Financial Tip
Most of us are having difficulty to manage money, either of allowance from parents, and salaries. But most are, working people. It’s hard to save money, I know. There’s a lot of cute things we can buy and eat a lot. For instance, samgyup on payday because after a week of stress in work, pizza on Saturday and/ or out of town with family on Sunday because that’s a family day.
Yes it is nice to treat yourself or others loved ones because that’s your responsible or it is your fun time with them, your stress reliever as well from work. If you’re a breadwinner, it is really hard to save money from salaries. But if you take this advises, it can help.
I’m not a breadwinner, in fact not to brag but I can enjoy and all my salary are all mine. But I can teach you or give you some advices to save money. Finish this first, we might not have same situation but I assure you can do this tho. When I was a student, allowance is good also or me, so for the students out there, it can help.
1. If you’re a breadwinner, you can also save money. Let’s say you’re allowance is 20K, how about 5K for your savings and the 15K is for your family and bills payments. Either first family or second family (I guess second family is have that kids and spouse lol, anyway... ) Make a pie graph of your expenses and savings for the future, especially when you have kid/s already. I know its hard, because we cannot say the expenses, but just estimated all.
And if you really want some savings, you just have to sacrifice. Big sacrifices makes big results. Trust me, I’ve been there, I did a sacrifice.
Either you’re breadwinner or not, you can solo your salary or allowance, you can save money and can buy whatever you want, not just the needs.
2. About treating yourselves, you can. Once or two a month is good, you should do goal listing. Monthly, weekly, daily goals. Depends on you. For instances, pamper or samgyup like that. Especially if you have a family to feed (First and second to be exact, and if you have a kid you do really treat them per pay-day)
For me, I do goal listning like buying books and makeups because that’s what I want. I can add tattoos on my body and pamper my hair per month or depends on fuzzy hair haha. I eat wherever I craved in, I just noted of my goals. There were may be goal will not check, but still continue on goal listing and graphing your expenses. Especially if you’re a breadwinner. Don’t whine, but do it. Be a do-er.
3. DON’T MAKE UTANG (Borrow/lend money or loan). No. That’s a no-no. Yes, I really did a capslock and make a bold font on that because utang is very hard to swear. Promise. Don’t you ever make utang on somebody, and if you can’t afford a house then don’t make it. Just like a figure of speech but please, please don’t make utang!! If you need money, think on something decent. Sell things you don’t need or like, or sacrifice that first, you can still own it if you have money again. Rent things on pawnshop, it’s just things you can still have it after. Atleast, you can have it better. I know there’s called of treasure or what do you call it, sentimental value things. Ofcourse, there’s still things on your house that has no sentimental value.
Because, same on me, I don’t do sell and rent the things has sentimental. But I know, there are some that can have it better.
Just think that YOLO. If you can’t sell or rent the things has no value.
Take the note of sacrfice. Basically, our life is very short so live life to the fullest and dont’ forget to pray, thank and praise God or whoever you praises.
Business or work, you can save money. Whatever your work is, you can. Even if you just started busniess, you can save money. Just do goal-listning and graphig your expenses and payments. It will be worth it, there were may be long or short to achieve it, still just continue on and I’ll assure that it will be all worth it.
Try first before whining that it still not enough or it’s hard for me blah blah. Always remember the repeating quotes of “Try and try until you succeed”. Yes it’s a reduntant quote but it’s helpful one. Still continue on sacrificing if you really want a big amount of savings, like you can buy a mall. It will be worth it.
Of course, if you’re working you can start a business by simply just add an income for your salary. Not just networking business, there’s a lot of business. You can be Virtual assistance or be an owner of food stall like that. Atleast, you have plenty of money to earn. You can also add part time job like in fastfood chain or graphic artist, or nursing, atleast just add an income.
For today generation, we can’t just rely on one work, but we are really need of multiple work or business, just to have plenty of savings.
That’s all, if you are reading this and havving problems on savings or it took of a lot years and yet there’s no savings, might help with this. Don’t whine at first like it won’t help, salary is small and the likes, try first at-least 6 MONTHS and if didn’t work, okay it doesn’t work.
Just spread the love and no hates.
Keep smiling, its important - Angela MLBB

J. Yoo| Original Muse
Muse Name: Jang-Mi Yoo
Other Names: Mimi [only her family members are allowed this privilege], Rose [her employees/close friends are allowed to call her this], Jang-mi Gongjunim [this translates to Princess Jangmi, which is what associates of her father call her out of respect]
Face Claim: Jeon Jiwoo
Fandom: N/A
Age: 26
Birthday: September 2nd
Species: Snow Leopard Shifter
Sexual Preference: Bisexual
Occupation: Business Owner/ Mob Princess
Family: Jaewon Yoo [father], Bada Yoo [mother]
Abilities: Shifting into a snow leopard, enhaced senses, healing and speed. Jangmi is talented with a blade of any kind, and is also a skilled busniess woman.
History: Jangmi is the only child tp her father, and though most would consider her spoiled, she’s very disciplined and caring. This doesn’t mean she takes crap from anyone, however. As a young child, her father insisted she learn how to earn things, how to listen to others and yet also how to be ruthless. As the only child, Jangmi was learning how to take over for her father when he passed on, and he made sure everyone knew his daughter was to be treated with the utmost respect by anyone under him; even his lieutenants. Jangmi grew up knowing how a man should treat a woman, the respect and help the men gave their own children and wives letting her know not to take anything less from anyone; male or female. She began learning how to wield weapons at 13, first with her father, who specialized in handguns, to each of the lieutenants that specialized in another weapon. While Jangmi found she preferred bladed weapons, she continued to learn about the various guns, eventually carrying a small handgun on her at all times despite having at least four knives of different kinds hidden on her.
In college, Jangmi befriended a hybrid named Sungjin, and the two were quick friends, though their bond was strictly platonic. Sungjin became an unofficial member of the gang, just as protected though he bore not actually influence or position. His friendship with Jangmi was enough to warrant his being protected. Jangmi wanted to own a restaurant where people like themselves could be welcome and safe, and the two agreed that if it ever came about, Sungjin would be allowed to perform on music nights. When Jangmi told her dad, he told her about a local client that had racked up a lot of debt on a loan for a restaurant. He let Jangmi see the building, and Jangmi offered to buy the restaurant, but her father insisted it wouldn’t come to that. He offered to clear the debt if the owner gave the property to Jangmi, and after two months, the deed was in her name. While she finished college up, renovations were being done to her business, and she offered Sungjin after finding out his parents were divorcing and he had lost his job defending a former female coworker from a man who’d gotten too handsy. She wanted women who worked under her to feel safe and respected, and Sungjin had proven on more than one occasion to be just that.
Once her restaurant opened, it didn’t take long before the business exploded. Jangmi’s business degree helped her immensely and she stood up for her employees quickly and often violently. When a male customer stuck his hand down the back of one of her female employee’s pants, she clawed the man’s face, an act that left the man scarred and trying to sue. But when several witnesses spoke against the man, as well as her father speaking up about how the man should have respected his daughter’s business and employees, the charges were dropped and Jangmi was cleared. The act was enough to earn her own level of respect both in and out of her father’s influence and gave her restaurant a notoriety as a safe haven for anyone who set foot inside.

The Real Democracy: I, You and the opposition - the beauty in diversity
Viewpoints or Perceptions?
“वहां से तुम्हे यह 6 दिख रहा होगा. लेकिन यहां से मुझे ये 9 दखता है”
“wahaan se tumhe yeh 6 dikh raha hoga, lekin yahaan se mujhe yeh 9 dikhta hai ….hum donon apni apni jagah sahi hain…bas humaare dekhne ka nazariya alag alag hai”.....
This epic dialogue from the Amitabh Bachchan starrer movie Aakhri Raasta is the basis for ‘relative motion’ in Mechanics (Physics) , ‘perception’ in Psychology and Philosphy and ‘ideology’ in Political Science. Businessmen, farmers, labourers, white collar executives, politicians, civil society, retired servicemen, young entrepreneurs and social activists aspiring to be political leaders all have their own set of viewpoints, which can be correct, partially correct or incorrect depending on the place they are viewed from. Lets discuss few of them in perspectives: Busniess fraternity, labour class, farmers and hosewives.
Business fraternity
The powerhouse of a country. The policy makers for many, at least the perception is such. Turnovers, Sales, Bottom line, Top Lines, working capital, Expansion mode, Lending rates, Tax Sops, recruitment and retention, bankruptcy laws, audits are few of the words commonly found in their discussions. From a political victim, perceived as a beneficiary in a _suit-boot ki Sarkar_to being labelled as _chor _due to _Nirav Modis_and _Vijay Mallayas _and finally _the exploiter_of the labor class and the common man by depriving them of the deserving wages and facilities and high standard products and after sale service respectively.
A shrewd businessman is equivalent to a knowledgeable pandit knowing all Vedas and Upanishads by heart. Not easy to be in their shoes at all despite being perceived as kings of the society who live an easy-going life without having to do much. But at the end of the day, they are the ones who dared to dream and made their own way out of the slavery culture.
Current scenario
After a hectic day of business – negotiations with the buyer/supplier, ongoing management of the job centric (not career centric) Indian labor/employee and trying to escape the toughest and most complicated laws the government has in place to run the business in India, the most sophisticated businessmen find ways to bust stress over a drink at social gatherings in one of the most luxurious farmhouses. And, sometimes, it is the cribbing part which gets them the most pleasure.
Let’s focus on tier-II cities. According to a majority of the small to medium sector business class, it’s a recession due to GST, demonetization, strictness in adherence of labor laws, higher taxes, liquidity crunch, unreasonable lending rates, enforcement of E-payments, e-tenders. Red-Tapism is still prevailing, although much less compared to earlier governments and they find minimal support from the government for expansion and new set up in terms of availability of land and capital, especially post Nirav Modis and Vijay Malayas.
What they expect from the government
The concept of cashless economy to be dealt with more sensitivity and GST process to be made simpler. Increment and online payment of wages along with strict adherence to the labor laws to be dealt leniently. More tax sops and cheaper availability of funds, lesser licenses and government inspectors. But most importantly they dream of the pre-GST and Pre-demonetization “market” back with similar processes.
Opinion
I feel the business class is unable to accept the fact that they are required to share their revenues, more, with their employees and their customers in a more transparent manner – the agenda of Modi Government.
Labourers
Being a Rajni fan I got to revisit the lives of this class in his recently released controversial movie “Kaala”. When every other effort to get the government understand their viewpoint fails, this stratum of society finally choses to strike, and that’s when the state and the so called intellectuals get to acknowledge their importance in the day to day life. Basically, without them, the country would come to a standstill.
Current Scenario
Less jobs post demonetization and push for cashless economy, as most units had to close down owing to cash rich and tax evading transactions. Facing difficulty in operating newly opened bank accounts and getting familiar with the concept of receiving salaries in the bank accounts, they have to face the arrogant behaviour of the bank representatives regarding ATM Card, Cheque Book and cash withdrawal facility. They are still very reluctant to complete documentation for numerous reinforced government schemes like ESI, PF, Pradhan Mantri Bima Yojna, Pradhan Mantri suraksha yojna, Atal Pension Yojna, Bank account linking to Aadhaar number and so on despite the fact that such schemes will only benefit them in long term.
And there are few, but still some number of people in the category, who do say “Sarkar humaare liye kuch kar nahin rahi…minister videsh ghoom rahe hain aur seth ko faayda ho raha hai”. For them, the problem lies in the lack of awareness about the newly launched schemes and difficulty in accessing the benefits of the same.
What they expect from the government
All they needed was - Roti, Kapda Aur Makaan - till sometime back, but now they expect cheap internet data with high speed, malls with theatres and other entertainment options, smart mobile phones, 24*7 cheap electricity and water, convenient and branded grocery stores, convenient public transport system and easy going job.
On a cynical note, they expect the government to come to their houses and solve all their problems. But on a serious note they are interested in the implementation of all the lucrative schemes announced. Easy access to the procedures and quick benefits from the schemes. They want more jobs. They don’t approve qualification or merit as the basis, but want the best of jobs with the highest of wages. Luxury can’t wait, but basic needs like clean drinking water, 18-22 hours of uninterrupted electricity, better medical facilities, high, higher, very high wages but low, lower, very low inflation are expected for sure.
Opinion
They should avoid being a victim of the vote bank politics and should believe that the government (not any party) is keen to work for their benefits. They must change their mindset from a job centric culture to a career-oriented profession. And on the govt.’s front, if each MP had taken even the “one village adoption scheme” seriously, I feel things would have been much better.
Farmers
The Goldmine...!! The backbone of the following – 1) India 2) Society 3) Economy 4) Environment 5) Health of the Society and most importantly 6) THE INDIAN POLITICAL SYSTEM
Agriculture, along with its allied sectors, is the biggest livelihood provider in India, engaging almost 58% of the Indian Population as of today and thus majorly contributing to the GDP number, approximately 17-18%.
But are we treating our farmers well? Do we actually understand their importance? Is the government justified in providing them subsidies and what is this hula-bulla about political parties exploiting the suicides of famers for vote bank politics?
Most of the govt policies are made keeping the farmer in mind. To name a selective few, Soil card check, irrigation, effective and efficient use of water resources, availability of urea, Fixed MSP for the output and subsidized loans for capital to purchase seeds, urea, tractors, etc. Focus to double their income by 2022 apart from providing a house to all equipped with 24 hours electricity connection, 24*7 clean water supply, a toilet. Above that, a medical college in 5 kms vicinity, better roads, schools and other infrastructural facilities. On the financial front, Mudra Yojna, Skill India, Ujjwala Yojna, Crop insurance scheme, medical insurance up to 5 lakh per family household in Ayushman Bharat and many more.
But then, why the suicides? It’s a complex matter and we need to go back and understand the financial cycle of a farmer in pre-Modi era. No, I am not biased towards the current PM but cant deny the fact that he has shown great vision and had put in efforts to make the life of a farmer at par with that of a respectable urban middle class at least. Earlier, farmers were pampered in such a way that they never came out of the debt web and kept expecting for loan waivers and loan subsidies in return of their precious vote. That kept the vicious cycle on finally leading to suicides. No its not done with yet and there is a lot of cleaning to be done. The policies seem to be goal oriented with direct benefits to the famer class in a time bound manner.
We all need to make it happen together and understand the importance of such steps/policies in favor of the farmers.
Housewives
I won’t be exaggerating, If I call them the soul and body of INDIA. Housewives decide the governments of the day. Every strata of the society, no matter how diverse they are, have only one category in common – Housewives, and thus their feedback is of prime importance and decides the success or failure of any policy. Starting from petrol prices, gas subsidies, education cost, inflation, cost of capital (RBI Policy), health quality and accessibility to jobs, pay commissions, textile policies, entertainment tax and so on, everything affects them.
Budget...!! Sometimes even the Finance minister can attend their training sessions and come out as a more learned entity. Optimum allocation of funds to grocery, daily needs, education fees, contingencies, entertainment, monthly subscriptions, clothes, yearly vacations, travel allowances and house maintenance. But more importantly planning for future investments through today’s secret savings. Most of us are aware how their secret cash savings was most discussed topic during the demonetization period.
Current Scenario
Surprisingly, budget somewhat seems to be under control as of today but the rising wages/demand of domestic help and labor centric govt policies, including online transfer of salary, is their major concern. Timely supply of water and electricity during the needy hours is another concern which is a never ending concern but again seems to be under control at the moment.
On the socio-cultural front, the government’s stand on the “triple-Talaq” issue has definitely boosted confidence and strength into them. But law and order still seems to be the biggest threat without any improvement compared to the previous governments. Although _law and order_is a state subject but housewives do expect some bold and visionary steps from the already 4 year old current Home Minister of India. He is yet to make heads turn unlike other ministers of the present Modi government. Kidnapping of kids, safety and security of daughters and other female members of the family and threat to the male members from the so called _gunda_society still find major space and attention in any newspaper or TV news on a daily basis.
Opinion
Women empowerment needs to be understood in totality and bold and visionary steps are required to be taken. I believe it should start from politics and their should be a quota for women in the number of tickets to be given for any election by any party. Finance Portfolio should be handled by women as state ministers if not the as the FM of any state or at the Center.
The Conclusion: Opposition is not the enemy..!
Once I noted down the difference between these three words with examples and I still have them in my Notes application: Sympathy, Apathy and Empathy. And, today, I feel these three magical words are the basis to analyze, to understand and to reflect with others’ perspectives for a harmonious, visionary, wholistic, result oriented and developing India. I will end by another iconic dialogue from the movie “Border”. Hope we get the message loud and clear.
“हम ही हम है तो क्या हम है , तुम ही तुम हो तो क्या तुम हो”
“Hum hi hum hain to kya hum hain, Tum hi tum ho to kya tum ho…”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sympathy: Feeling something for the sake of it. Giving money to the beggars after understanding their pain.
Empathy: The ability to understand and share the feelings of another – within + feeling or inside + suffering. Not giving anything to the beggars after understanding their pain as that will make beggars dependant on begging in long term.
Apathy: a complete lack of emotion, enthusiasm, or concern – not + feeling or without + suffering. Ignoring the beggar completely without trying to understand their pain.
