It's that time of the year again where I look back on everything I crocheted over the past year. Looks like this was the year of the hanging plants! There were a handful of crochet things that I didn't have time to photograph bc they had sold immediately during the many markets I participated in this year, including some donut coasters, strawberry charms (final photo taken by @its.greychen !), and a variety of other plants. Thank you to everyone who bought one of these from me!! You've truly helped me embrace my love for botany, despite me having a black thumb lol. My high school self (half of my lifetime ago!?) would be so proud to hear that I'm still crocheting into adulthood. Here's to more projects in the new year!
dont mind me im just thinking about the diferent ways sonja would turn the corvinus castle/fortress from purely a militarized and gothic horror place of nightmares to a more liveable place. gardens filled with nightblooming flowers, climbers like moonflowers allowed to grow alone the stone walls.....importing paints and stones that can glow after being exposed to the sun all day to provide etheral looking paths for those wandering the grounds at night. skylights to let moonlight in all about that have heavy duty shutters during the day. all the night birds, prey animals, and predators happily prowling the woods......like it would seem somewhat dead during the day. little movement outside of the human population. but coming alive at night, it would seem like you'd stumbled into a fairytale.
Greenwood Wednesday’s at the Unplugged Woodshop. These students finished off week three of three with some bowl carving. We had some beautiful spalted maple that I found blown down over the Christmas break at Ashbridges Bay. You can see the colour variations inside their bowls. Great stuff, great group, great fun! No class next week but the following week we’ll have a new group of green woodworkers getting started…. Butter paddles, wooden spoons and bowls. Greenwood Wednesday’s, check out the Unplugged Woodshop website for more details. #theunpluggedwoodshop #greenwoodworking #carving #spooncarving #torontomakers #torontospooncarving #woodbowls #spaltedmaple #local #madebyhand #handcrafted #learnwoodworking #woodworkingclasses #torontowoodworkingclasses #leslieville #gerrones #gerrardstreeteast #unplugged (at The Unplugged Woodshop) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cn4HcDzu66N/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
