Love the living with 8 vampires series so much that I reread it ❤️ Not sure if you answered this before, but how they all became vampires? Like how Yunho mentioned being bit by Hongjoong--was that a long time ago? And Mingi met Seonghwa at a social event--are they both born vampires?

Thank youuu! 🥹🖤💜 I never expected to get asked questions about details like that haha but yes it was a long time ago! I know in part 1 it was stated that they’ve been vampires since the mid 1800s, so they’re all centuries old. As for the part about meeting at a social gathering, it was in reference to all of them, or at least most of them. Some were already acquainted and others weren’t, but were introduced that night. I actually haven’t decided if I’m going to write their meeting story into the series yet, so in case I do, I don’t wanna spoil it

I’m actually still figuring out details like what year they were turned, how they were turned, etc. I’ve already decided on who turned who, just not HOW it was done and who’s a pureblood and who’s not. For this series, I don’t really plan it out, I just sorta make things up as I go and decide where to add things depending on if the setting is fitting. However, I do plan to incorporate each member’s “turning story” into future parts since I did Yunho’s already

I think someone should just throw all of the BG3 companions into Dungeon of the Mad Mage. Just take the post-canon generally considered "good" endings and throw em in there.

Why? Because it would be hilarious to me and also that's like the one official module that goes up to level 20.

That’s a very interesting scenario! At first they’d be jealous that Y/n brought home another vampire because they’re supposed to be the only vampires in her life. Naturally, she’ll assure them that her friend is just a friend and not to worry. (more under the cut)

• Seonghwa is posh and doesn’t understand the more modern trends so he’d ask lots of questions like: “It is not Hallows Eve. Why are you in costume?” and “Why do you wear that makeup?” and “Do you apply that every day?”

• He would make comments about your friend’s “peculiar footwear” because they’re in chunky boots with lots of buckles

• You’d have to explain that your friend dresses like that all the time and that it’s a style choice

• “And you wear this in public?” Seonghwa gestured to your friend’s all-black ensemble.

• “Yes.”

• “Do people stare?”

• “All the time.”

• “People stare at us too!” Wooyoung would cut in.

• They would bond over dressing strangely and being stared at in public lol

• Hongjoong might be similar to Seonghwa. He’s a little confused and listens to every word as your friend explains why they dress the way they do and whatnot. He’s always up for learning new things about modern times, so he would be listening intently!

• Yunho would be excited and would be so giddy to meet another vampire, especially one that isn’t from the 1800s like they all are

• Yeosang (sweet lil boy) would watch quietly with round eyes, nodding along, asking a few questions every so often

• I think Mingi might be really intrigued with the goth friend’s style! Bright eyes full of curiosity and compliments like, “I like your boots.” and “Where did you get your rings?”

• Jongho kinda knows the trends and has done well to keep up with the times so he’s not too startled by your friend’s appearance, but he’s very interested in hearing about what their life is like

• All of them would be curious to know if their habits are similar to your friend’s because they don’t usually come across “newer” more “modern” vampires and want to know if things have changed throughout the years

• They’d be shocked to find out most vampires try and live normal human lives because all they’ve known is staying cooped up in their mansion and slinking around the woods at night

• Wooyoung and San would come up to you after your friend leaves and say, “Maybe you should start dressing like that. It would be hot.”

• “Yeah, you’d look hot as a goth mo—“

• “No!” You shouted and cut Wooyoung off by smacking his arm. “Where did you learn that?!”

• “What was he gonna say?” Yeosang blinked confusedly, almost innocently.

• “You don’t need to know.”

• “I’ll tell you.” Jongho grinned.

• “Don’t you dare corrupt him.” You glared at Jongho, covering Yeosang’s ears who stood there with a blank look on his face, just happy to have you touching him. (and Jongho eventually told Yeosang while you weren’t around)

• San and Wooyoung get threatened with garlic water after that

Anyway he’s gonna date Wyll and be angsty about it which is on-brand for him, and will again (attempt to) be much nicer than he appears

And now, I'm just here thinking about him eventually accepting this curse of immortality that he has received. i mean this in the nicest way possible but can we stop being quite so dramatic and angsty about the othering nature of being transgender. i mean i get the feeling and it sucks but personally it makes me want to hit people not write poetry about how im digging myself out of a grave or im basically a cryptid or whatever. all power to you if that's what you like but i am sick of it. i find being transgender is pretty cool once you get past the part where it sucks and is awful. for example i don't hate how my face looks or how my voice sounds anymore. and being sad about how i used to not like how my face looked or how my voice sounds is not fun for me. idk. to be fair posts about how being trans is some inherently healing spiritual experience also annoy me. im just transing my gender it's nothin special.

Well she mostly just needs to like. Still be alive by the time Lestat leaves New Orleans sdjkfhka you cannot believe how much math I had to do to make it all work out okay. I deadass have a year by year timeline 🙃 I am not built for such things.
