I love how I go against my family's norms, they always told me that a woman should shave because "it's not hygienic" while with my body hair I'm cleaner than them, I come from a family of hunters and I'm vegetarian and anti-hunting, they are homophobic and transphobic, I'm genderfluid and demisexual, luckily my mother didn't inherit their mentality, I love myself, I love the person I am, I love my body (even if sometimes it hurts me), I'm not perfect but I'm not a bad person, I make mistakes and that's normal, I live for myself

We as humans are taught from a VERY young age to please others. Make EVERYONE around us happy. But what happens to us!!! I have spent my ENTIRE life conforming to family, friends, employers, MEN!! Just to make THEM happy!! What has that done for me? Well, it made me complacent!! Made me question myself and my self worth. Made me wonder if ill EVER measure up!! Made me wonder who I am today. I dont want to be that person!! I want to be the sweet and caring person I naturally am, but fuck with the power to say NO!! FUCK NO!!! Im TIRED!! Tired of conforming for WHO!! I'll NEVER measure up to anyone!! And that's okay!! The only person in the world i Need to measure up to is MY MOTHER FUCKIN SELF!! Yes!!!
