jokey dumb streamer au I came up with
Lloyd was a casual streamer and one off gets invited to a solo gaming competition and he's like "sure why not." and he ends up winning the whole thing, because he's secretly good when he trys to be, n gets really popular.
then he gets invited to and joins a gaming group with Cole, Nya, Jay, Kai, and Zane. in this group, they end up playing this really obscure shooter game.
but then, other people start streaming it too and then someone (Chen) makes a tournament for it and invites them and every other streamer to it but they all get hacked (by Clouse) when they lose. They figure this out when after Karloff lost and got out of the tournament, his account started posting about snakes even though he never posted about that before, which also happens to others when they lose. so then Jay pulls an epic gamer move and hacks Chen and Clouse's accounts to get the other streamers their accounts back.
and at some point, Lloyd finds out his dad streams too, via his chat, but absolutely freaks out when he sees that Garmadon just posts asmr

r u gonna share the "jay raised on chens island" au or am i gonna have to beat it outta you/silly
AIGHT
this started off from my theory/au that clouse and libber were besties and that thanks to clouse at libbers request she disappeared (to the cursed realm or to the madness, which is another crack theory/au i have)
so in my interpretation/imagination libber left baby jay herself at the junkyard and then got herself MIA'd
but what if she first got herself MIA'd and entrusted Clouse to keep her kid hidden from other elemental masters?? and what if clouse just kept the kid to himself?? on chen's island??
but all of the au itself got inspired from 'the search for zane' book where jay gets everyone to dress up as kabuki
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is a concept art from this i did a long long time ago
so now it can go a few ways
a) nothing much changes cus jay just regularly goes out into the world, except for additional drama thats revealed in season 4 cus clouse Did Not Like Jay Joining Wu
a.2) jay ran away from there which again Additional Drama
b) a lot changes in the team makeup as jay doesnt join so idk maybe lloyd joins sooner as the green ninja that mostly uses lightning since him using other elements was his thing And he did learn lightning control first in canon Or nya joins sooner as a water ninja. and everyone kinda hates each other and the team vibe is totally different since jay isnt there
and garmadon would be pissed at clouse for hiding libbers baby from him (as i headcanon it was garmadon who actually brought Lib to the side of the elemental alliance)
but all of that means skylor+jay raised as siblings + jay having a pet snake
as i said its just an idea id have to expand on what to do with it but i really like it!! i think itd expand really well and punch up on jay being connected to islands (the keepers' one) AND later tournament of the sources

Green Brothers s4 - 5 lore drop? Please? I am so excited about this AU!
Of course! It's a bit long
So Zane dies still at the end of s3. Morro had already been distant and angry since the end of s2 but watching one of his best friends die was a huge tipping point like it was for the rest of the guys. When Lloyd goes gathering all the ninja, Morro just happens to be working at the Chen's Noodle House they go to. He's there to witness the invitation to the island and got one himself.
The plot still basically goes the same. Spy plot. Skylor still covers her tattoo and is the spy. But now there's 2 spies. The ninja would never have guessed it was one of their own. Morro is on the side of Chen to the point he has an Anacondrai tattoo.
Morro is only revealed during the transformation spell. He's there with Lloyd and the crew. Garmadon falls to his knees in pain and Morro also collapses. Everyone is shocked of course and that's when Chen and crew swoop in to take the blade copters and Roto Jet. Morro takes off and joins them without an explanation.
Lloyd is of course devastated because why would his cousin (doesn't know is actually his brother) join Chen. Garmadon assumes Chen manipulated poor young Morro with a promise of power. They're not mad at him yet, just disappointed.
Cut to Morro overhearing Chen tease Garmadon about the letter and he's horrified but also extremely upset. That man is the reason for his family issues. So he takes off on his own. He's upset at himself, upset at his family, upset at Chen. That was the last poor Morro was seen alive.
Chen and the other fake Anacondrai are sent to the Cursed Realm and Garmadon sacrifices himself. Lloyd asks if anyone has seen Morro but he's nowhere to be found. Wu and Misako still don't tell Lloyd about Morro fully. He just lost his dad, he can't have them telling him he could've also lost his little brother.
Meanwhile, Morro is running. He gets as far away as he can. He disappears into an old yet familiar set of mines. The Caves of Despair. Perfect, he thinks, exactly where he belongs. Morro curses himself. He's angry and sad. He's then trapped in a cave during a localized earthquake and can't get out. Rocks fall and hit him in the head, the cave starts to fill with toxic gas. Morro slumps down against a rock and passes.
Sometime passes and Lloyd is still trying to find Morro when he's summoned to the museum. Strange things occur and once the ghost reveals himself, Lloyd is horrified. There's Morro. A ghost. Attacking and now possessing Lloyd.
Season 5 still plays out basically the same. Morro reveals that Lloyd is his brother, yells at Lloyd that he took everything from him, and that he's going to have his revenge.
At the end when Morro gets grabbed by the Preeminent and gives Wu the Realm Crystal, Wu apologizes to his son and begs him to come back to them and that he forgives him. Morro cries and takes up the offer and gets pulled out to safety. Lloyd comes back out of a Realm portal, sees Morro and gets ready to attack, but Wu stops him and tells him Morro is ready to apologize and reform. Then the whole family hugs and apologizes. Morro finally gets a full family hug. And that's how season 5 ends

Dear spinchip, I have a few questions for your #Ninjago Finds the Way Home AU:
Is this fanfic already written online or are you still working on it because I can't find it?
What are your plans for the following characters if they exist in the world: Wu, Garmadon, Misako, Phytor, Skales, Morro, Harumi, Omega, Overlord and maybe others.
So now everyone in the world knows about the existence of the elemental masters?
What are your plans for the parallel realms and Dragons Rising's concepts?
Apart from the timeline and Lloyd's age, what is the biggest changes compared to the original story?
hi there! Thanks for the ask!
Find Your Way Home is NOT yet written! It exists only in tumblr posts. It might be fun to write it all out eventually, but I have other projects i'd like to finish first :] I'm glad youre interested in reading it! Maybe one day !!
Wu, Garmadon, and Misako are all included in the first 'season' of FYWH. After Lloyd sneaks away to join the Tournament of Elements, Misako and Wu go together to get Garmadon out of the underworld in order to save Lloyd and Stop Chen and Clouse. ---Pythor and Skales come into play in the second 'season' Skales and the other snakes are allies attempting to stop Chen and Clouse with the ninja. They are all searching for the anacondrai tomb in order to keep Chens snake spell from becoming permanent... Pythor is, probably, a villain who allies himself with Chen when they do find him. --- Morro will probably follow the same sort of plot as canon, but i have no concrete plans for him yet. --- Harumi and omega will probably still exist, but in a different capacity- i'm not sure, yet! --- The overlord will be the Final Big Bad. the 'series finale' so to speak, he will come along at the very end of the whole series rewrite.
The tournament of elements is not a public/broadcast event, so there will still be a bit of anonymity to who exactly has what elemental power in the public, but yes the people of ninjago will know that elemental masters are a thing. The ninja are the only ones who really stay in the public eye after the tournament.
i have not seen DR so i have absolutely no plans for anything covered there teehee
Zane knows hes a robot and purposefully keeps it a secret for a long time. There is no Pixzan probably, and nya/jay is not endgame. Misako is far more present. Samurai X is split into two, with Pixal starting the series as Mecha X and nya eventually becoming Samurai Phoenix. i'm sure there are more but thats what i can think of off the top of my head!
thanks again for the ask!

We don’t talk about the potential Pixal and Morro relationship enough.
Especially in resurrected AU’s. Like bro this guy was evil and came back and was most likely forced (probably weirdly unwillingly by the ninja themselves too, its a complicated situation when its these lot) to join the ninja and help them, and probably feels really out of place both situation wise and body wise, and Pixal understands.
Like I’m not saying she’ll immediately like him, in fact she’d probably hate him in a detached way (like how we dislike characters in a show, but if that person was irl in front of you and you were there to witness and experience what they had done, you’d hate them (and i mean HATE) kinda thing) but she’ll sympathise with him because she was a ‘bad guy’ who was under the control of an evil guy that made her super evil, was stuck as an ai in a computer for ages and forced herself back into a strange body, and probably felt out of place at first too. Not to mention they both died (‘died’ for Pixal) in a dark cave, Pixal at Chen’s place and Morro in the Caves of despair.
These two have similarities that they would bond upon, except Morro is stubborn and emo, and Pixal is stubborn too but shes not emo and if shes the only one who can help Morro without triggering trauma then dammit shes gonna do it because Zane and Lloyd rubbed off on her.
Heres what i imagine would actually happen:
Pixal who comforts Morro once because she felt bad and sympathetic and has a meaningful conversation of change and growth with Morro who honestly found it weird and unwillingly appreciated it, proceeds to then bully Morro after asking Wu the best way to get motivate Morro every chance she gets. And she quickly learns that its effective.
If she told Morro that he was being a loser for not at the least trying to eat, he begins trying to eat at least two meals a day, even if its something small.
If she told him that he stinks worse then Jay after he finally finishes a project he’s running to that shower no matter what instinctual fear he has to it. (He has no idea how Jay smells after finishing a project)
If she says thats he’s an idiot for passing out, and casually says “Maybe if you drank water, you’d actually be fine like the rest of us.” And he’s chugging a bottle as fast as he can once a day.
Bro like it wouldn’t motivate him to push his limits but it would motivate him to do the bare minimum and she loves it.
Eventually they become two siblings bickering and it’s hilarious. Zane now has two brother in laws (Morro and Cryptor)
Haha i like to headcanon thats what Wu did (except nicer) because it motivated Morro to train and learn skills better rather then “oh you did amazing honey dw we can work on it” because then he hates everything and takes it as disappointment.

Wind Only Fuels the Fire (Ninjago Oneshot)
https://archiveofourown.org/works/64019482
For my Darkley’s Au
Kai is having trouble reaching out to Lloyd when a certain master of wind keeps getting in between the two of them. Finally, the fire ninja gets a chance to convince Morro to leave him alone. The question is, does it work?
Morro was honestly starting to get on Kai’s nerves. It had only been little over a month since the group of ninja had joined Darkley’s Boarding School for Bad Kids, but the fire ninja had not been impressed by his first encounter with the former. Nor his second. Nor his third. And the feeling seemed mutual with the master of wind.
The feud between the two of them had began on one of Kai’s first days. He had spotted Sensei Wu’s nephew sitting on a boulder about four feet tall that was near the entrance of the academic center. Everything seemed to match his sensei’s description of his nephew: a blond boy, around five feet tall, sporting a skeleton hoodie and all alone. Kai straightened his shirt collar and headed in Lloyd’s direction with the friendliest smile he could muster up. If what Wu said was right, then this kid was hardly a replica of his evil incarnate father. It had taken a while for Kai to believe that until he saw the boy alone, craning his neck to watch the clouds pass by and mumbling something under his breath with a childlike smile.
The fire ninja opened his mouth to greet the boy when a flash of dark green entered Kai’s vision. Someone else had beaten him to the kid, already striking up a conversation that caused Lloyd’s smile to widen. Although a bit annoyed, Kai was undeterred as he walked up to the two of them.
“Hey there, name’s Kai. I’m new around here.” The spiky haired brunette casually leaned against the rock, aiming for a “yeah, I’m the cool kind of bad boy” vibe. Lloyd’s head tilted in curiosity while the boy beside him sent a deadly glare in Kai’s direction. Before Kai could even try to smooth over the hostile air that was surrounding the three, the kid with a green streak through his black hair turned to Lloyd and said,
“I got some candy in our dorm room. You better grab a few pieces before I eat the rest of it tonight.” With wide eyes, the blond leapt off of the rock, not even looking back at the two as he called out,
“Bye Morro! Bye Kai!” The moment Lloyd was out of view, Kai scowled at Morro, who was wearing a smug smirk on his face.
“What in the world was that for? I just wanted to talk to him-”
“Listen up,” Morro’s grin quickly dropped as he met Kai’s eyes. “I know what your kind are like, alright? I know what your trying to do and it’s not gonna happen, buddy. Let go of whatever scheme you and your friends made involving Lloyd.” The fire ninja clenched a fist at his side. What was wrong with this guy? Morro spun on his heel and headed off in the direction Lloyd ran in. Kai crossed his arms, hoping his glare would burn a hole into the back of Morro’s head.
“Jerk…” He muttered under his breath. At least he knew he was right about the kid being Lloyd, but the whole interaction still felt like a failure. Suddenly, Kai felt air itself shove him from behind, making him fall onto his back, similar to a cartoon character slipping on a banana. His breath escaped from inside of him, leaving him gasping for a moment before finally catching himself. It wasn’t something he could prove, but Kai had a gut feeling Morro had something to do with it. With a frustrated groan, Kai covered his face with his hands, slightly tugging at the bits of hair in front of his face.
Aside from more brief failed attempts at talking to Lloyd, all of which involved Morro directing both the conversation and the kid somewhere else, Kai’s second interaction with the master of wind had been during Master Chen’s Improv battle simulator class. His teacher was straight up weird, wearing silky, long red and purple robes, as well as some sort of strange makeup around his eyes (something seemingly straight out of Dareth’s cosmetics class) That day, kids were randomly drawn from slips of paper inside a serpentine skull (don’t ask Kai how that was allowed, especially with two of his other teachers being snakes) and told to attack each other in a one versus one fight. “Fair” didn’t seem to exist within the vocabulary of his teacher, who watched with an unnerving, wide grin when a ten year old had been pinned to fight against a sixteen year old. Kai grimaced, trying his best to look away from most of the fights, since many ended in at least one of the kids bleeding. Cole and Jay were also in the same period as Kai for this class, and for a moment he felt relief that he wasn’t the only one looking away from the unnecessary violence taking place. That was until a shrill voice cooed behind Kai,
“Ohh, poor things. You three not used to how Darkley’s functions yet?” The red ninja had to stop himself from wincing as he turned around to face his teacher, who wore an expression of fake sympathy on his face. Kai bowed slightly, speaking for the three as he said,
“No, but we’ll learn, Master.” It felt wrong to address someone like Chen with such a title, especially when putting the man side by side with someone like Sensei Wu. Kai heard Jay whisper behind him,
“Oh, I think I’m gonna throw up…” Kai sent a glare back at his friend, whose attention had gone back to the current fight. Cole coughed loudly, bumping Jay with his shoulder to direct his attention back to Master Chen. It was no use. With a gleam in his eyes, Master Chen clapped his hands loudly and announced.
“Alright, that’s enough, I’m bored. New competitors!” The ten year old let out a sigh of relief as his older opponent growled in frustration, both returning to the crowd of thirty-some kids. Master Chen laid a hand on Kai’s shoulder, immediately setting off alarms in the fire ninja’s head. He couldn’t help his shoulders tensing up, but the ninja managed to keep himself from recoiling away from the unwanted touch.
“Since your friend here has an odd stomach ache, perhaps showing him the worst he’ll have to see will get him used to my teachings.” Kai scoffed at the last word when Chen made his way over to the snake skull. He reached through the eye sockets stuffed with paper and withdrew a piece, keeping it tucked away in his fist for a moment. With a wicked grin, he motioned to Kai and, with a booming voice, said, “Up first, we have Kai Smith. Newcomer and weakling when it comes to viewing what’s necessary to become a successful future overlord.” Jay sent a nervous glance at Kai as he passed his friends to enter the center of the combat ring, which only had fellow students as its boundary line.
“Sorry,” Jay whispered, as Cole sighed, the latter shaking his head and sliding his headphones over his ears. Kai shrugged, quickly replying,
“It was bound to happen soon in this class, anyway...” The fire ninja couldn’t keep his nervous smile on his face for long as he waited to see who his opponent would be. His stomach dropped when Master Chen announced after reading off of the slip of paper, “Versus…Morro, elemental master of wind!” The dread that had overcome Kai quickly transformed into anger when he realized he had been right about Morro causing him to fall. The latter entered the circle nonchalantly, letting out an audible sigh and rolling his eyes.
“And here I thought class was actually gonna to be interesting today…” He grumbled, his words getting under Kai’s skin immediately as a few kids let out hesitant laughs. Whispers about Morro “wiping out the new kid” began to surface. The fire ninja felt his body temperature rising as his hands grew warmer and warmer. Over the angry buzzing in his ears, Kai could just barely hear Cole call out his name. His friend mouthed “no powers” with a sharp look. Right. The ninja were undercover after all. With a huff, Kai forced himself to calm down, the heat in his hands dying out. Was this really the extent of his patience? A few taunting words and Kai was sparking up flames? He had to remember what the goal was. Keep Lloyd safe, expose this school to the public eye. Neither of those would be an easy feat if he showed his elemental power to the villainous teachers at Darkley’s.
With a sharp exhale through his nose, Kai threw a glare in Morro’s direction, who stared right back, relaxed and unfazed. His hands kept to his pants pockets as Chen explained, “No physical weapons this round! You never know when you might find yourself disarmed. And remember, only one can remain! START!!” Kai balled his fits, lifting them in the air while taking a more offensive stance. Sensei Wu had taught the ninja how to fight without their powers. It was what they had first learned before even realizing they had any. But Wu also said that they had begun relying too heavily on them. Kai wished that hadn’t been the case as Morro swiftly dodged his blow, narrowing his eyes. With a huff of frustration, Kai made another swing in the kid’s direction. Morro ducked, hair whipping in the air as he did so. The red ninja felt a sense of uneasiness when the master of wind smirked and whispered so only Kai could hear him, “Now it’s my turn.”
The brunette barely avoided a kick meant to sweep his legs out from underneath him. With a flip backwards, Kai landed near the ground, both arms and legs bent, now at eye level with Morro. Two could play this dance of dodging and weaving. With a grunt, Morro landed a punch at Kai’s shoulder. Gritting his teeth, Kai stopped himself from grabbing the area which would certainly leave a bruise by the next morning. Yeesh, this kid didn’t like holding back. Whatever. Kai’s powers may have been off the table, but surely that didn’t include spinjitzu, right? You didn’t need to be an elemental master to learn that art of combat. Biting his tongue to keep from saying “ninja go”, a silly catchphrase he and his friends had come up with during training, Kai spun around and hit his target face on. When the red ninja had balanced himself again, he was pleased to find Morro had been knocked down and was looking up at Kai with a bewildered expression etching his face. He almost felt pride (almost) when praise from Master Chen reached his ears.
“Oooo, a master of spinjitzu? Haven’t seen one of those in awhile! Do it again!” Kai chuckled before retorting to his opponent,
“Not as easy as you thought it would be, huh?” With a growl, Morro made a gust of wind swirl in the palm of his hands before sending the flying current into Kai’s chest. The fire ninja let out a “oof” while managing to stay on his feet. Morro had gotten up by now, and continued to send quick poofs of wind in Kai’s direction, each hitting him almost as hard as Morro had punched him earlier. Finally dodging one of his assailant’s attacks, Kai looked to Chen and pointed at his attacker, “Hey, he’s using his wind! You said no weapons.” Chen threw himself back into a swivel chair that used to sit behind his desk, smiling lazily at the distressed student. What seemed to be dark, dead snakes hanging around Chen’s shoulders flopped around as he did so.
“I said no physical weapons, master of spinjitzu. His wind and your spinny tornado don’t fit into that box. Now fight.” Kai frowned as a confident grin made its way onto Morro’s face. The red ninja gulped, despite hearing encouraging words from Cole on the sidelines,
“It doesn’t matter that he’s got powers. Come on, it’s just like our training. You’ve got this.” Despite his friend meaning well, Kai was very bitter over that last part after the battle was finished.
Kai winced, letting out an upset grunt as the master of earth pressed an icepack against the back of the red ninja’s head. Cole’s music could be heard slightly as his headphones hung around his neck. Crickets chirped outside the dark dorm window before Zane shut it, muffling the noise and the heat coming from outside.
“Okay, so you lost one fight, big deal,” Cole shrugged, trying to keep the mood light. Girls weren’t allowed in the guys’ dorm, so Nya couldn’t see Kai at the moment and Jay apparently had an important “business transaction” with some of the other kids at school (whatever in the world thatmeant), so it was just Kai, Cole and Zane gathered in the first two’s room. The black ninja shuffled on the bed he and Kai were sitting on so as to meet the latter’s eyes. “There’s always next time. And besides, you were up against an elemental master. I’d hardly call that fight fair when you couldn’t use your fire.” Kai sighed, holding a second ice pack up to his cheekbone.
“Yeah, but Chen was right. Morro doesn’t know spinjitzu, but I do. That should’ve been something, but I still lost. How am I supposed to knock some sense into him about letting us talk to Lloyd when he knocks me down first?” Zane sat down with his back straight up on the bed where Cole usually slept, right across from Kai. An inquisitive look passed over his face as he tilted his head and asked, “You fought him to talk to Lloyd?”
“Well, yes and no,” Kai grumbled, flopping backwards. He let out an annoyed “ow” when his head hit the wall. Pushing himself back up, he sighed. “ I mean, I had to fight him for class, but I still would’ve liked proving a point by winning. And now he’s gonna hold that over my head whenever I even look in Lloyd’s direction.” He shook his head, looking at the ground. “Sensei Wu’s gonna be disappointed when he hears none of us could even speak with Lloyd.” Cole and Zane said at the same time,
“That’s not true-”
“I’ve spoken with Lloyd.” Cole mirrored Kai’s shock as both ninja looked at Zane. The former asked the question both of them were wondering.
“What do you mean by that? You found him alone? Away from Morro?” Zane shrugged, oblivious to their confusion.
“More like he found me alone. I’d say we had quite the lovely conversation, after he tripped me that is.” For a moment, nobody said anything. Zane raised an eyebrow, “You haven’t had time to talk with him yet? What about Jay and Nya?”
“Zane, why didn’t you tell us this?!” Kai practically exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air and dropping the icepack which he had been holding.
“You didn’t ask…” Now it was Zane’s turn to look confused. Cole and Kai slowly turned to look at each other before they both let out a hearty laugh. Kai grinned so wide his face hurt,
“So it’s not impossible! Okay, okay we actually have a chance against Morro!” His arms flopped down as Zane asked quietly, “Against Morro? Isn’t he just another student attending this school? Why do you see him as a threat?” Kai let out another laugh before all three heard Jay’s shrill voice shout out in the hallway outside their dorm room, “I’M RICH!!!”
Five seconds later, the blue ninja timidly stuck his head in through the doorway, only opening the door a smidge. His voice had dropped back down to a quieter, calmer octave as he stated, “Hey Zane, it’s almost curfew. We should probably get back in our room.” The ice ninja nodded, joining Jay in the hallway and carefully shutting the door. There was a moment of calm before Kai got up with his grin still plastered against his face while opening up the window. Cole raised an eyebrow as the fire ninja stuck a leg outside, beginning to climb onto the roof right above the first floor dorm rooms.
“Didn’t you hear? It’s almost curfew.” Kai shrugged, fully out of the window by then. He winked at the earth ninja. “Gotta tell Nya the news, cover for me will ya? Gonna throw pebbles at her window till she opens up.” Cole sighed, a small smile on his face as Kai slipped away into the darkness. He took off his headphones and laid on his bed, music now playing full blast from his pocket radio instead.
Author Note:
Morro: When I first met you, I thought you were weird and annoying. Kai: And? Morro: And you are.
Also, Jay’s “business transaction” is not a one time thing lol. Will be explored more in a different oneshot

The season 4 anon here. Just want to confirm a few things about your au cuz i think im cooking up smth in my brain about the scenario i gave you
Ok so first of all, i know Lloyd will stay a kid in this one thnks to your previous posts on this. So im assuming Nya will take his place in the tournament ? Like. She is the one competing instead of the child ? If so does this mean the infiltration crew will be the Chimera parents while Wu and Misako stay back in the city with Lloyd ?
Second of all. The other elemental masters are still the same right ? Or are there any oc additions ?
Third. Zane in general. No change to his plotline and how the ninja find out he is alive and in the island right ? But if so can you describe a bit ?
And lastly. Not really a question about the tournament. I just want to know what the Chimera parents opnions on the likes of Overlord/Crystal King, Morro or even Chen are. (Im just asking this because there are some villains with sooooooo many parallels potentials to the LMK's Rogue's gallery like Harumi.)
Before you ask. Yes. I might be writting something with the angsty prompt i given you last ask :)))))))) Google docs sure is a good friend in times like this.
So to begin, I love the idea of Nya being an active participant in the tournament. Even though she still technically operating as Dragon X at this point, in this au she did grow up actively using her water powers so why wouldn’t Chen invite her to participate? After Kai runs away from home, Nya joins her parent’s attempts to track him down. It isn’t until she teams up with Lloyd that she finally finds Kai participating in the underground fighting rings- although she doesn’t get the chance to tell on her idiot brother in between the Ninjas reunion at Chen’s noodles, the subsequent ambush, and invitation to the tournament of elements. And thought of going back home is forgotten in favor of finding out if Zane is alive.
Lloyd also receives an invite to the tournament as the green ninja (because you can’t tell me Chen wouldn’t bat an eye at a bunch full grown warriors trying to fight a child) but the Ninja and Garmadon ban him from participating, which is unfair! He’s just as much as part of this team as everyone else! Not to mention, he fought the overlord so he can totally win this thing- except everyone refuses to budge on their stance. Leaving Lloyd with no choice but to stow away on the ship to Chen’s island. Needless to say, his father and the Ninja aren’t pleased once they realized what he’s done. As for Chimera, they’re already up in arms when they realize they aren’t just missing one kid but two. So once they hear from Wu that Lloyd is also missing, well, they’re on a war path and on a special mission to infiltrate Chen’s island. Fortunately, Red’s past as a villain means they got connections to sneak in.
For your second point, yes! As it currently stands the elemental masters are still the same (Ray and Maya even still exist, they just aren’t related to Kai and Nya) and Zane’s backstory is unchanged, although he starts to piece together theirs something a little… off about his past a bit earlier in a canon after Mei fails to find anything about him in his background check in the aftermath of them meeting Chimera for the first time. Red had his suspicions too, especially seeing how Zane interacted with the bull clones but you can’t exactly ask your kids if you can crack their new friend open to see if he’s made of bolts and wires- at least not without getting yelled at.
As for Chimera’s opinion on the Ninja’s rouge gallery, it feels like every other week an old enemy of Wu’s is coming out of the woodworks and quite frankly it’s starting to feel a little ridiculous. At the very least, MK and Mei considers it a nice change of pace from having to constantly fight Monkey King’s recycled villains (and exes).
That said, the only villains Chimera really has a connection with from the Ninja’s rouge gallery are Chen- because Pigsy is locked in a one sided rivalry with the chain restaurant, constantly complaining about how they “don’t cook from the heart”- and the Time Twins, who commissioned a pre-redemption arc Red Son to work on some weapons and armor for their Vermillion army. Although once the others villains start trying to hurt their family, all bets are off the table. Especially when it comes to the overlord and Morro. Morro possessing Lloyd was personal.
Thanks for the ask anon!

==✦CONTINUATION✦==
Part 1- (Lloyd, Kai, Nya, Jay, Cole, Zane)
This is the continuation for my spirit ninjago au (yeah the au doesn't have a proper name yet so I'm just sticking with that) there may be a third part Idk yet, I'm trying to expand a lot but keep my line of thought straight, expecially since I've been playing honkai star rail my imagination as been going on getting a lot of inspiration with that, mostly the paths system the thing is it may not make sence in a timeline because of dates, and honestly I do want to follow that since It makes some sense but I'll see.
==❤︎CHARACTER INFORMATION❤︎==
Skylor Chen Smith
Age- 1000+ (ghost) Died at 96 Height: 5'8½ (1,74m) Status: Kai's wife
A never ending hardworker, Skylor is a dedicated person, even with all that has happened in her life she moves on, "don't let the chains of the past hold you back" is her biggest quote. She still worked at Chen's Noodle House keeping the legacy even after everything, Kai helped even if not has much as she would have liked, but I guess thats a them problem. She is now residing in the cursed realm, the realm of the evil and dead, unfortunately for her the good deeds she practiced were in vain, and even worst for her, her father and clouse were also in the cursed realm, shall she have the pacience to deal with both of them, especially after it got to them that she married one of the ninja, Kai, the worst one in their eyes. Kai visits her in the cursed realm, mostly to hangout and sometimes is able to drag her out of that realm and spend sometimes in the living world.

Morro Wu
Age- 1000+ (ghost) Died in his 20's Height: 6'4 (1,93m)
The people call him "the ashamed" as all that proceeds him as been the shame in his previous actions, a anti-hero. He stills remembers the day he was given a third and/or even fourth chance at redemption, he was in the cursed realm, sulking and poving his power the both new and old ghosts, when Lloyd appered in front of him, he had his arm extanded to him waiting for Morro to take it, Morro was mad but he had to let go at some point, right? So he did, and after a danger in Ninjago that even the Ninja had been spread a little too tin to deal with, Morro joined the battle, but due to him being a little rusty Lloyd gave him a bit of his power, with that the battle was won; to Morro's suprise Lloyd never toke the power back and instead insisted that Morro joined the Ninja becoming the 7th ninja. The rest of the team wasn't too pleased with this, but even soo, who are they to question Lloyd's decision…
==꒷꒦︶︶꒷︶︶꒦꒦︶︶꒷꒦==
Garmadon
Age- 2000+ (ghost) Died in his 1000's Height (Before death) : 7'3 (2,21m) Height (After death) : 6'4 (1,93m) Status: Misako's husband and Lloyd's father
A tarnished name for sure, all that he has are distante memories of his horrible actions; being separated in two halfs after being revived is sure to bring conflict; one remained in the cursed realm, mostly wandering around, missing his family to no end, and the other was destroying anything that could be considered family. When the half in the living realm died, in came the extended influx of memories that didn't belong to him but at the same time did, he didn't know what to make of it the harm and despair he caused after long having accepted what he had done before- it was too much. But in the depths of that new memory… he could only smile; after everything died down and the living Garmadon stayed alongside Lloyd- the father and son moments he had only dreamed of ever being true had become reality, the laughter and genuine love he felt coming from and with his son, made him the happiest man in the cursed realm; after all he was givin a couple 100 years by his families side until he finally passed away, he made sure every moment counted. Even his marrige had healed to some degree. Now, in the present, Garmadon makes sure to have frequent visits to Lloyd, even if Morro is his only way there, the routine is quite fine for the both of them, Garmadon gets to visit his son and Morro always prefered the quiet atmosphere of the island, where the monestary is currently on. And truth be told, Garmadon, for sure, has given both Morro and Harumi a good death stare for the things they have done to his son, reasonably so.
==꒷꒦︶︶꒷︶︶꒦꒦︶︶꒷꒦==
Harumi
Age- 1000+ (ghost) Died in her 30's Height: 5'11 (1,80m)
Harumi, often refered as the "wicked princess", in the living she owns a place in the new and improved "hall of villains", while in the dead she continuasly has an aura around her, even if she emitted regret in her past life, now she was surrounded by people who only sang praises about what she accomplished; after all now the people around her were as morally deranged as she was, if not even more. Unfortunatly for her, or fortunatly for the speck of regret she still holds, Morro had long been made aware of what she has done and due to him having to show that he has some moral grounds to be able to continue have the amount of power he was given, he keeps tabs on her and reminds her that she is supposed to be upset at all the praise. And to the new Garmadon she encountered in the cursed realms? A lot of mixed feelings for sure, either way, Morro just makes sure Harumi doesn't get to close.
==✿ADDITIONAL INFORMATION✿==
Skylor and Kai often just walk around Ninjago and think about the past, very old people style; The others tend to comment on their behavior but their stupidity just gets ignored not a whole lot can bring this woman's confidence down.
Kai was very self-conscious about his old lookin' self, Skylor would just make this man's ego go through the roof at times.
Morro, Garmadon have been living in the same home for a while, Harumi just kinda made herself at home, already knowing Morro from a previous prison visit from Lloyd, and just didn't bother giving a reason to why she was there, and Morro just ended up so feed up with kicking her out everytime that he just gave up.
Lloyd has Garmadon's, Misako's and Wu's graves at the end of the backward, beautifully siting under a weeping, tree very well taken care of. Garmadon often wonders if his body is really there or if it's just a memorial (he doesn't really want to check or ask Lloyd about it).
Many attempts at Morro's life have been made, mostly coming from Nya and Kai (water doesn't kill him persay but it sure hurts a whole lot), Jay just annoys him at any moment given, Cole and Zane give him side glances and try not to be hostile, and Lloyd well, his relationship with him has for sure gotten better, time can often heal wounds left by past actions; they often help eachother without much complain, and if there is, it mostly comes from Morro pretending to be upset.
Morro often pretends to despise Lloyd but he does actually care for him; Lloyd is very aware of Morro's true feelings thanks to the power connecting them both, so he just disregards the behavior.
Morro uses Lloyd as a human shield /aff, most of the times he's just possession Lloyd and hanging around but not willing to interact.
Harumi had a redepction arc inside prison and Lloyd would visit occasionally, sometimes he would have Morro with him, that's how they knew eachother, first time they met tho, let's just say, they weren't all too friendly with eachother.
Yes, Harumi died inside the prison, how? Idk, someone didn't like her I guess.
I should mention that most of Ninjago citizens are completly aware of the Ninja's past, mostly due to Cloud Kingdom just releasing many books each with one of the ninja's story, and after years those books were re-written many times and it may have become a game of broken telephone.
That is also why, the people of Ninjago are to the full extent aware of the Harumi's actions, and let's just say Lloyd's die hard fans aren't too happy.

Finally making a proper list of my aus
Dark sorcerer Cole au (A met later au where Cole is kidnapped as a child and raised on Chen's island as his evil protege. The ninja come in ToE and drag him into their found family)
Ninjago but they have no morals au (The title is self explanatory. This is mostly a crack au)
Full Oni au (Cole is an oni who grew up in the first realm, and when the ninja come through they are forced to bring him along. After a while they bond, and he goes with them to Ninjago and joins the team. Lloyd and Nya have some objections to this)
Haunted Monastery (Wu adopts Cole, but due to unfortunate circumstances he dies and stays on as a ghost. Morro comes around in s5 to lecture Wu about replacing him)
Haunted Monastery: Cursed Edition (Instead of haunting the monastery, Cole ends up in the cursed realm with Morro. They enact their evil plan on Ninjago together in s5)
Bruiseshipping childhood friends au (Jay and Cole meet as kids. They become friends and lose contact. This is a fanfic series!!)
We're all dead here (except Lloyd) (Lloyd is a medium who can see ghosts. The rest of the ninja are ghosts who take care of him and are pretty much his only family. There are shenanigans and fluff)
Bad endings but also not au (The ninja from various timelines that ended in tragedy form the most dysfunctional group of not-ninja-but-also-not-not-ninja known to the First Master. They commit crimes and attempt murder on their multiverse counterparts)
Assassin au (Cole is an assassin for a nefarious organisation, sent to spy on the ninja. He accidentally gets attached to them and things go badly)
Resurrection au (Cole dies. Lilly takes offense to this and makes a deal with a demon to get him back)
Disappearance au (Lilly disappears when Cole is a kid, leaving behind an unsolved mystery. Fast forward ten years, and Cole is determined to solve it)
Ninjago x DC au (The ninja are meta vigilantes that protect Ninjago City. Wu is their weird mentor. The ninjago villains are their rogue galleries. Prior knowledge of the DCU is not required to understand this)

Good Morro x Evil Kai (likemthe Kai of season 4 but he's actually evil)
Ohhhh now that's a thought. Evil Kai and good Morro, I'm into it!
Let's say Kai still held the staff, that he helped Chen all the way through. Garmadon manages to banish himself and the Anacondrai warriors, but Kai isn't banished because he's still human (he wasn't given the mark of the Anacondrai, after all). When Morro makes his big entrance, the ninja are still powerless, and Kai is still fixated on Lloyd.
In this au, I think Morro has to be somewhat bad in order to still be from the Cursed Realm. That being said, I think that he wouldn't be as hung up over not being the green ninja, moreso the idea that his sensei thought he wasn't worth anything. He still wants to find the realm crystal, but Kai hears about this plan and decides to search for it himself. Thus starts the race to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master.
Now here's the thing - Kai's reached his full potential. Morro hasn't. Morro is still hung up on all he couldn't achieve while he was alive, and Kai? Well... Let's assume Kai still has Clouse's spell book. I'm sure he could use his staff to bring Morro back to life. He offers Morro the chance to join him, and Morro accepts - if only as a trick.
It's Morro who gets through to Kai, pointing out how foolish he's being, how the staff is corrupting him. It's Morro who destroys the staff, and frees him from the corruption. The ninja all get their powers back, but Kai collapses. The staff took so much energy from him, and he feels utterly guilty for what he's done. He tells Morro that even though he doesn't know him, he's grateful for him for freeing him, and protecting Lloyd.
Which helps Morro realize that Kai never needed to be the green ninja, and neither did he. Morro reaches his full potential.

Ninjago if the Overlord didn’t exist
My favorite pastime is overthinking random ninjago lore, so here we go to remove one character and watch the entire series fall apart!!
If the Overlord doesn’t exist then neither does the Great Devourer, thus Garmadon isn’t evil
This means Wu has no need to hide the Golden Weapons pre-series or to assemble the og ninja considering no one’s trying to steal them
Also if Garmadon wasn’t evil then he wouldn’t have gone to Chen, intercepted Wu’s love letter, and eventually married Misako, so Lloyd doesn’t exist
Season two as a whole doesn’t happen
Neither does season three
Chen still exists tho. Presumably the serpentine wars would still occur as they did more or less as they did in canon
However, since the ninja have had no reason to be brought together, they meet for the first time during the tournament of elements (assuming they all unlock their true potentials on their own at some point prior to this)
Chen’s plan doesn’t work because Lloyd didn’t exist to free the serpentine, so no Pythor to make the spell permenant
Since Garmadon didn’t go off to study under Chen, either Wu never took Morro in, or Morro was trained by both brothers. Either way, I imagine his story to have a softer end in this au
Regardless, Lloyd doesn’t exist so there’s not a green ninja (and probably not even a ninja team at all at this point), and even if Morro did die vengeful, he wouldn’t be out and about considering Chen’s army failed on their own and Garmadon didn’t have to open the portal to the Cursed Realm
Someone could still have found Nadakhan’s teapot and freed him, but he would’ve just got his crew back and then gone back to Djinnjago, minding his own business and moving on with his life considering s5 didn’t happen and Nya didn’t kill the Preeminent and Djinnjago didn’t fall as a consequence
Season seven still happens tho!! In the sense that the time twins are here and causing problems on purpose, at least. We still don’t have a ninja team tho. I propose that Wu still loses that fight against Acronix and the disturbances in time cause concern across ninjago, leading the elemental alliance (that still formed in s4 (with Nya instead of Lloyd) to come together to figure shit out. The plot still mostly happens but since none of them know Wu, no one finds him and he just kinda dies (or Garmadon comes to rescue him and then joins the elemental master sin order to get the time blade to save his brother). Uhhhhh stuff plays out mostly the same except Garmadon gets lost to the time stream instead of Wu maybe
None of the elemental masters really know or care about Garmadon so they say some nice words about his sacrifice and move on with their lives
Seasons eight and nine don’t happen for an abundance of reason (removal of Harumi’s origin story, Garmadon ever being evil, and the Great Devourer ever existing in the first place)
The Oni still cause problems on purpose tho, but without any active FSM family members, the gang just kinda suffers. Maybe the og4 learned about the tornado of creation at some point, maybe Wu’s around to tell them about it now, whatever, we’re gonna assume they figured something out and the world didn’t end
Ok, so the ninja team consists of Kai, Nya, Jay, Cole, Zane, and a revolving door of other elemental masters that pull up from time to time (I like to think Skylor and Karlof are permanent members, but that’s just me). The squad is minding their own business
Because they haven’t been a proper team that long, they don’t have the same burn out they do in canon, and thus never release Aspheera out of sheer boredom, thus season eleven doesn’t happen
Prime Empire my beloved, she remains almost entirely intact unless I’m just missing something
Season thirteen also still happens
The Island doesn’t because neither Wu nor Misako are characters that have much presence in this au
Seabound still happens I think
Crystallized does not (refer to title of this post)
DR still happens -ish (since Lloyd never existed, the details are a bit iffy, but all the major conflicts still occur besides that)
And that’s on me still being awake and brainrotting legos at 2am

Ok, little bit more about that Ninjago au.
Calling it Death of destiny au, and here are some things that happen without Cloud Kingdom messing around with people's lives trying to ensure the Overlord dies:
Kai and Nya don't keep Four Weapons like they did in cannon, so all of the stuff (including the map to the Golden Weapons) has been sold off, and after a brief stint on the streets in Ninjago City they're adopted by Dareth. The siblings supplement Dareths income with crime, using the aliases of 'Samurai X' and 'Flaming Shogun'
Lily is alive, and currently on a roll with Lou winning dance competitions. Cole is still going to Marty Oppenheimer's School, for ballet specifically, and he really likes it. He got the lead role in his classes performance
Zane discovered he wasn't human a few months after Dr Julien's death, which lead to an emotional breakdown that activated his powers, which him physically break down. He was found, and hauled to the Walkers junkyard, where he was found by Jay and is being slowly repaired by Jay and his parents
Skylor successfully escaped Chen's island, and works for the Garmadons. Lloyd thinks shes the coolest minion his parents have
The Serpentine escape their tombs, so Pythor isn't the last Anacondrai and all five tribes are running around. Some Serpentine are just trying to get by, not interested in any more conflict, others have joined the Garmadons, and others still are trying to do their own revenge against humanity plots
Wu has been trying to use his spirit smoke stuff for guidance, but without Cloud Kingdom ensuring the visions are laser focused on making the Green Ninja prophecy happen, he keeps seeing things from his future that aren't really important, like what he's going to be having for lunch in a month. He blames the Garm Fam for the spirit smoke going from giving him borderline clear instructions to vaguely hinting about a sandwich shop he's going to enjoy, which isn't wrong, even if none of them know it.

Au where Wu is just an @$$hole setting up these really elaborate "tests" to determine if the ninja would be able to save Ninjago during a genuine threat. He planned every season except for the serpentine getting released, skybound, anything involving harumi, that time they got in trouble with the cops, and the first time Zane died(the other times, he was in on it). Everything else is just "preparing" the ninja for when another situation like those *actually* happens. He planned several of them. He got Chen to invite the ninja to the ANNUAL tournament and play it up like this was the first time it ever happened, and then got all of the Em's that were there to join in, all because he was getting annoyed at how they were going behind his back on smaller things. He used the armour to summon Morro and convince him to get his queen to let him do what he did because he thought the ninja were getting too dependent on having Lloyd as their leader and stuff. He convinced Aspheera to hide in that tomb because he knew the ninja were on the way there and that they would likely open the door.

So, I have two ideas for the Oni Tommy Au.
Idea 1: Tommy is an Oni, and he went to the ninjago world when Lloyd was born, but he's an Oni so he takes time to age (just like Wu) so he wanders around ninjago trying to find a way to get back to his home (reason? I can't say, it would be a spoiler).
He then ends up being mistaken for an elemental master, and was invited by Chen, to the Tournament of Elements, and he thought that maybe there he would find information that would help him, and also because it would be good for him to be distracted a little. There, Lloyd ends up finding it strange when he meets Tommy, as he wears a mask the whole tournament, and he thinks he would be a good ally, but some of the ninjas and Garmadon, do not trust him.
Skipping to the end of this arc, after defeating Chen, Lloyd invites Tommy to join the ninjas, and Tommy accepts, from then on I have nothing to say, because I still don't know if this will be the main idea.
Idea 2: Tommy is an Oni, but in this idea, he came along with the other Onis when they invade Ninjago City, but Tommy, along with some other Onis (who will be Tommy's friends)didn't want to fight or conquer the city, so they escaped, going in random directions, the plan was for them to go in one direction and together, but there were complications, and they got separated.
Tommy was left alone, and used a human disguise (like Mystake/Mistake, I don't know the right way to spell her name). Only, in this idea (there will be in the other one too but this one is more focused) Morro comes back to life, and ends up trying to hide from the ninjas, and accidentally finds Tommy, and discovers that he is an Oni,but since the two didn't want to be found by the ninjas, they just wandered around, while looking for Tommy's other Oni friends, and become forced friends who hate each other but would die to protect the other one.
Well, I don't know which of the two ideas to choose, I thought and thought and instead of creating a single idea for Au, I made two and I still couldn't choose between the two, so I wanted you to help me choose, which of the two ideas do you think is better?

School has kept me from being able to fully focus on sitting down and writing (plus I've been more social) but I wanted to give a little update on my writing endeavors
NSM AU
The first one I wanna write is Curse of the Anacondrai. I wanna characterize Chen very specifically as just your very odd eccentric noodle man and Clouse is his shadier financials guy. Also his wife is going to be in this bc it's my AU and I get to choose the canon. Skylor is here too to help and provide me with fun character interactions.
I am unsure of how long I want it to be but I feel like 1-2 chapters should suffice, with one being an exposition and the other being solving the mystery. I am trying not to overcomplicate it in my head and keep it to the vision of very classic Scooby Doo mystery shows. The hardest thing to choreograph will probably be the normal visual gags esp the chase scenes. I wanna somehow give Cole and Jay the same goofy visuals that Shaggy and Scooby get but I don't have any SFX to work with
And I do know who's behind the mask ;)
Monster Living AU
"Thissss reeksss of cultural appropriation" <- Skales at some point he will be helping the Ninja
So I definitely want there to be a lot of these monster themed areas, the main one being Serpentine Square, which is the grandest endeavor built out near the (now destroyed) City of Ouroborus. I also want Oni, Sea Monster, Skeleton, and Ghost themed areas. I have an idea for the conflict but I'm not sure how it will be resolved. Kruncha and Knuckle are definitely living in the Skeleton one.
I'm also trying to figure out how the ninja get wrapped into this, with part of me almost wondering if someone reaches out to them to sponsor or promote the villages and when they go to visit alarm bells start ringing.
Patty Keys will be making an appearance as the real estate agent helping people move in and buy these hot new properties
Finally, I'm debating on if this place should be marketed more towards the "Monster Adults" of Ninjago (probably alt kids in their 20s-30s) or more towards families. The branding of MMAP kinda gives more kid friendly vibes but also the aesthetic is very alt core and the main conflict might work better with that vibe going on.
God AU
This is just self-indulgent. What if when EMs die they ascended? That's this AU and it's just the EMs immortal lives in a cloud kingdom (not the one from the show). This is the only AU so far I'm definitely including my OCs in although they'll probably make guest appearances in the others
Some thoughts I've had so far include
* Lloyd and Luna rule over the Light and Dark parts, also acting as Order and Chaos. Each has a team of EMs who fulfill similar duties in each realm
* Jasmine is called "The Alchemist" and is part of Luna's realm. She has this castle dungeon lab of sorts where she basically does unethical experimentation and occasionally goes to visit Nya on the beach at night
* The previous generation of EMs are there and enjoy causing havoc bc they do not have to be responsible. Lily and Duke host concerts every morning to herald the sunrise
* Kyle, Jonathan, PIXAL, Ronin, and all other mortal, non EMs who were family, aids, friends, or lovers get to join the party when they die too. Jonathan is Jasmine's kind of assistant and is pretty jaded after a Tragic Backstory. Kyle is like a page for the entire light realm and spends a lot of his free time with Jay
* Jackie and Lloyd wife and husband ruling this kingdom and basically having to keep their friends from petty, world ending squabbles, that is all

Worth it
(Lloyd joined Chen AU)
Lloyd stood in front of the mirror, staring at his own reflection. If it wasn't for the fact that he, of course, knew how mirrors worked, he would've probably never figured it was him.
The person staring back at him was so different. So distant. A stranger.
His once bright eyes were dull and tired. His teasing smirk had long been washed away and back was the shell of a person he used to be. Not even Lloyd Garmadon. Just the green ninja.
He wasn't exactly what he would've imagined him to be. The green ninja was supposed to be strong. He was supposed to protect everyone. And yet he had failed to do just that. He blinked rapidly as his eyes began to sting. Biting his lip, to keep the sob from escaping.
He tightened his grip around the sink. He hadn't been strong enough. He had failed. And because of him, they had lost Zane. He took in a shaky breath, closing his eyes and trying to remind himself that everything would be alright.
Everything would be fine. He had the chance to change it. He could change it. He had to. For Zane and for the others.
Lloyd had screwed up, but- he could still change things. Chen had given him that change.
He opened his eyes and was yet again faced with his own reflection. He took one last breath before turning around to leave. As he was walking out the door, he couldn't help but look back. He caught a quick glimpse of his new tattoo. It was a promise to Chen. A promise of loyalty, but to Lloyd it meant something completely different. It meant a new chance.
The tattoo itself didn't really matter much to him. If it wasn't for the pain on his shoulder he would probably forget that it was even there. He stopped up and thought for a short moment about how his dad would react.
Lloyd had been shocked to learn that his dad already knew Chen, and it was a bit worrying that his dad had warned him that Chen wasn't to trust, but then again. Lloyd had to do this. Even if it would have some bad consequences for him in the end, it would be worth it as long as he saved Zane. He had to get him back.
No matter what. Lloyd went to look for his hairbrush. He'd have to meet with Chen in twenty minutes. Chen wanted more information about the others, mostly Nya, but also Kai. Apparently Chen had a high interest for the Smith siblings.
He had already sent Lloyd to talk with Nya once and break the news to her about her elemental powers. She had been shocked and rightfully so.
She had tried to talk with him. Ask him what was going on, but he couldn't tell her. He had to keep up the facade and play whatever sick game Chen wanted him to play.
It wasn't that bad yet, but- where was that damn hairbrush?- it was quite hard to play so cold towards someone he would usually consider his friends. Or well, someone who used to be his friends.
They hadn't talked after what happened to Zane. He had tried reaching out once. It had taken everything in him. He had felt so guilty for even thinking that he was allowed to try after what he did, or rather failed to do. It was supposed to be him. He knew it and so did they. They never responded to his message.
His dad had tried to tell him to just give them time. He said that no one blamed Lloyd, but Lloyd knew different. Everyone blamed Lloyd. Especially himself.
Of course they blamed him. Because it was his fault. He hadn't stepped up when he had to and Zane had paid the prize.
Lloyd had to remember that whenever keeping up the act got hard. Whenever he wanted to cry he had to remember that he had to do this for Zane, even if it meant for himself to die a little or even completely. After all, he was already supposed to have done so by now.
No matter what getting Zane back home to the others would cost, it would be worth it.
It would be worth it.
And there was the damn hairbrush.
____________
Gaaaah I hope you like it!!! I really enjoyed writing this and I'm so excited to share it with you guys!
Let me know what you think? Constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated.
