Rough female hands braided your hair with the tenderness of a mother. You never thought you would attract the attention of a real Saint.

Your parents told you about her when you were younger...and when your parents were still alive.

A ray of hope, Saint of the Emperor himself. No one was worthy of her, including you, but it's better not to say this in front of her. The last time you said something like that, she scolded you and you didn't want to upset her.

You sat quietly while Celestine braided your hair, until you had a quiet moment without people swarming around the Living Saint with numerous prayers and requests for blessings or advice.

But you couldn't complain about it, after all, it was you who had the honor of being almost always next to her, and not them.

You also couldn't complain much, since Celestine constantly reminded you that you had no one left except her and you couldn't argue with that.

Sometimes. Just for a second. You felt like something was wrong. Everything around you was wrong and strange, like a dream, a play in the theater.

But every time doubts devoured you, hands always appeared. Loving. Calloused. Motherly.

And covered in blood.

Celestine!!!

A little gargoyle girl that was rescued by the commandos. After a mission in France, the commandos find Celestine in the ruins of the cathedral of they destroyed during a fight. They take her in and she grows very attached to the Commandos so Walker allows them to take her back to the States.

And for context, since the Commandos don’t seem to be working for a shorter sentence like Task Force X, I feel like they work for better accommodations so at this rate they’ve worked up to small heavily guarded and monitored apartments. So Celestine stays with Nina since she’s the most qualified to take care of a child and is fluent in French, but later on, Bride gets to move in with them.

(Also if you guys have tips on drawing her hair that’d be epic cuz she’s supposed to have 3c hair, but I feel like I only know how to do 4a - 4c curls or just wavy hair with no in between ;-; I feel like I did an ok job, but it just doesn’t look consistent. I’m all ears to what yall have to say!)

Take my all time favorite RDR2 oc who I primarily focus on, Celestine

(Celestine lore under the cut. Possible game spoilers? Mostly locations and common knowledge stuff)

Celestine Reasslin is this scrappy, scrawny, awful kid, who's a petty outlaw with probably a bounty of 50 dollars on her at the start before she got into the gang. Petty thief trying to make her own ends meet, those ends being becoming a trumpet player and performing on stage. She's also a French immigrant, her mother moved to be with her husband. They moved to blackwater.

Already living an awful family life, being a rancher during the morning hours and a thief the rest, she's always worried her parents were going to sell her trumpet.

After a while she ended up accidentally robbing Arthur and Hosea in a bar without either of them noticing to much. Though whe Arthur did notice Hosea and him both had a hunch the street urchin who's satchel seemed rather full as a prime suspect... and they were right- but Hosea found it rather impressive. So Celestine was brought in the gang.
