The rest of the boy's had been listening to him drown on about you for weeks, in one capacity or another. You sat next to him in charms. You got partnered in potions class. You asked to borrow his notes for Herbology because it was somehow the only class he was in the top of.

Personally, Matty was getting a little sick and tired of it all, begging Enzo to just finally do something about it. "Please, for the love of Salazar just ask them to Hogsmead already." Enzo scrunched his nose, "What are you on about?"

Theo audibly groaned, "Fanculo, Berk, seriously?" Enzo scoffed, "Don't you fanculo at me, Theodore. Seriously, what are you guys even on about, we're just friends." Mattheo couldn't help the smirk that graced his face.

"Berkshire, I swear to Merlin if you had a tail it'd be viciously wagging every time they came around."

Enzo rolled his eyes, choosing to walk a few strides ahead of the others. Then you turned the corner down the corridor. Enzo must have been brooding, his head turned down slightly as he's walking because he hadn't seemed to notice you.

Mattheo nudged Theo with his elbow, his wand outstretched, "Watch this." Mattheo flicked his wrist ever so slightly, a beam of white light emitting from the end and hitting Enzo right in the ass just as another student bumped into him.

His lifted his head to apologize, you taking the very moment to also notice him. "Hey! Enzie!" His head immediately turned in your direction and (much to Mattheo and Theo's entertainment) the long fluffy tail that was now attached to Enzo's backside began wagging with vigor.

When you wrapped your arms around his middle to give him a hug Enzo's new found tail began wagging so intensely it was whipping students as they walked by.

After one finally managed a "watch your fucking tail, Berkshire!" you grabbed Enzo by the biceps and swiftly turned him around. "Oh my Godric, Enz, when did you get a tail?"

Enzo peered over his shoulder, trying to get a glance at his apparent new appendage. He then lifted his arm, trying to get a better look at his ass and began unconsciously turning in a circle like a dog chasing it's tail.

Mattheo and Theo had now fallen on the floor in laughter, clutching their stomachs and wiping tears from their eyes. You grabbed Enzo by the elbow, abruptly stopping his circling and dragging him over to the older two boys.

"You two fix this right this instance or I'm giving you both beaks!" You held your wand towards the both of them, Mattheo slowly getting up with his hands raised but still a hint of a giggle escaping him. "Alright alright, cool down, love."

As quickly as he attached it Mattheo flicked his wrist once more and Enzo's tail disappeared. "You're both pricks, the pair of ya. C'mon, let's go," Enzo turned round, grabbing your hand and pulling you back down the corridor.

Theo cupped his hands around his mouth, "Yeah! Pricks that were right!"

The potential for Ghoulcy to be canon may be more likely than y'all think...

Honestly, if it were any other IP I would say there's no way, but this is Fallout we're talking about. A franchise which prides itself on indulging in the ridiculous and absurd scenarios it can come up with.

They've already done it in the games. Hancock is a romance candidate for your character in Fallout 4 and he's a ghoul, so like, the idea of pairing a human with a ghoul is not a new idea in the franchise.

Plus, I feel like there has been some potential actual foreshadowing for it in the show. Not just Norms husband talk in the beginning, but the fact that Lucy is a very frisky lady and not squeamish in the slightest both lend itself to the possibility. Now, that could all just be for the funny, but they do seem like very oddly specific choices on the writers part.

As for Max, I think the line the doctor says, "Will you still want the same things when you've become a whole other animal all together?" is gonna be pretty relevant here. Lucy thought she was gonna find her dad, then go back to her vault and live happily ever after with her LITERAL knight in shining armor. But now that she knows the truth... that probably doesn't seem as appealing as it used to be anymore.

So yeah... probably still unlikely BUT I don't think it's at all out of the realm of possibility. I can definitely see the creators going in that direction just to be funny and shock people, but maybe even more so if they find out there are fans who are actually into it... 😅 I mean who knows? I can dream...

But yes, I know. Maybe this is just all wishful thinking, but I don't care. I'm gonna ride this train til it crashes and burns!! Ghoulcy forever, baby!!

EDIT: I just wanted to quickly add that Walton Goggins also talked about how he and the creators deliberately set out to try and make the Ghoul "kind of hot" (which they obviously succeeded at, because here we are lol). And while, sure, that may have just been for freaky fans like us, there could be another reason if their intention from the beginning was to have a romantic arc with The Ghoul. Gonna give us that whole Beauty and the Beast trope, Fallout edition y'all haha 😃
