HOLY HELL. ok listen i need to talk about this one because I resorted to bassoonposting just to take the edge off of the insanity that is DEMON GATES.

Demon Gates features the following time signatures: 2/2, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 7/4, 8/4, 12/4, 9.5/4, 17/8, 23/16, 24/16, and 25/16.

Time signature is sorta subjective when you don't have official sheet music, but I'm confident about most of these measurements. The big exception being the 9.5/4, which could vary by plus or minus one eighth of a beat depending on my analysis of four different in-game recordings of the same track. It marks the transition from phase 1 to phase 2, so it might be a dynamic thing. I stuck with 9.5/4 because it's badass lol.

With 25 hours of total work time, this was by far the most challenging music project I've ever done, and it was a blast!!! I hope you all enjoy!

today was a really good dayyy. i slept in to like 7:45am then went to work at the frame shop and everyone was in a good mood, we listened to christmas music and i really enjoyed the framing work i got to do :-) and the bosses got us gifts + we took a little company picture with the shop dog by the tree, which was really adorable!! after work i met up with max and we got to catch up a little and work on our collab book a little bit but it was mostly just nice to talk to a friend <3 i just made a kimchi mac+cheese which is really amazing and spicy and have been drinking a little wine and socializing with my sister + her bf + their friends who they have over rn it just has been a really nice day.. <3

i think what would be really important to me if i were to write a band au for anything ever is they cant be good or very successful. their gigs have got to be shitty theyre playing in welfares and half-packed student unions and community centres and villlage halls they manage to book one tour in a horrible van and its shit and the weathers shit and some people really do like them and they might get a few breaks here and there but they are not going to be rockstars it just cant be in the cards for them. chekhovs band for me if i introduce a band at the start of the thing they have to have failed and had sex with each other by the end of it

Sister Rosetta Tharpe (born Rosetta Nubin, March 20, 1915 – October 9, 1973) was an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. She gained popularity in the 1930s and 1940s with her gospel recordings, characterized by a unique mixture of spiritual lyrics and electric guitar.

She was the first great recording star of gospel music, and was among the first gospel musicians to appeal to rhythm and blues and rock and roll audiences, later being referred to as "the original soul sister" and "the Godmother of rock and roll".

She influenced early rock-and-roll musicians, including Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and also later guitarists, such as Eric Clapton.
