I love journaling- especially when little! In this post, I'm going to detail how one might journal if they want to :3

Finding a Journal

This is obviously the most important part! Finding the right journal for you is very important. It depends on a lot of factors; are you out of the toybox? what materials do you plan on using? what's your budget?

i personally find that dollar stores have a lot of composition notebooks with cute patterns. those are your cheapest choice, unless you already have a notebook lying around. these are also easy to hide; they're inconspicuous and you can tell anyone who asks that its for school (if you're in school)

places like target and walmart have a lot more options for a little bit more money. those run about $5-10, depending on the quality

my parents know about my regression, so i have a very obvious journal. i also changed it up with fabric, ribbon, beads, colored paper, and more! The outside is entirely customized to what i wanted at the time.

some people can't have obvious little journals. in this case, i would recommend leaving the outside plain.

i won't be going over it here, but digital journals are also an option! im going to eventually make a notion template for a little journal.

Gathering Materials

Journaling is so much more fun with cool supplies! below is a list of materials you could use!

colored pencils

gel pens

stickers (bonus points for texture!!)

washi tape

colored paper

glitter/glitter glue

ribbon

pressed flowers/plants

sticky notes

felt

highlighters

newspaper

stamps

paint

anything else you have laying around that you wanna use!
