How it feels to not like timebomb after s2

#I'M NOT A HATER I SWEAR I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKE IT ON PAPER #i do however think that it came literally out of nowhere and was hella rushed and kinda ridiculous #like. if the argument is that original ekko fell in love with jinx it doesn't make sense because they were enemies for most of their lives #if the argument is that current ekko fell in love with au powder and now projects these feelings on jinx it's kinda uh. messed up #because she's a whole different person. entirely. it doesn't matter if both these version started out as a 9-year old powder. they had #extremely different lives and experiences and thinking that “there's still this kind of powder in jinx deep down” is straight-up awful #OR even if he didn't project his feelings for powder on jinx why would he love her in the current universe? last time they met she blew them #up and now she wants to commit suicide. there's literally no reason for him to have any kind of feelings except the slight friendly #affection that's left from all those years ago. and yet the show and most importantly the fandom treats them like a couple??? i don't get it #also it's kinda insane that s2 turned jinx and ekko into flat shipping material #again. obviously i have nothing against the shippers and do not condemn it in any way. i'm just expressing my thoughts on the matter #also what pisses me off the most. is how in ep9 jinx in fully painted with ekko's symbols here and there. has the bandage (?) on her chest #like vi. has a hood that looks like a drawing that isha made. and yet there's no fishbones or any reference to silco at all #i mean. i get it s2 hates him but i can't help it #they gave her all these relationships and pretended that they're significant to her and yet they didn't have any proper development #to really earn it #arcane critical #arcane season 2 #anti timebomb #jinx arcane #ekko arcane

.... if Sevika dies, I want it to be her choice. if she dies, I want it to be for Jinx, Isha, and Zaun. I want it to be her protecting Jinx, because she can't lose both girls so close together. I want it to be for Jinx so she can lead Zaun. to be for Isha, so her sacrifice wasn't made in vain. I want it to be for herself, getting to finally be at peace, knowing that someone will be around to fight for and lead Zaun in a way she believes in so deeply, she was willing to die for it.

I don't want her to die in tragedy. I don't want her to die because she has to. I don't want her to die because it's expected of her. I want her death to be her own, much like Isha's was. because she's earned that but of autonomy. for her family. not for a boss. not as cannon fodder in a war. but because she believes in it. let her have that.

#this is how I'm coping #I can't change whats to to come #and hoping for the best is too scary #I want her to live. but if I can't have that. The no hextech timeline proves silko right One of my big issues with the alternate timeline stuff is that we're shown a better zaun, a better way, how things Could have gone And the only Real Reason for said change we're given is Vi dying Vi dies=no hextech=no/less oppression somehow??? Sure no hextech would cause extreme changes in the timeline but it would not make the rich suddenly develop empathy and change laws n whatever To me, the only logical explanation here would be that there was a riot. Vis death being a spark that lit a fire in Vander again. Vi dies in jayces apartment. This causes the rest of the kids to stay there, to shocked to leave before the enforcers arrive(we see this happen) and the enforcers, after getting over the initial shock of the whole thing, then arrested the kids. When news reaches Vander it shows him that no matter how much he grovels for piltovers scraps of peace there will never be Real peace without a fight. He cannot meaningfully protect his family in a system that punishes them for existing, no matter how hard he tries. He now Agrees with silko, they need to fight back, he has to get his kids back. He has to make a better future for them. This is the only way I could realistically see them reconciling And I feel it's the only way there could be this big of a change in such a short time, a few years is Nothing in politics, the rich will fight you every step of the way when you try and change the status quo. The only way they would have gotten those changes is by denying piltover the ability to say no to them.

#it just pissed me off that were shown this happy au something that gives ekko a hope for a better future #but theyre so scared of having actual Opinions on politics that they couldnt show us How they reached a better future #it just happened Shrug #extra annoying when the founder of the city itself is just chilling there living his best life avoiding consequences #after having failed zaun for so many years #like huh u wanna stay here in this nicer better version of reality instead of dealing with the mess tthat ur partially responsible for??#im not hating on heimerdinger btw i think this aspect of his character is really interesting #i just wish it was done intentionally n actually explored #(semi related: he does not seem to care at all/acknowledge that if he stays he is like... stealing his universes heimerdingers life???)#anyway for my other beef with the no hextech au u can check out my previous post like n subscribe B)#arcane critical #arcane #arcane spoilers #arcane criticism
