Hello!! Cutting right to the chase here – I have attempted to create a Discord server for still-interested DSMP fans! It’s intended to be a chill, creatively-geared space for individuals who are (mostly) normal about these characters. It’s been a backburner project of mine for a little bit now, but I think I’ve gotten everything I’d like to have settled, settled, so I’m attempting to release it to the public!

The server offers a couple different things, to begin with. We’ve got:

Automatic and manual moderation

Pluralkit

Off-topic (general stuff) and on-topic (DSMP-centric) chats, separated into their own categories

Off-topic and on-topic art and writing channels

And a flexible variety of other channels, such as areas for discussing AUs, theories, headcanons, and character analysis!

Basically, just a place to hang out and chat about the DSMP -- because it may be 4 years old now, but by God, some of us are still kickin’!

Malachite first made his career in Zoraal Ja's army - chosen to serve the King of Resolve based on his aptitude scores and personality analysis. He might have made a good Arcadion contender instead, if he had more talent for showmanship, and had he come of age only a little earlier.

Possessed of the feral soul of a fearsome scalekin and the skill of Turali-style twinblades, he saw the world outside the dome in the brief and ill-fated invasion of Tuliyollal.

He doesn't care much to talk about it.

After Zoraal Ja's defeat at the top of Everkeep and Queen Sphene's demise, he patiently filed for reassignment as a hunter. With war's end comes a disarmament, after all, and it seemed a good application of his aptitudes while Alexandria recovered from the upheaval.

And maybe: a remote assignment is the best place to be forgotten.

He's not sure how much time he has left. The Levindrake, the Turali biast soul he carries in his regulator, and the learning and wielding of its power has begun to take just enough of a toll, and he suspects that if his own soul hasn't already started to erode from the strain, that it's just a matter of time before it does.

He would like to spend that time being of use before he is forgotten forever.

so. i was thinking. in generation loss, why was charlie given the moniker “The Villain”?

because ranboo and sneeg’s titles make sense: Ranboo “The Hero” was showfall’s hero, no problems there, and Sneeg “The Taken” was taken prisoner in the first episode, taken captive when he tried to escape the carousel in the episode two, and was taken for granted had his life taken permanently (maybe) in the finale.

however, Slimecicle “The Villain” feels like it only really applies to the first episode, with him playing the antagonist to the hero in the form of the slime demon. in the second and third episode, he didn’t really play a villain, just mega chet and then himself.

unless, of course, charlie slimecicle was labeled the villain because he was the one that got the hero killed in the end.

be it intentionally or not, at the start of the trail of dominoes that leads to ranboo being crucified, sits charlie. in a mockery of his streaming set up, oblivious to his surroundings, unaware of the horrors around him until our dear hero saved him. an act of kindness that gave the employees the time they needed to lock the doors and seal the exits. had ranboo not stopped for charlie, they would’ve made it out and been free, they would’ve lived.

instead, our hero wanted to save their friend and in turn they were strung up and slaughtered for their good deed.

and what kind of good person would lead their friend to getting killed? who would let such a cruel fate befall his own brother? no, that’s something only a villain would do

I always see these posts about Maedhros and Elwing, like yes both leap to their deaths clutching a Silmaril and I adore the foil allegories, but what of Maglor??

My tiktok feed has been playing that one fan Odysseus song, the "get in the water, or ill raise the tides so high all of Ithaca will die" song, and I cant help but just picture Maglor, at the ends of his rope, covered in Ambarussa's blood, the youngest son of Feanor again after spending an untold amount of time being the second oldest, just going still and deadly at Elwing

Hes no Luthien, no half Maia that can pluck at the threads of reality like one can a harp, but he is the best Singer of the Noldor, and depending on who you ask, of all of the First Born. One of the only Sons of Feanor with an affinity for water while the rest burn, but that doesn't mean he can't become a rolling boil.

Once the final breath of Ambarussa escapes their lungs, oh the Scream Maglor will have let go. Just as a drowning person will grasp at anything to keep them afloat, even to the point where they may drown their rescuer just to keep their head above the waves, Maglor’s scream PULLS

All the water surrounding this costal city would Lurch, would rush and flood and crash upon the city walls. The streets, already run red with blood, would become knee deep blood pools. These red rivers would part before him and his echoing dirge, his siren wailing, the bloody waves would lap at his feet with every step he would take up Elwing's tower.

He would corner her, eyes blazing with the same light that she clutches desperately to her chest, to her heart, and Maglor wouldn't care about the Jewel, he's already lost so much to it that if he held it himself he would just toss it into the waves anyways, let it sink to the black depths where it belongs.

No, Maglor would pin her on the balcony, block her exits so all she can see is the blood stained water seeping around his feet, inching towards her, and the furious roar and crash of the raging ocean behind. He would hum, a disarming little song, and the waves seem to surge upwards, reaching towards the tower balcony on beat. The spray of the waves would splatter across her back, would mist Maglor’s face, the salt of the ocean mixing with the salt of his tear stained face. He would look at her, dripping in water and blood, both of his brothers and his enemies, and he would sing one little line, a command more like.
