At lunch today I wandered to the park. Took a few moments with my McDonalds (werid, haven't had one in over a year!) before ravens descended. I ended up feeding them both buns off my cheeseburger and half the wrap of my wrap. I nodded at each one in turn when I was throwing the bun to that specific bird and much like a dog to a ball that specific raven would fly up to catch it. They were quite polite to each other, letting each one get it's turn. Had a fucking great time. Oh and two pigeons sat on the bench next to me eating from my hand which proffered parts of ketchuppy bread towards them.

I'm delighted to announce that this illustration has been shortlisted for the Poster Prize for Illustration 2019, a competition organised by The AOI and London Transport Museum.

The theme is 'London Stories' and my illustration is inspired by a story about Jimi Hendrix. It is rumoured that all ring-necked parakeets living in London originate from a pair he released in Carnaby Street in the 1960s.

The artwork will feature in an exhibition at the London Transport Museum, which runs from 8 February until 14 July 2019.

Story Time: This is Hodei a Surfer from Spain🏄‍♂️🇪🇸 He has been doing Surfing since 2 years old and he actually started his surfing in Puerto del Son, Spain and moved to Zarautz, Spain [Do you know this is the first village in Europe where surfing started when surfing was a new thing to the world] since then he has been doing it until now. Now, he has moved to London just a month ago to improve his English and to improve himself and be with his girlfriend. For the subject we were inspired by the amazing artworks and fashion styles from the 70s. We wanted to celebrate and remind this era. And especially the time at the Carnaby St. before it was all owned by the big commercial stores. Stores like Granny takes a trip were the center of that new vibrant style. Long before street art became famous worldwide, the Carnaby St. of the 60s/70s was already covered in colorful walls and amazing store fronts.
