Okay okay hear me out.

Sukuna and reader visiting little brother Yuji at school for whatever reason.

I can imagine people would prob find Sukuna super scary and intimidating and try to move away from him but he doesn’t rlly mind it.

And imagine Sukuna carrying a tiny Yuji and playing around with him at the play ground oml 🤭🤭🤭

GAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHDDDDDD

There’s just this mammoth of a man, ducking through school hallways and bearing his teeth at anyone who dares look his way. He’s blanketed in tattoos, he’s in a tank and sweats, completely inappropriate attire for a guardian-teacher conference. But hey, it ain’t his fault his Ma couldn’t make it in.

In his ring clad left hand, is your right. In his bent right arm and perched on his hip, is Yuuji. You and Yuuji, naturally, are smiling and waving at everyone while Sukuna guides you both through the halls, and he looks like a ferocious beast barely able to be tamed enough to be there. People quite literally part the halls to let you all pass, and it makes you turn your head to him.

“Why is everyone looking at us?” You ask, he flicks his gaze down to you briefly before looking back down the hall.

“Because you’re too hot to not look at,” he says, and when you giggle and press a kiss to the back of his hand, he smirks.

Yuuji starts to squirm and paw outwards at a classroom, and inside a kind looking teacher waves, calling the three of you in.

The conference goes as planned, Yuuji is learning on track, not great with his alphabet yet but superb with counting, he gets along with all the kids but has one special friend named Fushiguro that he spends all his time with, and he’s just the happiest boy to be around in class.

“Nothing like you, huh babe?” You tease Sukuna, and he nods while the teacher laughs.

“Jokes on you,” he begins. “I’m great at the alphabet.”

After being dismissed, you once again walk through the halls of parted guardians before making your way outside, where Yuuji once again starts to paw at the playground. Sukuna rolls his eyes, “come on, ma’ll kill me if you’re late for nap time.”

“But!” Yuuji whines.

You coo at sukuna, “a few minutes won’t kill him. It’ll tucker him out even more, no?” You flash your own pair of puppy eyes at him, “please, sukuna?”

“Fuck, are you asking for you or for him?” He scoffs, passing you the small child. You two squeal and make your way to the playground, making a beeline for the slide. Yuuji eagerly climbs up the ladder while sukuna trails behind.

“Su’kna!” He calls to his brother. “Catch!”

“I’m not catching-“

He can’t finish his sentence before yuuji starts to slide down on his bottom, and you don’t think you’ve ever seen sukuna move so fast in your entire relationship, than to catch his little brother at the base of the slide to catch him in his big arms. The little boy giggles as he’s caught and hauled back into the air by his brother, “you’re a little troublemaker, you know that?”

Yuuji simply laughs as he squirms from his brothers grip and runs off, leaving you and sukuna to watch.

“He’s such a good boy,” you hum.

Sukuna wraps his arm around you, “he’s just okay.”

“Yeah, okay,” you snort, resting your head against him. He goes quiet, and you look up at him lovingly, “what’re you thinking about in that big melon head of yours?”

He glares down at you briefly before sighing and shaking his head, “he’s just… he’s so big.”

“I know,” you agree.

“And… I want him… to stay this way. Forever.” He chuckles, “don’t want him to grow up and one day be stuck with a brat like you.”

“I’m not a brat,” you scoff. But you turn your head up to him to press a kiss to his jawline, “but he’ll always be little, to you. And hey- if he does meet a brat, he knows you’ll be there to take care of him.”

He hums and watches as his brother climbs to the top of the jungle gym, calling Sukuna’s name proudly. “I gotta go make sure he doesn’t break his arm. Want to go to the truck?”

You chuckle and nod, “sure. I’ll see you both in a bit.”

i think this happens a lot actually and i think i touched on it a couple of times. sukuna gets hit on a lot, even with how intimidating he is. but he literally is so stone faced whenever girls talk to him that he doesn’t even realize that they are flirting with him. just blinks at them when they ask for his number and goes back to what he is doing (trying to remember which milk you like)

yuuji would simply blink up at them if it happened in his sights, head cocked to the side and says something on the lines of, “my brother doesn’t like talking to other girls. y/n wouldn’t like it either,” before pausing and frowning like the thought actually hurt him, “i don’t want her to be sad….” which usually sends the girl scampering off when he asks sukuna to walk him to where you were

it’s not really brought up to you because the boys don’t even process it as something even of minor importance lololol. both so infatuated by you that a another girl talking to sukuna just makes them confused.

although if it was the other way around, yuuji would be scampering over to sukuna, pawing at his shirt and asking him to scare off the guy. or he hugs at your leg and gives a glare that is too similar to his brothers, and says, “my brother is really, really mean and scary.” which makes you laugh awkwardly at the stranger

Woke up today to some wild jjk leaks and it turns out Gege is hitting that Hamlet type beat with some uncle-nephew drama with Sukuna and Yuuji? Like what?

By the gods Kenjaku really be messing with that family tree. And this still doesn't explain why Itadori Wasuke looks so much like Sukuna? Like with Jin and Yuuji it makes sense now...but what about grandpadori? Something must've been up with that family even before the Kenjaku and his shenanigans.

JJK Mermaid AU just sitting in my documents-- Yuuji centric!

Naturally, Yuuji is the pearl of his pod-- the most beautiful and strongest mer there. His tail is pink and shimmery, sparkling golden in the light-- but beyond appearances, it's also very powerful. He has mating requests coming in from all the different oceans and seas.

Much to the displeasure of his nine older killer whale mer brothers.

So they set up a system-- in order to even ask to court Yuuji, you have to fight and defeat all 9 brothers, starting from the youngest (Shooso) and ending with Choso. Only 4 mers have ever beaten all 9 brothers. Inumaki Toge, Okkotsu Yuuta, Ryoumen Sukuna and Gojo Satoru.

In Inumaki and Okkotsu's cases, they genuinely wanted to court Yuuji, but ended up meeting and falling in love with one another. (Inumaki took 3 tries to defeat all 9 brothers, while Okkotsu did it in 1). They'd show off for Yuuji and push themselves harder and harder upon seeing the other, until they reached a point where it wasn't about Yuuji anymore. They weren't even thinking of him (no hard feelings though!)

Inumaki's tail is white with navy blue markings down it, his fins are very fine and large, they appear to be wavy as well

Okkotsu's is white at his hips, but quickly fades into black. There are speckles of white decorating the topmost parts, and his fins tend to have white veins running through them

In Ryoumen Sukuna's case, he called Yuuji boring, which offended the brothers and caused them to challenge him. He fought all 9 and won. Yuuji ended up fighting him afterwards, and even though he lost he continues to fight Sukuna whenever they come across each other. Sukuna (though he'll never admit it) enjoys these matches.

Sukuna's tail is a thing of legends. He's a 10-tailed octopus, a bad omen for all those that lay eyes on him. They're a dark pink to match his hair, and have black markings to match those on his upper body.

In Gojo Satoru's case, he wanted to piss the brothers off. He'd heard of their strength, and how they were undefeated across all 7 seas, and thought 'lol I could take them'. Unfortunately, he could. He doesn't do anything with his courting privileges except swim in at random times to hang out with Yuuji and piss the brothers off.

Satoru's tail is pure, blinding white, with a bright blue iridescent sheen to it. The fins are long, wide and appear to be very thin, but there isn't a single scratch or tear on any of them, a pride point for fine-finned mers

There are mers who are allowed to talk to and interact with Yuuji despite not having defeated the brothers, of course. They're a trusted minority, and their ranks include:

Ieiri Shoko

She healed Yuuji when he was sick as a guppy, and treated Shooso and Tanso's wounds from their many fights. Her tail is a murky grey, and the very tips of it are black.

Kugisaki Nobara

Their pods travelled together for a while when they were younger, and they had great fun sparring together. She's his closest friend! Her tail is a classic green (the little mermaid hehe), though she dyes it in gold around her hips and at the veins and tips of her fins-- a modern, fashionable practice

Nanami Kento

Looked after guppy Yuuji after his grandfather passed and before his brothers discovered him, and greatly disapproves of Gojo Satoru, urging him to stop visiting Yuuji. A trusted ally on all fronts. His tail is white and heavily spotted in black. There are blue tinges by his hips, and some parts of his fins are torn

Haibara Yuu

Nanami's pair, who also looked after Yuuji! An honest mer with good intentions that they fully trust. His fins are slashed right through the middle, but he still maintains an excellent swimming speed. His tail is a classic dark blue, blending into darker waters easily

Yoshino Junpei

Despite his obvious interest in Yuuji, it's clear the mer doesn't have the courage or audacity to try to propose any kind of courtship. The brothers trust his cowardliness (they're very dramatic and rude). He's a glowing blue jellyfish mer, though some of his stingers are perpetually bright yellow with electricity

And now for the list of beaten mers, and who they were beaten by:

Mei Mei - Choso

Kamo Noritoshi jr - Shoso (5th eldest)

Todo Aoi - Choso (brutal fight)

Zenin Mai (forced by her clan to fight) - Shooso (2nd youngest)

Zenin Naoya - Eso

Juzo (curse user who wanted to make Gojo into a coat rack) - Sanso (7th eldest)

Haruta (made creepy comments, had to use all 6 miracles in his first fight, tried to run after. didn't work.) - Tanso (3rd youngest)

Toshihisa (one of the curse users who fought Kusakabe) - Tanso

Manami - Kotsu (6th eldest)

a LOT of unnamed mers, usually beaten by the youngest 4. Rarely does anyone ever get up to the eldest 4.

Some mers request to fight Choso straight from the beginning, and he'll honour that request if all his brothers consent to it, but he absolutely DETESTS those that do ask -- he feels that they're disrespecting his younger brothers by not fighting them, or that they don't think Yuuji is worth all the effort of fighting 9 brothers.

Tsukumo Yuki once challenged all the brothers at once, including Yuuji, to offer courtship to Choso. She won.

Now she trains with Yuuji so that if a potential suitor defeats all his brothers, they'll have the hardest time fighting him as well.

Her tail is black with an iridescent sheen of gold, and the tips of her scales are brown. It makes for an eye-catching look!

I keep thinking of flower shop worker Yuuta who can't help but admire plant mom reader who buys way too many new babies each month. He takes care of the flowers like they're his prized possession, but he's so humble whenever someone compliments him for the quality in his department. And when you accidentally bump into him holding a pot which falls to the tile floor with a loud shatter? It's like a scene out of a movie. Because for once, Yuta isn't fretting over the scattered petals, but is instead worried if you're cut by the glass.

I love found family older brother sukuna, toddler Yuji, and reader! I can totally see reader and Yuji doing face masks together for fun, and forcing sukuna to join, which he begrudgingly does and serectly enjoys it

“No. Not fucking happening.”

“Come onnnn!” You whine, shaking the face mask gently in excitement. “What doesn’t sound fun about watching Encanto, doing a face mask and eating grapes?”

“The whole watching Encanto, doing a face mask and eating grapes thing,” he grumbles. On the couch, yuuji moves to perch his elbows on the armrest and watch the interaction, the panda face mask on his cheeks cut slightly to fit his small jaw and head. Sukuna cocks a brow and pulls a face, “and they’re animal face masks? Fucking pass.”

You sigh softly, then you turn to his little brother and scoop him in your arms, and sukuna quirks a brow, “the fuck are you doing?”

“Ready yuuji?”

“Weady,” the child replies.

Sukuna now furrows his brows in annoyance, “don’t you fucking dare-“

It’s too late. You and his brother flash Sukuna, a man covered in tattoos and piercings and the worst vocabulary known to man, the biggest set of puppy eyes, pleading him to cave and spend the night with you both. He winces from the sheer force of your pouty eyes, unable to look away completely but desperately wanting to. “Don’t give me that look, freaks. It’s not going to work.”

“Pwease, ‘kuna?” Yuuji whimpers, and you blink up at him and jut out your lower lip. Sukuna feels himself crumbling, his reserve being demolished, and he groans and looks up to the sky, looking for patience.

“Yeah,” you whine. “Please, Sukuna?”

“For fucks sake, stop looking at me like that, I’ll fucking watch your stupid movie and do a damn mask, fuck,” he snarls, gripping the face mask from your hand and leaving you and yuuji to giggle and high five in victory. “I spoil the fuck out of you both, you know that right?”

“Yes,” you nod, leaning up to kiss his cheek. “I’m going to start the movie, you go put on your mask.”

The mask in question- printed into the animal of a frog- is slippery and cold, and sukuna gags as he slaps it on his face, grumbling at the sensation. He hears the beginning of the movie and makes his way back out to you and his brother, the latter sitting on your lap with a bowl of grapes between his legs. Sukuna sits next to you with a soft groan, his arm instinctively tossing around you.

When you burrow into his side, he can’t fight the smile that eases over his cheeks as he digs his hand into the bowl of grapes, feeding himself the handful and letting the serum of the face mask warm up on his cheeks.

“I’m glad you caved,” you whisper, and he hums back.

Secretly, although he’d rather stub his toe by force than say it, he’s glad he did, too.

My friends joked about Yuuji acting much more like a country bumpkin than Nobara despite both being from the countryside (prolly have sth to do with Yuuji's household seems to be more modest). Then I realized Choso is also a country bumpkin lmao how cute, when these two country bumpkins together I'd love to throw them to int'l airport for first class overseas flight to Dubai and see them being all jittery and excited over every little thing around them. It's their first airport and flight experience. Yuuji can't sit still on his seat, wants to see the cockpit, where the crews take rest and all, how the galleys and restrooms work etc. Choso keeps scolding him to be careful and stay on his seat, he looks calm outside but hands itching to push any button he sees and freaks out whenever the seat or partition moves, repeatedly calls the flight attendants accidentally and all that ahaahaha put Gojo into the mix being the crazy rich he is and keeps teasing fondly how hillbillies the brothers act and just watches amusedly from the side how those two annoy the fuck outta other passengers and flight crews while sneakily recording all of it on his smartphone for further blackmailing material

fuck or die scenario where yuuji needs to get fucked simultaneously by the people who share his blood, meaning choso and kenjaku have to deal with him. choso protests vehemently, refusing to let kenjaku lay a single finger on yuuji, but nonetheless giving in to the situation in the end, the alternative being losing yuuji. he whispers soft apologies into yuuji's skin as he makes his way behind him. meanwhile, kenjaku grins as they thumb yuuji's lips open to make their way inside the (quite reminiscent) warmth of his mouth
