Nothing but A Monster

Loki stared at his savior through the dim firelight in the cabin.  Each breath he took hurt, the bandages constricting his abdomen where he sustained several injuries from the large pack of wolves he’d fended off.  His arm was in a sling, bloodied and torn up from being brought down and drug across the snow-covered ground while in his own wolf form.  All because of this mortal… this hunter, who would’ve most likely killed him had he not discovered his secret.

Mobius returned from the kitchenette with two large mugs in hand, though he cautiously approached Loki to hand him one.

“Herbal tea,” he supplied.

“Why did you help me?” Loki questioned, eyes reflecting the flames at him.

Mobius sat the mug down on the end table beside him by the couch where Loki sat.  He took a seat in the chair opposite and drank from his own mug before deciding how to respond.

“Temperatures were dropping fast.  You were hurt, and you…” he hesitated a moment,  “You saved me first. In fact, I should ask you that very question instead.”

Loki scoffed, flicking his eyes to the fire, deciding to deflect instead of answering the question.  “A monster saving a monster from monsters… It is quite foolish.”

“I’m the fool, and you’re hardly a monster…”

Ok now that I’ve watched episode six, I want to write an AU where Sylvie and Loki took Kang up on his offer to completely control the multiverse, write the timeline however they want. Loki would take to being king of the universe like a duck to water, handing the bureaucracy all while working with Sylvie and Mobius to try to find out a way to manage the timelines harmoniously instead of eradicating them.

Sylvie takes a step back from the TVA and running away from everything, and takes a well deserved vacation all through space and time. She sends Loki pictures using her magic, and Loki keeps them pinned on a cork board in his and Mobius’ shared office. There’s a photo of Sylvie roller skating, on a Ferris wheel, lots of sunsets, and Sylvie on a train with a note that says “much better than the last trip, less drunken singing”.

Loki finds a way to get rid of the magic block at the TVA, and the bedroom he and Mobius share has a lovely view of the sea thanks to illusions cast by Loki. And of course they go jet skiing together often, Loki with his arms wrapped tightly around Mobius’ waist, talking about how he’ll make him a world that’s just water so he can ski off into an endless sunset. It’s a topic he also brings up during boring meetings, or meetings that fall into chaos (for example, a meeting with six different versions of Steven Strange).

Hunter B-15 often ends up having to corral different variants into meetings, so she travels a lot. She also makes sure that Loki and Mobius get the files of all the hunters that want to leave the TVA and live a normal life. She finds purpose in her work, and also in the various crafts she takes up— soap making, knitting, crochet, and drawing. She sometimes will pop onto earth to sell her creations or buy things to make more. Loki offers to write a moon that has everything she could ever want in the timeline, but she insists it’s her way to get out of the TVA headquarters

Loki starts getting horrible headaches. While he’s confident, running an entire timeline is hard work, and a strain even to his asgardian body. When Mobius notices him struggling, he gently pulls him away from work, kisses his forehead, and gets him to lay down.

If Loki’s in a bad mood, he’ll ask Mobius to make noise— talk, sing, or just lay down next to him and breathe. It’s comforting to know he’s still there, that they won, that it’s over.

Loki being the mean disaster gay bitch who causes chaos/fights in the glee club Santana

Sylvie joins the glee club and has a beautiful voice which threatens Loki’s place in the glee club so a rivalry starts between them

They have an angry duet of Anything You Can Do from Annie Get Your Gun but much faster and angrier with less banter because they’re emo like that

Mobius becomes fed up with his schools glee club at the Time Variance Academy because they just scout and pull people who can sing out of their schools with threats so they join their glee club

Void High School’s glee club doesn’t trust Mobius and think he’s just there to spy on the competitors so they’re all rude to him

Loki pretends to extend an olive branch to Mobius and be nice to gain his trust (if she also flirts with with him who’s to say)

Mobius develops a bit of a crush on Loki but he’s not gonna tell anyone that

Sylvie and Loki start to work together because they have a common enemy (Mobius) but they end up being similar in many ways and a friendship blossoms

Ravonna is pissed that Mobius left TVA especially since he transferred to Void High School which is their main competition so she spies on him and sees how he looks at Loki

When Sylvie and Loki are talking Ravonna pushes Loki into Sylvie and hides right as Mobius walks by so he sees what looks to be a comprising situation between the two

Mobius feels betrayed by Loki so he breaks into a mashup performance of Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift and Cold Shoulder by Adele

Mobius then runs into B-15 (another member of the void glee club who doesn’t get enough goddamn respect) and asks how long exactly Loki had been dating Sylvie (very jealous oop)

B-15 laughs for like a minute straight and is like boy what are you talking about they hate each other the fuck and Mobius is just ???

Meanwhile Loki and Sylvie are ganging up on Ravonna ready to cut a bitch and Ravonna’s all like maybe if you hadn’t stolen Mobius this wouldn’t have happened and the Void members are just like ‘you didn’t send him here??’

Then Loki realizes Mobius must have seen them if Ravonna had accomplished her goal so they run to find Mobius while Sylvie deals with Ravonna

Loki finds Mobius and he is about to explain when Mobius slaps him across the face and goes on a rant on how you shouldn’t flirt with other people when you’re in a relationship and Loki is mad that he was slapped

Loki explain that it was his old teammate who caused this and he’s not interested in Sylvie in that way

The ourtro is the glee club singing You’re the One by the Vouges and we see Ravonna planning to make Mobius come back (she also like him but also they need his voice)

President Loki is basically the Sue Sylvester of this au and all the Loki variants are the Cheerios and Classic Loki is Will Schuester but less problematic as he should be (I’m too lazy to wire that in lmao)

It’s not as bad as it could be but it is and I hate this and it’s the worse thing I have ever created
