God damn. Like, I can’t even imagine how much that must hurt/sting.

Even though it was, at the time, somewhat incidental on Wukong’s part. Imagine just baring your soul, your true self, your entire being to your significant other, only for them to go: “Ew, gross.” And then run away.

Like, holy shit! No wonder he has trust issues. If that happened to me I’d probably never want to show my face in public again. Let alone try to make friends with others.

I highly doubt Macaque truly understands just how much he hurt Wukong that day. And I honestly don’t know if Wukong could find the words to articulate his feelings even if he wanted to.

But imagine a scenario where Wukong is forced to use his kaiju form for whatever reason. And as he’s wrecking shop, he notices Macaque on the sidelines just scaring at him and his form mesmerized. That would be like a punch in the face and/or gut. Because the first time he entered this form Macaque was terrified and ran away, and now he’s suddenly enamored with it?! Is he serious?!

And it wasn't that Macaque had been disgusted or truly horrified by Wukong's Kaiju - but in the moment he had fled with fear like many of their people. Like if you just saw someone burst into flames. Survival instinct activated before his brain did.

But the damage was done.

And despite how much these two love poetry, they're pretty bad at articulating how they feel to one another.

I feel that Wukong would *only* activate his Kaiju again if there was a threat so big that they needed that intimaidation factor.

Wukong goes full three-headed, six-armed, being made of sunlight on the threat. Looks down and there's Macaque with a look in his eyes... one that Wukong knows well.

Why now!? When his like this!?!

Afterwards some soft words are exchanged.

Macaque: "I had been afraid back then Wukong. I had no idea what had happened when you first transformed. I just... ran." Wukong: "I know. When I saw you and all of the monkeys flee from me I..." (*hides face in knees and arms*) Macaque: "It... in the aftermath of it all, when I realised it was truly you all I could think "By the Gods he's sublime". You turned yourself into a moving sun to fend for your people. And I had... I had run from it. Ran from the deepest manifestation of You. I don't think I could ever apologise for that." Wukong, raises tear-stricken face: "Why didn't you ever tell me?" Macaque, stumbling: "I... I felt like I had no words for it. Even though I threw the worst kind at you under the mountain, I lacked the thought to express how I truly felt afterwards. I guess I forget that not everyone can hear everything. And that even though I could Hear , I hadn't thought to Listen." Wukong: "If... if we were both to transform, right now, would you stay?" Macaque: "I will. On the Enlightened One's name I will stay. I won't run." Wukong: (*silently, his body begins to unfurl into it's Kaiju form. Filling up nearly most of Water Curtain Cave. Each set of red-gold eyes look at Macaque with worry*) Macaque, amazed smile spreading across his face: "Beautiful." Macaque: (*transforms fully into his own smokey kaiju, barely a third the size of Wukong*) (*Both monkeys nuzzle against one another as they would when they were regular sized. Shadow and Light mixing into one another*) Kaiju!Macaque, voice many octaves deeper: "B e a u t i f u l..."

All three of Wukong's Kaiju-form faces blush.

Their sappy rekindling is only interrupted when MK walks in and excitedly declares "MONKEY KING KAIJU!!!!" before transforming into his own - the scruffy, three-tailed, yellow starlight jumping into the middle of the pair like a child demanding a cuddle.

So we been DMing. And thought the greater group would like this odea I had.

FFM is in a volcanic ring, so it goes to show that it's likely an active volcano as well. What if the first time MK sees Wukong's kaiju form is due to an impending eruption?

It was a beautiful day put when MK and Wukong were having a training session when the mountains shook and trembled, interrupting the two monkeys as the play fought. MK was confused about the matter, but shrug it off thinking he and Wukong had been too rough and caused the tremors. It certainly hadn't been the first time.

Wukong, who is a monkey born of the earth and knows the mountain better than anyone else, knows better.

He immediately cuts the training short and tells MK to get off the mountain. All training is canceled until further notice, and he is to stay clear of the place unless instructed otherwise. That tremor was the first warning sign of an impending eruption, and it was a large one, too.

MK had gone home that day confused, wondering why his mentor had suddenly kicked him off the mountain. When he tells his friends, he can't even answer why Wukong had done so as he had been so desperate to get MK to safety the king had forgotten to tell him what the problem even was! This will lead to a problem when the eruption happens, because the whole group wasn't going to let MK be kicked fork training without an answer and they decided to go confront Wukong, not realizing they were stepping foot on an active volcano within hours of a Cesuvius level eruption

Wukong goes full "General-King-Mode" during this time. He can't risk his subjects (demonic and wild) or his beloved island from getting hurt in the eruption.

Wukong breathes steady but nervous, all things are going to plan. The volcanic ring around FFM isn't just a useful security measure - but also evidence of previous redirected eruptions. The danger is ultimately caused by heat and gas being under pressure beneath the earth. Normally all Wukong has to do is punch a hole in the magma chamber every so often to "let off steam".

He calls upon begrudging allies like Macaque (using his portals to evacuate the monkeys) and Iron Fan (to redirect the poisonous fumes). Red Son and DBK are even involved since they are super-heat resistant (DBK literally walks through a waterfall of lava with dinner during "The First Ring") and can help punch holes into the crust to help ease the pressure beneath the earth. Royal sea dragons like Ao Guang are on call to minimize any tidal waves caused in the eruption's wake.

It's a mutual understanding between the immortals. Wukong never wants devastation like The Burning to ever happen again.

He can't let innocent people be hurt by-

MK, waving from Sandys' ship: "Hi Monkey King!! Wukong, furious with worry: "I thought I told you to go home!" MK: "I did go home! And me and the guys are worried why you sent me away like that? If that earthquake was sign of something bigger then we could help!" Mei: "Yeah! And my parents got weird and flew off after the earthquake too! We shouldn't be kept in the dark like this!" Wukong: "Guys, listen very, very carefully; I sent MK home so suddenly because The Island is About to BLOW!!" The Noodle Gang, looking furiously at MK: "WHAT!?" MK, wincing with realisation: "Oooooo... I don't think we can help with that." Wukong, eyes glowing red: "YA THINK!?"

Whilst Wukong is partially to blame for not explaining himself clearly, he isn't blamed for his sheer worry. This isn't some tangible enemy he could defeat, but Nature itself.

Eventually Wukong feels this terrible pit in his stomach. Like his heart is about to burst out of his chest.

Huaguoshan itself is about to blow.

And all his friends are in its' path.

With a Heaven-shaking roar he activates his War Form.

Macaque activates his own, forcing the entirety of the Noodle Gang through one of his portals (boat included) a safe distance from the island. In the shadow's eyes is no longer fear as he once felt towards his mate's form, but adoration.

Wukong plunges to the bottom of the sea beneath the island chain, digging through the silt and rock until he reaches the mantle. With each new punch he releases a new viscous explosion of magma that violently shoots to the surface like an underwater bomb. But with each new punch, the pressure beneath the island itself lessens.

He feels no pain from the heat - it's not comparable to the True Fire he felt within the Furnace.

Around him miles away in all four cardinal directions, sea dragons (including the Ao-Long couple) come to his aid; redirecting the waves away from the cities and islands that would be swept away in the tide.

Above the waves, Iron Fan gets to work fanning the fires and clouds of poisonous sulphur away from the island, a skill she perfected from protecting her home in the Flaming Mountains. (Tang in particular squees at see her in action, followed soon by PIF's own husband).

DBK and Red Son are running along the existing volcanic ring - destroying the old chimneys and opening new channels in the hardened basalt to ease the load off of the King's shoulders. Red Son's fiery mane even seems to be increasing in volume the longer they work to release the heat.

Soon it seems like the ring of fire has been built from the mantle-up.

The Gang are watching the whole thing with amazement. Depending on what happens in between, they may actually try and help the Demon Bull fam with their efforts.

Mei gets a crash course in her own sea-dragon abilities when she has to direct the waves away from Sandy's boat. Her and Red Son laugh, teasing that for a sea dragon, she's more familiar with flames than water!

Pigsy might not be able to withstand the heat - but the indestructible, size altering rake he inherited can! He slingshots it towards DBK's waiting hand - the nine teeth of the rake making nine times the amount of new chimneys in the mantle.

MK is tempted to follow the Monkey King below the waves, but the gentle hand of Sandy (and the not-so-gentle hand of Macaque's kaiju form) stop him from leaving the ship.

As the tremors quiet and the spouts become less frequent, the peak of Huaguoshan seems to "sneeze", and settles back to normalcy as if no great danger was a foot.

After many tense minutes, the Monkey King emerges from the sea - cloaked in salt and lava like he was born from the core of the earth itself.

Macaque makes an appreciative growling sound before slinking his way through the water to greet his King.

All three face of the King are confused. Confused and afraid. Not because his mission failed, far from it.

But because he honestly didn't expect the reaction of his allies;

MK: "MONKEY KING!! YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!" Mei, emerges from the waves: "WE ROCKED!!" Red Son, victory-hugging his parents: "We certainly did rock!" Tang: (*fainted from fanboy-ing too hard*) Pigsy, catching Tang: "YOU DID GREAT, KING!!" Sandy, softer shouts: "I don't think anyone else could have done that!"

Wukong is so taken aback. They... aren't afraid of him??

Each face of the King blushes beneath the yellow-orange glow as the cheers fail to cease. The Demon Bull couple applauding their sworn brother's courage to let his inner self free after so long.

Macaque sidles up to his King. The Shadow's bandage-like tendrils examining Wukong's golden body for injuries or burns. His soft but deep voice whispering into his mates' now-matching six ears.

yes I would. But it requires an enormeous amount of organization, plus you need multiple people to organize a zine, from contacting, to marketing, to production, to logistic etc… I don’t have the time right now as I’m already working.

The rubber duck method is: when making something by yourself you may get stuck/stressed out because you can’t find a solution to a problem. Have a rubber duck on your desk just so you can verbally explain your problem, which could help you solve it by actually hearing it out loud. But a side effect of this is now Red Son will talk to himself while he works, even if it does help it still freaks his parents out hearing him mumbling to himself when they pass his room. Just something I learned recently when watching a video about writing a characters backstory 👍 I thought you might like this too! Bye <3

NEZHA WAS ATTACKED BY AN INVISIBLE KAIJU THAT EVEN DEITIES CAN'T SEEM TO SENSE AND THE BATTLE MADE ITS WAY TO M & R LOCATION.

NEZHA IS OVERPOWERED AND HAS THE LIFE SQUEEZED OUT OF HIM.

MEI'S HURT BAD AND REDSON TRIES TO RETURN NEZHA'S STAFF TO HIM.

HE SOME HOW IS ABLE TO FORGE THE SAMAHDI FIRE IN THE FORM OF NEZHA'S STAFF AND ATTACK'S THE KAIJU.

Idk if it’s me overanalyzing it but,, something else w the scroll is how it was able to kinda predict MKs Big Boi form, even tho it was something we never saw before the special. The scroll is meant to replay PAST mistakes, but it keeps pointing out MK’s “destiny”… his future. Like this is so so weird to me.

Admittedly there are differences, but they are SO SIMILAR. Like Ink one,, almost feels like it IS trying to scare MK away from becoming a bad guy,, preventing what his “destiny” is. HOW DOES THE SCROLL KNOW????

(Lmk Wukong) Yoooooo he is mighty pissed right now, he left you out of the celestial war for a Motherf*cking REASON!!!!!!!!😡🤬 He knew damn well you would escalate the situation especially with your weapon and how many Celestials lost their lives to you. Though to punish you for something you were not responsible for like at all, and their gonna make you pay for this too as the forced the circlet on you had until something unexpected happened.

You were screaming and yelling as you put your power towards your head making Wukong tear up at your pain but soon the circlet completing Burst into pieces. As you glared at the celestials shocking Wukong and scarying the celestials as the see the power of the monkey queen.

(MKR Wukong) Ohhhhhhhhhh boi he's gonna hate himself, for the situation he just got you both into especially in the celestial court. You never backed down yelling that you both deserve better then this, standing up for you and your husband. You may have lost the war but you will win this fight no matter what, that was until the Circlets were forced on not only his but your head as well.

Unfortunately that just further pissed you off as you eyes glowed dark red as you glared at the heavens court, Wukong tried to calm you down even a little bit until he saw that your circlet was overloading trying to contain your power all in vain until it exploded into a billion pieces. At that point he back away from you as he was now genuinely terrified of you.

(NR Wukong) He feels horrible about this not to mention you were his second in command in the war. Then you were put under the same mountain and he would spend all those years apologizing for what happened, but your were more angry with heaven then you would be with him. Then it's gets worse when you are made to wear the circlet as well and those things are painful!!!! Wukong made sure to protect you from it's effects despite your pain tolerance to be higher then his and he's about to see why.

When your eyes soon became pink in blind rage and the circlet cracked and broke right off your head as you glared at into the celestials souls. Wukong was terrified but also turn on entirely as he got a boner from the on coming bloodbath.

You had joined him in your own Kaiju form and join him in his fight against heaven, they had Bullied, slandered, exclude and ostracized you both for the last time and you were ready to get even along with your husband. Now not only were you about to be forced under a mountain but those horrible circlets on yout heads, Except when that happens

You soon had your very own red eyes, matching your husband's and your power single Handley destroyed the circlet that was forced on your head for trying to contain your powers. Now the about to know why the even the king fears the queen. Meanwhile Wukong sat there pale, he hopes to never make you that angry.

(BMW Wukong) Heaven is on their bullsh*t again like always, and are messing with you two even after the war. he always knew you were something special, especially when you both got married. Then came the day the celestials came to demand more things from you and Wukong, and to just have you both under their thumbs. All you both wanted was a life together on flower fruit mountain and have a peaceful married life and maybe start a family. Unfortunately that didn't happen and now a circlet was being forced on both of your heads except

your eyes glowed dark blue and with a loud roar you unleashed your powers, and the circlet on your head stood no chance against your power and was smashed into a billion pieces. You turned to Erlang and the heavens army and unleash hell on all of them, meanwhile Wukong had a very intense fear boner upon this scene but he loves it.

(Destined one) that became a dark and terrible time. After all, you were there when he had that fight with Erlang. You had jumped in to help your husband fight against Erlang while you held off the heavens army, but unfortunately that was their plan so separate you both. Then that horrible circlet that would shock to you to kingdom come was forced on, you always had a high pain tolerance but you were still uncomfortable and that was enough to make the destined one irritated and Vicious he's gonna make sure you won't have to worry about a thing. Although something very different happened

Your eyes became light blue as you unleash the full power of the Destined Queen as that damn Circlet was overwhelmed and blown right off your head. In your rage you turned and destroyed the circlet that was forced on his head. Then directed your wrath back at Erlang as the destined one sat there in shock the destined one now hope to not Upset you.

My brain cannot stop making shadowpeach Au 😭😭. Alright so I just re-watched pacific rim with my father again, like, love the movie and I was like : why not making it into a shadowpeach au?? 🤔

For those who don't know pacific rim (first watch the movie it's awesome) basically it's about giant robots called Jeagers controlled by two pilots who fights giants kaijus. And there is the cool concept of drifting where the two pilots has to syncs with each other and enter each others heads (memories and all).

I'm just imagining Mac and Wukong having to pilot a giant robot again after all their traumas and fights, and having to sync and deal with it. And why not make their Jeager a blend of both their war forms??

And like, each Jeagers will be named after their ship/ dynamics :

Mac / Wu Jeager is : The Shadowpeach

Pigsy/Tang : Freenoodle

PIF/ DBK : Iron Dumpling

Yin/ Jin : Silver-Gold

Mei/ MK : Golden Dragon (actually searched for a platonic ship name for those two and I didn't find it. I don't ship them romantically so if a platonic ship name exist that would save me.)

And some Jeagers have more destructive methods so they're called villains (Iron Dumbling and Silver-Gold), others are more into protecting so they're called heroes (Golden Dragon and Freenoodles).

And like the main kaijus would be based off of LMK main villains (Spider Queen, LBD, Azure...).

Sounds really cool. Now will I do it? I actually don't know, maybe it's just the movie after-hype who's pushing me. I'm still adding it to my list of Au's cause we never know. And I'm posting this cause I thought the concept was cool but I actually have no idea of the plot so if you guys have any ideas and that I'm inspired maybe I'll do a one shot out of it 🤷.

I don't even have a name for it, like I'm trying to find something with "rim"/ "wedge", like idk "wedge between us" or "at the heart's rim" but it's nooot working so I'm just sticking with Pacific rim au (if you have any ideas like please do tell).

You thought back to when you both first met, the day you started the second phase of training. Having worked part time to clean up kaiju, you had become familiar with the process, and began quickly. You were the quickest to finish, offering help to others but most being too egotistical to accept it. Gen was different though, he accepted it gratefully, observing you as you worked and helping where he could. 

After the exam was finished, you both had become officers. He found you after the ceremony, thanking you for the help. He equated the way you worked to fighting a boss on his bs4. You had laughed at that, admitting you didnt know much about games

“Well, would you like to?”

“Like to..?”

“Learn about games”

“Sure why not”

After that, it was history. You both got together shortly after, and while you don’t have a gaming addiction like he does, you still play when you can. You were going to get him so that he could watch you kill a boss that had taken him 4 hours to beat. That was until you heard him saying that he was going to break up with you

You felt that pain in your heart again, wiping the tears away you shook your head. Before you could fully snap out of it Alarms started to ring. You got suited up quickly while being briefed on the honju, it’s fortitude was only 6.3.You needed to blow off steam, so you told the analyst that you could handle it on your own. 

That was your second mistake of the day

The honju had been fine, easy even. You had only messed up once or twice, but you had subjugated it in under an hour. You were giving an update back to the second, and then the ground beneath your feet began to shake. Slowly the kaiju in front of you began to connect itself together, and you saw a new core begin to form from the ground. How? This shouldn’t be happening

Before you could update the control a shaky voice yelled into your right ear

“New Kaiju detected, fortitude 7.8, are you sure you dont want Narumi or Jura to help you?”

You clenched your jaw hearing Narumis name, anger and irritation began to flow through your veins

“I’ll be fine”

“Are you sure? You just went up against one Honju, I know youre the vice captain but everyone has limits-”

“I’ll be fine, don’t worry”

The kaiju in front of you began to take form, it was almost slug like, the residue it was secreating was melting the ground it stood on. Breathing in you pulled out your blade once more, using the fifth form, tempest barrage, you began to harness energy, wind bending around you as you began to fight your way to its core

Once you had slashed, you felt your leg burning. Looking down you saw white

That couldn’t be right? You tried focusing your eyes, and you felt vomit rise in your mouth as you looked to your leg

You could barely call it that, the acid from the kaiju had landed on your leg, and had eaten away to your very bone.

Your head began to spin and soon enough you were on the ground.

As you opened your eyes you expected to be in pain, but you didn’t feel anything. Remembering what had happened, you went to grab your leg, pushing the sheets back from the hospital bed you had been in. Your skin was intact, but there was jagged lines over where the acid had touched you. 

You flinched, hearing something drop. Looking up you made eye contact with none other than Gen. You paled and he paused before running to you. He quickly rushed to you, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close. 

This was cruel, really cruel. How could he act like he still cated after what he had done. You felt your eyes well up with tears again and you blamed it on whatever meds that you had been administered. You began to cry into his chest, he brought you even closer. His hands began to run through your hair, and he dres spirals into your back

“How can you- how can you just act like everythings fine?” you said through your crying

He pulled you out of his arms and looked at you confused

“What are you talking about?”

“I heard you talking to Jura that you wanted to break up with me. You don’t have to pretend anymore” you mumbled out weakly

He stared at you in shock for a second before closing his eyes. Saying nothing he left the room

Well that was it. Your life is officially over. Literally what was that

Before you could find a creative way to hang yourself with your iv, he was back. Looking away you said lowly that you didnt wanna see him.

“You idiot I wasn’t breaking up with you”

This made you turn around. “Then why else wouldn’t I be your girlfriend anymore?”

“Because,” He knelt down to one knee and your eyes widened

He pulled out a ring, it was beautiful. Staring down at it brought you back to one of your gaming sessions

You had been playing a sim game, and you got to design everything your sim wore, her clothes, even her jewerly. And when she was engaged to another sim, you used that to create the “perfect” ring of your dreams. It was ruby and garnet, wrapped around a gold band.

Looking at it, it was almost the same as the one you had created. Once again your eyes welled up with tears, and you nodded vehemently before he gently put it on your finger. Bringing him closer you hugged him again, and pulled him into a deep kiss. Slowly he began to push you down onto the bed. His arms caged around you as he moved from kissing your lips to your cheek, then your jaw.

Working his way down your body he left a trail of small bruises. It was a welcomed pain, and he continued down your hip, reaching further. He stopped once he got to your leg. Tracing the ringed scar that you had recently gotten. Shivering at the sensation he looked back to you and almost moaned at the sight.
