KRAMPUS (2015)
😾Dog dies
Worth watching for the creatures and costumes, horrifying and gross little minions creeping about the second half of the film made it a stop on any horror fans list. Overall the film was pretty good, the story was okay but the acting was admirable. Horror films certainly have a knack for switching things totally in the last five seconds of the film though. If they had cut it off just 5 seconds before the end, it would have been a much better romp.
⭐⭐⭐
Notable characters like Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, and Alison Holman are shoved into a beautiful house to have a holiday nightmare. The adorable kid doesn't want to send a letter to Santa this year so lets fuck him and his family up I guess, I don't fucking know. Slow build to an orgy of cryptid characters and toys getting their various viscous fluids all over the scene and the family.
They threw a shitty twist in the end where, even though the kid apologized and sacrificed himself for his family, they were stuck in purgatory having the "best Christmas ever" in a snow globe in Hoarder Krampus' basement. Krampus would have been 10 times more terrifying if he had not come down with a serious case of slack jaw.
But 10/10 would party with those elves.

Panic! in Four Minutes — VoicePlay music videos
All singers are performers, but VoicePlay have definitely earned their moniker as the theater kids of the a cappella world. When they decided to create a medley of PatD songs, they wanted their own accompanying videos to have a bit of the same short-film aesthetic as the band's original videos. What ensued was a mid-summer location shoot, a kidnapping scenario straight out of a heist film, and even a dramatic cliffhanger.
youtube
Details:
title: Panic! in Four Minutes, part 1
original songs / performers: all songs by Panic! At the Disco — "Victorious"; "I Write Sins Not Tragedies"; "Emperor's New Clothes"; "Miss Jackson", feat. Lolo; "The Ballad of Mona Lisa"
written by: all songs by Brendon Urie in collaboration — "Victorious" with Mike Viola, Morgan "White Sea" Kibby, Jake Sinclair, Alexander DeLeon, Rivers Cuomo, & CJ Baran; "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" with Ryan Ross & Spencer Smith; "Emperor's New Clothes" with Jake Sinclair, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Sam Hollander, & Dan Wilson; "Miss Jackson" with Dallon Weekes, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Jake Sinclair, Amir Jerome Salem, & Alex Goose; "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" with Spencer Smith, Butch Walker, & John Feldmann
arranged by: Layne Stein & Earl Elkins, Jr.
release date: 13 July 2018
My favorite bits:
the rhythm section's crisp beginning
that incredible chord from the end of the "Victorious" intro section doubling as a frightened scream
Earl's focused tone on that falling chromatic line
everyone slumping in their seats during the first transition
Eli's defiant rock grit on "Emperor's New Clothes"
slipping that key change into ♫ "anywa-ay-ay" ♫
adding chair and chain sounds to Layne's already impressive percussion (and using the latter as a radio edit)
J.None's lovely falling run on ♫ "rationality" ♫
such beautiful harmonies on "Ballad of Mona Lisa"
Geoff's subharmonic drop on ♫ "believe" ♫
.

Details:
title: Panic! in Four Minutes, part 2
original songs / performers: all songs by Panic! At the Disco — "This Is Gospel"; "High Hopes"; "Say Amen (Saturday Night)"
written by: all songs by Brendon Urie in collaboration — "This Is Gospel" with Dallon Weekes & Jake Sinclair; "High Hopes" with Jake Sinclair, Jenny Owen Youngs, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Sam Hollander, William Lobban-Bean, Jonas Jeberg, Taylor Parks, & Ilsey Juber; "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" with Jake Sinclair, Sam Hollander, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Imad Royal, Nathan Abshire, Suzy Shinn, Tom Peyton, Tobias Wincorn, & The Budos Band
arranged by: Layne Stein & Earl Elkins, Jr.
release date: 20 July 2018
My favorite bits:
the panicked (ha!) heartbeat sounds
Layne's gentle timbre on the opening of "This Is Gospel"
everyone jerking against their chains as Earl belts out ♫ "let me GOOO" ♫
the soft bell chords under Eli's lead section
Geoff rounding out the low end as Eli sings ♫ "all tied up" ♫
Layne putting his increasing frustration into the percussion through rhythmic breathing
Earl mouthing "What the fu–?!" when Geoff haphazardly tosses the key so far out of his reach
that blazingly high ♫ "SaturDAAAAY" ♫ from J.None
all the others cringing away from the bomb as much as they can when the timer nears the end and Geoff takes a wild guess at which wire to cut
finishing on pure octaves for that last ♫ "vic-tor-i-ous" ♫
Trivia:
These videos were filmed at an abandoned sawmill previously owned by the Wilson Cypress Co. in Palatka, FL. According to the guys' various anecdotes, the place didn't smell great, and there were some wasps flying around. The things they endure for their art.
The original PaTD videos for three of the songs included in this medley — "Say Amen", "This Is Gospel", and "Emperor's New Clothes" — contain a continuous story known as the Devil's Key trilogy. It stands to reason that the key around Geoff's neck is a reference to that.
One eagle-eyed viewer spotted another bit of PatD inspiration in the visuals for these videos.
J.None has said that the B5 wail in "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" is the highest note he's ever hit. Considering that he's a natural baritone, and now sings bass with the SeaChanters, that's darn impressive.
Similarly, Geoff's E1 at the end of "Ballad of Mona Lisa" was his lowest recorded note at the time. (He has, of course, surpassed that by half an octave in the years since then.)
Makeup artist Dana Bracewell from Makeup and Creative Arts provided the fake dirt and injuries. (No singers were actually harmed in the making of this video.)
The cover art was designed by VP's longtime friend and collaborator Rek Dunn.
The guys demonstrated the opening tape pull for production assistants Rek and Hayley in the trailer where they got gussied up. Hayley ended up doing it in the video.
instagram
The Facebook upload of "Part 1" racked up two million views in a day and a half, six million in less than a week, 10 million before the end of the month, and 15 million in just over three weeks. After six years, it's sitting just under 30 million.
It also nudged them over 600,000 followers on Facebook.
A fan brought the first video to Brendon Urie's attention on Twitter, and he passed it along to his fans, which certainly didn't hurt.
A few fan artists were inspired to capture the guys' predicament, and speculate about the aftermath.
art by amedamatoame (師旋)
art by Clara Meath & Leon King
VoicePlay's video for "Billie Eilish in 3 Minutes", released a little over a year later, is a prequel to this story, showing how they ended up in so much danger.
Some fans have embraced a headcanon that the video for "Queen in 5 Minutes" is the next episode in this story, and that Earl ends up in the hospital because Geoff cut the wrong wire and failed to stop the explosion.
The unified video was originally only available to Patreon patrons, but it was uploaded to VoicePlay's TikTok account after five years.
During a break in filming, Eli's shared a story about a mishap that occured while he was playing Fortnite.
instagram
They also used their break time to practice a little stunt work.
instagram
They even created a suitably dramatic trailer for this two-parter.
instagram
A single-track audio version was later included on VoicePlay's "Citrus" album, which compiled most of the songs they recorded from 2017-19. Because the individual songs had already been made available digitally, that album is exclusively a physical item that can only be purchased at live shows or through their website.

Over sexualisation part four of women and young women
Here is another part where I’ve put glamour models into the excuse, when you look at pictures of Jordan surgeries and things like that , we have Jordan Jodie Marsh and some of the UK kind of models who were in the British tabloids I the Sun the mirror et cetera and page 3 which doesn’t exist any more like Playboy it was something that was taken away but many of these girls were on their fling their bodies are very young age a, so men have become customised. That is what women do to me. This is where a lot of the disrespect comes from in that area..
Them themselves because they wanted to be glamour models, especially Jordan like she seems happy and what she does but interview with her on James English podcast she wouldn’t want it for her own daughter so you know and she says about experiences she went through like getting abused or raped or sexually assaulted by photographer or people in the industry, there is one person that she hasn’t named. I think it’s like a famous football player or popstar or something like that., she knows the industry that happens with powerful women , bitches of Catherine Heigl, and I know shit considered to be a bitch because they know how to protect themselves or they know how to keep away from the creepy monsters in these industries where they are running ramp this world is run by sex offenders perverted people to all sorts of manor you only have to say things with Jeffrey Epstein and Bill Cosby or Kelly Puff Daddy, who were celebrated for many years and now coming out, it’s not disrespectful people being the part we don’t like is that they are closeted and they see it is a bad thing if they were more honest about who they really are maybe we would understand it better, fight us P. Diddy , even spoke about when he had usher who is 10 years younger than him how they would fight over breakfast for cereal and wrest each other .
Even in the industries of magazines for sports cars or motorbikes and like that you have women on the front page on top of the car or motorbike half naked and as a bisexual I like to see the woman body I don’t get me wrong I just don’t like the way the women are treated in these situations and don’t get me wrong. I like the female form and I like to see it But I just worry about how really treated and what’s going on for them and these industries are wolves sheep , let’s talk about something that’s a bit off topic but still in the same ballpark. When Whitney Houston died , evil manager boss, whatever Clive Davis the monster , devil himself 👹, had a party with Whitney’s bodies still upstairs for the Grammys it wasn’t a very good moment , and the day before Brandy and Monica and Cliver on film and you see Whitney come with her and she passes a note to brandy Norwood , the sister of Ray who Kim Kardashian did sex tape but was also I believe Whitney’s drug supplier at the time of her death even Montana don’t even know they’re famous , he is allegedly a pimp in Hollywood , only have to see him hang around with the Kardashians to believe that this is true Candice Owens , final click Kim Kardashian off Whitney Houston and Ray J saying that crack is whack and you really are bad and making fun of Whitney‘s drug addiction .
Had a lot of problems, Jodie Marsh, she has suffered with the severe depression and was actually the rival of Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan had a few which was probably created by men in the industry. Let’s be real. She make fun of her natural breast. And said that they were sagging although she looked beautiful ,😻.
Lolo Ferrari, who was on Eurotrash , was known to have the biggest breast in the world fake ones obviously who is in this picture? Collage , with a con who was a drug dealer and also a pimp and wasn’t really nice to her m they alleged that she died of suicide , haven’t seen many programs or witness many things where this could be untrue , to her believe that the ex partner had something to do with her death , I have just done a video on Rhianna and she was flown over here from Barbados to America and was signed to death jam with Jay-Z who let’s not be silly now , Is gonna have his own demise I believe that he has had relations with Rihanna when she was young. She was only 16 years old when she got signed , here illegally and started off in Connecticut , And now she is one of the biggest making money makers in the world good for her. I’m glad she got away but who knows if she got away for good because she still in that circle in the music industry, et cetera .
By dating A$AP Rocky and having two children with him, I don’t know if she still loves a relationship with Jay-Z. They say blind items that she’s had and been with him for many years which wouldn’t surprise me of Jay-Z grooming .

Nah like dad and auntie Claire are cousins.
Grandpa Jhun and Grandma Rosalinda are siblings.
Like that’s like mom and uncle Ross.
And then me and Roslyn are cousins.
Dad doesn’t know Auntie Claire’s sons like that though.
I know Greyson and Owen. 😭
It’s just like Auntie Claire isn’t just an auntie bc she’s just older and that’s what we’ll call her.
That’s like Greyson and Owen calling me Auntie Cha 😭
She’s literally my auntie ( bc she’s my dad’s cousin)
I feel like whoever you talk to though might not fully see it like that.
bc some won’t consider their cousins kids your nieces and nephews.
But like even my grandfathers brother. I will call him grandpa too. Lolo dan.
Idk it’s just wild to me now. We’re not even close to dads side of the family like we are to moms.

4K Ultra HD Review: Krampus: The Naughty Cut
Having crafted a quintessential Halloween movie with 2007's Trick 'r Treat, writer-director Michael Dougherty set his sights on Christmas for his sophomore effort. Like a holiday miracle, he succeeded yet again with 2015's Krampus. With scares and stakes accounted for, it's a great gateway horror movie; not since Gremlins has there been such a masterful mix of horror, humor, heart, and holiday cheer. The dichotomy is brilliantly established with the opening Warner Bros. and Legendary logos covered in ice, immediately followed by the opening credits over slow motion footage of Black Friday chaos at a big box store to the tune of Bing Crosby's "It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas."
The first act is a humorous but relatable look at the stress of dysfunctional family gatherings for the holidays, a la Christmas Vacation. At the heart of the story is Max (Emjay Anthony, Chef), who still believes in Santa Claus despite the ridicule of his peers. His upper-class family - father Tom (Adam Scott, Parks and Recreation), mother Sarah (Toni Collette, Hereditary), teenage sister Beth (Stefania LaVie Owen, Sweet Tooth), and grandmother Omi (Krista Stadler) - is joined by their blue-collar relatives - aunt Linda (Allison Tolman, Fargo), uncle Howard (David Koechner, Anchorman), cousins Stevie (Lolo Owen), Jordan (Queenie Samuel) and Howie (Maverick Flack), and cantankerous great-aunt Dorothy (Conchata Ferrell, Two and a Half Men).
The horror elements are introduced after a blizzard leaves them without power. It's not long before Krampus - a horned creature from European folklore that punishes naughty children at Christmas, like the antithesis of Santa - rears his ugly head. Omi shares the legend with her family via a stop-motion animated flashback, beautifully harkening back to Rankin-Bass' classic Christmas specials. The monster is not alone; Dougherty and co-writers Zach Shields (Godzilla: King of the Monsters) and Todd Casey turn a cornucopia of holiday staples into Krampus' minions, from elves that could be the subject of their own folk horror movie and mischievous gingerbread cookies to killer toys that would make Charles Band jealous and a man-eating jack-in-the-box that's pure nightmare fuel.
Krampus arrives on 4K Ultra HD via Scream Factory in its never-before-seen “Naughty Cut,” which restores dialogue that had to be removed to secure a PG-13 rating along with scenes that were cut for time. The differences are not critical - a total of four minutes is added, bringing the runtime to 102 minutes - so the pacing isn't hindered. The PG-13 rating never hurt the film, as it opened the picture to a wider audience without shying away from the horror, but the new cut offers an additional F-bomb or two. It also has several brief character beats, including more Ferrell and a connection to Trick 'r Treat.
Krampus is presented in 4K with Dolby Vision HDR and a new Dolby Atmos audio track, along with existing DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and stereo options. The theatrical cut is not included - almost certainly a contractual restriction, as Scream Factory has been known to include multiple versions of movies when possible - but the Naughty Cut is an easy choice to replace the original version as mandatory December viewing. The film was shot digitally, so the 4K upgrade is not as significant as a film restoration, but the movie looks great. Like the Jim Henson of the macabre, Weta Workshop's (The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit) whimsical practical effects really shine, while Jules Cook's (Chappie) production design impressively turns a New Zealand sound stage into a winter wonderland.
If the allure of 4K and an extended cut isn't enough to entice you to upgrade, Scream Factory has loaded the accompanying Blu-ray disc with nine new interviews totaling some 90 minutes. Dougherty breaks down his approach to the film, from conception to casting to special effects to the ambiguous ending. Casey details the evolution of the script and, like Dougherty, mentions Gremlins as a point of reference. Koechner excitedly recalls shooting in New Zealand, joking with Scott, and dining with Peter Jackson. Tolman discusses going from her breakout first TV role on Fargo to Krampus as her first movie. Now a fast-talking 18 year old, Anthony reflects on his experiences fondly. Krampus actor Luke Hawker details his methodology for playing the 7' beast at only 5'9" - with the help of a 90-pound suit. WETA's design and effects supervisor Richard Taylor briefly breaks down some of his team's work. Storyboard artist Simeon Wilkins notes how he coincidentally drew Koechner as his character long before he was cast. Composer Douglas Pipes (Trick 'r Treat, The Babysitter) talks about weaving classic Christmas themes and instrumentation into his score.
Archival special features are also included. Dougherty, Casey, and Shields provide an entertaining and informative audio commentary (retrofitted to the new cut). Krampus Comes Alive is a half-hour making of featurette broken into 5 parts - Dougherty's Vision, Meet the Cast, Krampus and his Minions, Practical Danger, and Production Design - with Dougherty, the lead actors, and many key crew members. Behind-the-Scenes at Weta Workshop offers additional insight into the special effects. Several - but, interestingly, not all - of the 14 deleted/extended scenes were reinstated in the extended cut. An alternate ending, a gag reel, the theatrical trailer, and four galleries (posters, creature art, story art, storyboards, and Dougherty's Christmas card art) round out the extras.
Krampus: The Naughty Cut is available now on 4K Ultra HD via Scream Factory.

APAP 2019 — VoicePlay live performances
Every trip to the Association of Performing Arts Professionals annual conference in NYC included a showcase concert to show off the guys' talents for potential show bookers. The setlists they put together each year included a combination of established crowd pleasers and new material that demonstrated the breadth of their repertoire. These two recordings are great examples of their appeal.
.
youtube
This medley was incredibly impressive when they released their videos with professional audio recording and mixing, and the ability to record as many takes as they wanted. Seeing the guys tackle it live might be even more astounding.
Details:
title: Panic! in 4 Minutes
original songs / performers: "Victorious"; "I Write Sins Not Tragedies"; "Emperor's New Clothes"; "Miss Jackson", feat. Lolo; "The Ballad of Mona Lisa"; "This Is Gospel"; "High Hopes"; "Say Amen (Saturday Night)"
written by: all songs by Brendon Urie in collaboration – "Victorious" with Mike Viola, Morgan "White Sea" Kibby, Jake Sinclair, Alexander DeLeon, Rivers Cuomo, & CJ Baran; "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" with Ryan Ross & Spencer Smith; "Emperor's New Clothes" with Jake Sinclair, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Sam Hollander, & Dan Wilson; "Miss Jackson" with Dallon Weekes, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Jake Sinclair, Amir Jerome Salem, & Alex Goose; "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" with Spencer Smith, Butch Walker, & John Feldmann; "This Is Gospel" with Dallon Weekes & Jake Sinclair; "High Hopes" with Jake Sinclair, Jenny Owen Youngs, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Sam Hollander, William Lobban-Bean, Jonas Jeberg, Taylor Parks, & Ilsey Juber; "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" with Jake Sinclair, Sam Hollander, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Imad Royal, Nathan Abshire, Suzy Shinn, Tom Peyton, Tobias Wincorn, & The Budos Band
arranged by: Layne Stein & Earl Elkins Jr.
performance date: 6 January 2019
My favorite bits:
Layne including the tape rip sound effect in his percussion
that gorgeous "Victorious" chord
Eli's fantastic grit on "Emperor's New Clothes"
the clean cut-offs during "Miss Jackson"
Geoff taking over the beatboxing during Layne's lead for "This Is Gospel"
the lowkey step-touch groove
sparing J.None's vocal chords by substituting a harmonized ♫ "we're gonna feel alriiight" ♫ for the squealingly high "Saturday"
such a well coordinated ending
Trivia:
This medley was originally released in two parts, with a week-long cliffhanger between "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" and "This Is Gospel". Clips from those videos play on the screen behind them as they perform it live.

This number was a longtime fan favorite at VoicePlay's live shows. The bandmates often refer to each other as brothers, and that comes with the occasional bickering. Luckily for us, this battle for the spotlight is entertaining as heck and (as far as I know) only pretend.
Details:
title: Elvira
original performers: The Oak Ridge Boys
written by: Dallas Frazier
arranged by: Geoff Castellucci
performance date: 6 January 2019
My favorite bits:
"Are there any country fans here?" / "Boo." / "This is gonna go great. Thanks." 😒
the trio in the corner hastily rearranging themselves
everyone cutting out for the first ♫ ⇓ "miiine" ⇓ ♫
Earl's strategic retreat after Geoff gives him the stink-eye
that extra low-end riff at the end of J.None's solo
and Eli's incredible vocal agility, sheesh
Geoff adding an extra deep dip at the end of the second chorus just to rub it in
the surprisingly lovely voice of the cameraperson
that impressive breath control from Earl
Geoff being unable to make eye contact as he strokes Earl's beard
the big ending that never disappoints
J.None dabbing on the way out
Trivia:
Their pals in Home Free enjoyed VoicePlay's version of the song so much that they used this arrangement as a starting point for their own recording with The Oak Ridge Boys.
