💎 Happiest Birthday! 💗 I'm wearing pink, of course, in your honor today. I think about you every single day. I can feel your hands on mine; the softest I have felt before~outside of a newborn babe's. You still come through to me (how grateful I am!), one of my greatest teachers in this life. You even come through to my friends -and anyone!- who asks your guidance. You taught me to be in touch with my heart. With the light inside of me. I could tell you anything, anything at all, and I never felt judged by you- even if you didn't agree with me. Always offering me alternatives to my views to understand and be the best woman I can be. How to make a situation right for everyone involved. All of the awful trials that life threw at you, you took them, became stronger and set unconditional love across every space you entered, small or vast. You touched spirits, not only hearts. You healed with your love and knowing you love me makes me stronger when I am at my weakest. You were my favourite human being. My best friend. I desire so very much to talk to you as a true, grown adult. I do in my own way, and your love supersedes the sadness of you having transcended, but man do I tell anyone whose grandparents are living to suck up each moment like a sponge! Ask your questions! Ask their memories. I love to interview people and ask *real* questions about their lives, their motives, what truly drives them in their passions. My grandmother and I shared so many special times when I would record her voice and take notes as she would recount her childhood, her life struggles, her fun times, her greatest adventures, her love stories... every moment is so precious. I treasure these memories and having her voice to replay.
