The beauty of yoga is that one can do it anytime and anywhere. Furthermore, nowadays, more than ever, yoga enthusiasts are being offered plenty of options for maintaining their routines on the road. Many hotels too, are offering classes or in-room equipment to make the practice easier.

Knowing what daily actions need to be burnt, and what needs to be ignited, will be the difference between wanting to live a certain life, and living that life. Here's the June edition of what's going out vs coming in...
BURNING
Gossiping voice notes, spending the day on the phone back and forth with friends/family who are stuck.
Excessive screen time via Netflix binges (Bridgeton - yes you!), and window shopping online.
Daily screen time in excess of 2.5 hrs
Overthinking decisions consuming my energy.
Poor diet organisation, last minute food shopping
Unstructured days
Oversleeping
Getting distracted by POTs
Messy apartment
IGNITING
Organising my day with my little notebook either the night before or first thing in the morning, including meal planning in advance
Fresh flowers and candles burning each night to create ambiance in the apartment.
Clean and organised home that is a reflection of the inner peace and clarity of the mind.
A weekly workout schedule that incorporates sweat and increased blood flow along with strength training.
Dedicated time in nature either weekly hiking or beach day
Less screen time (cut by 50%)
Daily prayers, meditation & gratitude with God
Waking up earlier to seize the day (aiming for 5.30am)
Outfit planning to avoid the stress of what to wear
Daily reading / studying nutrition
Consistent with hobbies (currently painting classes and learning Spanish)
Dedicated time daily on 'move the needle tasks' (currently completing my book).

140 days of productivity: day 82/140
Tumblr media Tumblr media
📸: first morning trying my new decaffeinated coffee and I hated it + some quiet meditation time at my bedroom after lunch
I love rain, but when it rains for four days straight, I start to get depressed. I didn't get a chance to go out and exercise because it rained non-stop all day. It got dark earlier than it should have and I realized that I never want to live in a place where there isn't plenty of sunlight.
My day started very early, at dawn, because I couldn't go back to sleep after a nightmare. I said my prayers, lit my incense, meditated and finished reading The Reminders by Val Emmich. The book is cute and I liked it. Now that I finally understand that the original title is related to the band that the protagonists wanted to create, I see that the translation of the title into my language was terrible and lost its meaning.
I thought about going to the library to return my books and get new ones, but there was so much work and it rained so much that I ended up staying home. I talked to several leads in the morning and in the afternoon I prepared some social media content. In my free time I journaled and attended two online classes of my philosophy course. In the evening I went to my yoga practice and, since my books were finished, I studied a little more before going to sleep.
🥀: day 22/27
💧: 1 L
🧠: meditation (15 min)
🧘🏻‍♀️: yoga practice (50 min)
🏃🏻‍♀️: 🚫

📚: finished the reminders by Val emmich

I wish to give and serve by strengthening affiliation with Am Yisrael’s tribalhood and to elevate faith, hope and Oneness among our communities. I believe in gatherings that incorporate Judaica hands-on arts & crafts enrichment activities that promote communal bonding and ease uncertainty, fear, confused feelings and loss of meaning. Through engaging actively, participants will find a heavenly solace that whispers to the innermost depths of the Jewish soul.
Art gathering events are a delightful opportunity for community members to immerse in a sense of enduring peace that envelopes the spirit with purity, grace and providence rooted in holiness, symbolism and Biblical prayers scripted in the Torah. guide to happiness 🌷🥰
Tumblr media
- understand what I'd making you unhappy. are you unsatisfied with your job? relationships? diets? look deep. is it your diet or is it the way food you eat makes you feel physically or emotionally? if it's you job or is it the field your in the schedule you have?
- find a way to organize your life. whether thats an online source like notion or a physical copy like a bullet journal. this will help you know when you are needed. maybe medical or hair appointment. I like to use mine for keeping track of chores and meal plans.
- drink plenty of water. water is just a great way for you to stay healthy. drinking water is listed because dehydration can cause depression-like symptoms, or at the very least, can cause discomfort to your body.
- eat a balanced diet. along the same lines as the water, think about your diet. sit with your body, reflect on how it feels. I find that when i have headache it's usually due to lack of proteins because that is a good i struggle to eat. it is important to not stress over the details of macros and what-not. eat what you want, but try to give your body the nutrients you need because you deserve a healthy body.
- make time for yourself. i can not say enough I how important I think it is to be alone with yourself. I think it can be so healing and relaxing. making time for yourself can be paired with multitasking, like while doing your skincare or reading a book.
- say positive affirmations. looking back at that first tip of identifying what makes you unhappy and finding affirmations that can target the areas in your life that you are not satisfied with. I like to repeat these as a way to go to sleep (like counting sheep almost) and when I'm able to in the mirror as well. that can be difficult for those who deal with dysmorphia or dysphoria, so don't push yourself too far if you aren't ready <3
- incorporate daily movement. this is so important for me, especially since I have a lot of joint issues. i begun doing daily yoga, which has helped with my knee pain, and my boyfriend does it with my occasionally for his back pain. my body is not yet in the state for higher intensity workouts, but I'm interested in eventually joining a pilates class (in my 3 year goals <3)
- journal. whether about your mental state or just what you did throughout the day. this is such a great way to just slow down and enjoy life. I find myself constantly rushing trying to get the most out of my day, so journalling at the end of the night helps me calm down and reflect on what I did throughout the day and appreciate myself for what I had done (even if it was just lounging because resting is good <3) but I also find this helpful when I am overwhelmed with emotions to stop mentally going in circle and slow done and understand myself and the situation.
- daily skincare routine. this is a great way to help yourself feel refreshed. as a morning person this helps me feel fresh and ready for the day and as part of my night routine, which I have to do early in the evening because i get vv sleepy and struggle to do it otherwise, helps me slow down for the night and prepare foe the next morning and it serves as a form of active meditation.
- set realistic goals. this can be difficult because we want to set goals that are parts of our dream lives, and that's not to say you can never get your dream life, but there's steps you have to take to get there, you can't just leap into it, so setting realistic goals can serve as motivation for getting there. but have these goals you are more likely to succeed.
- never give up. this goes back to the previous realistic goals, having these realistic goals it can help you stay motivated to not give up, but not giving up is still hard. your motivation can't be exclusively outside yourself. find something within yourself that can be your reason for staying on top of your goals, your reason for getting up when you don't want to.
- work hard. every day, you need to choose it, and that is exhausting, but working hard can include resting. giving up is only half of the equation you need to add hard work. I think the best equation for your dream life is (M(W+P)=dream life) M representing manifestation, W representing working hard and P representing perseverance <3

Astro Cartography: Crossing Chiron/Uranus
This is the astro.com description for me when I click on Paris with no harmonious or disharmonious aspects checked! I noticed recently that the people I learn occult things and healing practices from are mostly French natives who live in/are from Paris specifically!
Tumblr media
It really has been about trying unusual concepts! I took a candle class from this French healer online and learned all about the different herbs and things I could use and spiritual protections and also meditation techniques, I learned a lot of 8H astro stuff from a French astrologer’s tweets and she also helped me figure out the French archives to get my mom’s real birth certificate, I also get these astro oils from a French astrologer who makes materia, and I got attuned to reiki from a French reiki teacher! And these are all things that I learned to better connect to my own intuition and these things have helped me relay messages to people around me which can be cool but sometimes a little scary lol one of the main things has been strengthening my prophetic dreams and the other day I had a dream my bestie was crying and turns out she was irl and just hadn’t said anything 😭😩 I also had a dream about my friend having a baby boy and she got pregnant two years later and gave birth to a boy on the day that I had the dream lol
It makes a lot of sense for me with my Chiron in my 8H and my Uranus in my 11H! Learning occult and healing things through the internet! My mom was born in France and she lived there for a bit with her parents and siblings but that was ages before I was even conceived and I’ve never been there myself lol so it’s really cool to me that I ended up having a kind of spiritual connection to people that are from there. I didn’t seek these people out either and didn’t even know they were French at first! Now I kind of want to visit and see what it’s like lol

They say mercrury is in retrograde. I feel it whether or not it means anything. Life has been incredibly difficult these last few months. My parents came into town in september and that was lovely. Right before that I had started meditating regularly which was giving my mind freedom ad peace. Not long after however, I've been dealing with gossip and harassment/abuse of power from my manager and it's been an ongoing thourough investigation at this point. I've also been dealing with a difficult unsatisfying relationship with my partner whom ive been living with for a little under a year. It's been basically sex-less for 4-5 months---with the occasional short f*ck. Our schedules have been opposite mostly, and the truth of our sexualities being incompatible has been showing. I've felt neglected when it comes to receiving pleasure, and it really sucks. Especially when sex is a strong love language of mine. That, along with wanting to leave Portland so I can build a better life economically and be closer to my parents who are across the country.....it's all a lot and it's all just sad. Especially since we have a cat who loves me, and my partner has a kid who I love. After practicing polyamory for a good 8 years, I have decided a more traditional mogomous relationship is something I'm starting to want. That is more clear to me being 121 days sober. My partner also is not sober and doesn't want to be. Weve been together for a little over 4 years total with a year off in between. Our values are different. I'm a lot more spiritual and want to grow in life. I can't do that much in this city. They're stuck by custody contract in portland. Being almost 31, dealing with a flurry of chronic health issues, I'm realizing my ability to reproduce has a time limit, and it's getting closer and closer to that time each day. I never wanted kids in the past, but I know i've always been great with kids and when i envision my future, a more satisfactory and heart filled future has children of my own in it, whether they be adopted or birthed. One or two. I don't see kids with this partner in my future though. And it's sad. At my current state, I lack resources to move out, unless I were to room with complete strangers. I'm saving saving saving. And first thing I'm saving for is a car, as I've been without one for almost two years now.
There are resources where my parents live, but that is all the way in Tennessee. It's so damn far. I've accumulated things from living on my own. I'm working on letting go of attachment to them, but it's challenging. There is so much grief in me. Grief for the loss of friendships and family, due to deaths, and my own choices made when i was in a state of survival mode during my time stripping.
Stripping took years from me. It reinforced my eating disorder, and disordered ways of being in general. I was raped once, and sexually assaulted basically every shift, but....I had money. Lots of it. Then I decided I needed to get out, and it went quick. I'm a working class citizen again. I am certified to teach yoga, but there's not really any market that feels worth it in my soul. Id have to teach online and work at a lot of places for the same wage I make now, and put my body though a lot.
Inflation is through the roof. It's hard right now. I'm surviving right now, and trying my best to get myself places.
Sobriety has left me feeling lonely-----but i am at least grateful to have community at my climbing gym. I crave more intimacy. Raw, honest, passionate intimacy. I'll get there. I've been told I'm a fighter and I'm strong. I have been crying a lot lately. Nothing is permanent. I've been through hell. I'll probably go through more. But I will get through it, and I'm grateful to have the parents I have. That's all for now. I haven't journaled in a while. Sometimes it's on paper, today it felt more right to do it here. Sending love and strength to all who need it today <3 Nameste
