Kirishima:

There’s no denying that Kirishima is a ball of positive vibes who can practically be-friend anyone, including grumpy ol’ Bakugou

You had been quietly observing him, how he was able to make the whole room roar with laughter at something he said and suddenly you felt a little alone, sitting in the dining room eating some food on your own

Of course you were friendly with all of your classmates and you spoke to some of them more than others, but you were the closest with Kirishima

You felt loneliness creep into your heart as negative thoughts made their way into your mind–You’re not important to him, he talks to everyone like that. He’ll find someone more interesting than you one day and you’ll be all on your own. Why can’t you charm the room too, hm??

It was like that for a few days, those negative thoughts just dug you deeper and deeper into a hole of loneliness to the point where you stopped going to the common room and hanging out with everyone as you settled with sitting in despair on your own in your dorm

I feel like it would take Kirishima a while to notice that something is off with you, but one day after turning to say something to you, he realizes that you’re not there and he’s scratching his head, leaving everyone to their own conversations so he can look for you

He finally checks your dorm and sees you there on your bed, scrolling through your phone with a frown on your face, which makes his heart break

He’d ask you what was going on and you’d just tell him that you didn’t want to get in the way of everyone's fun

“Y/N, I have the most fun when I’m with you. I’m just sorry I didn’t notice your feelings sooner. I can get a bit carried away in a room full of people, but out of everyone here, you’re the most important person to me. I don’t want you feeling lonely so long as I have a say in it. Let me know if you feel like that again. Okay?”

You were relieved to hear that he did still care for you and you agree to his words, making a mental note to not let your mind get the best of you

Kirishima would spend the next few days giving you his undivided attention and he’d even find a way to include you in his conversations whenever he does talk to your classmates–he never wants you to feel lonely ever again

Todoroki:

Todoroki is used to being on the sidelines; he practically was on his own growing up thanks to his father…so once Midoriya took him into his inner circle of friends, he couldn’t imagine being lonely anymore

Because of his own experience with feeling lonely, he realizes your own feelings pretty quickly

He notices you sitting on your own and watching everyone from a distance, but as soon as he looks at you, you’d look away

He approaches you straight away and takes a seat across from you, “Do you not like our classmates? If you don’t then I can just hangout with you, just the two of us.”

You’re taken aback by his question, immediately shutting that thought down. It wasn’t that you hated his friends, you just didn’t want to intrude on friends that were already his and not yours

Whether it’s because you’re shy or just intimidated to befriend his friends just because you were close to Todoroki, he lets you know that you’re more than welcome to join his group even if he isn’t there

Todoroki would grab your hand and drag you off to the group consisting of Midoriya, Iida, Uraraka, and Tsuyu, who greet you with grins, instantly welcoming you and starting up conversation with you

Aside from including you in his friend group, Todoroki would try to pay more attention to you and spend one on one time with you whenever you were both available

He never wants you to go through the loneliness that he grew up experiencing ever again and he’d pay extra close attention to you incase it happens again so he can put a stop to it quickly

Bakugou:

Bakugou on the other hand likes to be alone for the most part, even though the Bakusquad hardly ever give him a moment to himself, so he doesn't realize you’re feeling lonely immediately, simply because it’s not something he’s ever really felt

You had been trapped in your room studying for this exam day after day for about a week without a word from Bakugou or any of your friends

You figured someone would stop by to check on you or entertain you whenever you took a break, but it had been uncharacteristically quiet in your dorm

Little did you know that Bakugou knew you were studying and warned everyone to not bother you so you could focus, not realizing that the lack of human contact was bringing this cloud of loneliness over you

He finally notices your change in demeanor one day as you’re both walking back to the dorms together

He asks how your studying is going and you kinda shrug him off, not wanting to be mean, but you felt hurt that he wasn’t going out of his way to spend time with you when you needed him the most

He stops in his tracks, “What the hell did I do now? I haven’t even bothered you for the past week so why the cold shoulder?”

“That’s exactly it! You haven’t stopped by or texted me or anything for the past week. I’ve been on my own without human contact for all that time, I feel horrible,” you let out, feeling a little relieved to have that weight off your shoulders

He doesn’t know what to say about that, but grumbles an apology and shoves his hands in his pockets as he continues to walk to the dorms with his bag slung over his shoulders

The next few days are relatively a lot less lonely as a few of your friends stop by asking if you’re free to hangout for a bit, which is when you’d take your breaks

Bakugou would start coming to your room wordlessly every afternoon with his own textbooks and homework, making himself comfortable beside you at your desk as you both do work in a comfortable silence

Even if he wouldn’t speak much, so that he wouldn’t disturb you, just having him there with you every day made the world of a difference

With him by your side, the loneliness that once filled the air of your dorm was long gone

He’d feel a little guilty about giving you space before, so he’d do anything to make it up to you

You will lafff..... but I will tell anyways..... I was prescribed a “life coach” after I got out of the hospital, which was really just a poorly disguised softcore “make sure u don’t yeet urself” type of thing. He had me write down things I liked about myself, and when I returned the sheet of paper still blank, he wrote stuff down for me. Like five sentences of “My hair and skin are unique and special” “I like animals and enjoy being kind to them” “I am worthy of respect” etc etc. and I had to look in a mirror twice a day and say those sentences to help “boost my self worth”. It sucked so bad dude, and I like got upset about it every time it came up, until finally my therapist was like “... this aint doin this sad bitch no good” and my parents got designated for yeet watch instead.

I know, logically, that (the majority of) people are not purposefully taking time out of their day to make me feel bad. They're trying to be encouraging and loving, and I appreciate it so much. But like... what do I say? If I say thanks, it’s almost like acknowledging what they're saying as true, and I can’t live with myself thinking I’m more than I am. I’m sorry you’ve had experiences that make compliments difficult for you also, I understand bro and I hope that your future holds healing and peace for you.

and YES EXACTLY!!! i love the writing in R&J. it’s beautiful. but people have overused the play SO MUCH and over romanticised it to the point where it doesn’t even make sense anymore. i think even shakespeare would laugh at how much people regard R&J as some sort of pinnacle of romance.

i’m almost 100% certain the man was trying to poke fun at crazy young couples who sacrifice everything for someone they JUST met 💀😂 like there’s no way romeo and juliet wasn’t supposed to be a tragic comedy. never mind the ages. like people back then used to marry early bcs their life span was 40. sure. whatever. not gonna judge it by today’s standards.

bUT. to be so young. and want to fuckin kill yourself over a guy you met 3 days ago??? shakespeare actually having a laugh. i swear! even othello!! man goes crazy literally within TWO DAYS and kills his wife. you can’t tell me that shakespeare’s being serious about this. of course there’s some serious elements but at the end of the day, i think he was just making fun of people doing dumb things with serious consequences.

yknow i’ve noticed. with shakespeare, his tragedies, while dramatic as hell,,, always come off nonsensical. like if you were to perform them in a more light hearted manner, they could pass off as comedies.

but his COMEDIES!! they’re always legit tragic. like under the comedic undertones lie serious, very heartbreaking instances. like jaques in As You Like It.

or even Malvolio making a fool of himself in Twelfth Night. like yeah, he’s a snobby puritan bUT did he really deserve to be locked in a tiny chamber?

idk i just always found it interesting how people take shakespeare and view him through one simple lens. when really the man is a genius and his plays are SO VERSATILE and can be played in so many ways like you said. i wish the general public would see that and appreciate him a lot more :( and not just for “romeo and juliet”. like ok put a sock in it and move on.

i only learnt about merry wives of windsor because i was in a performance fo it for a shakespeare festival but omg i enjoyed it so much

i would argue that R+J has some of shakespeare’s best writings, like juliet’s soliloquy using all the fire metaphors while waiting for romeo just gives me CHILLS and the way romeo screams for mercutio or my favourite line “i defy you stars” ugh i love it

but yeah i would NOT say that romeo and juliet are the peak of romance, you should not fall in love, sleep with, marry and then die for someone you’ve known for three days. let’s keep some common sense here people. even though they marry early that’s just a tad too fast

i legit think shakespeare must have been having a laugh with it. there’s no way that was serious otherwise i’m gonna be worried 😂😂

tbh that’s what i like about his comedies and tragedies, neither of them stick to that one genre. there’s always more depth and layers to it and when you start to pick it apart you really find yourself falling into his words

Omg... ppl picturing Miles and Phoenix as cute lovey dovey adorable, super kind husbandos but then when it’s another ship  “Miles is really toxic with Gumshoe, he cuts his salary, look at that power imbalance!” “Phoenix is so mean to Apollo he jokes about him and doesn’t trust him! And that power imbalance again!” GFBJFGNJTG ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT MILES AND PHOENIX ARE ASSHOLES WHEN NOT SHIPPED TOGETHER? Like... Hhh suddenly Phoenix and Miles totally change their personality with others? What? Does that make narumitsu toxic/problematic too then? I’m so done with this kind of negative post I keep seeing since yesterday. I’ll add that if we follow that logic it’s super easy to make any ship problematic: narumitsu example: “they were childhood friends, but then with Miles’ father murder Miles got persecuted by Manfred and Miles was emotionally weak, Phoenix took advantage of it! to get in relationship with his childhood crush.” Absurd? YEAH I AGREE. CAN YOU. JUST LET PEOPLE DO WHAT THEY WANT WITHOUT BEING SO ANNOYING AND DEPRESSING? And they are fictional, THEY AREN’T REAL!! Even if it was “problematic” (god I don’t even know what it means anymore), I believe that’s how stories can get more interesting. Also stop kinning characters so much? Omg I’m so uncomfortable when people are okay with angst in their ships and content but aren’t in other ships/ other content made by someone they judge “problematic” because it bullies/hurts their “baby”. Characters do not belong to you and won’t be morally down because of a fanfiction or a drawing.

If you don’t like the content just let it go and move on, block the tags idk, but don’t be an ass and pollute the ship tags/ hate publicly a character/ship just because you know that you’re on the safe side of the fandom because you ship the most popular things (aka narumitsu klapollo and franmaya I believe) and you know that you’ll be followed even if you’re being so negative and mean and hurting for people liking those thing you hate so much. Believe me, seeing hate on something you love is really upsetting. 

Like, I know a lot of people that don’t understand franmaya/dislike the ship: are you aware of it? NO. Why? Because we are civilized people and keep our opinion for us and don’t spread it everyday, because it’s useless to just say publicly that you dislike the content and also because sadly we may get bullied too. For a fucking ship preference and because we’re not part of the majority of the fandom.

You know, for someone who love ace attorney, enjoy every characters of the game and just love to talk about anything about ace attorney because it fills me with joy to share my passion, it’s really upsetting to see all those ship wars/ bulling. I wish I could always be happy sharing my content, even to a smaller part of the fandom because I’m aware that I like less common pairing, but I feel like it’s impossible thanks to popular shippers, discord servers and artists who are constantly spreading their social justice warrior propaganda, making anyone think this or that ship is bad, that you should not create content or it because it’s gross etc.. I still post and create what I want, because I know I’m not wrong, but I always have that fear to post something because my words can be twisted and some in the fandom are so toxic. I’ve witnessed hypocrisy, manipulation of words, mass targeting bullying... And you guys are hating on characters that hurt the others? Ah.  As I say, characters aren’t real, but you are actually bullying the humans behind fanarts for just playing with fiction, and that is gross.

And that’s censoring, not prevention against any danger. 

I hope I’ll reach some open-minded fans with this, thank you for anyone reading this, please try to understand and be cool. Eventually share in your AA circles, thank you!

1. It’s your birthday! What did you ask for and did you receive it?

uhm...im an old bean, and ive found that over time ive stopped asking for things necessarily and request more experiences. time spent with people matters more to me than items - i can pretty much buy things on my own if i want them. if im asking for anything id ask for money to put towards bills or savings or trips. this year i asked my parents for some money to convert to yen before i went to japan, which they gave me. of my friends, i asked if we could go for dinner and drinks which was a lovely evening <3 

2. What was the last song or album you listened to?

3. What is your go to snack when you’re hungry or bored?

depends on my energy level. usually chips and veggies with hummus because i dont have to make anything. my ultimate snack is popcorn so i have to be careful about how often i have it because i could eat an entire trucks worth and not feel the least bit guilty.

4. What is your morning routine?

check emails. text parents. catch up on group chats. roll out of bed and wash up. feed the cat. start the day!

5. What mythical/cryptic creature would you be?

god probably some bog witch or oracle on a mountain

6. How do you interact with someone that you don’t like?

i dont. if they are interacting with me i will be polite but the conversation will be curt and brief. 

7. How do you define a toxic person?

=> habits of  dishonesty, manipulation, gaslighting, deflection of blame for wrong doings  => reacting to criticism or conflict rather than responding => engaging or meddling or perpetuating drama simply for the attention, thrill/endorphins of it => someone who drains your energy in their company rather than heals it => inability to admit they were wrong or let situations go

8. Have you ever been to a concert or fan meet type of event? If not, would you want to?

ive been to a significant amount of concerts in my life. i love love love concert going and, before quarantine, i would list this activity as one of my favorite hobbies. while not a fan meet event, ive wound up meeting and becoming acquainted with a number of musicians - either by running into them on the street, working with them in some capacity, waiting in the queue before doors, waiting after a show, etc. i once was able to attend an after party of a show with @queenoftheimpala because i knew what a tubulum was after a band member jokingly posted about it on twitter and we started talking. one of my all time favourite bands provides ticket packages which are both a ticket to the show and an earlier event in which there are panels with therapists discussing the importance of mental health etc etc. 

regarding kpop, i have not attended a fanmeet and tbh i dont think i would. the set up feels unnatural, and it is not that i want to spend hours talking with an artist but it feels very rushed and not entirely personal enough for me to express what id truly want to say. this is just my opinion. i know many fans have attended these events and have had a wonderful time. i just dont think this would suit my energy as im quite introverted and feeling rushed would make me anxious.

9. Do you believe in astrology? Why or why not?

oh for sure i do. when you research charts, planets, alignments, etc etc it can be quite revealing when it comes to personality traits, needs, expectations. while i dont believe it accounts for every single thing about a person (upbringing and societal/cultural influence matter too) it can account for the fundamentals. astrology, tarot, and light work have seen me through some extremely difficult situations in my life and reading tarot/charts has helped me understand why i feel what i feel on certain days.

10. If you had only one sense (hearing, touch, sight, etc.), what would you want?

i rely so heavily on all my senses that i just...dont even know how to pick this. i think id go with touch. taste is a sense omg you mean i cant taste food anymore? oh god. ok uh yeah im still gonna go with touch. touch helps you feel the connection with other people - hugs, hand holding. sounds have waves which you can feel on the body. the earth has texture. touch is how the body relates spatially to other and to itself so yeah i would go with touch.

11. Who is your favourite celebrity or idol?

non kpop = prince, david bowie, chris corner, maynard james keenan....mostly its women. rihanna or sabrina claudio or rosalia. women in the root of their power and sensuality. they are unforgiving in their bodied expressions and i respect them so much. they are unforgiving in their femininity. 

kpop = chanyeol lmao like....unfailingly so

12. If you could talk to your favourite celebrity(s) for a limited time, what would you tell them?

for the non kpop celebrities = im usually just really supportive of women in the entertainment/arts industries so id love to just hear their stories. in this instance i dont think me saying anything is beneficial, more that its important we listen to their journies and their path to success. they have a lot to teach us. chris corner ive met several times and have had many amazing conversations with so in this instance, id just ask if hes doing well, how california is, how his dogs are, give him the update on my tattoo plans etc. for maynard...idk just cry because hes the celebrity ive loved since i was like 4 years old.

kpop = if i had the chance to talk to chanyeol i think like...id just like to talk about his music, thank him for having women as his video editors/videographers, ask his genre tastes, talk about the sheer amount of retro/nostalgia modes on the recent sc album. maybe talk about astronomy. thank him for his power and remind him to eat and that he doesnt need to master everything. achieving perfection is a pursuit of pain, all he has to achieve is happiness within himself. again, remind him to eat.

13. I’m taking you out on a date and it’s your choice. Where are we going?

oooo lets go to an arcade and for dinner. theres some really great barcades in lower manhattan and on LES we can get some amazing dumplings for really cheap and just have a night of talking, playing games, drinking. then maybe walk along the river before we catch the trains home

my sweet tooth has a limit so while i do like sweet im more into savory

i have a lot of band tees, signed posters, albums of theirs theyve signed for me. i have some drum sticks given to me by a few bands, signed set lists. one band gave me a turntable slip cover. i have a few first press or numbered records that ive framed. i have some lightsticks from when i attended some kpop shows. ive got lots of stuff!

I can’t imagine doing something like this ever because losing a child is my worst nightmare but it should be allowed in cases such as rape or when the pregnancy is a danger to the mother and when there is no chance for the mother or child to live or when the foetus has a very serious genetic condition. And it really pisses me off that in my country they want to ban abortion in all cases and it is just purely inhumane. And also not everyone has some moral or religious constraints to do so, so we shouldn’t impose our beliefs on them. They have their own conscience.

What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

you said dc so ill say in the circles ive found myself in i simply do not get dickb*bs, dickr*y, or j*ykyle. i kind of hate dickb*bs? maybe i havent read enough comics w them, but idk, i just dont like it. d*ckroy is like. i read outsiders, and i just didnt see it, im sorry. the most ive ever liked them was in the teen titans animated show. i want to like j*ykyle and ive liked a lot of the stuff ive seen on tumblr, but i think i just like them as like homoerotic enemies type of dynamic and not as like, the gushy sweet stuff most people tend to write about them. ALSO scr*ddler. i dont get scr*ddler at all im just not sure what people like about it??

yeah lol. less so w other fandoms but within the hs fandom there are a lot of things that just arent any fun anymore. to give a milder example i used to rlly like feferi and gamzee and a couple other various characters but i dont rlly like them anymore bc of how ppl talk abt them in fandom spaces

10. Most disliked arc? Why?

i hate hate hate the scarlet arc for jasons preboot run. i HATE scarlet. the whole thing is such a mess i mean youve got whatever the fuck was up w jasons hair youve got the pillhead youve got pr*f p*g (censored bc i hate him and not bc of tags) i mean its just generally like one of my least favorite jason comics ever written. they also literally retcon scarlets backstory the second time she appears. like IMMEDIATE retcon its so fucking stupid i hate it

12. Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

ive heard that a lot of people dont like hush for riddler, but its genuinely one of my favorite comics for him. i feel like it really showcases his brilliance and the way how he challenges batman on an intellectual level thats really interesting and a little darker in a way that i actually enjoyed! it feels very holmes/moriarty and i love them when theyre like that

the batman fandom and the hs fandom hate themselves so much there arent rlly any hot takes lmfao. but the pjo fandom is ridiculously ableist and no one talks about it

i liked hs2 and the epilogues and thats about as unpopular as it gets in terms of homestuck opinions
