Welcome to the Show!

Hey there! You can call me Ophelia! Not my real name, however it’s a name that I think is extremely pretty and don’t mind going by! This blog is for writing ‘x reader’ requests! I don’t normally write x reader, however I’m willing to learn and think that it could be something fun for me to do in my free time.

If there's a character you want to see and you don't see them in any of the lists, feel free to ask if it's at all possible for me to write that character, but also make sure that you have a character from the list just in case I am not able to!

I thought I should edit and add, fic's can and will be posted on Ao3, and since I use my actual account, all fic's are also posted anonymously. I do however have a series in which you can subscribe and or bookmark: Anonymous Tumblr xReader Requests!

Style of Reader Fic - First Person

I shook my head slightly, watching Remy make a fool of himself trying to impress Rogue again. Logan was trying to encourage him, a glint of feral satisfaction as Morph and Jubilee talked with Storm and Jean. I never quite understood his fascination with the southern woman, though I could admit that she was pretty.

A startled laugh escaped my chest as I watched Bakugou realize that Midoriya had beaten him today, the race to the dorms now over. Kirishima was trying not to laugh, though Denki and Mina were giggling quietly. I rolled my eyes as anger eventually overtook the blond’s face. I had homework to do before meeting with Shinso to train with the capture weapon again.

I groaned softly, turning over and feeling my breath catch in my throat, Natasha was curled up on the other hotel bed just across the room, with an arm under her head. In her arms was the stuffed animal I had gifted her the day before.

There was a sense of dread filling my head as I tried to spot any of my questmates. Percy was missing, again, and worry filled my being as I spotted Nico disappear into the shadows, looking much paler than he had that morning. A startled scream escaped me as something crashed into my side, a glance and I was relieved to see that it was just Mrs. O’Leary.

Style of Reader Fic - Second Person

You were surprised to find that Jean had waited for you instead of heading off with the other girls. Training had been strenuous today, and your back was sore and your hair a tangled mess. A flush appeared when you noticed that she was holding a brush, and was giving you a quiet smile of reassurance.

You sighed as you followed after Tony. The two of you were once again sent out despite the very obvious hate and dislike the two of you held for each other. He was listening to AC/DC on headphones and ignoring your general existence, which was fine by you. By all means he could ignore you.

You were giggling hysterically as you followed after Toga, music running through your head as you tried to decide on what ‘radio station’ you wanted to listen to for the night. You were smiling as Toga glanced back at you, excitement in her eyes. Ahead of her, just barely so, Dabi was ignoring the both of you.

You couldn’t find Annabeth, which would normally be worrisome, however you also knew that she had probably holed herself up in the Athena cabin to study for the exam she would have to take to go to New Rome. You were proud of your girlfriend, just like you knew your boyfriend was. Unfortunately, or fortunately, Percy wouldn’t be joining Annabeth for the first year of collage, instead, he was staying at camp with you to help train the flood of younger campers that had made their way to camp.

Note

Hypothetical question for Marvel Rival related asks, can we do something like the reader being specifically a strategist or like a vanguard when we request them with a character? Like Loki x Strategist! Reader or Dualist! Reader x Venom? For example? And will we need to specify if we want the reader to be gender neutral? Thank you and good luck with the new blog! ♥️

YEAH ABSOLUTELY! I was honestly thinking about that sort of thing, obviously I'd need a little more to go on like if you want a situation or some head canons for something like that. I would be more than happy with making a Marvel Rival Reader who's a part of the game! It already makes sense with the lore seeing as every character is from a different universe in game, so we can say reader is too!

Also all readers will be gender neutral using they/them pronouns and I'll try to keep descriptions to a minimum for everyone! If you want fem/masc presenting please inform me otherwise it always be gn!

Loki x Reader (genderneautral)

This is a backstory to my Loki x reader prompt. Masterlist here.

After years apart the only contact through letters and gifts. You and Loki finally meet face to face where true feelings finally come to light.

Warnings: None Word count: 2496

Your P/O/V:

I skim through my wardrobe scowling. How can I own so many clothes and not have anything to wear. "Y/N?" I sigh "In the wardrobe." Sorin, my best friend walks in grinning "What happened in here?" I wave my arms around "I don't know what to wear." he chuckles looking around my wardrobe "Nothing?" I sigh flopping onto the floor dramatically "Okay so I'm overthing." he chuckles rolling his eyes "Honestly the prince has really got you all in twist hasn't he?"

"I don't know what you are talking about." he grins leaning over me hands on his hips "Of course you don't. Now get up we are going to make you look fabulous. I knew you would be stressing and you are going to look amazing." he steps to the back of the wardrobe taking out a beautiful green outfit with flowers and leaves embroided all over. He also selects a pair of shoes to match and a gold leaf crown that rests around my forhead. "Thats perfect." Sorin grins "I know, what would you do without me. I'm amazing. Now change."

Exiting the wardrobe Sorin grins clapping his hands together "Oh I'm good. Now sit." I sit at my desk while he styles my hair just the way I like setting the crown on top "Thank you Sorin. You are a life saver." He grins wrapping his arms around my shoulders and squeezing gently "Well Loki won't be able to keep his eyes of you." I smack his arm "Will you stop. We haven't seen each other in years."

Sorin rolls his eyes "You've written letters pretty much every day. He has sent you some beautiful gifts and you to him. You talk about him all the time and I don't have to be a mind reader to know all the times you are spacing out you are thinking about him." Lyan sculks into the room stretching out and shaking all the snow from his fur I told you it was obvious. I glare at the wolf who flops down onto my bed getting water droplets everywhere You are in love. I stand rolling my eyes "The both of you need to stop. Lyan you are soaked get of the bed!"

I'm cold. "You have fur you are a wolf. How can you be cold?" Sorin chuckles "It is freezing outside. Though the snow is beautiful." Lyan nods stretching back out on the bed while I roll my eyes "Its warm in the palace."

Lyan rolls onto his back while Sorin laughs smoothing down the front of his suit "Right lets go, can't have you arriving late for your first ball back on Keboria." He holds out his arm which I loop my mine through laughing "What would I do without you?" he sighs dramatically "How you managed before you met me we will never know."

Nerves start fluttering in my stomach the closer we get to the ballroom. What if Loki doesn't recognise me? What if he doesn't turn up? What if he's with someone? Sorins magic floats over me like a calming blanket "Calm down its going to be fine." I smile "Thanks." he grins "Pathokinesis is a very handy thing."

The doors to the ballroom are thrown wide a steady stream of people trikling in. Sorin squeezes my arm gently half pulling me up the stairs music is floating through the doors surrounding us. At the top of the steps we pause and look out over the room, it is adorned with strings of lights and garlands of moons and stars.

My eldest brothers are stood at the bottom of the steps speaking with a familiar man with flowing blond hair. Thor but no sign of his brother. Sorin and I skim the edge of the room stopping in one of the window alcloves grabbing drinks of a passing waiter "I have no idea what this man looks like, can you see him?" I shake my head craining my neck to look around "No."

Sorin starts fidgiting and I follow his gaze over to the man he has been crushing on for the last few months. I grin giving him a shove "Go talk to him, I'll be fine." he doesn't take much prompting and heads over I watch him go grinning, jumping about a foot in the air when a cool voice comes from behind "Who are you looking for?" I swivel around heart pounding in my chest as my eyes meet with a pair of emerald green.

"Loki." he bows his head "Y/N." I smile brightly "Its so good to see you. Your taller. Your hairs grown, it suits you. Your eyes haven't changed though. I'll stop talking now." His lips twitch slightly into half a smile "Its good to see you as well. I am glad too see you recieved my gifts."

I smile running my thumb over the necklace he gifted me. A simple gold pendant containing a star petal, from the plant I healed the first time we met, set in clear resin. I never take it off. "Yes, I love it and those seeds you gave me are growing well. The flowers are stunning."

"I am glad. I greatly enjoyed the books you sent. How was your time travelling?"

"Oh it was excellent. I found some amazing plants, made some good friends. I spent most of my time on Midguard actually some of the plant life there is beautiful, though Ociana was my favourite planet its stunning. How have you been? From your letters your time away from home has been far more exciting than looking at plants." he chuckles turning to face the ballroom "I suppose, my brother is still hotheaded as ever. His friends are insufferable. But I have proggressed with my magic."

I tilt my head slightly "Loki are you alright?" he nods once though his posture remains ridgid "Forgive me, I am not overly comfortable around crowds." I smile slightly "Follow me." I start walking only checking once to make sure he is following leading him to a smaller room attached to the main hall the entrance covered by a low curtain. It is empty inside but the music still drifts through.

He relaxes a little though still does not seem overly comfortable "Is that any better?"

"Yes, thank you." he smiles softly "I apologise for my coldness. I do not know how to act after so long apart." I chuckle crossing my arms "I stand by what I said the first time we met. You can act how ever you wish around me." his smile warms reaching his eyes "Thank you, I do not know what I would have done without your letters. They have been a great comfort recently."

"Well I am glad." A different song starts up and Loki holds out a hand "Would you like to dance?" I take his hand bowing "I would love too." he pulls me in close begining to lead the way around the room in a slow waltz. I loose myself in his eyes the music flowing through the room and wrapping around us.

"You look stunning by the way. Green suits you." I blush slightly but don't drop his gaze despite the heat filling my cheeks "Thank you." Someone enters the room and Loki pauses our movements I spin around almost toppling over if it weren't for Loki's hand on the base of my spine I would have. The man who just entered smirks arms crossed behind his back "What do we have here?"

I frown "What do you want Kilian?" he shrugs taking a step closer "I noticed you had left the party and merely wished to see where you had dissapered too." I don't bother to hide the coldness in my tone as I cross my arms hardening my gaze "I believe my brothers and myself made it perfectly clear you are not welcome here."

He feigns shock a hand to his chest "My mistake, I must have missed a message. But now I am here perhaps you would reconsider my proposal?" I take a deep breath to calm the magic raging beneath my skin "Kilian either you leave now or I call the guards and you spend a night in a jail cell."

Loki's hand remains on the small of my back which is an anchor. A flash of green and a leathal looking dagger appears in his hand the handle hanging from the tips of his fingers so it is only vaguly threatening. Kilian eyes the dagger he talks big but he is no good at hand to hand combat or any type of confrontation. "Perhaps your highness we should talk somewhere in private away from," he glances at Loki again disgust clear on his face "Unwanted attention."

My magic flares slightly sending out a signal to my mother and Calen. "I am not going with you. I have refused you twice, you have insulted my family, attemted to assult my sister and have been banished from the palace. Why do you still insist on coming back?"

"Because I know you return my love."

"You do not love me. You love the power and wealth of my family that is all. And I certainly do not love you." he steps closer and Lokis arm slides around my waist pulling me gently into his side "My family are very wealthy. We are second only to yours, my parents advisors to the King. It should be an honour to marry me." I attempt to keep a straight face but scrunch my nose in disgust, Kilian sighs and draws out of his jacket a blaster "I didn't wish to resort to this."

My magic flares once more this time lashing out at Kilian who merely chuckles his own, a shield, blocking my strike. "Now, now that is no way to treat your future husband."

Finally four guards enter the room my brother leading the way a hard glare set into his features "Harris you are not welcome here. Escort this man of the premises." Kilian turns facing them grinning "I do not think so." He shoots twice though they both miss by a wide mark while he takes of disappering down a corridor "Did he hurt you?"

I shake my head Calen sighing deeply "I'll be having words with the front guards. How he got in... Still you are safe." he nods once too Loki before taking off after the guards. "Well he seemed lovely." I smack his chest while he chuckles "I apologise, I thought it may lighten your mood."

"I need some air." Loki smiles understandingly "I can leave?" I shake my head "No, its alright. I'd like the company." Starting to walk I lead the way out the hall and towards my rooms where there is a large glass door leading out into the gardens all coated in a thick white blanket of snow. I push open the doors and take a deep breath the cool air washing over my senses. "Are you alright?"

I nod taking several more breaths the magic flaring begining to calm down. "Yes thank you." I turn to face him finding him still standing in the warm light of the palace while I have taken several steps out into the gardens a light snow begining to flutter down. "Are you not coming outside?" he shakes his head slightly while I tilt my own to one side "Do you not like the snow?" he shrugs slightly "It is complicated."

"Complicated?"

Loki P/O/V:

Y/N looks stunning with the moonlight and snow fluttering around them. Complicated. The soft expression on their face makes my heart flutter. I can't show them, can I? Would they see past the monster? I frown and lean against the door frame while they tilt their head up to the sky snowflakes landing on their skin.

Their letters have been the only good thing these past few years. I am not sure when friendship turned to love but I do love them, that is why they cannot know about the monster beneath my skin. Becasuse I do not know what I would do if they looked at me with fear and hatred. My original plan was to cut them out of my life, allow them to get on with their life without me but when I saw them in that ballroom I lost all thought of that.

I forgot how... how. They make my heart flutter, my brain loose all function. All I wish to do is take them in my arms and show them how they deserve to be treated. Nothing like that asshole Kilian I believe was his name. I would worship them, they deserve nothing less.

"Loki?" I crash back to reality, Y/N has snow stuck in their hair and a bright smile on their face "Come and dance with me." they hold out their hands and I take a step forward before remembering myself "Please?" I inwardly groan I wish to take their hands. "Come on its fun."

I take another step. Watching as the blue begins to creep up my skin starting from the finger tips and spreading. Usually my magic can hide it but a small part of me doesn't want too. A small part of me does want them to see. I want to show them all of me. Grinning they step closer and grab my hand pulling me out into the snow.

I shut my eyes not ready to see their reaction trying to memorise the smile they always give me worried I may never see it again. Fingertips brush my cheek before their whole hand cups my cheek "Loki please open your eyes." Slowly I do so knowing they are now red not the green they like.

They smile slightly "Is this why you were so out of sorts?" I nod once trying to gage their reaction "You're beautiful. Blue suits you." I must look shocked because their smile grows a small laugh escaping their lips "I meant every word I wrote to you. You never have to worry about how you act around me. I... I love you Loki. Every part."

They lean in their lips pressing against mine gently. I feel frozen their last words clanging around my head and heart. After a moment they go to move away and I finally regain my movement arms wrapping around their waist and chest pulling them closer. Their lips are soft and warm as I try to pour all my feelings into the kiss.

"I love you Y/N." cheeks flushed and eyes wide they loop their arms around my neck the two of us remaining in the snow covered garden, quite music drifting out from the ballroom "Thank you, for trusting me with your secret." I smile pressing my forehead against theirs "I trust you with my life."

"And you with mine."

Entomophobia (Marvel imagine)

Y/N and Thor are playing video games in the living room, with Loki in the kitchen making some tea. Everything is perfectly peaceful and fine... until Loki is suddenly assaulted with the sound of both men screaming at the top of their lungs. Seriously, it sounds like one of them just got their arm chopped off or something.

Loki immediately runs in, “What’s going on?! Are you alright?!” To find Y/N in Thor’s arms, like a Scooby Doo cartoon, Thor standing on a chair on the opposite side of the room.

“What’s going on?!” Y/N yells in a panic. “We almost got attacked by a beast, that’s what’s going on!”

“Beast?” Loki looks around, nothing seeming out of place. “...Where?”

“Are you blind?!”

“How can you not see it brother, It’s right there!” The two point at the coffee table in the middle of the room. Loki looks over to see... a praying mantis sitting on a magazine.

Loki raises an eyebrow. “What? This little thing?”

“Little?!” Thor and Y/N say in unison.

“That... thing is anything but ‘little’!”

“Thor’s right, that thing is massive!” Loki sighs. He wasn’t expecting Y/N to be this bothered with bugs, but growing up with Thor has made him more or less desensitized to the ‘horror’.

“Alright, just let me-” He picks up another of the magazines and rolls it up.

“Wait, no!” Loki looks up at Y/N and Thor, who give him pleading eyes. “...Please don’t kill it.” Loki groans in annoyance, but complies anyway.

He puts his hand down next to the mantis, which, after noticing his hand, (and with some slight prodding from Loki’s other hand.) crawls onto it. Both Thor and Y/N gasp in horror as Loki effortlessly picks his hand up and walks past them. Loki opens a window, sets the mantis on the leaf of a nearby bush, and closes it.

Thor puts Y/N down as Loki is dusting his hands off. “I’ll never understand how you can bear to touch those things.”

“Yeah Loki, you’re crazy! That thing could’ve bitten you!” Loki rolls his eyes as Y/N’s statement.

“Yes, it could’ve, and I’m sure it would’ve been a devastating injury.”

Loki could barely believe that both men he cared for most in the universe, his brother AND his best friend, were afraid of insects. How they were afraid of such small, harmless creatures when they’ve fought real monsters and legions of alien soldiers was beyond him.

...But Loki couldn’t help himself, as he chuckled under his breath on his walk back to the kitchen.

I have surched high and low, looking for a writer that had open requests and has watched the loki series! And finally! My journey has come to and end!!

Okay so I got this story idea for loki and I don't have the writing capability to do it myself. But here's my idea/requests:

So loki and mobius are hanging out, chilling, doing whatever where there's nothing going on so they are just sitting and talking, idk. But somehow they talk about relationships. And loki starts talking about how he was almost married( to reader), but they where attacked and they never maid it to the carimony part where they see each other and all that. Loki says somthing about wishing to see reader in their wedding outfit. And so mobius feels bad and dose just thay for loki and opens a time portal to goo see the reader before the attack.

Okay that was alot I'm sorry haha 😅

But that's been swimming in my head and I would love to see how someone would write it. If you don't wanna write it I totally get it. Hope you have a good day!

“Tonight was too long ago”.

Pairing: Loki x gn!reader (asgardian!reader)

Word count: 2.8K

Warnings: angst with bittersweet ending, major character death, mentions of vomit and murder.

A/N: I’m back at the angst :) sorry I guess. I’m not on vacation but I’m avoiding my responsibilities like a champ.

Loki sighed, staring at his reflection in the cold water. The moonlight shone against his skin, the crystal water shaping the lights over his sharp features. They’ve been talking about many things by now —pretending like Mobius hadn’t watched his entire life already. Mobius knew Loki enjoyed talking about his interests and experiences, even if Mobius had already heard them before.

But there was one thing —one huge thing— Loki had never talked about. Many years of friendship, and Loki wasn’t able to let those words slip off his mouth. He wouldn’t allow it.

What if he let them get out of his chest, and they wouldn’t come back ever again?

They wouldn’t come back, he was sure. And because he was sure, he let them inside for as long as he could.

“Your mother”, he said. Loki had to tear his gaze away from the water, to listen carefully. Mobius swallowed hard, like the words weighed on his tongue. “I’m sorry about what I’ve said before”.

“Oh, Moby Dick”, chuckled Loki, easing his tension. “You’ve apologized a hundred times already. I get it. You didn’t mean it. It’s fine, I’m familiar with the concept of saying the wrong things out of fear”.

“Hey, it wasn’t fear”, said Mobius, lightly punching his shoulder. “And don’t call me that. I know you said it was from a book, but you’re calling me a…”.

“If you hear that title and immediately think about a man’s groin, then I think that’s your issue, not mine”.

“Anyway”, he brushed him off with a laugh. “I feel like I need to repeat it, because you seem… sad. And, you know, it wasn’t your fault”.

“Oh, don’t do that”.

“What?”, he feigned innocence. Loki sighed.

“Touching that subject, thinking you’ll finally get me to talk about what we both already know”.

“I’m… I’m sorry”.

“Yes, you say that a lot”.

“I think you need a friend, right now”.

“I have a friend”.

“Yes, that’s why I’m bringing this subject up. You’ve… Loki, you’ve gone from one chaotic situation to another. Your relationships, all along your life, sucked. I don’t mean to be intrusive, or meddly, but… I care about what you’re not saying. It will haunt you down until you can’t bear it anymore”.

Loki took in a sharp breath, feeling the tears stinging on the corner of his eye, threatening to fall. No —push them back. They can’t get out.

“You know all about my relationships. Why listen to them again, anyway?”.

Mobius began fidgeting with his tempad. Loki searched through his pockets, looking for a pen, anything he could use to keep his hands occupied with a mindless task to avoid going straight to cover his face and allow himself to cry —to finally cry.

It’s been so long.

“Fine, it’s fine. Don’t talk about them. Talk… about the surroundings. How was your family back then?”.

Loki closed his eyes and went back to Asgard. In his mind, it was all the same as it had been for millenias. Now, Asgard was New Asgard, and his brother ruled it from Earth. But, there was a time where the Avengers weren’t there yet, and it all was just the two of them against the realms.

Loki remembers quite vividly, actually. He remembers Thor training against him as if his life depended on it. He remembers Sif having to stop the battle, before Thor would break his bones. Loki remembers himself to be the weaker one, always the weaker one.

He remembers you, by Sif’s side, too. He pushed the thought away and flinched. He didn’t say it out loud, but Mobius knew it was about you. Loki’s mood would change every time your face roamed around his mind.

He remembers stealing bread and fruit from the kitchens to go out on picnics. He remembers your laughter —lyrical, melodic, armonious. He wanted to drown on you. And, by remembering you, he wanted to drown on that same lake he was staring at.

He remembers Frigga’s words, always so on point, always so true.

Loki glanced over to Mobius, without wanting to talk about it. But he did.

“My mother had always been really perspicacious about my relationships. Whether friendships, family, or… other things”.

“Frigga has a good reputation for being clever and insightful”, added Mobius. Loki nodded.

“She also had visions about that night”.

Mobius didn’t say anything. He didn’t want to mess it up.

“You know, I regret many things about it. I regret… firstly, that it wasn’t me. It should’ve been me”, he whispers. Mobius wanted to tell him it wasn’t, but it would be in vain. Nothing he could say could make Loki change his mind about it. “It should’ve been me, and they should’ve been safe. I could’ve assured their safety, but… I guess I didn’t”.

“Why?”.

“Why, you ask? Haven’t you seen it?”.

Mobius, once again, fell silent.

“I wanted to see them”, he whispers, “in their wedding outfit”.

“In their… wedding outfit?”.

“We were about to get married, you know that”, he said, obliviously. Mobius denied with his head. “How could you not know it?”.

“I know about the accident”.

“The attack, you mean”, he corrected, sharp as only you would get him.

“The attack, yes. Sorry”.

“We were going to get married, and then… we didn’t”.

The events came to Loki violently. So quickly, he felt himself about to contour in pain and vomit. He came back to his senses shortly after, but as he opened his eyes, he was back again on this recurrent flashback —this recurrent nightmare.

You stood in front of him. You were yelling —yelling at him, to him, because of him. He rolled his eyes at that comment, he remembers. He shouldn’t have, he thought, looking back at it. He shouldn’t have pretended like he didn’t care, like he was detached from the emotions you were accusing him of having.

“Loki”.

“Yes, Mobile Phone”.

“Stop it. Where are you?”.

“In my head, I guess”.

“Come back”.

Loki opened his eyes.

“I don’t want to go there, ever again”.

“You were talking about a wedding outfit”.

“I regret not… not seeing them on it. It was my fault, after all”.

“It wasn’t your fault, Loki”.

“It was”.

“I can help you”.

“I’m helpless, and they’s gone”.

Mobius smiled gently at him, with a hand on his shoulder. He pointed at the tempad on his hand. Loki opened his mouth widely, about to retort. He couldn’t.

“They’s gone. But you can visit all you want”.

“That’s insane. They deserve to be on their own timeline, without disruptions”.

“I’m not saying you’d go there to avoid the attack from happening. I’m saying you could go… see them in their little outfit. Have a bit of harmless fun".

Loki thought about it.

"If… if I can go there, and replace myself from that moment, and then come back… that wouldn't make much of a mess, right?".

"Are you thinking of…?".

"Just… getting things right. I don't want them to go with that last memory from me".

Mobius understood. Nodding, he opened a portal with the tempad and soon, Loki was on his feet about to walk through it.

He stopped before going in. He looked down at himself and shook his shoulders, dressing in his black and dark green suit —the one he intended to marry in. He arranged his hair in a low man bun and took his nose piercing off, knowing at the time he didn't have it on. He then looked at Mobius, as if looking for approval. He nodded and patted his shoulder.

"Have fun", he smiled gently.

"Will do", joked Loki, knowing this would end up in tears. He fixed his posture, and, with a deep breath, he submerged himself into the past.

He was in the room, too. The Loki from that time, grumpy and arms crossed waiting for the stupid fight to come, looked up at him bewildered. Before he could do anything, Loki covered his mouth and kicked him out of the timeline, closing the portal behind him. Mobius gestured at him that he'd talk him down and explain, and they could delete his memory after that.

Loki roamed around his old room in Asgard. The palace that was now in ruins, held so tightly and in place, as if it wouldn't fall by anything —not even a gigantic fire monster, predicted to be the destroyer of the realm. He walked to his bed, and sat on your side, passing a hand through the silky sheets. It was wrinkly, and you had just gotten off bed. He was sure you were looking for him. You'd come through that door any second now.

"Loki!", you walked in, a frown painted across your red face. He felt his heart on his throat. There you were. It was really you. He stood in shock, his mouth slightly open, and his eyes unable to tear from you. You walked up to him and seemed to be even more upset —now that he wasn't even acknowledging you were mad. "Are you out of your mind?! We're one day before the ceremony and you thought best to come up with that? You're a dick. You know that, right? You're an asshole", you said, and he kept staring at you as if you were telling him you loved him. "What's the matter with you?! Why are you looking at me like that?!".

He had to contain every single urge on him to grab you by the shoulders and kiss you deeply, in the way he knew it'd make you weak on the knees and in the way he had missed for so many years. But he pushed it back. He took in a deep breath, again, and grabbed your hands.

"What did I do, love?", he played innocent, as if the mention of his prank wasn't making his heart ache.

"What did… what did you do?! How can you do something like this and forget it the next second! I know I am marrying a trickster but I thought you'd contain yourself for at least one day, to keep my nerves intact!".

He remembered what he did. It was stupid, really. He thought it'd cheer you up, a stupid joke to calm the storm that was on your head the previous days to the wedding. He had turned the ceremony room into a deep-black darkness whole. He had cut off the lights so that the room wouldn't have any lightning whatsoever as soon as someone walked in.

He remembers what he did after that, in the past. He didn't tell you anything, and wanted to surprise you, as an apology, by filling the room with floating candles.

Many people didn't agree with him marrying you. Most of them didn't want Loki to be a best suitor for the throne; and married and living in Asgard —unlike his brother, who's had a come-and-go affair with a midgardian— people would be against him. That's why the attack happened that night.

This time around, he wouldn't waste any time on making you smile. He knew you'd die anyway, he couldn't change that. But he could do all the things he waited for until the ceremony that never happened.

He sat on the bed, eyes still on you, and pushed you closer to him. You relaxed your face, melting at the love on his gaze, and he smiled sadly, yet kindly. You sat on his leg, and he couldn't hold back anymore the urge to sink his nose in your hair, and hug you tightly. You chuckled, and pushed him back.

"I'm still mad at you, mister. Even if you're this adorable".

"I'm so, so sorry, my little darling", he said sincerely —so sincerely, he caught you off guard. He kept saying sorry and kissing your cheeks until you couldn't hold back your laughter anymore. "I promise you, I'll fix it right now. But I want you to be with me. Is that okay?".

"Can't stay away from me even a minute, can't you?", you joked, and he felt a lump on his throat, downing in with a fake laughter.

"I could never".

"Let's go, then".

"In fact, I… I know you'll hate me for this. You're in all your right to say no, but I need to ask you something", he started. He now realized, it didn't matter the clothing. He really just wanted to be with you. But if he could get a glance of what he could've had if destiny hadn't been such a bitch to him… he needed to take the chance. You nodded, and he asked "Do you think you could show me how gorgeous you look in your wedding's attires, my love? Meanwhile I'll prepare the room".

"Ah, you naughty little…", you laughed, and he chuckled and blushed.

"No, no. I meant your ceremony ones! And I'll fix the lights for the thing I screw up. I have a surprise".

"Oh. In that case, yes, I don't see why not".

"I thought you thought it was bad luck".

"Yes, but not the ceremony outfit, more like the… other one".

"Oh, then you should by all means show me that one".

"Sir, you go fix your mess and I'll go get my wedding outfit. We can get messy later", you said, and he chuckled, kind of disappointed that he had to leave before that.

He had to fight with all of his strength to let go of your hug, and go to the ceremony room to set the flying candles around. He waited with impatience until you opened the doors wildly and your eyes gazed dreamily at the room he had prepared. Your face lit up brightly and he… he fell even deeper in love, if such a thing was possible.

You ran up to him and melted into his arms with a smile, and he didn’t stop murmuring how splendid you looked. His last memory of you was a dead body, and now it would be this dreamy and angelic image of you, happy and unpissed at him. He didn’t know how to feel about it. His you, from his timeline, deserved better too. Every you from other timelines deserved better too, he thought, and shook his head as soon as he thought about it —let us enjoy the moment. Let us enjoy it.

He pulled you closer and kissed you just as he wanted to for all of those years. He kissed you and you didn’t let go for a long time after that. He stayed with his hands around you and your head on his chest.

“Your heartbeat is going crazy”, you murmured, and then you realized he was weeping. A few tears stained his reddened cheeks, and you kissed them. “What’s wrong, my love?”.

“Ah, my sweet”, he chuckled through the tears and looked down, not really answering. “Nothing is wrong. I’m overwhelmed with your gorgeousness”

But you had always been almost as perceptive as his own mother. He knew you were aware something was off. Right there, at that moment, you realized that wasn’t your Loki. You closed your eyes and held him closer to you, and he kissed your forehead.

“Was it long ago?”, you asked, knowing the answer. He seemed different from your Loki. More mature, even taller if possible, his hair seemed to be cut in a different culture than Asgard. He had that light on his eyes, that unstoppable desire to be in everything and everywhere possible —almost completely lit off. As if right there and then was the only place he strived to be at that very same moment. As if not even the next day mattered —just you there—just you now.

“Ages”, he mumbled into your hair, smelling you one last time. “I don’t want to let you go”.

“Tomorrow?”.

“Tonight. But tonight… was too long ago. I can’t do anything about it, I wish I could, but I can’t”, he sobbed. You shushed him and cupped his face. He blinked his tears away and smiled at you. “You look magnificent. I’m sorry for all the trouble I’ve caused you, all of these decades together”.

“Baby, you’ve caused me only happiness”, you said, and kissed him again.

A portal opened at the end of the room, and Mobius with a passed out Loki walked through it. You chuckled.

“I have to go now. So he can have one last time with you, too, alright?”, he whispered against you, still hugging you tightly. “He’s an idiot, but I was too, I suppose. Just, do me a favour, would you?”.

“Yes, my love”.

“Wherever you’ll go… never stop smiling, would you?”.

“I’d never”.

“Don’t forget I love you”.

“And you don’t forget to move on, someday”, you said, gripping tightly to him. It seemed like you already knew your fate would be an inevitable death, even that young, and you seemed more concerned about him than your actual destiny. He kissed you one last time, and walked through the portal with a weight off his shoulders and a better memory of you.

Food Fight (Loki x Reader)

A/N: I have been thinking about writing this for a long time but haven’t had the time to do it but i finally got to finish it!!

Warning: Nudity (non sexual), a little kising but mostly fluff.

Word count: 1728

I open my eyes rolling over looking at the red glowing numbers. 01:55. I groan but get up as I can feel that I aren’t gonna be able to sleep any time soon. My warm feet hit the cold floor of my bedroom as I silently walk to my door. The door handle feels cold against my warm hands as I creak the door open soundlessly. I walk out of my room into the hallway closing the door behind me. My stomach growls eagerly and I sigh. Well, food it is.

I walk to the kitchen opening the fridge to see if there’s anything easy and soundless to make. Well there’s leftover pizza- oh anyways it’s Nat’s pizza, and I am not gonna make the mistake of eating it again. I looked over the food quickly, deciding nothing special was there moving on the cabins.

Before I get a grip on the handle of the cabin a couple cool hands rest on my waist. I smile to myself as I feel the familiar warm feeling in my stomach.

“Darling, what are you doing up this late?” Loki’s voice is a little raspy but no less soothing. I turn around to face Loki looking up at him as I am standing very close to him. In the dark I am only able to see his silhouette but his presence seems to make my whole body relax even more.

“Couldn’t sleep. Decided to go see if there was any food.” I say, my voice only slightly above a whisper. I relax into Loki placing my head on his chest, sighing. His hands go from my waist and over my shoulders, hugging me.

“You remember the brownie ingredients we bought with Peter earlier this week? How about we bake that?” He mumbles into my soft hair, and pulls away from the hug, letting his hands slide down to my waist again. I smile up at him at the thought of newly baked brownies.

“Yes! I would love to.” I say slightly more energetic than last time I spoke. Brownies would make anybody less tired. Loki chuckles slightly at my outburst but proceeds to find the ingredients. Meanwhile I get two bowls and find the recipe we found on google the other day.

“Okay so this recipe says we should start with mixing the wet and dry ingredients in two different bowls,” I say gesturing to the two bowls I have just placed on the table, “I’ll take the dry and you’ll take the wet?” Loki nods, moving over to the larger bowl.

I pour sugar, flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, chocolate chips, and a little bit of salt. I mix the dry ingredients and Loki comes over and I take my bowl, pouring the dry ingredients into his bowl with wet ingredients.

As I am mixing in the ingredients together a big cloud of flour comes over me. I shriek at the sudden flour explosion. Loki bursts out laughing and I turn to see him standing with the flourbag in his hands and flour all over his right hand. I open my mouth in offense and put my hand on my chest as if I were taken aback, but before I get to say anything Loki digs his fingers into the flour once more, splattering it on me again.

That is the last straw for me and I pick up the cocoa powder and throw a hand full onto Loki. His face lights up in surprise at my suddenness and he flinches covering his face with his hands spilling loads of flour on the ground. At that we both start laughing hysterically.

We both take handfuls of flour and cocoa powder getting ready to fire at the other. Right before he throws the flour at me I go to hide behind the counter making him miss me. I hear a muffled “Helvíti!” making me giggle. When Loki rounds the corner of the island counter I throw a surprise shot at him making him shriek before throwing loads of flour at me who is on the ground laughing.

“I give up! I give up!” I yell through my giggles making Loki stop the throwing, squatting down to me sitting lightly on top of my stomach. He wipes my mouth for flour and leans down, kissing me lightly. I relax at the touch of his lips and my hands land in his hair, combing it as our kiss deepens. When our lips part we both catch our breath and I feel a smile creep onto my lips.

“We should finish the brownies.” Loki says sitting down next to me. I sit up slowly with a sigh.

“Yeah, we should.” I just answer. Loki gets up on his feet stretching his hands for me to take. I get up and we both go over to the brownie dough. I find a big pan for the dough while Loki turns on the oven to make it ready. The dough gets into the pan and we set it into the oven.

After I set a timer for the brownies, Loki and I just look at each other. Our hair is messy with both flour and cocoa powder in it and our clothes are covered in the ingredients as well. I giggle a little walking over to Loki wrapping my arms around his waist.

“Should we take a bath? I don’t think I can go a minute more with cocoa powder in my hair.” Loki says with a smile looking down at me. Not looking back I nod and he pulls back and takes my hand in his.

We walk down the hallway till we reach Loki’s room. As we enter the familiar scent comes over me and I take a deep breath relaxing. Loki leads me to the bathroom, closing the door behind us when we walk in. We get the water running and we both get undressed ready for the bath.

“You first, my love.” Loki says gesturing to the big bathtub. I get into the hot water exhaling at the touch of the water. Loki folds the dirty clothes together, putting it into his laundry basket before getting into the tub with me. After getting all the way into the tub he starts moving over to me sitting himself behind me hugging my naked body. I lean into him feeling more relaxed than ever with Loki planting soft kisses on my jaw and neck. The butterflies in my stomach are going wild as I turn my head kissing Loki’s soft, perfect lips once again. God I’m lucky to have this magnificent person as my lover.

We sit like that with Loki holding me for a little while till we remember we have to be quick with the brownies being in the oven and all. It seems we both remembered at the same time because just a moment later Loki stretched his arm over the edge of the tub grabbing the shampoo.

“May I have the honor of washing your hair?” Loki asks teasingly, making us both laugh a little. I nod eagerly, wanting nothing more than getting all the flour out of my hair. He starts massaging my scalp getting the shampoo into my hair. After that he washes it out, making sure there is no trace of flour left in my hair. We switch and I wash his hair.

We get out of the tub not long after Loki grabs two towels, throwing one at me which I catch easily. We get dry and it then hits me that I don’t have any of my own clothes with me.

Loki seems to catch up with my thought process letting out a small “Ahh!” before disappearing out of the bathroom, while I take on my underwear. He returns with a handful of clothes, throwing them on the closed toilet seat. He hands me one of the many Thor t-shirts Thor has given him after he came to Earth to live here. I let out a little giggle at the memories of Thor’s puppy-like body language everytime he sees his beloved hammer on a shirt and how he will always scream “See! Y/n! There, Mjölnir on a shirt!” everytime.

We take on our matching pajama pants and I take on the Thor t-shirt, while Loki takes on a t-shirt with his helmet on, or well the t-shirt I gave him a few months back before we even started dating. My phone starts beeping from Loki’s room and I look up at Loki with a grin knowing the delicious snacks are ready at this very moment. I jump out of the bathroom excitedly earning a laugh from Loki.

We walk out of his room and back to the Kitchen which smells purely of brownies. I run over to the oven like any other child would have done looking through the glass “window” of the oven. They look done.

Loki has taken the pot holders on ready to take the brownies out. I open the oven for him, letting him take the pan out. He sets it on the counter next to the stove and I get a knife ready to cut it in pieces. I cut the brownies and I take up a piece for Loki, handing it to him.

“Here you go, my love.” I say as he takes it. I take a piece for myself as well and we both take a bite and as always it is amazing. Never disappoint. We eat a couple pieces more each when I suddenly feel a wave of tiredness come over me. Loki notices my change in body language and starts cleaning up after we have eaten and puts the brownies into the fridge of course remembering to leave a note close to it so there will be something when we wake up. The Avengers are brutal when it comes to food.

Loki comes over picking up my half asleep form from the chair I have sat myself on while he was packing down the brownies. He lifts me to his room laying me on his bed putting the covers over me and lays down next to me.

“I love you Y/n.” Loki whispers, kissing my forehead, making me snuggle into him even more. Like that we both fall asleep in each other's arms.
