#SacredSunday Lack keeps you contained, afraid, limited... A lesson of abundance I was reminded of yesterday, is to get out and touch the things you want. Surround yourself with people, places and things you desire. Put your hands on it, go walk through it if you can. One of the meditation techniques that I always find useful is visualizing what it smells, tastes, looks, sounds like.. You gotta experience it in your mind first to create the vision of your reality. Notes to Self (2.11.15)

1. Whatever words I place behind the phrase, "I am" hold extra weight energetically. Whether I say them aloud or within myself, these expressions are coming to life moment-by-moment.

2. An inner mantra of always being able to "begin again," is powerful. It is life changing. We may always, always begin again. With ourselves and with others we have the opportunity to make amends and give things another go. 

3. A 10 Minute Morning Meditation opens pathways to deeper Inner Listening. Stepping forth after the silence (or even after the observance of many, many thoughts coming and going) allows for a different kind of day—a day with greater pause, a day in which we may intermingle with the Divine.

4. It matters greatly what we put into our bodies. Studying the ingredients in what we eat and listening to what really fuels allows us to make better decisions about food. These choices also contribute to our ability to balance our emotions and respond to others with loving kindness. Less sugar and less caffeine = less roller coaster of emotions.

5. I love my kitty, Autumn—who is nuzzling me now as I write this—and my two dear boys and my husband and lemon ginger tea.

Just one bite

Here is one of those small pinched bowls with one of my favorite school glazes called ‘Light Pumpkin’. I find those toasty edges of clay that meet the outline of the glaze of highly alluring. Found this gem among all the things my wonderful friend was able to bring me. Due to the world happenings and having all public facilities closed, our school ceramic studio remains closed today. Luckily they allowed a pick-up day for students to retrieve their materials/works from school. Unable to attend, my friend @a.vasfie not only called me to ask if I would like for her to bring me some of my items while she was gathering hers, she decided to wrap up ALL my things up and bring them to me. Blessed with wonderful friends around. Now awaiting for the weekend to pick up some bisque fired pieces and get the next batch of work ready. Infusing diligence into updating more about my work here, thank you to all who take the time to read.
