Samstage waren früher die Bummel- und Shoppingtage. Man hat sich etwas besser angezogen und ist in die Stadt gegangen. Die Geschäfte haben schon um 13 Uhr geschlossen, außer es war langer Samstag. Dann hatten sie bis 18 Uhr geöffnet. Das war einmal im Monat. Wisst ihr noch, welche Samstage lang waren? Saturdays used to be the days of strolling and shopping. People dressed a little better and went into town. Shops closed at 1pm, unless it was a long Saturday. Then they were open until 6 p.m. That was once a month.
