✦ you found yourself standing before the vanity mirror, looking at your reflection as you applied a certain shade on your lips to enhance your look. there was no special occasion whatsoever, you only wanted to wear lipstick for the day to feel pretty.

✦ you were alone in the room until lilia popped out of nowhere right behind you, making you flinch in surprise and almost smudging your lipstick. you sighed and placed your lipstick down as you turned around, "you scared me."

✦ lilia gave you a cheeky smile and cupped your cheeks with his hands gently, chuckling as he spoke, "apologies, my dear~" he then noticed the colour of your lips as he hummed, "ooh~ wearing lipstick? you look pretty."

✦ lilia would enjoy these a lot, especially once you've left lipstick stains on the places you've kissed. he finds it adorable that his beloved is affectionate and isn't afraid to let him show off to others ━ though others may find it silly or poignant out of sheer jealousy, it also serves as a reminder to everyone and himself that he is in a loving relationship with you.

✦ seeing as he enjoys this a lot, he would buy you new lipsticks once in a while and hand them to you with a cute smile, hoping you'd shower him with the same affection again.

✦ he may claim that he has no favourite spot for you to kiss and he loves it all, but he especially enjoys when you kiss and leave lipstick stains on his lips and forehead ━ a kiss on the lips indicates your attraction to him and a kiss on the forehead indicates your emotional closeness with him.

✦ he totally shows up in the lounge for the three boys to see and he says things like, "your mother figure left these on me.~"

Chapter 52 Hype Posting

Hi void. I am going to vibrate out of my seat. Oh I'm going feral, absolutely feral. Another WSJ cover and lead colour page next week already! Promotion on TV during prime-time in Japan! The insanely good volume 4 PV! Hokazono-sensei judging for a manga award! Kagurabachi's getting the push to be the Next Big Thing at last- you love to see it.

Kind of.

I want Hokazono-sensei to get all the recognition he deserves, but I also don't want the fandom to explode and become yet another annoying dudebro space. The success of the series is more important though, so I'm happy to see Kagurabachi get so much support. Everyone needs to know about this manga! ANYWAY.

It's Chihiro's turn to have a creepy parasocial admirer now.

Hiruhiko's not doing this just for kicks, however- he deliberately (and successfully) triggered Chihiro to orchestrate his dramatic fall. Given what happened at the end of this chapter, I would not be surprised if Chihiro's literal descent is foreshadowing a metaphorical one of some kind down the line.

And this just breaks my heart:

Triggers Chihiro's rage then fucks off only to do this? I will not be mourning Hiruhiko's death.

Chihiro's not built for being a murder bot and it pains him so much to be seen as equivalent to someone like Hiruhiko. But he was taught to see things through and uses his hatred for the Hishaku to keep going. Revenge is probably the only thing he wakes up every day for- he wasn't kidding about that "fresh hatred" line in chapter 1. And neither was Shiba when he said living like this would break him. This kid needs a hug and a safe place to cry out the pain so badly, man...

More than that, though... more than anything...

HIRUHIKO'S THE FUCKIN' ANTI-HAKURI.

"We're equals", he says. "I killed my family", he mentions. "Let's be friends," he asks as he forces his way into Chihiro's life. "I'm the only one who can understand you." The hell you aren't you rat bastard. Hakuri's the one whose soul resonates with Chihiro's. He's the one Chihiro acknowledged as an equal and a friend. BEGONE, FOUL DEMON.

God damn it. Hokazono, I love you for making my most hated villain archetype into a character I want to see more of. I've never understood why playful psychopaths are so beloved but I get it with this guy. Smooth move making him the evil version of my favourite character in all of fiction, Mr. Author. Now I need Hiruhiko and Hakuri to face off over their ideals about who Chihiro really is. It would be the perfect reprise to the Sojo arc! PLEEEEEEASE. There's so much HakuHiro potential in this setup... Hakuri being the one to pull Chihiro forward again would be amazing. But not for his own goals this time- just to help Chihiro as a true friend and partner. Not gonna get too attached to this since it's just one potential development out of many... I won't let myself... (too late).

(Psst... 昼チ or 昼チヒ will probably be the JP ship tag/name for Hiruhiko/Chihiro. Ain't no way Chihiro is the top in this pair for most Japanese fujin lol.)

The Show

The main character of the play's name is Sasuke and Hokazono-sensei is a huge Naruto fan. So much so that he's taken his own spin on Naruto and Sasuke three times now (Enten, Roku no Meiyaku, Kagurabachi). Chihiro is, in fact, his OC donut steel character inspired by the most annoying emo ninja boy ever. I see you, Hokazono-sensei.

The Battle of Soshima might be a made-up title to reference the real historical event The Battle of Tsushima, which fellow Golden Kamuy fans will recognize. At any rate, there aren't any famous Japanese stage plays with the same name, so there's no direct narrative parallels to draw insight from (sad trombone noises). Fortunately for us Hiruhiko is a yapper like I hoped and tells us the plan pretty plainly anyway:

Hiruhiko says the plan to kill Chihiro's not a bluff. But he's not acting like he's intends to make good on that statement. So that means...

Perception vs Intent

This is gonna be huge I think. Remember what Azami said back in the Sojo arc in ch. 9:

Local violent gang member still pretty tough after becoming human shishkebab through a moving train.

Chihiro could be set up to tarnish his father's legacy.

The public doesn't know the true strength or capabilities of the weapons that won the war- they just know that Rokuhira Kunishige made them and they were the key to winning. So Chihiro dropping in on a stage play to splatter the audience with a headless corpse's blood is not a great first impression. He looks downright villainous in this scene. Awesome, but villainous.

The Hishaku are going to metaphorically "kill" Chihiro somehow. For some reason, tormenting this poor guy is absolutely vital to John's plans... it's probably more along the lines of Chihiro being a useful pawn to move around to create conflict they can exploit, but still. They're going to try to break his spirit this arc for sure. Leave Chihiro alone! He's been through enough!

I've got a hell of a lot to say about this but I need some key details from the next few chapters before going off on lunatic tangents. Fuckin' hell though, this is great. This is exactly the type of development I was hoping we'd see after Samura's chapter. Chihiro's committed to the cause of killing the Hishaku, who so far have been wholly unsympathetic villains. But killing is a wrongful act. And this chapter sets up that Chihiro might not be the sympathetic avenging swordsman we love him as in the eyes of the public- he appears to be more of a menace like some of the members of the Kamunabi accused him of. He might be challenged on his murderous modus operandi via a Hishaku-backed smear campaign. Seriously, using Chihiro's brutality against them to ruin his father's legacy would be so evil and cruel. I love it.

We'll be able to count on Shiba and Hakuri to make sure Chihiro doesn't go off the deep end at least. I wouldn't be surprised if Hiyuki played a pivotal role in helping Chihiro out this arc too, but I don't want to commit when we've hardly seen anything of her so far (my spaghetti sovereign... please come back to the main story full-time soon).

Whether or not I'm right (I'm not, I never am), Chihiro's murder sprees fueled by Fresh Hatred are going to get looked at in a critical way. High time and I am definitely here for it. Tell me what you've got to say about violent revenge motivated by grief, Hokazono-sensei. You have more space to examine the topic now compared to Farewell! Cherry Boy.

Shorter than usual but that's not a bad thing. I can always come back and edit this (came back to do so twice now already) or make another addendum post, but...

So this song has BIG oc associations for me but the much funnier story is that I had my pre-op appointment right after this saga came out and in an attempt to deal with blood drawing I fucking BLARED this song through my headphones and it actually worked and frankly there is no bigger mood rn. If you are looking for an epically long series to get invested in I highly recommend checking this one out. This series and its sister-series are some of the best characterization and worldbuilding for Jedi I have ever had the pleasure of reading and it is a fix-it in all the messy, hard, terrible ways people don’t usually write fix-its.

Year-End Writer's Round-Up: 2023

It’s that time of year, writer friends — time to take stock of what we’ve been up to this year! Words written (published or not, WIPs totally count too!!): 999 496 — ARGH IT WAS SO CLOSE TO A COOL MILLION. I did this calculation on the evening of Dec 31 and I was like DAMMIT I NEED TO WRITE A DRABBLE LMAO. 😂🙈 Honestly, I’m surprised the word count was so high this year — I could have sworn my word count had dropped because I wrote very little for a few weeks after BG3 first came out LMAO!

Smut scenes: 42 — I've done better LOL. I’ll blame the slow-burn BG3 ships I’m working on currently. 😂

New things I tried:

I started dabbling in M/M smut this year, in the context of my beloved Horizon F/M/M polycules (Aloy/Drakka with either Kotallo or Nil). Usually when I write F/M/M threesomes, the focus is on the men pleasing the lucky lady of the group, but I headcanon Drakka in particular as being very unapologetically bi, so it’s only fair and right that he get some sweet M/M action. I’m looking forward to putting this M/M practice use on Halsin/Tav/Astarion when my BG3 writing finally gets to that point! 

This was also the first time that I wrote an AU where I gleefully yeeted the canon deaths LMAO. I’m usually a stickler for adhering to significant plot points including character deaths, but the dastardly and darling @iamcayc nudged me into writing Here Come the Dreams, where Varl and Fashav both get to live, and it was a total delight to keep those darling men alive and happy. 

I wrote a smut scene in first-person POV for the first time, using the adorable voice of Karlach from BG3. This was a particularly interesting challenge because I feel that the first-person voice calls for a more urgent in-the-moment kind of narration, which means that I had to alter my usual way of writing smut in terms of phrasing/wording and pacing, so it was a fun challenge! 

With Astarion/Tav/Halsin, this is my first time writing an OC who falls in love simultaneously with two people, and it’s been… interesting trying to negotiate the polycule coming together. Of course I had to get enamoured with (arguably) the two most emotionally complicated male LIs in BG3 and make my own life difficult, LMAO. I’ve been struggling a little with bringing the relationships together and it’s been slowing my writing down over the past month or two, but I’m trucking on because I love both Halsin and Astarion and I really do believe in the dynamics of the OT3. SILVANUS GUIDE MY HAND AS I FIGURE THIS SHIT OUT.

Fic I spent the most time on: 

Even The Hardiest Desert Blooms! I really sank my focus into my beloved Desert boy this year and wrapped up his fic, which is always a bittersweet feeling when you adore the pairing. 😭

Fic I spent the least time on:

Burning Blue (Karlach/Dammon). I was bitten by a sudden bug of adoration for them, and that piece basically came together in a day and a half because I was on fire to get it out. I LOVE THIS PAIRING SO MUCH. 😭🔥

Favourite thing I wrote: 

Even The Hardiest Desert Blooms has always been my self-indulgent pleasure because I just love Drakka to the moon and back, so focusing a lot of this year on his fic was a treat. But Here Come the Dreams was also an enormously fun project because I just went ham and hyperfocused on it for a month and a half. I really wanted to see if I could finish it in a month just for shits and giggles, but AS ALWAYS it ended up being longer than anticipated so I didn’t meet that goal, but it was still a total ball to come up with a fun little project and finish it as quickly as possible. 

Favourite thing I read: 

Hands-down, without a doubt, What’s A Sex Tape Between Friends?  by @auntie-coagulant. I don’t read much fanfic, and when I do, it's only for the ships that I don't write. So when I saw this fic recommended in the Kotallo server and I was like “Travis/Lis?? You have my attention.” My eyes were popping and I was HOWLING by the first chapter, and I’ve been dead in the water for this fic ever since and procrastinating on finishing the fic because MY EMOTIONS ARE NOT READY FOR THE HEARTBREAK.

Writing goals for next year: 

Finish Coming In Like A Western Wind. I’ve been sleeping on this fic since September because Astarion and Halsin turned my head and I feel really bad about it… but I do mean to finish it! 

Just keep on keeping on with my BG3 fics for Astarion and Halsin! I’ve been DYING to write smut for Halsin for months, and I have images living rent-free in my head of Astarion enjoying some very tender sensate focus, so let’s hope I get around to writing these scenes before I explode.

she's born and raised a bog burglar, her mother is a bog burglar & she doesn't know and doesn't care to know who her bio father is bc no bog burglar does bc ew men. she's as vocal as any bog burglar comes and is not a fan of men. she's quick-witted, dry, passive aggressive, and very empathetic, despite trying to hide it due to a slight worry of judgement from her fellow bog burglars (some do judge, not all). she's all talk and doesn't have much of a bite but her talk will have you so confused she escapes or you'll be on the floor crying.

smth i've mentioned but haven't gone in depth abt is her fear of dragons. it runs deep and is paralyzing, due to witnessing a friend of her's and camicazi's be killed by a hideous zippleback during a dragon raid (bog burglars experienced similar dragon raids like the hooligans). when rumors circulate abt berk amassing a dragon army/training dragons she laughs and finds it to be the most ridiculous notion of all time.

until she meets snotlout and hookfang. hookfang helps her slowly get over her fear, although she nevers gets a dragon herself. she thinks snotlout is pathetic but can be alright (for a boy, of course :)) they're never in a fully commited relationship but when they're around each other they have each other's full attention & when ermintrude realizes she's fallen in love... he fell first, she fell harder. but at her core she can't bring herself to leave her life as a bog burglar and it's why they never marry. but they write to each other. she writes songs for him and he'll write poetry to act as lyrics & she's one of the only ppl he'll do that for.

Hello I bring you THE BOYS for Oc-Tober as I do a little dance to catch up.

A little ramble about both of them under the cut-

01 - Favourite OC - Mórgacht Gorméan.

Looks at the blog title, looks you dead in the eyes.

Mórg is my canon commander, the character who accidentally became my main. He started out as ‘just my D&D bard Majesty but a sylvari’ but little by little he warped into his own guy. Genuine stupidity became ‘a silly front to hide a sharp mind’, all the red in his palette shifted to pink, etc etc.

I play him pretty close to canon events without much diversion- he’s sort of baby (11 by SotO), he’s fluffed his way through being a naive fool in his youth and through his time with the order of whispers and has been largely shaped by experiencing the world through the lens of crisis after loss after crisis. His main diversion from canon/in-game stuff is the presence of his Co-commander and partner, Varro. They share the blame, I guess.

Mórgacht is, though you wouldn’t find it out easily, sort of a fanatic about his own Wyld hunt. He has a little bit of a crisis every time More Dragon-Related things happen, because he doesn’t know if he wants it to be over or to keep going forever.

This sort of meant he turned his back on the grove kind of immediately - fate of the world in his hands and all- and left some sour relationships Dangling as a result. He’s working on them. He Uh. He. He sends wintersday cards. That counts, right?

02 - New OC - Corcrán

My beloved bullfinch, so new I haven’t even managed to draw his hair right yet.

About 2 years older than Mórg, Corcrán was pretty content to laze around and read, hunt, spar, etc. he had basically no grand plans in life past being a very pretty fop, but got dragged into questing and adventuring by Mórg shortly after they met. They had a tumultuous relationship, both trying to convince the other into wanting things at odds with their natures basically constantly.

When Mórg joined up with the order of whispers, Corcrán felt betrayed first, and then really fucking pissy that he’d ‘lost’ this last argument. He started working to scout in and around Nightmare court lands, and eventually undercover within the court itself.

He wasn’t very good at it, got found out but took the opportunity to turn coat because he was hurting, and angry, and heard on the grapevine (ha) that Mórg, the fucker, was making a name for himself away from the grove.

They reconnect in the jungle of Maguuma where it takes a LONG and tense confrontation for Mórgacht to actually believe Corc is trustworthy. A dog is involved in drawing it maybe. Corc aligns himself with the Pact (and far later the crystal bloom), Mórg loudly denounces any trust in him but also Mórg doesn’t really have many other sylvari ‘friends’ and sometimes they make peace, at least for a little while.

It always ends up in some sort of an argument, though- worsened when Mórg realised that Corc respects Varro far more as Commander than he ever will Mórgacht.

Also some FUN TRIVIA I kind of want to give him a tail. He deff has more claw-y hands than morg.

ARGHHH CURSE MY BRAIN FOR FORGETTING SO MANY THINGS (aka even more addition to my answers for the ask game. the ask game is now my reasons for ranting. please be careful of the length of this rant)

How the hell did I forget about Uta my beloved and X Drake my sweetie cop boy. AND KING. AND REIJU. ARJFKFHFKSJ-

• What song makes you think of your favourite character?

For Uta, literally every song on the Film Red album (personally, New Genesis, Backlight, and The World's Continuation really scream Uta to me). The songs really show how Uta progressed in the movie and it's just so fun to hear the tune change from a pop song to rock-style and to rap and then to ballad (that broke my heart). I first knew of Ado this way and boy did she have a really good voice (her growls omg).

On the topic of Ado, there's a really good song (also her debut song) called Usseewa that I think fits Law in the context of him expressing his dissatisfaction and anger towards Doflamingo. The catchphrase of the song is literally a very rude way to say shut up (usseewa), so- yeah.

And riding the bandwagon of "songs I know and ring with a particular character", Luffy with stupid by John Michael Howell (yes, again, I am just dumping songs that have a nice ring to them rn). This song is just my personal headcannon of how Luffy's stupidity mirrors a choice he made (unknowingly?) to preserve the brightness he has and to prevent himself from turning cynical like most of the world. After all, how can you see the good in the world and its people if you're constantly afraid of everything being everything it isn't?

SPOILER ALERT FOR KING'S ORIGINS/BACKSTORY AND X DRAKE'S IDENTITY

Moving on, I just got one for King (my dearest), Just A Man from Epic: The Musical (I have seen the book and it scares me and I have not touched it again since that moment). I know this is a bit turning the lyrics on its head but I feel like it'd fit him in a situation where he sees the Seraphims and he was reminded of his situation. He was a child when he had to witness the extermination of his people. He begins to think about how he's now Kaido's right-hand man and the people he's slain. He doesn't want the Seraphims who look just like his people to witness such violence and get corrupted at such a young age. I feel like deep down, King still wants to go back to a place he called home even when said home might not even be there anymore, but he's too busy trying not to get exposed and sold out to the World Government. The overall melody and lyrics just *slams table* it's just KING-

Back to a lighter mood, bc of a cinematic I saw on Tumblr (and then on Youtube) of Business Man by Tom Cardy with X Drake... yeah. It just sticks so bad I can't even keep a straight face anymore XD (pls watch it. I cannot explain the comedy magnificence in words alone) (cue drake singing i'm a business man with a business plan and apoo and hawkins watching with a look of disbelief)

• What song makes you think of your OC?

I got a collection of them, but some that really stand out to me is Nobody by OneRepublic for Ainsley since he's Samantha's support pillar (he was the first Anomaly (what I call most of my OCs in this universe) that Samantha (albeit unknowingly at the time) created just for that purpose) which is why he's essentially the other half of her heart. He has been, is, will, and would always be with her as an everlasting companion/counterpart. Where Samantha is the more serious, stressed natural leader type, Ainsley is the laidback chaos in flesh type.

And then there's lovely by Billie Eilish and Khalid for Samantha. She's coping with her stress and borderline depression by becoming stoic and hardened (although still easily irritable sometimes (similar to Crocodile tbh)) and when I heard lovely my mind just went "yes that's her song, make her depresso espresso". Add the extra seasoning of something similar to savior complex and just being too responsible for things that she overworks herself (workaholic) because she got them standards.

There's also Royalty because DAYUM this fits her vibe so much. Like she isn't the grand flaunting bright kind of nobility but a "i rule over everything you know but you won't know about it until i tell you" royalty.

Last one for now (because I'm Indonesian and this is played real often in the radio rn), there's an Indonesian song called Gala bunga matahari by Sal Priadi that talks about accepting the passing of a loved one while living on happily as they hoped even though the singer still misses them. It really reminds me of Samantha just reminiscing on the people she they? loved who had already passed. The depresso espresso personality actually comes from Samantha being the first Anomaly created by the (mostly negative) subconcious of the entity right now dubbed as The Primordial One (yes all my Anomaly OCs are self-aware to some extent). The Primordial One of course has origins and that's where the remembering past friends part comes in. Tbh the OC universe is pretty much The Primordial One's subconcious that created a whole new universe and the lore goes deep here as well so I'll cut it right here (might pop up in your askbox with extra bits of lore tho).

The Ink Demonth 2023 - Day 16. Legacy

Day 16. Legacy Crossover: Harry Potter, Hogwart Legacy And then Alice Angel and Pansy Parkinson became BFF and terrorized the rest of the school together. By the way, am I the only one who has always thought that Draco Malfoy is short? Heh, it looks like the Boy Who Lived is no longer Ginny Weasley's best match at school... It's very obvious that I don't like the main trio and I favor Luna? :]

Well, I have only one association with the word "Legacy" recently. But I decided that with the crossover I would rather go towards the original series. That's why both are placed above. By the way, I wonder who came to the Workshop as part of the exchange - and why the Workshop has the rank of a magic school X"D Joey's new business plan? Teaching dark magic? XD

I honestly admit that I really didn't want to make this entry. It could have been ready yesterday - but I really, REALLY didn't want to do it. That's why in the end I didn't colour it completely - only the colours of the hair and houses so that it was clear who was where. Bendy, Bernard and Jack are, of course, in my favourite house: Hufflepuff. Why isn't Sammy in it? Well, apparently his racism outweighed his diligence (or it had something to do with Bendy whispering to the Sorting Hat: "anywhere but not with Sammy"). But don't worry, Sammy already has a plan to fix his separation from his beloved Lord ;)

Why I like them/why I don’t

I am the biggest fucking fan of characters with fucked up family relationships. and characters who are guard dogs. Kaito happens to be both. Off to a great start.

He has daddy issues, that's canon, but he fucking adores haruto. to the point where he sacrifices his health and morality (at least in the sub kinda). And he is very much a guard dog!! hes protective of hart and later his friends to a self-sacrificial degree. This motherfucker. hrm. i love him.

his voice in the english dub is also really fucking hot. there is no fucking way he wasnt a part of my gay awakening back when i thought i was a girl.

What I like about their appearance

Everything. like the man is Hot. that dramatic coat, the d-gazer tattoo... part of me wishes he got more than just a pallet swap with photon transformation but its fine hes still cute. I want to run my hand through his paintbrush hair.

Do I prefer their dub names or original names?

Since theres no legal way to watch the sub and i havent been able to find it on the yar har har websites (i dont even know where to look, really), i grew up on the name kite. However, when i write him, Kaito is his full name, but Kite is a nickname (the same goes for hart! haruto is the full name, hart is the nickname)

I once traded an entire deck for one of his cards. I got this pack of 3 decks and i had a friend that didnt have a deck but got her hands on one of kaito's cards. my favorite one. so i asked "hey do you want one of my decks for that card", she said "yes", and i traded away an elemental HERO deck for Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon.

Favourite moment they were in

Least favourite moment

i know i just said my favorite was the 3v1. but its also my least favorite from a dueling standpoint. Coolness factor its through the roof but like. faker thats not how 3v1s work. you might have the combined life point total but your 3 opponents dont share life points (if they did theyd also have 12000 i believe. i might be wrong dont quote me on this), and also. this is my biggest gripe,

WHY DO WE NOT SEE KAITOS PAINS AFTER THIS. Like he still uses Photon Transformation in the future so why the fuck do we not see him with chronic pain which, by all accounts, he should have!! even if its minor like showing a cane leaning against a wall or a heating pad. I often do dubcon/noncon (especially noncon touching). Drugging, forcing whumpee to hurt others etc. I make sure it doesnt break whumpee too much. I like to draw/write sexualy explicit or straight up nsfw works.

I love your work and would love to contribute with some fic or fanart. I acknowledge that some things I like are not for everyone so I'd like to know your boundaries before I do something. Last thing I'd want is to traumatise my favourite writer or ruin your passion for the characters.

On the other hand. What are stuff you'd like to see?

First can I just say how happy am I to hear that?? You literally made my day!! I just can't believe it can happen!!!✨

Second, what I'm not comfortable with - male whumper/female whumpee (AND vice versa), noncon body modification, social rejection (yeah, sounds weird given that struggling with an ideologically brainwashed society makes a solid part of totalitarian whump) and anything close to bodily waste.

As for noncon (and dubcon), it's literally one of my most beloved whump tropes ever BUT this is SFW only blog so I'd love that but none of it will end up reblogged here. Drugging, breaking the boys (especially class 4 ones) - why not? Broken enemies make for compliant subjects, ready to do their part in the state's progress. (Not to mention they're also really cute to look at).

What I'd like to see? Honestly I don't know what I'd like more, not just because I'm already SO happy to see people wanting to do anything with that little shithole dictatorship of mine🥰 well, usual detention/sentence/designation struggles? with the prettiest whumpee boys? in absolute totalitarian state vibe?

7: What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

There are a few but I think the most prominent change is the fact that I ship her with Kurt. It wasn’t meant to be like that AT ALL in the beginning. They should have been just friends, close enough he would trust her to be part of his plans to strike Rosie and probably the whole NUSA down. A tough woman who balances out all the dudes that hang around with him bc it definitely missed a female touch imo. Out of that the idea of friends with benefits came up because their dynamic seemed kinda fun and interesting to me. And then everything escalated when I wrote the first chapter with them - what actually should have been the third or fourth chapter of that abandoned thing that should have been my main fic. Quote: “I am not a shippy person myself”. Hmm, sure Boro. Suuuuuuure.

14: How does your OC want to be seen by other characters?

She doesn’t really care about strangers' opinion of her but she wants to be seen as someone you can 100% trust, who’s reliable and such things. She always wants to give the image of a strong leader and a tough fighter who doesn’t give a shit and better not be messed with, even though it’s often a huge struggle for her. So it is a relief for her whenever she can drop that mask and be around people she can trust 100% and show off her more gentle side.

2: What's something about your OC that people wouldn't expect just from looking at them?

Just from looking probably that he was a poor af orphan before he “was lucky” to enter the world of the rich. His adoptive mom did everything to make him a proper corpo boy. Not only in looks but in behavior too. Another thing would be how messed up he is inside his head. But if you know him long enough you notice small things that shine through to the surface, even if he appears really collected.

24: What is an alternative life path your OC might have gone down? How different would their life be if they'd made those decisions?

The decision was not in his hands but if he would not have been adopted and left the orphanage he grew up in and when he got into legal age, he probably would have become a merc or try his luck to get into the police. In the merc lifepath he actually could have become a more or less “normal” person. By that I mean it’s very unlikely he would have access to incredibly expensive and experimental cyberware at an early age that led to his mental destruction and made him into the person he is now. If he made it into the police he would have been a corrupt bastard, but sooner or later would have ended up dead in a ditch with no rich father who could resurrect him. So merc Vlad kinda feels more like a happy!AU, the cop!Vlad is just a sad, short story of a nobody.

Rook: okay so you know this meme that's like two youtube comments or smth that say like "he's so miserable he looks like he might trow up."

a piece I'm most proud of from this year has to be Leo watching the snow which you can find here -> (Leo watching the snow)

I had the idea to draw this and immediately got to work, I love watching a snowstorm or even just a light flurry, it's beautiful and I tried to capture it the way I saw it with my favourite boy at the centre. I didn't even realize it kinda fits alongside Fall Leo until a moot pointed it out!

2. some pieces I wish more people had seen- some of my WROC posts, which you can find here -> (Risetober 16, WROC Mikey, Sun in the Apocalypse)

two of these feature my oc Jax, who ends up being a vital part of the resistance. I put a lot of effort into these works that I wish more people saw, and the other is a doodle dump of wroc Mikey, whose design fought me every step of the way.

3. top three pieces would be Warriors Heart by Peanutrat20, the entire Cass apocalypse series that I binge read in a day, and the commision Shardknight did for me -> (Warriors Heart by peanutrat20, Cass Apoc. Series by somerandomedudelmao, Jax and Leo by shardknight)

Warriors Heart I'm super excited about cuz I know all the secrets and I've read all of my beloved moots pre-story stuff, and I can't wait for the full story to come together!

Cass Apocalypse Series along with a few others really inspired me to start a comic for my own apocalypse series, I'm still figuring things out as I go but I love to look back at their work, their style, everything. It's incredibly inspiring, their characters are wonderful.

WROC Jax and Leo I commissioned, and Soph delivered. They're adorable, and I love looking back at it. Their art means everything to me, its so squishy, and to see my sillies in it had me kicking my feet in excitement lmao.
