#this is what I think anyways#my art#dc#dc comics#clark kent#superman#bruce wayne#batman#wonder woman#diana of themiscyra#diana prince#dc trinity#you could honestly argue that any of these apply to all of them but#I think they most strongly apply to these pairings#like Bruce is also pretty lonely but Diana and Clark’s detachment from their homes specifically#is a consistent weakness for them#kryptonite literally being the shattered remains of Clark’s world and any threats or changes to themyscira being what always gets#an emotional reaction out of Diana in fights… they both have homes they’re unable to return to#and Diana is also pretty bad at opening up to people but only because she isn’t aware she has any problems to begin with#Bruce and Clark at least somewhat know when they have an issue. and then tell nobody anyways#Diana and Bruce ohh their parallels make me crazy#their incredible devotion to being a protector that they get so absorbed in they can’t see themselves as anything outside of it?? crazy#I think Clark and Diana also have a shared complicated relationship to their public idolization but I couldn’t#fit that into a concise sentence#I care for them so deeply. None of them are well#sorry for changing the text on this three times

#gravity falls#stanford pines#relativity falls#companion piece to stan's water mindscape#i sketchd out a buncha library n museum ideas but then i got hit w the 'he loves the stars'#it's fun bc i put him on the top left and that's where the overwhelming fish is for stan#and stan's on the bttom right where the stars begin to fall off into darkness for ford#but also being above water vs being beneath it yada yada#nyway when u stick em together it'd be a diptych n itd be titled wherever we go we go together#pair this w ludovico's fly pls n ty#took some cues from what we see in the show except replace the field w water... bc the water is just so important to these kids#just this great expanse and endless horizon doused in stars furnished here and there with what's important to him#but ultimately very very lonely

This is as good a moment as any to confess I ship them
Kashi was thrown into the lake and swallowed by Angie. Inside, he found Asa, who had been trapped there losing her mind for a while! Kashi was in no hurry to leave (a break is a break) but he ended up asking Angie to let them out for Asa's sake. Feeling like she owes him, Asa decided to follow him. He wasn't expecting that, but took it in stride! And now they can be a comedic duo

#UTDR#UTMV#Killer Sans#Saw this tweet and it reminded me of my hc for Killer#Which is that he hates being on his own for too long#He's fine amusing himself for a little while and even a bit longer with the cats as a distraction#But if he woke up in the castle and nobody else was there#It wouldn't take very long before he started getting worked up and destructive#This is part of why Nightmare got Dust#Not only because he and Killer were now outnumbered as the Stars had come together#But because any time he was gone for too long he would come back to find Killer had gone a little bit feral in the castle#And since they were so similar in circumstance he thought Dust would be a good match#Both in fighting ability and in keeping Killer company#And he was so right! They got on like a house on fire and nothing ever went wrong credits roll#(Just kidding he would be dealing with the aftermath of this decision for months)#Anyway be sure to get your henchmen in pairs so they don't get lonely

None of the Disco Elysium female characters are friends, or even supportive of each other much really, and that saddens me quite a bit, really.
#these women are so lonely#a lot of the male characters either come in pair#or are part of a larger group#but I cant think or remember two female characters that show support of each other#they just keep stabbing each other in the back or antagonize each other#i dont want to go all bechdel test here but#but this is still something i am quite critical of about DE#disco elysium
