Unluckily for Jaster Mereel, he's about to fall in love with the three biggest idiots in the galaxy.

After Anakin saves a Tusken Raider, Shmi Skywalker ends up finding family in a handful of Tusken Raider outcasts. Then they incite a slave rebellion. Oh, and Maul shows up. Threepio might just have a conniption trying to keep Anakin's mother alive.

AKA my excuse to save shmi skywalker and finally do something about my obsession with Tatooine

Our intrepid Skeleton Crew find a lost Jedi Temple, accidentally get flung into the past, then run into a young Jod Na Nawood and his Jedi Master. And yeah, Jod may suck, but it also wouldn't be very Jedi-like of them to sit back and watch his Master die. So yeah. Maybe they save Jod. He can thank them later.

AKA my fun little story involving these adorable kids and my beloved SM-33. Just another excuse to play with time travel with minimal angst

Pretty-Petaled Death: Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker, hanahaki disease, sort of finished sort of wip, 31k

Obi-Wan doesn't remember much of his parents. Just the warmth of a hand brushing his forehead, the glimpse of a broad smile, and a soft voice telling him: "Do not give your heart to another, my dear one. Not unless they love you back. You are far too precious to lose to pretty-petaled death."

But he's too young to understand, and the Jedi don't heed his mother's warnings.

Years later, Obi-Wan wakes with labouring lungs. Tiny, pale-gold flowers curl soft and delicate on his tongue and he knows— There is no saving him.

AKA my attempt at an angsty fix-it before realizing that Obi-Wan really is meant for infinite sadness. Also, he falls in love with exactly the wrong people. Main story finished with alternate ending chapters :) Second chapter is definitely a fix-it!

Even though Shmi is terrified of the way the dreams (more like nightmares) leave Anakin gasping and weeping, she's learned to trust her son's judgement. So when she finds him standing at the edge of the city, looking out into the endless desert, she decides to wait with him.

And she appears. A girl called Rey.

AKA I knew Shmi Skywalker would absolutely adore baby Rey and adopt her the second she gets the chance.

Luke finds Bodhi in the medbay after the Battle of Yavin. The man is battered and bruised but sweeter than anyone he’s met so far in the Rebellion.

He doesn’t run into Ezra until he finds a quiet corner of the bustling base, finally able to take out his lightsaber and reverently give it a few swings. Bridger takes one look at him and karking laughs.

It's about legacy, it's about love. It's about the simple fact that Ahsoka will always be led by the desire to do what is right. But when Ahsoka feels that Rey needs her help, even from a galaxy away, it's mostly about Anakin.

AKA I had a lot of feelings and opinions about rey communing with the spirits of lost Jedi in TROS. Ahsoka and Ezra aren’t dead. Din and Grogu get their cute appearances.

(Sidious is just confused about how all his pawns keep slipping out from beneath his thumb.)

AKA Feemor accidentally ends up back in time and adopts baby Maul. Then he becomes the Disaster Lineage emotional support tooka.

Xanatos du Crion’s Home for Wayward Younglings: Xanatos & Darth Maul & Ezra Bridger & Fox, Xanatos/Jango Fett, teen, time travel, wip

Xanatos does not Fall. Instead, he realizes that family is more than blood and that home is more than an empty house waiting for you to return. Home, he learns, is built from love. It is a pair of open arms, ready to catch you when you fall. It is teasing smiles and kisses pressed upon your brow. It is reassurances and promises fulfilled. It is someone willing to tell you the truth even when it hurts, and it is someone who will be kind to you when the whole galaxy is not. Home is someone who loves you. So much so, that they’ll let you go.

So no, Xanatos does not Fall, and he thinks it’s all going rather well up until time-traveling younglings start falling into his lap.

AKA Xanatos prevents the tragedy at Galidraan, has a lot of trauma about it, then ends up adopting some equally traumatized time traveling kids. Except for Maul. He doesn’t time travel. Xanatos kinda just- trips over that kid along the way.

Bruck Chun is annoyed about a lot of things: like how the Temple refectory only bakes sweet buns on Taungsdays, and how Master Feemor doesn't mind Master Windu getting a bit too handsy, and how he ruined his favourite set of tunics two missions ago, and how his new little Padawan sister is a bit of a brat, and how he somehow managed to kark up the best thing in his life by being a big stupid idiot and kissing his best friend.

But right now, he's mostly annoyed about how this whole Naboo mission has gone so horrifically wrong.

AKA my foray into phantom menace aus. Bruck gets his chance to shine. Also, he’s horrifically in love with Obi-Wan Kenobi. It’s kind of embarrassing. Mostly for him.

LITERALLY mania tea is fascinating im constantly microwaving it in my mind.... like don't get me wrong i rlly do love mania i will defend it always, but knowing joe was absent from and particularly unhappy with it... it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the album per se, it just always. sits in the back of my mind.

it was pretty obvious that joe was literally effervescent with pride in being more involved for srar. it was very interesting to me to find out llamania demos were likely joe & patrick close collaborations because you can tell joe really valued those sessions. for smfs: "[...] i have been more a part of the process from the ground up than i have been in years. i feel a personal connection to these songs." (p.211). and in that discord q&a "i like collaborating with my band" - like that guy clearly loves working with patrick/his band so much😭🥹

(and idk i have to shoehorn this opinion in llamania is soooooso so so so excellent to me like i promise thats not even joetrick brain speaking because i loved it before i even knew any of this info. like hello musically and LYRICALLY all 4 mins of it is already so good and interesting. im so serious)

so to see what happened with mania is so interesting. im just so stuck on the fact that joe says patrick initially agreed with him on the idea of returning to a more acoustically driven sound!!

like why would there be/who would make that sudden call to scrap everything...??

at about 00:58 in this vid patrick explains that the way it used to work, he and pete work so smoothly together they would produce a bunch of material and then ig the industry machine steamrolls on. from the sounds of it in joe's book as well, i wouldnt be surprised if maybe some version of that had happened again for mania? this is so tragic because all of srar they were so fresh faced adamant that the process would be different this time round lol. lmao even. but then... again: the fact joe says before going into mania, patrick had agreed with him on returning to a "band" sound again in the first place is still very intriguing?!?! which then leads me to think about the following -
