Ohhhh the irony of how Sylvie mocked how Mobius uses pie to lighten the stressed mood and accused him of not caring about the branches....vs Loki using pie to calm him down and make him feel better about his outburst because Loki understands him and his coping mechanisms

I love how instead of trying to calm Loki or persuade him not to fight, Mobius just tells him to be "gentle". He didn't do the whole "it's not worth it" or "just let it go" stuff. He just accepted the fact that Loki would be petty and even encouraged it.

It really shows that Mobius also has a small mischievous side to him, first planning to torture Brad with Loki, then this. Brings me joy ❤

I feel like we don’t talk about this scene enough. It’s the implication that Mobius knows every terrible thing Loki has ever done and has still never seen him as a villain because of it. It’s Loki intimidating Brad by saying that Mobius—the person who understands him best—would agree that Loki is capable of getting what he needs from Brad. It’s Loki admitting that Mobius is the one who knows him better than anyone else ever has. It’s the casual intimacy of the statement, just 3 ostensibly unimportant words thrown on at the end of a sentence that ultimately reveals how familiar and close they really are to each another.

I actually like that in the end it was shown that both Sylvie and Mobius were the core people to Loki’s story. Romantic, platonic, or otherwise, those two are the most important people he knows now. He went to them specifically for advice when HWR said the choice was kill Sylvie or let the TVA fall. And he cares about them enough to sacrifice his own selfish desire (to have a happy life with his friends/found family) to give them a chance. A choice.

(Still hurts that without Loki, Mobius has been left without purpose. That he (and Loki) are left heartbroken while everyone else is able to move forward.)

absolutely no idea how the rest of the series is going to go after ep 4 so uh. have some angst! I had a lot of fun with this one. zoom in on the hands/faces in particular to see the paint texture! :)
