind of a lot. For some of my stories it's probably some myth, post, or my own daydream mixed from anime/games/books throughout the years.

Specific media would be MTG Streets of New Capenna set (Mafia AU), Fenyx Rising (Delphia rising), FF14 (some fanfics and an au i am working on), Oddly enough a story I have on and off struggled with was inspired by a yugioh series, Godzilla vs Kong (the fight for Rhys and Felix in mafia au). My gods might have been inspired by the old hercules disney movie.

Oh Delphia is a bit inspired by an Kagome in Inuyasha (got me looking into reincarnation). oh and a book series I read forever and ever ago. The Eternal Ones by Kirsten Miller. (I went to my bookshelf to find this title.)

I also do love mythology and folklore so I'm sure that's a big inspiration even if it's not obvious. (obsessed with fairies since I was like born. My sister can't even remember a time i wasn't).

Basically it's everything? I have a few characters I've realized over time fit a meme a little or i put together match someone i loved from a game.

Oh last one I can think of. Alice in Wonderland. I loved that from the disney movie, to the books, to the manga based in it, to the new tim burton movies. Pretty much the only time I haven't liked it was in RWBY 😅

🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project? I feel weird leaving this one out in the open, but like also it's not exactly nsfw. just a little insight into my weird thought process at times

ok so originally it was gonna be the general size of a dick/vagina of the average person to then do the ratio for how big it should be for a giant/how small for a tiny. In searching for this math (cause ofc i only shared it on discord) I realized i had an entire discussion that involved at least a little research where i determined it's incredibly viable that if giants and tinies are under the same homo species it would possible to successfully get pregnant in a multisize couple with the question being the survival rate of the child/birth parent dependent on a number of factors....

I used the dick knowledge in one (1) specific story i wrote on ao3. The pregnancy knowledge was lost until now.

Most likely to get me arrested was how much a person could move after a stab wound

so basically timothy works in the foot shack in season 1 and recently joined the foot clan for funsies, him and casey get partnered up a lot in the ¨we don't know what to do with you¨ group so they are kinda friends!! ( casey wants to punch him sooo badly)

After the whole draxum thing with the dark armor he's stuck in the rubble or something idk when raph saves him

now, he pretty much idolizes raph similar to him and donnie in 2012 ( because if were being honest donnie WOULD NOT take a mentor role in rise) But he's trying to be all chill about it ( he's on his knees begging to become a ninja)

He tries meeting raph on his vigilante nights and eventually gets raph to train him during season 2!! Raph would get him to join simple missions and genuinely enjoy training with Timothy ( this kinda would pre pare him for being leos mentor after the movie)

Raph sees him as kinda like a frankenfoot/younger brother he needs to look out for while Timothy sees raph as his hero, bro wants to be just like him fr fr

Do you think Yuuna couldn’t think of a time? Not because she always saw them but because she rarely saw them? She never avoided them, but she didn’t seek them out either. (Was that their death sentence, she must’ve thought to herself. Did she inadvertently kill them?)

And Rook calling Blot! Reader Petite Star :( did he just call them Star after the reveal cause no Star could be petite if it still lives on after death? Maybe there was a reason, maybe not. Maybe it doesn’t matter either way, they’ll be the small overlooked star that so few take the time to admire to him.

Ace :( oh Ace… he must’ve thought so hard to that winter. When did they die? How could he have missed it? Why didn’t he notice how they were dead? … why can’t he remember what they were like before then…?

AND LEONA AHHHH. BLOWING HIM UP WITH MY MIND!!! Oooh I got SO annoyed when he started biting back. “Do you want an arbitrary?” I so wanted to snap back and be like “would you even know what to say about me before my death?” CAUSE LIKE!!! HOW DARE HE?? I know it’s the emotion he must’ve leaned on to cope with the situation, but that shit? Most definitely would’ve bitten back worse. What leg does he have to stand on over a dead body that will plague his mind for so many nights?

AND ADDING ONTO THAT!! The birthday thing!! I personally have a birthday in the winter, and being able to say “well, it already passed and I didn’t really wanna celebrate my birthday without my family” would’ve been so nice…just the angst potential, that little bit of negativity rising over the “they mean well”.

And lore wise (in game) I saw my winter birthday would’ve happened over the Kidnapping In Scarabia. And the thought that MC wouldn’t have been able to celebrate their birthday cause they literally had to death with a kidnapping, hostage situation, AND an Overblot? UGH so much angst potential.

The understand the basics and they sorta understand the reader died alone. Though the reader had only become someone noticeable after making a deal with the blot and "dying", so its more a realization they've been friends with a dead person the whole time.

Yuuka did think back to that one blizzard where reader returned completely different. She assumed they'd had some sort of internal revelation. As one of the Yuus, they never actually actively avoided her. In fact, they were one of the few that interacted with her on a normal level and couldn't understand why nobody else did. Still, the guilt is def there.

I chose the name Étoile or Petite Étoile because of how brightly he thinks the reader shines, yet how distant they seem no matter what. There'd always been something unreachable he couldn't place.

Ace is an extra hard one dealing with it. He had technically known the reader before the Blot contract though they barely spoke and he tended to forget about them anyway. Finding out someone close to you died and you could've saved them just by reaching out more and bringing them into the group was devastating. Especially because post contract when the reader finally is able to interact with people, they grow close.

Leona is an annoying character and not the most emotionally intelligent in some regards, I'd think. Especially with dealing with grief. He's mad of course. Mad he didn't know the reader before beyond the overblot and couldn't have done anything to help, but especially mad because of the situation now and how he still can't do anything. What's done was done. He's honestly feeling pretty hopeless. And because of that, he snaps out at anything (really needs therapy). Leona's the type to have something bad happen and instead of doing literally anything normal, he acts like an edgy teen, shuts people out, and lashes out.

I was thinking of giving the reader a birthday, but since the reader is well, a reader, I don't want to set and assign personal things. Instead, I hoped that section dug into birthday memories and experiences for them instead.

hi!!! I'm going to try (and probably fail) (update: yes. I failed) to keep the lore brief. also I'm going to have a Veilguard Spoilers Section at the end of the post, so everything before that is spoiler free

Kyana Amell: semi-recently received a lore update where she was possessed by a Hunger demon as a child and saved via a ritual like the one Connor went through (and paying for that ritual probably was a big factor in flushing the remains of the Amell family fortune down the drain). the ritual mostly succeeded, but a piece of Hunger demon essence, not powerful or sentient enough to really take over, remained attached to her and over time created a weird symbiosis with her. during Broken Circle, when trapped in the Fade, she discovers that she can consume spirits to fuel her strength, which does almost kill her but once it doesn't she's just. this half-abomination now. and she eats spirits. which is actually what fuels her "spirit healer" abilities, because post-her weird abomination metamorphosis most spirits will clock her Predator Vibes and just won't go near her. her teeth get really sharp.

Secret Hawke: I love her silly name so much. it started as a joke, as in I wanted a new Hawke and I had a concept but not a name so when posting about her I called her "(my) secret Hawke" and then I went "wait, Secret is kind of a great name". and it fits her really well because she operates entirely through bits and theatrics, because that's what her version of Malcolm did. he gave his daughter a funny name because it was funny, but also because it was guaranteed to draw attention. everyone would remember the funny name. when they went to Chantry services together they would do a bit where Malcolm would approach the revered mother and solemnly announce, "revered mother, I must confess, I have a secret,,," and his daughter would pop out from behind his back and go "it's mee!! :D" and everyone loved that joke. they knew that Malcolm Hawke was a funny guy who gave his daughter a funny name, which was an endearing and acceptable kind of weird, so they never bothered to suspect them of anything deeper. when Secret meets Charade she's DELIGHTED. the trickster name cousins

Neilar Lavellan: world's most selfless guy (<- derogatory). his entire being is basically "clan loyalty Gone Wrong". he was raised to value community above all else, including himself, which served him mostly right as Random Scout #3 who survived by unquestioningly trusting his clanmates and knowing they'd do the same, who could always count on being loved and accepted as long as he was doing his part, but that backfires SO BADLY when he gets elevated to a solo leadership position in a culture that's not familiar to him. he doesn't know how to advocate for himself. he doesn't really know how to exist alone, either. and he figures it out, slowly, over the course of DAI, but it's all too little too late, and he hasn't built up his will enough to save him from possession by the Sorrows. (shoutout to the joined worldstate with @curiouslavellan's Halveri where she - mage, First, Inquisitor, the one with the mark - was meant to drink from the Well, but got incapacitated by an injury before they got there, so Neil did it. because he knew Hal wouldn't want the Well to go to Morrigan, and he doesn't want it either. so he offers himself up instead)

Evelyn Trevelyan: I've been really leaning into her Liar Aspect and enjoying it GREATLY. lying is her primary fear response, and the more scared she is, the wilder the lie gets. I love her specific brand of Defense Lying, which consists of staring the other person right in the eye, making the most insane claim she can think of, and then basically daring them to prove it wrong. and most won't, because who would ever choose to lie about something like that? examples include: her being caught at the Conclave wearing Circle enchanter robes (because her old clothes became unwearable and that's all the rebel mages could scrounge up for her. probably taken from an enchanter who died.) and then just claiming (as a baby-faced 23-year-old) to be an enchanter instead of the un-Harrowed apprentice she is because maybe THAT won't get her killed. other examples include: that one time in the joined worldstate with @curiouslavellan's Aurelia (yes hello Elly, I'm tagging you TWICE) when her freshly un-Tranquil-ed co-Herald ran away from Skyhold and, when questioned, she stared Cassandra in the eye and went "I saw Andraste in my dream tonight. Aurelia ascended to Her side". GOOD LUCK PROVING THAT SHE'S LYING. Solas and Bull are playing chess with their lies. Evelyn is playing chicken

Aqun Adaar: currently having a LOT of fun with his Solasmance worldstate. I wanted to find a canon LI for him for a LONG time and none of the canonically romanceable options were really clicking, then Pillars Of Eternity got me into romancing the unromanceable and several Solasmancer friends got me to care about Solas JUST enough to go "well okay HOLD ON - " and holy heck. The Themes I managed to get out of this. the dichotomy of Guy Who Wants To Fix Everything and Guy Who Will Tear It All Down. Aqun is to the mortal world what Solas is to the world of spirits: endlessly fascinated by its works, its fiercest defender, its chosen champion, believing himself personally responsible for its fate. he's also a scholar, engaging with the world by studying it, and there's just this. really fun dynamic forming when I look at Solas as someone hiding his true nature, but also kind of desperate to be studied, understood, solved like a riddle. which would be REALLY BAD for him if it happened. but he can't find it in himself to stop Aqun from trying

May Cadash: big fan of the duality of brute and mastermind she has going on. she's been a bruiser for well over a decade. she was also going to rule a crime family once (and, depending on the worldstate, she might still do that!). she spent a lot of time training herself out of thinking, but she never quite managed to do it, and despite herself, she observes. and she questions. and she thinks and thinks and thinks. and she can sharpen herself into a blade or blunt herself into a bludgeoning hammer and throw herself at a foe and survive, but she can never stay just that, no matter how much she wants to. because her biggest strength isn't her physical strength, it's her will, and will needs purpose and direction and her mind will always be looking for one. and she finds one, either in the form of reclaiming her place as the head of the Cadash family and trying to steer an empire of evil to do "good", accepting that there will be blood on her hands, or in the form of letting the family business burn and becoming a Seeker. (also pondering the idea of her getting Seeker powers from being touched by Not-Justinia in the Fade either way at the beginning or in Here Lies The Abyss. also pondering a Cullenmance AU for her. many May thoughts, all in the background for now)

Bonus Round: Woe! Veilguard Rewrites Be Upon Ye (spoilers after this point)

Secret Hawke: I was toying with the idea of her being visited by Flemythal multiple times during DA2, extending the weird prophecy moment to Mythal having a weird curiosity towards Secret in general (maybe as a potential vessel? Morrigan DID get away from her, after all), and after learning the Morrigan and Mythal situation in Veilguard I thought, well. Secret "did not hesitate to leap" and stayed behind in the Fade, not as a self-sacrifice but because she was actually convinced she could make it, and... what if she survived the Nightmare, and was left to wander the Fade alone, and eventually something (Mythal) reached out and promised to save her if she agreed to become a vessel. what if it's Secret chilling in the Lighthouse in Veilguard instead of Morrigan. something something, the woman who was trying to hard to become a story swallowed up by mythology that isn't even hers. also she romances Merrill, which is A LOT in this context

Aqun Adaar: one of the biggest plot changes I made to him as a Solasmancer was making him drink from the Well (the other one is that he does IHW instead of COTJ, but that is true for all worldstates, it just works better with his obsession with red lyrium and Fixing Everything, I think. the Well is a Solasmance exclusive), which he SPECIFICALLY does because Solas abruptly breaking things off with him and acting weird and refusing to EXPLAIN nullifies most of the trust Aqun had for him, so when Solas pleads with him not to drink from the Well, Aqun does it because Solas told him not to. which, after the whole thing with Solas absorbing Mythal's essence, binds them forever! yippee! that, alongside with the romance, is why I think Aqun is going to be way more involved in the story of whatever my fanfiction version of Veilguard will end up being. it also gives me some fun ideas to play with in regards to the ending, because Aqun would not hold hands with Solas and walk into the Veil (they've been trying to kill each other for ten years. Varric is FREAKING DEAD.), but also locking Solas away forever feels like a kind of abrupt and not fully satisfying ending to the version of their story that exists in my brain. specifically these two ideas:

remember how slumbering Evanuris could speak through dragons that were bound to them? well, Aqun, congrats on being Solas' dragon. kind of. you probably have dragon blood and you have this magical bond to him so now you're his last point of access to the waking world and can probably talk to him in your dreams. which I know you're not happy about, but hey, when you die this window into the mortal world is going to die with you and then he'll be TRULY alone, so, you know. maybe settle the things you can still settle while you can.

whatever remains of Mythal's will compels Aqun to follow Solas into the Veil at the last second either to hurt both of them as much as possible (this is the vengeful fragment of Mythal that has incomplete memories and thinks Solas betrayed her, or whatever), or for some hidden agenda of hers, I don't even know. the point is that they're now trapped together and I can put them in surreal psychological/existential horror scenarios, and also maybe there's a goal to try to get Aqun out. or maybe not. which would be heartbreaking in his own way, because, remember, he is to the waking world what Solas is to the Fade. him being separated from it forever is cruel. but also, accepting that separation is something Solas wasn't capable of, but Aqun might be. I don't know. I'm still rotating that one in my mind

Seeing each other for the first time

Nina has been known among the proxies since the night when Zalgo controlled her at the age of 15 and helped her find Jeff. Slenderman didn't want to take her with him because he didn't see any benefit to himself since Zalgo had reached out to her first, but he hadn't given the order to kill her yet just because he was curious about what would happen.

Nina was unaware that it was a ritual to summon Zalgo when she practiced one of the love spells she found on the Internet at the age of 13. Zalgo, seeing potential in her because of her obsessive love, followed her for 2 years, did not leave her alone. And since he decided it was the perfect time to take her with him, he took control of her body at the age of 15 and had her kill her own family.

Regaining control while plunging a knife into the heart of her younger brother Chris, Nina then felt so bad that she ran to the woods near her home. Zalgo led Nina through the forest, aiming to convince her that all this was Slenderman's and Jeff's fault and get her to the stage of wanting revenge. There she met Jeff, but Zalgo's plan backfired, as she hugged him and cried instead of hating him as he expected.

Kate had never seen the newcoming stray killer that Slenderman wanted to get rid of face to face before, but she had heard about the descriptions of her appearance and that she was a weird person in general. Since she was already someone who had been drifted away from humanity for a while, she had no reason to meet her, and these rumors didn't help either.

Kate, who was only 16 years old, had been a proxy for two years and had no one because of the fact that Masky and Hoodie were too focused on their own worlds and she didn't like them either. Rouge, Cody and Toby were not yet a proxy. So she was alone with Hoodie and Masky, who didn't even want to talk to her because they were afraid of her, and she wasn't looking for any human relationship.

She had experienced a hellish life until she was 14, but since she became a proxy, she has literally not been a human being. Although she had all the necessary human characteristics, she was not treated as a human, she did not think like a human, she did not feel like a human. That's why she was Slenderman's favorite proxy, since the whole purpose of her living was to fulfill his duties. The fact that she unconditionally accomplished everything he said made the others even more distant from her, but there was no problem for Kate. After all, she was no longer a human being.

It's been a month since Nina started staying in the same cabin with Jeff. Actually, she could have gone back to her old life since Zalgo destroyed the traces of that night, but Nina didn't know about it yet. Since no one else was trying to communicate with her, she thought that Jeff was the only important thing in her life, and she was holding on to him with all her strength. Although Jeff felt sorry for her at first, they started arguing because he was getting overwhelmed by her sticky attitude.

One day, when Jeff was drunk and really hurt Nina's feelings, Nina ran away deep into the forest to calm down. After walking for a while, she realized that she had lost. Moreover, this time, since both sides considered Nina worthless, there was no one to guide her through the forest. Nina was completely lost. She crossed to the foot towards a tree and let the tears flow, which she could no longer hold back. She was crying not only for this moment, but for everything. Most of all, because she was a bad person, and the fact she deserved all this.

Kate was returning from a mission. She was incredibly injured, and if people really cared about her, they wouldn't have let her walk on her own. Actually, Hoodie, with whom she had gone on, had offered to help her, but Kate's snarling with hatred indicated that she had responded negatively to his offer, and Hoodie's fear of Kate had caused him not to insist any further. After all, Kate knew that no one really wanted to deal with a non-human proxy who was at the age of 16.

That's why Kate was staggering through the forest alone, trying to ignore the pain and depth of her wounds. She just needed to get to Jack's cabin. Ann had just arrived, and Kate still didn't trust her. She had many reasons not to trust a zombie. Smiley hadn't started working for Slenderman yet either. So Jack was the only one Kate could go to, and despite her bleeding wounds, she was trying to get there as quickly as possible.

Kate, who was trying to walk, heard a crying sound. It... it was a human cry. She didn't know what she had to do. She kept walking, thinking that she didn't need to do anything because she knew she wasn't a human. But there was something in that crying sound which bothered her. This stranger's voice was filled with more pain and anger than she had ever heard before. Although Kate was not ready to face an enemy, she decided to check the source of the sound.

The person crying was none other than Nina, whose name was mentioned only with hatred and contempt.

Their first real meeting

Kate watched Nina for a while without making a sound. She did not know why she was crying, and frankly she had wondered what made her so sad. Because as far as she heard from others, Nina was a person who was cheerful enough to annoy and never got upset. And obviously, Kate was surprised to encounter a sight that was the opposite of the rumors she had heard.

Just when Kate decided she had watched enough crying and was getting ready to leave, Nina, who heard the sounds Kate was making, shouted in that direction. Kate would never normally have made such a fatal mistake, her injuries had made it difficult to control her body and she hated it. She hated being weak.

When Nina screamed again, Kate knew she had to do something. Her first thought was to quietly leave the environment, but she was not in a good enough condition to do so, and Nina was not an enemy. So, Kate thought it would be enough for her to just say hello and introduce herself.

When she appeared, Nina tried to suppress her sobs and stand up, but she fell to the ground since she sprained her leg. While Kate was only frowning at this situation, Nina was thinking about how useless and incompetent she was, which is why her crying became more intense.

Not knowing what to do, Kate slowly went up to her and held out her hand to her. On her first attempt, she had pulled her hand out regretfully before she even reached the halfway point, but when she saw how upset Nina was, she tried to overcome her hesitation. Kate was sure that she had been disturbed by the sound of her crying, and that she had been so kind as to make her cease her voice. However, in reality, it was just a proof that her humanity had not completely died.

Although Nina wanted to hold her hand, she suddenly saw how badly Kate was injured, and Nina immediatly pulled the hand she was holding out to hold Kate's and took support from the tree. She then stated that she did this because she did not want to hurt her any more, but was grateful for the offer of help.

Then nervously asked if Kate, who she knew was not the enemy, could take her back to Jeff's cabin after someone checked Kate. Nina didn't know where she was supposed to go, but she was sure that the person in front of her knew. She had seen the proxy mark on her wrist from her torn clothing.

Kate only responded with a shrug and started walking slowly. Nina also went after her, hoping that this was a signal for her to follow the proxy. Along the way, although Kate occasionally looked at Nina, Nina didn't mind it. Nina had noticed that she was an observant person, and she even thought it was cute.

After a walk, they arrived at Jack's cabin, where Nina randomly asked Kate questions to distract her own mind from sad topics, and Kate sometimes gave audible answers, while most of them were in body language.

Kate knocked on the door and asked Jack if he could take a look at her wounds. When Jack called her in, Nina was standing in front of the door because she didn't recognize him. But later, when she saw Kate making a movement signaling for her to come inside, she entered the cabin and closed the door.

After first Kate's wounds were taken care of, and then her own leg, Jack insisted they should stay here. He said it was too late even for a proxy and the killer to be roaming the forest, and explained that he had enough places. He also mentioned that Kate wouldn't need to come all that distance for her check-up the next morning.

Nina, who heard the word , only burst into sobs. Killer. That's how people must have see her now. As someone who takes lifes of innocent people for no reason. She knew that her idol was a murderer, but she had convinced herself that his victims were for a purpose. That's why she hated herself while glorifying Jeff in her eyes.

While Jack was trying to calm her down, Kate also bizarrely asked why she was crying. Nina was angry at being asked so clearly, so she yelled and told what had happened to her. She said how she had a wonderful family, but now they're nine floors underground because of her own stupidity. And what a terrible big sister she was.

While Jack was patting her on the back just to calm her down, Kate said it wasn't her fault. She even tried to explain that she was aware of what Zalgo had done, and that Nina was considered lucky to have survived with this much, as Kate was someone who had seen even worse.

Nina, on the other hand, was only more annoyed and asked how she was considered lucky. Her life was completely ruined, she had nowhere or no one to go to. Then Kate told her that the cops weren't after her, that she didn't have to live this life like herself. She sat down next to Nina and controlled herself, even though she wanted to put her hand on Nina's back.

Nina was surprised now. She asked Kate about her own story. Nina wanted her to tell her why Kate was here, why she was a proxy. And Kate just paused.

She said she didn't remember.

She mentioned that she had no memories of before the age of 14. Hearing this, Nina felt an incredible sense of pity for the young proxy standing in front of her. Nina may have had bad memories, but at least she had good ones too. She thought what a terrible thing it was to not know who she was. Not being aware of the existence of anyone who loves her. Not having a real life.

And quite instinctively she took hold of Kate's bony hands, which were like ice.

Kate didn't know what to do. She reflexively withdrew her hand, but she also knew that Nina had not done it for any malicious purpose, and her apology was a proof of this. Then Kate said it was okay for her to hold her hand and placed it back on her own lap. Nina grasped her hands tightly once again.

She told Kate that not having a past did not pose any problems. And Nina even got a little overexcited and said that if she wanted, they could build a future together as friends.

Kate, on the other hand, was literally shocked. While Kate was content with just nodding, Nina excitedly let go of Kate's hands and clapped her owns in the air. This was how their friendship, which was quite meaningful for both, began.

The beginning of their friendship

That night they stayed in the beds that Jack had made for them. Nina was acting incredibly protective of Kate's injuries, and Kate felt that day for the first time in years that she was worthy of being cared for as a person. Of course, this feeling was not long-lasting, but it was enough to create an involuntary smile on her lips. And that was enough for Kate for now.

Nina was constantly jumping from topic to topic while talking, occasionally not neglecting to ask Kate questions about her own thoughts. Nina realized that she was someone who didn't like to talk too much, and she didn't see extra talking as a problem because she knew that Kate was really listening her. 

Kate, on the other hand, was starting to feel more and more comfortable answering Nina's questions. Maybe this could have been due to her slowly creeping sleep, which came under the influence of medications. After saying goodnight, she finished talking. However, realizing that Nina may have thought that Kate was bored with herself, she offered that Nina could come to the proxy cabin for a few hours tomorrow if she wanted.

Nina instantly accepted this with the joy of having found a new friend. Although she was physically hurt while sleeping that night, she was emotionally relieved. A voice inside her was saying that they would both be good for each other.

Kate kept her promise. After the necessary check-up the next day, they set off for the proxy cabin. Nina was upset that Jeff hadn't called her even though she'd been away all night, but she didn't care about it as much as she usually did. Because she was no longer alone, she had a friend.

It was good for them that there was no one in the cabin. Both Kate didn't want to deal with others, and Nina wasn't ready to meet someone else yet. For a while they just hung out doing nothing and just chatted.

Kate then timidly asked Nina if she liked to play video games. Nina mentioned that she sucked at games and explained that's why she only watched other people play. Kate, on the other hand, in an even more shy manner, said that Nina could watch herself if she wanted to.

They played games for hours that day. They did not stop playing until nightfall came. And then Kate offered to take Nina to Jeff's cabin before it got too dark. Nina was actually staying alone in the same cabin with Jeff and Ben. Because they were considered one of the first inhabitants of the forest, and apart from the proxy cabin, other cabins had enough place for maximum 4-5 people.

Kate was very angry when she saw that Jeff was rude to Nina while dropping her off at the cabin, but when she saw that Nina was generally happy, she didn't say anything to avoid upsetting her. Then, when she was going to say goodbye to Nina and leave, Nina stopped her and gave her her number. Nina didn't have anywhere to write, so she asked if it would be a problem if she wrote in Kate's hand, and when Kate said yes, she wrote down her number. Then Nina asked for her own number and registered it.

After saying goodbye, Nina was waving enthusiastically to Kate from inside the cabin. Kate, too, shyly waved to her gently. When Kate turned around, she couldn't help but smiling.

When Kate came to the place where she was staying, she had a strange feeling inside. She wasn't sure what it was, but she liked it. Then, while she picked up her phone to check if there was any important message from Masky and Hoodie, she saw Nina's new message.

"Hiiiii, thx so much for helping me!!!!! Hop i can see ya soon sweetie :3333"

That day, Kate had found a real friend for herself. Maybe it could have been her first friend in her life. And she was glad of it.

Nina had found herself a true friend. Someone who really cared about her and doesn't use her for her own interests. There was a pleasant feeling in her.

Name: Luciane Lynn. Gets called "Luce" by her father.

Identity: Questions her gender occasionally, but never thinks about it enough to come to a firm conclusion, simply continues to idenitify as a woman. Also she's a huge lesbian.

Basic lore: Lynn was around 20 when he got her (Not Mpreg. Y'know what i mean.), but her mother cared for her until Luciane was 3 years old. After that she gave her up to Lynn, only being willing to pay child support.

Her relationship with her father

- Childhood: Luciane was clingy ever since she was little, constantly wanting to be around her father. To the point she pretended to be interested to become a nurse herself so he'd take her to watch check-ups on students. The only way other teachers (She went to SSB ever since kindergarden) got her to listen was to reach out to Lynn so he'd tell her whatever they wanted her to get.

- Pre-teen: She mellowed out with her obsession and clingyness over her father, but still loved to be around him. She mostly went along with whatever teachers said and definitely caused lynn a lot less stress.

-Teenage years: With 13, she distanced herself from her father a little. To the point hugging him felt pretty akward. A whole 180° with her respect for teachers, and general personality. She's loud, outspoken, has extreme opinions and stands by them. She only befriends people she finds a benefit in. BUT, she's pretty enough for people to look past it, so She's in the popular clique. This is around the age she starts questioning her own self more and is actually pretty insecurity. To battle that insecurity, she pretends to have unlimited confidence. It gets especially bad when she's 14-15, since that's around the time where Lynn and Marigold get pretty involved with one another. She only has two specific friends, her girlfriend and another girl. (I'll talk about them more in a later post maybe)

- Young adulthood: Another drastic change! She mellows out towards everyone. She still isn't willing to have more than her original friend group, but isn't actively such a jerk anymore. She pursues a medical degree and wants to become some kind of nurse in the future, she doesn't know exactly what yet, but she has an idea. Her relationship with her father becomes closer again and she finally accepts Marigold into the family.

Summary: The Adventures of Tom Bombadil is a collection of poems set in Middle-earth around the time of Lord of the Rings. Some of them are purported to be written by Frodo or Sam, but many have more mysterious origins, or have clearly been passed down from older times as oral tradition among hobbits.

Why should I check out this canon? If you’re into hobbit lore, poems, exploring the corners of Middle-earth and mysterious things happening in strange places, then definitely have a look. Some of the themes of the poems involve shadows and reflections, trolls, Frodo’s experiences after the War, dragons and their hoards, Elves inviting mortals to go to Valinor, cats, Mewlips and Gorcrows, the Man in the Moon, Tom Bombadil, and much more.

Where can I get this? The Adventures of Tom Bombadil is sold as a book on its own wherever you would normally purchase books. It’s also available in Kindle format from Amazon. It is also available in Tales From the Perilous Realm, which can be borrowed on the Internet Archive.
