Land of Longhorns ~~~ Searching for Water.

29/06/2024-Purple Hairstreak and Purple Emperor butterflies, White Stork, views, cinquefoil, Tamworth piglet, some of my centaury of the year, Longhorn cattle and my first Turtle Dove of the year on an amazing day at Knepp today.

Swallow, Linnet, Jackdaw, Chiffchaff, Whitethroat, female Blackcap seen well, Marbled White, Meadow Brown, Large Skipper, Small Skipper, Comma, Speckled Wood, my first Southern Hawker of the year, Banded Demoiselle, Fallow Deers, hornet, my first crosswort, marsh woundwort and melilot of the year, speedwell, St. John's-wort, oxtongue, white clover, dock and poppy were other highlights. A smashing day doing this annual trip for us I adore seeing sensational wildlife and views. My bird year list is up to 199 and butterflies 33.
