Consider an alternate universe (AU) where Danny is dragged along to a gala and introduced as Vlads heir. And instead of the classic meeting bat children, he meets a young Bruce Wayne.

The young Bruce is around 4ish and Danny makes quite the impression on him being the "cool older boy who can make snowflakes". Next thing he knows Danny is coming around the Manor 3 times a week to babysit Brucie.

They grow up together for 4 long years. Danny hanging out with Bruce and Galas and being an older brother figure for him. Until the fateful night of the Wayne family murder. Now there aren't any more galas and Alfred's busy taking care of things around the manor. Soon Bruce and Danny loose all forms of contact.

Skip to years later, when the Justice League summon the ghost king, intending to establish a peace treaty after a harsh scolding from contsintine and dr fate. And when Danny comes through the swirling green portal in full Ghost king regalia and swoops down and Hugs Batman. And when batman doesn't back away and proceeds to hug back.

LAST TIME, ON DND:

Little Snowflake (@the-stilting-peace's Tabaxi), Vesper (my drow), and Greenbeard (post-on-tumblr-already's deep gnome) are trapped in the room of ooze! Sniv, our beloved Kobold guide, gets his only braincell iced by the ooze monster, throwing him into death saving throws. Two saves, two losses.

Now, for some reason, the dice gods have cursed Little. She’s gotten more Nat 1s than any other party member. And guess what happened when she tried to stabilize Sniv? Yep. She would have just straight up killed him. BUT, she had inspiration (gotten by saving a life, ironically), but considering her insane bad luck with Nat 1s, we were all nervous it'd happen again. DM even said if it did, he'd make her Nat 1 curse an actual plot point in the story. But it was either use the inspo or have Sniv die. As she was rolling, Greenbeard and I were chanting "gatote!" ("big kitty" in Spanish) in the OOC chat, sending all our prayers to the dice gods.

She rolled, and it WASN'T a Nat 1! Instead it was a 9, meaning Sniv would have one more death saving throw on his turn.

BUT WAIT! I remembered Little had gotten a guidance bonus from her god the session before, so she could add a 1d4 for every skill check. Didn't matter what she rolled on the bonus, SNIV WOULD LIVE!!!!! We all went fucking insane in chat, it was AMAZING. Then after he was stabilized, Little stuffed him in her shirt, like he was a wad of cash, to continue fighting the ooze monster.

Can't quite beat when our 9 ft tall wolf-shifter druid was possessed by Goatman (another story), but it's up there. As for why this looks like a 2000s-esque abomination? Don't know, I'm just weird. Glad I didn't add the goo though.

(Hilariously, Sniv was supposed to die in one hit. DM didn't realize he misread the rules until the death saving throws were underway, so he went, "Meh, I'll allow it." Bless you, DM!)

SOMETHING SWEET — satoru gojo x gn!reader

by the time you turn around, it’s already too late - chocolate chips pour freely from the confines of their plastic bag, directly into the dough waiting below.

“satoru! that’s too many!” you scream, reaching out and latching onto his wrist.

but, of course, it’s no use - he just smiles, not even attempting to hide the sparkle of mischief behind it. “i thought you liked sweet things,” he winks, overpowering your grip to dump the last remaining chips into his palm before tossing them past his teeth.

with a groan, you shove his arm away. “i do - why else would i be dating you,” (that earns a chuckle), “but now it’s gonna be impossible to mix this, and we won’t even be able to shape them right.”

“it’s not really ‘shaping’ though, is it? i mean, aren’t they just going to be circles?”

through a pout, your gaze falls to the bowl below, now a multicolored mess, too thick to break with a spoon. “it’s stupid but…i was going to try and make it into a heart…for you.”

immediately, guilt strikes up his neck. this stupid prank was supposed to make you laugh, but with the way your lips tug downwards, he can’t help but curse himself for it. so, he does the one thing he can to try and fix it:

leaning forward, he grabs fistfuls of the chocolate chips and shovels them into his mouth until it’s puffed full.

the action is so sudden, a laugh escapes you. “satoru, what the hell are you doing?”

through over-stuffed cheeks, he shoots you his best attempt at a grin. “i’m fixing it!” he garbles. with a rough swallow, he manages all of the chocolate down his throat. “see, now there’s the perfect amount left!”

glancing to the mixing bowl, you find a much more acceptable ratio of dough, one that almost matches the recipe (although, to satoru’s credit, it’s still a bit heavy on the sweets, but you don’t mind).

with gentle hands he helps you shape the uncooked dough into a round little heart, and when it’s pulled from the oven, the smell of sugar and cocoa wafting from its warmth, he shares each bite with you.

I know its not canon but I always liked the idea that Flurry Heart grew up to be a normal pony. Never went on any princess-title-earning quest, no grand magical destiny, no real royal responsibilities. Just a normal pony (who happens to be an alicorn) free to enjoy life with her friends and hobbies
