Hello MCYTblr and all subtwts, I decided to make an MCYTtober prompt list for this year :D

I tried to make the prompts as generalisable as possible so hopefully many servers can feel included!

There is no wrong server for this list, so please enjoy MCYTtober :D

every once and a while i see empires (particularly s1) fics where Fwhip’s full name is “Fail Whip” (aka what his username actually stands for). i entirely understand why people do this HOWEVER. the implication that fwhip and gem’s parents named their children “gemini” and “FAIL”?????? funniest thing ever especially because no one ever questions it.

i just want to remind everybody that the only season gem has played in has been secret life. secret life, in which if you punched a player, they lost a heart from their healthbar, something valuable and incredibly difficult to re-obtain. punching somebody is an act of great disrespect and detestation.

so that wasn't just a punch. not with that context. no, that was was an act of pure, unadulterated hatred.

Imagine how increasingly anxious all the players become when a card is rolled and its effects arent immedietly obvious. That anxiety turning into sheer terror as th3 session goes on and they still can't figure out what the card is. Not trusting any feature of the game as anything could be the thing to betray them.

Scar sacrificed himself to Grian. It’s a courtesy. An apology for wrong doing. But he fights him fair and square in the end. He just loses.

Scott sacrifices himself for Pearl. It is admitting defeat. Rolling over on your back and letting the stronger wolf win. She kills four people and readies herself to kill again. He finishes himself off, saving her the trouble. It’s an apology, too, in a way.

Pearl sacrifices herself to Scar. It is inevitable. He does not want to win this way. She does not want to win at all, begs to not win. He does not realize she isn’t fighting to kill. He won when he killed Gem, when he brought Scott down to two hearts. Scott sacrifices himself to Gem. It doesn’t matter in the end. Pearl stares at the golden apple in her hotbat and doesn’t touch it. She gives him a fight. It’s a courtesy. It’s an apology for how wrong this is.

for ur artimator character, do they have long hair tied back like in the art on twt or is it short?

Usually I like to draw it long ! With lots of different but pretty easy to do quickly hairstyles

However ! I do not mind being drawn with shorter hair ^^

For example my woven life character has short hair, anything really is fine! As long as it keeps the two colors it’s good

Grr.. i love discussions about the normalization of bad things for teenagers/ kids, whether it be fictional or real. Esp as someone who has had that happen 2 me

And i think it's smth that's very prevalent in ctommy's story.

C!tommy is chaotic on his own, so in a way he already had violence somewhat normalized? And I think all these little things add up to how he later treats his relationships w others, and specifically what actions he's willing to let others get away with.

There are, ofc, Loads of things that later normalize violence even more (wars, all the conflicts in general). But in my opinion, one of the biggest things that normalizes violence that is Specifically Towards c!tommy, was the fight in the pit w c!techno. C!techno beat c!tommy to a pulp, all the while c!wilbur was cheering and egging him on in the back.

Then ofc exile rolls around, and c!dream literally hits him w an axe right in the first vod. But that's okay, it's not like violence is Unusual, right? He goes through that week not questioning every time c!dream hits him, only questioning why he has to give up his stuff (<- this is smth that's never really talked about when ppl discuss ctommy's sentimentality for objects ? When rewatching the exile vods, i genuinely don't think there was a moment where ctommy went "hey, why are u hitting me?" it was always just "hey, why are u taking the stuff that I worked hard for?").

And then he runs away but ends up living with Mr. " ''minor'' terrorism". Can you see how that really wouldn't be good for c!tommy? Then when they go to l'manburg, it Allll piles up and c!tommy ends up hurting c!fundy and c!connor.

I've seen ppl before say that they ignore this lore moment bc it doesn't make sense, but to me it makes So much sense? Ofc a teenager who is constantly and consistently surrounded by a violent environment/people is going to be influenced by it? Ntm ppl say that they love c!tommy bc he's an imperfect character, and is this not a big part of what makes him imperfect?

One of the biggest reasons Why c!tommy left c!techno was because he realized it was further normalizing violence. Because he realized that He didn't want to be violent anymore

C!tommy's talk with c!connor at the end of the community house destruction stream will always be So important to me

And a convo that's even More important to me, is the one w c!sapnap near the start of the doomsday stream, where c!tommy acknowledges that what he did was Bad, and that it was because of influence from the environment around him
