Nereus x Reader

(Y/n) shot Flora a withering look, not to be combated with Flora’s famous puppy eyes. But (Y/n) held her ground…For ten seconds.

“Fine! I’ll go to the stinking party!” (Y/n) caved, throwing her arms in the air.

Flora cheered, choosing to ignore (Y/n)’s next comment “Who knew that zooplankton migration was Andros’ version of summer solstice…” 

“I’m so glad you're coming! No one else can, other than Aisha. And I’ll get to show you off as the newest member of the winx club!” Flora said excitedly.

“And here I was hoping to have a quiet Saturday after all that Trix nonsense…” (Y/n) said grumbling, but couldn’t help the smile that shone through. “Well, at least it’ll be a fun Saturday with my BFF!” (Y/n) said, jumping into the excitement right along Flora.

“Right?! And I have the perfect outfits for us!” Gushed Flora.

“Oh, is it…?” (Y/n) said, hyping her best friend up. Pointing to a certain set of outfits in Flora’s closet.

“You guessed it! We’re splitting the co-ords!” Flora squeed. 

“YAAS! But I call dibs on using the top.” (Y/n) said, and grinned with mock cunning.

“Aww…so mean.” Flora said with false disappointment.

And that’s how the girls showed up to the party. (Y/n) wore a flutter sleeve tube top with a tropical floral pattern and a pair of white high-waisted shorts. While Flora was rocking a maxi skirt of the same pattern, with a slit to the mid-thigh and a black lettuce edge crop top. Aisha came swayed over to the girls,

“Well, well, don’t you look like a pair of baddies!” She said, hugging both girls. “So glad you guys came.”

Flora gave nothing but a smile, (Y/n) laughing “Like we would miss it! Plus Flora threw those puppy eyes at me… Can’t ever say no to that.”

The girls all laughed at (Y/n)s’ little joke. Aisha turned towards the moon pool in the center of her family's pavilion walking (Y/n) and Flora over to greet her cousins.

“You haven’t met my cousins yet have you (Y/n)?” Asked Aisha as they made their way over.

“Can’t say I have, I was in Linphea College during that whole ocean… fiasco.” (Y/n) said, shrugging. Waving her arms around a bit when mentioning the betrayal of Tritannus.

“Well you’ll get to meet them now!” Aisha said as the girls got to the pool, turning and gesturing to two of the mer-people within the moon pool “Hey guys! I know you know Flora, but we have a brand new member of the winx club! This is (Y/n).” She said, presenting (Y/n) to the merman and mermaid. (Y/n) smiled and gave a little wave. “(Y/n), these are my cousins Tressa, and Nereus!” Aisha said pointing to the mermaid, and merman respectively.

“OH! So you’re fishlips’ brother!” (Y/n) said before she could stop herself. Seeing Nereus and Tressas’ confused glances she continued “Sorry, little nickname I gave him during Flora and I’s talks. So sorry about that whole thing by the way, it must have been devastating for you three. I just wished he didn’t get pushed to that point, ya know?” (Y/n) said a bit melancholy.

Nereus gave a solemn nod in agreement. Her sentiments (and playful insult) instantly endeared (Y/n) to him.

Tressa decided to lighten the mood, “Ah, it’s all in the past now… Come on! the lantern plankton are about to arrive!” She said diving into the moon pool.

Aisha and Flora transforming into their sirenix forms and diving in after her, Nereus hesitated with (Y/n). Waiting patiently to follow after her.

“What’s the matter?” asked Nereus when (Y/n) made no moves to enter the moon pool.

“Would now be a bad time to mention that I don’t have any spells to help me breathe underwater?” (Y/n) said, gesturing towards the pool where her friends disappeared.

Nereus laughed, it was a little funny to see someone so confident get nervous so quickly. 

“Here, stay next to me. I think I’ve got something for that.” Nereus said gently, pulling (Y/n) into the water.

(Y/n) chose not to protest, even though her clothes were getting wet. She was curious to see what the ocean prince would do. Nereus gently placed his arm around (Y/n)'s waist, amazed at her immediate trust in him, wondering aloud.

“You trust quickly,” he said.

“Oh no I don’t! But Flora trusts you.” (Y/n) said her expression turning serious “Which means you're someone worth putting at least a little faith in.” (Y/n) said, instantly returning back to her lighthearted teasing.

Nereus felt his cheeks warm a bit at the statement. He wasn’t sure why, since most people he knew praised his good character. But hearing from (Y/n), who was such a bombastic and friendly person herself, made it feel like guppies were swimming around in his gut. Realizing that (Y/n) had been patiently waiting for him for a bit he hurriedly placed an underwater breathing spell on her. Tucking her to his side and swimming her into the open water. Which made (Y/n) realize something about the spell rather quickly…

“You jerk! Ya could’a told me that the spell keeps you dry!” said (Y/n) playfully, slapping Nereus on the arm.

“Oh, my apologies! I guess I don’t really consider these sorts of things…” Nereus said, cheeks flaming with embarrassment.

(Y/n) couldn’t help but laugh, covering her mouth trying to hide her smile. “Relax, I’m not actually mad. Now come on, take me to this plankton march… thing.” she said,

“The lantern zooplankton migration?” Nereus said, raising a playful quizzical eyebrow. 

He wasn’t used to people talking so relaxed with him, being a crown prince and all. But he was enjoying it. (Y/n) brought out a playful side to him that he hadn’t had since his brother's banishment.

(Y/n) just rolled her eyes with a laugh, allowing Nereus to swim her to the observation area. Meeting up with Aisha, Flora, and Tressa. They talked until the plankton appeared. It was a beautiful sight, it was like glowing living smoke. The colors shifted with the twists and turns of the zooplankton colony. Everyone was quiet with awe, the occasional sounds of wonder murmuring through the crowd at a particular color shift or swirl of the plankton.

Then something amazing happened, while the rest of the spectators with a large swath of the lantern plankton, a small arm of the colony meandered it’s way to (Y/n). Swirling around her (Y/n) reached out to them, playing with the little creatures pushing them to and fro. Nereus gazed at her, smitten. It was like an aquatic halo of multicolored light surrounded (Y/n), highlighting all her glorious features. Nereus could only equate what he was witnessing, to the magnetic beauty of a siren. Her light hearted genuine laughter was music to his ears. Nereus was bewitched by her, body and soul. Only the lantern plankton hurrying back to their migration was what returned him from his stupor. The tail end of the colony disappears into the ocean waters, causing the spectators to return to their homes.

The swim back to the party was a jovial one. Aisha gushed about (Y/n) and the lantern plankton, since it was something that no one had ever seen before. (Y/n) described how wonderful it felt to be amongst such amazing creatures. And it wasn’t until the trio of girls started making their good-byes that Nereus realized he might not see (Y/n) again for quite some time. It was now or never.

(Y/n) heard Nereus call her over, when got closer to him he waved her down to his level. However when (Y/n) leaned down, she felt lips on her cheek and heard a splash.

“Nereus! I’m so gonna get you back for that!”

the Cloud Tower headcanons

out of the three Magix schools, Cloud Tower has the biggest roster of scholarships and waived tuition fees.

witches are oft mischaracterised by the public. because they draw their power from strong, negative emotions, people incorrectly assume that witches must be either miserable, evil and/or drudging through a miserable existence. because of those biases, many talented young people never even pursue a witch’s education.

the Cloud Tower has been historically a very generous institution, hoping to draw in more students and combat those believes. Under Griffin’s leadership, the amount of given out scholarships is as big as ever and is specifically geared towards financially compromised students, or students in bad life situations. 

Every first year student at the Cloud Tower gets to choose a new name for themselves. It’s a ritual meant to symbolise rebirth; a way to let go of the past and embrace your new life.

of course, you’re not required to go by that name after the “initiation” - but that’s the name your coven siblings will remember you by.

in the last couple of decades, the idea of a self-sufficient, all-powerful witch became extremely popular. if before witches came in covens, nowadays, most prefer to do their bidding alone. this is why most Cloud Tower students are more versatile than fairies, but less powerful since they spread themselves thinner to try and learn a bit of everything.

in order to earn their enchantix, a fairy has to make a sacrifice to save a person from their homeland. in order to go through their final transformation, a witch has to prove their relentlessness and determination; willingness to achieve a goal by any means possible, at the expense of oneself.

the requirement for the final transformation is deliberately vague. it can be grandiose and self-destructive - a last stand, you, engulfed in blazing fire, shielding your friends with all that you’ve got - because worlds be damned, your loved ones are your first priorities. or it can be as uncomplicated as standing up to your shitbag father and trashing your old house; that asshole won’t keep you down any longer. all in all, there’s no right way to be a witch.

student spend their first three years of college on campus. their fourth year, the school finds them an internship. future guardian witches are hired by “hero-for-rent” organisations and sent on supervised off-world missions, alchemists and potion-makers are interned in Linphea, teachers are sent off across dimensions. they come back once every semester, to report their progress, and on graduation. similar system in employed in both Alfea and Red Fountain.

some fairies and witches definitely have beef with each other, and stereotyping/hate-mongering is ripe on both sides - BUT. so many of them are dating each other. just so many. you guys have never been in an (almost, there are still guy and non-binary witches/fairies) all girls boarding school if you think those bitches from Alfea and Cloud Tower are anything but gay.

Griffin is in an attrition war with the fairy-dating witches. they keep sneaking their SO’s into the Cloud Tower, who then have to be rescued because the castle is kind off sentient and keeps trying to eat the intruders-

it’s just annoying to be constantly dealing with! so Griffin literally puts anti-fairy charms on the school grounds.

(but then Griffin also has to call an emergency meeting with the entire school and reiterate that she is not actually homophobic - just against trespassers without entrance permits - and to please, stop sending hexes into her office-)

The Characters

Putting down the basic information's about the most important characters here. Everything from their full name, their ages and birthdays, sexual -identification and -orientation, family dynamics and relationships, to the titles and powers they have.

My rewrite will start on Earth in 2004, since that's when the first season aired.

One year on Magix is just as long as one year on Earth and Stella teleported herself there around the end of July but Alfea's school year doesn't start until about the 11th of September.

I'll list everyone's age at the time of September 1st 2004.

The Winx girls are around 18 years old in the beginning, as the three schools of Magix City are colleges. The boys are about to start their second year in Red Fountain and the Trix get in their third year in Cloud Tower.

Bloom Peters

18 - brought to Gardenia on August 24th 1986, which she celebrates as her birthday actually born on December 10th 1985 nonbinary, bisexual (she/they) she was born as Princess Melia, Flame of Marion, in Domino. Daughter of Queen Marion, Priestess of the Hearth and King Consort Oritel - both from Domino. Younger sister of Princess Daphne who was the Nymph of Domino, but died during the fall of Domino at age 25. Daphne saved Bloom's life by bringing her to Earth, where she grew up under the care of Vanessa and Mike Peters. They are amazingly supportive and loving parents. she considered Selina as her best friend, until she got into a relationship with Andy - Selina confessed having romantic feelings for her, but Bloom couldn't return those. Andy and Bloom's relationship lasted for almost two years and ultimately ended in a big fight, resulting in her leaving their band (she played the drums). Bloom has fire magic and is the Keeper of the Dragon Flame, she will be a Fairy

Shining Princess Stella Luna-Ray of Solaria

19 - August 18th 1985 cis, pansexual (she/her) she is very close with her father, the Radius Cyrus, who is the King of Solaria. Rather distant with her mother, Lady Luna from Callisto. The two of them are about to be divorced. she was in a relationship with Amaryl, but they fought a lot and ultimately decided that it's not worth it. At the beginning of the story she's already in a relationship with Brandon - they've started dating half a year before. Her best friends are Sky and Nova. She knows about Brandon and Sky switching places, since she's always known Sky. Stella is the Fairy of Sunlight

Flora de Alyssa Rose

19 - March 1st 1985 cis, panromantic and demisexual (she/her) daughter of Alyssa and Lord Rhodos of Silva, both from Linphea. Very close with her mother, but broke off the contact with her dad, since her parents got divorced. She is the older sister of Miele and they are very close. Their mother got together with Sage, who is very close with both girls. she is really close with her family members, but never had too close friends, since she always focused on studying. She went to Cloud Tower in hopes of becoming a Witch, but she ultimately transformed into Magic Wings and had to switch over to Alfea. Flora is the Fairy of Flowers

Musa Mai-Lin Song

18 - May 30th 1986 androgyne, bisexual with preference for women (she/they) child of Ho-Boe and Mai-Lin from Melody. Mai-Lin died when Musa was 12 and Ho-Boe moved with them to Magix City after that. Since then he was very distant and forbid Musa to pursue a career in music. Musa however, was able to keep contact with their grandparents in Melody. they were always distracted with school, or helping out their dad in the shop. But they were in a relationship with Darcy, at least until she became closer with her coven sisters. Musa is the Fairy of Sound

Tecna "Tec" Cryos

18 - Dezember 16th 1985 agender, panromantic and asexual (they/them) child of Magnethia and Electronio Cryos - both from Zenith. Older sibling of Ace Cryos. They are very distant with each other. was always very focused on studying and never made any close friends. Tec is the Fairy of Technomagic

Ísey "Icy" Skadis

20 - Dezember 5th 1983 cis, lesbian (she/her) both of her parents died when Jotunn was destroyed. Her older sister Sefira had to take care of her ever since. They were taken in by a woman in Eraklyon, who was very kind to them and taught both of them basic magic. when she grew up in Eraklyon she never thought of making friends as important, rather being focused on learning magic. Only when she came to Cloud Tower, met Darcy and Stormy and the three of them became a coven, she saw a point in becoming friends with someone. Icy is the Witch of Frost

Darclila "Darcy" of Griffin Aster

19 - October 5th 1984 cis, bisexual (she/her) daughter of Griffin from Callisto, younger sister of Darko. They don't know their father and their mother doesn't talk about him. she had some friends growing up, but only got closer with Musa, who she also got in a relationship with. They however broke it off when Darcy preferred spending time with her coven sisters over Musa. About one year later Darcy got in a relationship with Riven and they are still together. Darcy is the Witch of Illusions

Storm "Stormy" Donna-Wind

20 - April 5th 1984 doesn't care about labels but would put herself as nonbinary, aromantic and asexual (she/they) daughter of Lady Donna and Lord Bruce, both from Serenia and divorced now. Stormy and her mother are estranged and she doesn't have a lot of contact with her dad. was homeschooled and didn't care about gaining friends, until she met Icy and Darcy. Stormy is the Witch of Storms

Brandon Masonz

19 - September 23rd 1984 cis, bisexual (he/him) son of Sir Mason and Esme, both from Eraklyon and happily married. Older brother of the twins Jacky and Rayna, as well as baby-sister Fran. Very close with his sisters. He and his family consider Sky as his younger brother. As Brendon started being the Prince's squire from a young age he grew up in the castle and quickly became Sky's best friend. They need to pose as each other, in order to keep Sky save from assassinations. Thus Brandon is a excellent fighter with swords. He got into a relationship with Stella about half a year ago. Brandon has metal magic, he will be a Paladin

Crown Prince Skylan "Sky" Erendorz Jörd

19 - March 20th 1985 cis, straight-romantic and asexual (he/him) son of Emperor Erendor and the Empress Consort, Nymph Samara - both from Eraklyon. Both are very commanding and distant. Younger half brother of Prince Thoren, who he is close with. But he's closer even with Brandon's family, since Thoren prefers to spend the least time possible in the castle. as long as he can remember, Brandon is his best friend. But so are Stella and Diaspro. Sky has gravity magic, he will be a Paladin

Riven of Arcadia

19 - October 15th 1984 cis, bisexual with preference for women (he/him) grew up in the orphanage of Magix City. His mother, the Dark Witch Minerva, is form Arcadia. His father is from Melody, but he doesn't know him. he has some friends in Magix City but he's not too close with anyone, besides his girlfriend Darcy. Riven has void magic and the magic of others doesn't work on him, he will be a Paladin

Timothy "Timmy" Aella-Wind

20 - Feburary 15th 1984 agender, sraightromantic and greyasexual (they/them) son of Aella from Serenia and Bernard Cache from Zenith. Very distant with their dad, but close with their mom. Younger brother of Kelvin, who they get mocked by. they always had troubles when it came to finding friends and preferred working on their projects or helping out at their parent's lightning-farm. Timmy has electricity magic, he will be a Paladin

Selina Morgan

Roxy: 17 - September 22nd 1986 Selina: 18 - Dezember 21st 1985 they were both Terrestrial Fairies, thus born genderless - Roxy doesn't care about genders or labeling themselves, so they say - none, aromantic and asexual (they/them) Selina associates as female, lesbian (she/her) they grew up under the care of Eldora and Klaus Morgan. A very tight-knit and loving family. Roxy has always had one best friend - Macy. Selina saw Bloom as her best friend, until she realized she was having a crush on them, when they began dating Andy. When she confessed they got into a fight after which Selina started to hang out with Roxy and Macy. Both Roxy and Selina are terrestrial witches, but they don't know about that yet and thus haven't decided on their sources

Macy Lilo

16 - March 20th 1987 cis, bi-romantic and asexual (she/her) daughter of Fred and Ariana Lilo, both from Italy. Her mother died when she was born, but she is very close with her father. she became best friends with Roxy when they were young and it never changed for them. Macy is the first human born with the ability to practice magic - She has elemental magic, but doesn't know that yet she will be a Wizard

Princess Diaspro Wyatts Eraklyon

20 - Dezember 30th 1983 cis, lesbian (she/her) daughter of King Wyatt from Eraklyon and Queen Consort Iris, who came from Solaria. She is quiet close with her mother. she was homeschooled and spent a lot of time at Erakyon's main palace, where she became friends with Sky. At royal events she spends most of her time with Stella. When she got into Alfea, she focused very much on her studies, but also became friends with one of her room mates - Anne. They dated for a bit until they came to the conclusion they'd be better friends. Diaspro is the Fairy of Crystals

Mirta, Flame of Brenda

17 - October 31st 1986 cis, lesbian (she/her) comes from a long line of witches from Domino. Of her family only her Grandmother Maia escaped. She had saved Mirta's live and moved to Magix City. They are very tight-knit. growing up in Magix City Mitra always had one friend - Lucy. Mirta has emotion magic, she will be a Fairy

Lucy Ray

18 - June 24th 1986 transgender mtf, lesbian (she/her) daughter of Sibylla, who is half arcadian, half solarian and Grey from Solaria. Very tight-knit family, who moved to Magix City when Sibylla became a teacher at Red Fountain. After moving to Magix City Lucy was able to gain a close friend in Mirta. She always wanted to be popular, but never quite got there. Lucy is the Witch of Nightmares

Crown Princess Aisha Waters of Niobe, from Andros

18 - June 15th 1986 cis, lesbian (she/her) daughter of King Teredor and Queen Consort Niobe of Andros. Younger sister of Princess Politea, who was the Nymph of Andros, but unfortunately died during the Fall of Domino. Since then Aisha's parents are very strict and overprotective. she grew up very secluded, as her parents were scared over losing their second daughter. Growing up in the castle she had one friend - Anne, who also was her first crush. Through her Aisha found her hobby in dancing and sneaking out of the castle. Aisha however, hasn't seen Anne in years - since her parents caught them sneaking out of the castle. she will go to Alfea under a fake name - Layla Aisha is the Fairy of Morphix

Krystal de Rachel Lavandula 

Helia: 20 - September 2nd 1983 Krystal: 17 - March 19th 1987 Helia is transgender ftm, straight-romantic and demisexual (he/him) Krystal is cis, panromantic and demisexual (she/her) children of Queen Rachel from Linphea and Professor Codatorta from Eraklyon. Grandkids of Saladin. A very tight-knit, but also very status oriented family. Since their mother is also the Nymph of Linphea she had to give up her family in order to achieve that title. Codatorta, Helia and Krystal live in Magix City with Saladin. Helia was always more focused on his art than being interested in finding friends. He was always very popular anyway, just didn't care about it enough. Krystal on the other hand traveled a lot to royal balls, even though she couldn't be too close to her mom anyway. She became close friends with Princess Galatea of Melody and soon started to spent a lot of time with her. Helia has blood magic, he will be a Wizard Krystal is the Fairy of Sand

Princess Yùnyáng "Galatea" Lian-Shi Yijun

16 - September 30th 1987 nonbinary, pansexual (she/they) Galatea is her stage name, but she generally prefers it. she's the seventh of nine sisters and not too close with any of them, since she got popular with her music from a young age. she met Krystal at a royal ball, they have been best friends and hanging out almost everyday together ever since. Galatea is the Fairy of Melodies

Lady Nova Elaine-Ray

17 - June 23rd 1987 cis, bisexual (she/her) daughter of Duchess Elaine from Solaria and Aiden, who is half dominian, half callistian. Younger sister of Amaryl. Very close family, even though she and her sister are fighting most of the time. growing up Nova spent a lot of time in the Solarian palace, due to her needing lots of medical attention and the best sun-healers being there. Over time she became best friends with Stella. Nova is the Fairy of Warming Lights

Lord Nabu, Waters of Uma

21 - January 30th 1983 cis, bisexual with a preference for men (he/him) son of Duke Ophir from Andros and Uma, the Nymph of Serenia. Twin brother of Anemone "Anne". He is very close with his mother and sister, but doesn't get to see his father a lot. he's been homeschooled and after that focused on mastering Arcane Magic, thus never caring about making friends. He had some acquaintances, just no one he's keeping in touch with. Nabu has thermal magic, he will be a Wizard

Lady Chimera Cassandra-Ray

14 - June 22nd 1990 cis, straight (she/her) she grew up very sheltered due to her mom, who she is not very close with but gets controlled by. she's a student of Beta Academy for future Fairies and Witches, where she met her two best friends. Chimera has meteor magic, she will be a Fairy

Okay so I wanted to go over some basic stuff for the magic retold!

Okay so Fairies can be either male or female same with witches I call the male counterparts warlocks

Wizards are warriors with magic, they hone their fighting skills alongside their magic and it powers their weapons

Whilst Warlocks focus on the negative sides of their magic (witches and warlock aren’t bad people they were painted that way) they don’t fight with weapons they fight with magic

So big difference is Wizards fight with weapons that are infused with magic whilst warlocks fight with their raw magic

Fairies tend to focus on the positive sides of their magic and help people more so then witches/warlocks

A group of fairies are called Fae and that is the general term for them in the magic dimension

Specialists are basically wizards but because they focus on their own magic and a certain weapons they got called specialists

So yes all the boys have certain bits of magic!

Alfea and Cloud Tower we’re all girls schools until about 10 years after the winx graduate (their early 30’s)

That’s when the headteachers after speaking with many alumni and other graduates decide to change making it so boys & girls or just any fairy, witch, warlock and wizard could choose which school to join with no repercussions

Red fountain bred wizards

Alfea bred fairies

Cloud tower bred witches

Warlocks studied in their own schools on their home planets until this change

And some fairies went to other academies (like Beta Academy in Solaria and Linphea College)

So now

Cloud tower welcomes witches and warlocks

Alfea welcomes all fae

Red Fountain now welcomes both wizards and warlocks also fairies and witches since some of these might want to go on to become warriors instead of actual fairies or witches/warlocks

So you have Damion and Caspian (Stella and Aisha’s sons) who ended up at Alfea and Cloud tower respectively

Pascal, Flora’s son ended up at Cloud Tower as well (he thrives there despite his shy nature)

Yijun, Musa’s daughter went to red fountain for a bit before transferring to Alfea in the middle of her first year!

Theodore, Stella’s eldest son is alumni of both cloud tower and red fountain (he graduated RF slightly earlier but took his last year at cloud tower)

So you get a variety of students at each college really!

Some other schools like Beta Academy and Linphea college had already done that or have still stayed as boarding schools of one gender

Beta Academy still only accepts female students

You have Leto Academy which is it’s male counterpart

Linphea college allows anyone of any gender to study there, Linphea is cool like that

Andros has the Underwater Auditorium for merfolk which is right underneath the Circle of Amphitrite so their close to their human counterparts

And there are plenty of other schools in the other planets but I might put that in a part 2!

Thoren

Name: Thoren Orest Dion

Looks: He has dark brown hair, light brown highlights, fair skin and coral blue eyes.

Relationships: he is daphne's childhood friend/love. when she comes back, they meet again and fall in love all over again and rediscover their chemistry and get tgt. he knew daphne since they were 5 coz of their statuses, and even tho he had a huge crush on her, he was always supportive of what she chose to do, like becoming a nymph, being crown princess, so on. he is sky's cousin (the king's older sister's son)

personality: Unlike his more active and headstrong cousin, Thoren seems more gentle, calm and passive. He is also revealed to be more skittish than Sky as he was easily scared as a child. While Sky came to hate him for an incident during their childhood, Thoren grew envious of Sky for his more daring heroism and his ability to act accordingly. Due to this, Thoren formed a small grudge against Sky as he began viewing himself as a coward so, to rectify this, Thoren started becoming helpful towards as many people as he could, even those he barely knew. Additionally, he does not do so simply to feel more like a hero either; Thoren seems to genuinely want to help others and can be very friendly to those he does help and want to get to know better.

Thoren has grown from his time as a scared little kid as he will also jump into battle when he feels he is needed. As much as Sky believed otherwise, Thoren holds a sense of duty and justice close to his, like when he reminded Sky of how he would stay and fight the Treants when they were terrorising Linphea College. Thoren's desire to help people can also make him naive.

history: Thoren was born to the Lady of Eraklyon (Sky's Dad's Oldest Sister) he has 2 other siblings he loves. He knew Daphne when they were younger as Domino and Eraklyon are very close allies and became best friends. when Daphne was cursed and "died" in the eyes of the rest of the Magic Universe, Thoren grieved for a long time and decided to become a paladin so that he could protect people he loved, in hopes that would never happen again. When he saw Daphne again, he almost couldnt believe his eyes and all the feelings came rushing back.

weapon: Like all Paladins from Linphea College, Thoren has been taught fighting tactics. He had been trained to utilize aircrafts and vehicles. Thoren is given a magical weapon, the Earthquake Hammer that has the power to generate seismic waves. These seismic waves can be released on the ground (or in open air) that tear into the earth, either disorientate their balance and knock them off their feet.

Thoughts on Alphea

(Again I know this is a kids show but my mind wonders when i'm bored so I present to you this)

In the Winx Club, Alfea is the main location featured in the show, even when the girls have graduated school, however not much is explained about the school itself and how it runs and has to be inferred instead. So thats what I did.

So how would I propose that Alfea be designed?

The school would first of all not be a High school but instead a university/college which they attend from 18 years old (ish). The show was written and aimed for kids so I understand making Bloom 16 at the start of S1. However between the dorm mates, parties, parental freedom and training to become royals and fighters it makes more sense for the Winx, students of Alphea, Cloud Tower, and Red Fountain to be older than the 16 year olds in season 1. I would note that in this concept students in Red fountain start when their 16ish and have 5 years at red fountain (start training them young and explains why the boys were already red fountain students at the start of S1).

Alfea would also not be a normal college, but instead a very highly ranked college with large tuition fees and barriers to enter. Like older colleges and universities there is the prestige that comes with attending an older established institute, especially one responsible for holding magical objects (think codex S2) and hosting members of the Company of Light. The school would have better facilities (Magical reality Chamber), teachers and future opportunities than most other magic colleges in the magical dimension.

Alfea would also differ from other colleges by striving to make their students earn Charmix and teach and help train their Enchantix. Enchantix is a fairy form that is not earned easily and not commonly achieved and so most magic schools do not cover such a high power form. However Alfea is there to teach the next generation of Leaders and Guardians and so push their students. Training them if they develop Enchantix, or just going into great detail about these powers or help so they can to best prepare them for the future where they have a higher chance of earning Enchantix. (cos they will be responsible for people)

Because of this high quality of education plus the prestige associated with Alfea many royals and political leaders send their children to attend. These children make up a large portion of the schools students which ties in with the large amount of royalty we see in the series. Such as Stella, Crystal, Galatea and Veranda (though she didn't end up attending), even Musa, in one of the animation versions, is technically a distant royal . In this concept I would make Techna the daughter of a council member of Zenith, so not royalty and also not a role that can be inherited but only voted in democratically.

As well as these upperclass students there are also students who come from more normal backgrounds, who are chosen to attend due to having strong magical abilities with the aim of them becoming guardian fairies when they graduate and help defend the magical dimension. These students are able to apply and attend Alfea through the support of a sponsor. A sponsor vouches for the students entry as well as cover their costs and can be either an institution (such as a planet/royal family/Alfea itself) or a person (such as a Guardian/Nymph/Influential member of society).

The best example of this type of student in this concept would be Flora. In the series she is the daughter of two Vets on Linphea and in this concept lives in Separate land from the main Linphea (where the royals live) which is a nature reserve for animals and so only has small villages of humans. She is recognised by teachers for her stronger powers (she is the fairy of nature) which leads to the royal family sponsoring her to attend Alfea so to become a guardian fairy for Linphea. This would explain why her younger sister attends the Linphean fairy college in the later seasons as she is not sponsored and has to stay more local.

Overall Alfea would not be a normal school, but instead one for the development and training for the future Leaders, Protectors and visionaries of the Magical dimension. Which then makes the abnormal amount of royals and the amount of times the school is in danger in the series more plausible.

Alfea, the College of Fairies, the stepping stone of Teenage Fairies.It has turned Girls into Women and created Heroes out of them, the Prime Example would be the Winx Club, who now Teach at the very School that taught them so much and now passing the torch to those younger than them.

A Knee-length Red-Orange haired woman re-adjusted her parted Bangs, as she carried a small luggage which contained anything from Test Assignments to Clothes, she got out of the Magix Bus, the Girl took a deep breath and exhaled, as muttered under her Breath,

"Can't believe I'm finally here...time to get to Work"

She looked down and as she got into the School Gate, she soon got confronted by Freshman Students, they crowded around her asking for Selfies, Autographs and wanting to know if they would get taught by her in School,

"There she is!"

"Bloom! Will you teaching my Class?"

"Bloom could you sign my Book about Earth?!"

"Would you take a Picture with us?"

At this point, Bloom is pretty used to the Crowds of Students and was about to move on her own excuse herself, but she didn't expect Stella to come and pull her out of there, she asked in a Hushed tone,

"Do you have a Pen this time?"

"Uh yeah I uh didn't think about that"

Stella sighed as Bloom laughed abit nervously, took out her pen, and enchanted it to write her Autograph, it zoomed and went to people's notebooks and Sketchbooks as Stella and Bloom quietly get out of the crowd and went into the Entrance Hall where the Rest of the Winx Club were.

They were Breathless, sweating even and Aisha spoke up in a concerned tone as she raised her Eyebrows a little bit,

"Jeez what happened to you guys?"

Stella responded back in quick but tired and sassy tone,

"Oh nothing just crowds, being unnecessarily Famous, same old same old, the Typical Monday Morning"

Aisha sighed and replied back to them, she understands immediately ever since the defeat of Tritannus, studying the New Syllabus and returning to Teaching Position, Freshman Students ought to be excited, Musa and Tecna added some of their thoughts too,

"Ah I feel you, I got asked by countless Students whether I'll be teaching Gym and Combat classes"

"Some asked whether I could make a Robotics Club"

"Freshman Students just asked me whether we could have Jazz Club"

"I understood the Combat Class part but Gym? Since when did Alfea have a Gym?"

Bloom asked and Flora was about to reply then Faragonda came down the steps along with the rest of the staff,

"Winx! It's so good to see you all again, I hope you all have rested well"

"Miss Faragonda! And yes we're doing just fine, you wanted to meet us why is that?"

Flora asked curiously, that's why they were in the Entrance Hall, they were waiting for them,

"Well as you may know, Alfea is going through a partial Renovation, we are going to have a state of the Art Gymnasium, Technology Sector and a simple Music Cafe, this would probably be disturbance to your Classes so we would like you all to attend an Opening Ceremony"

The Winx Club looked at each other a bit confused this was recent news to them, not even Tecna knew of it, Faragonda replied to them,

"It is the Re-opening ceremony of the New and Improved Linphea College of Fairies, since we can't be there ourselves due to the amount of Freshman Students this month's intake, we would like you all to represent Alfea over there"

Flora's eyes went wide when she heard Linphea,

"My Sister Miele just enrolled there! We have to go there"

The Winx hadn't seen Miele since the Valtor incident of their Senior Year, Roxy never met her before and only heard though Mentions by Flora, it was decided they would be going to Linphea College.Faragonda also added,

"The Specialists will be there too, they are holding a Open Arena Training and Performance for the School against their Paladins"

"Wait the Paladins? Like Professor Avalon?"

Stella asked and Professor Avalon nodded and replied,

"Yes but these Paladins are still in Training it will take years to even get to my Level especially in the usage of Wings, now get Ready, you all, don't keep the Specialists waiting"

The Winx Club quickly went to their Rooms, Bloom lagged behind, she placed her hand on her chest and breathed in and out before Griselda tapped her shoulder, her tone Less strict than usual,

"Bloom are you alright?"

She looked up and a small smile plastered onto her face,

"I'm fine Griselda thank you for asking"

Bloom quickly ran off and Griselda sighed looking at Faragonda and telling her,

"Faragonda I worry that Bloom is not adjusting, she seems more off than usual"

"Give her some Time Griselda, Bloom has faced Adversity before, this one is no different, it's harsher but everyone needs to grow up and leave the nest eventually"

They leave the Entrance Hall to Greet the students, Bloom told herself,

"It's not going to be awkward, It's not going to be awkward, he's King of Eraklyon now, It's not going to be awkward, It's not going to be awkward-"

She says that until she got into her Room.

Arriving at the Linphea College Arena, the Specialists were preparing Combat performances and doing training with the Paladins, among the Crowd, the man with Ashen Brown hair blend into it seamlessly, his Weapon hidden as a Ring on his Rough fingers, he was dressed in Paladin Trainee Uniforms, those of Red and in the middle of their chests contains a yellow colored gem.It in a way tracks the Trainees around the Campus, but it was easy to fool in this situation.

The Man felt his Companion's words pops into his head, 'Found it yet?' The Man Telepathically responded, 'No I just got there, security was tighter than I thought but no one has found me'The Man was walking around, pretending to do something, than soon saw the Arena training happening in front of him.

The Specialists were Teachers, Interns to be exact, they were dressed in Blue versions of the Paladin Trained Armor, they looked brand new, 'Hmm they seem to be Prototype Armour pieces and not the standard hmm alright then'The Man said to himself in his Head before hearing the Specialists greet them,

"For Today's Training, we will be Trying out the Prototype Phantoweapons that will be used by Linphea College Solely"

"None of us know what these Weapons can do either"

Sitting on a small Golden Table with a Wood covering, there sits a Hilts of Blades, Wooden Sticks and Firearms, the man was little impressed with the Selection,

"We'll demonstrate the Usage of the weapons and we will select one of you to attack us...if you can"

One of the Teachers and Specialists, Riven, replied as he picked out his Weapon, a Khukuri with Glowing Purple Energy around 18 inches long, he looked around and soon points to the man,

"You there! What's your name?"

The Man looked up, he was trying to leave but he was called and so he introduced himself,

"The Name's Thoren"

Thoren walked to the Center of the Arena and asked,

"So just to be Clear, I could use any weapon right?"

"Yeah dude come on Im itching for a fight"

"Oh then I'll just have to use my fists"

The Specialists looked at the match, they were abit worried for the Outcome for using Fists against blades were not good and they were teachers, but Riven does not care, he likes the attitude,

"Bring it then!"

Riven drew his blade and lunged forward, he slashed left and right in which Thoren dodged, he jumped off the blade and backflip kick before landing in his Stance, it drew an open fist, one facing up and another facing down, his leg at the front was standing up at the ball of his feet while keeping parallel with his other foot which was on the ground.

The Paladins and The Specialists looked intrigued at the battle before them, Thoren was holding back, he had to anyway besides this was simply a Sparring Session to him, there was an awkward silence between them before striking, Riven went in for Slash with his Moon Khukuri and a wave of Magical Energy came out from the Weapon from each slash, Thoren dodged the first Wave and slice of Energy hitting just near his cheek then jumped over the second one, Thoren sighed to himself and whispered to himself,

"Time to end this"

He launched himself forward and punched his solar plexus, Riven lost his footing, Thoren took advantage of that and quickly disarmed his Sword and let him fall to the ground as he held the Moon Khukuri almost like a Dagger but pointing it directly at him.

Thoren and Riven looked at each other, Riven hadn't seen someone that fought so daringly, unarmed even, he smirked as Thoren stretched out his hand and he took as he stood up, they complimented each other,

"That was some good movement but I can tell you were holding back"

"Yes I was and but you too was also doing that, so we can call it even"

Thoren went back to the crowd, but separated from it besides he was here to get his Companion, Selina, something, Brandon nervously smiled, he cleared his throat before saying,

"Alright that was a good demonstration! Who's Next?"

Meanwhile with the Winx Club, which was about 2 hours later, they reached Linphea with Stella's Ring, Flora looked around the Nature of her Realm,

"Oh Linphea how I miss you!"

"Flora! Winx!"

They turned her head around and saw a Pre teenage girl with a Light Tan and had Ginger Orange coloured high ponytail and decorated with some flowers on her hairband, she wore a Pink and Yellow flowery dress and her shoes are green and pink.Flora hadn't lived in Linphea for awhile ever since her mission to Earth and the Tritannus Incident, but it did not take her a second to not recognise the Person running towards them.

It was Miele, but of course siblings being Siblings, Flora pretended to not know her,

"Oh who are you strange person?"

"Flora I'm trying to have a moment with you can you please not?"

"Gasp! How do you know my name little one"

"I'm not Littl- Flora...Winx is Flora Broken?"

Initially the Winx Club didn't want to participate in this Chaotic Banter but the opportunity was too good to pass up, starting with Bloom and ending with Aisha, except Roxy...she didn't know what's going on.

"Oh I have no idea who you are"

(Bloom)

"Winx Club what Winx Club?, we are the Stellar Club"

(Stella)

"I'm not with them I was simply passing by with my band Musa and the Muses"

(Musa)

"I think we are missing the point but who is this girl?"

(Tecna)

"What was your name?... Petals? Gypso?"

(Aisha)

"What is going on here?"

Miele and Roxy said at the same time before everyone started laughing and Flora replied saying,

"Oh hahaha you should've seen your face!"

Miele was so done and just rolled her eyes and whistled, the Sound of Giant Insect wings were heard and landing to the ground were the Giant Ladybugs, Miele hopped onto one of them and said to them in a sarcastic tone,

"Oh I can just leave right now since you're not the Winx Club~"

"Okay okay We're sorry Miele and yes I remember you....still very little"

"IM NOT"

"Yes you are cause you're still my Little Sister"

"You're such a bother sometimes"

The Winx got onto the Ladybugs, Stella has lost her fear of Ladybugs just LADYBUGS, Flora sat on a Ladybug and pet one of them and said to Miele teasingly,

"Don't say that, you love me too much"

Miele rolled his eyes and soon the Ladybugs took off, flying through the Sky, looking down they saw the City of Trees, Flower Village, across the Shimmering Flowers Valley and it's Roots living in the Ocean of Flowers and the Water Stairway to the Black Willow.Memories from their adventures flood back to them then up and flying over the Lush greenery and Woods of Linphea, they soon reached Linphea College or rather the New and Improved name is Linphea High.

It was no longer a College, it was a High School for Fairies.It consists of waterfalls with Large green Canyon with Plants of all kinds, the School took a Circular sort of Shape with a Large and Open Area.The High School looks guarded by Large Trees and last but not least the Arena was at the Center display almost like a Colosseum.

Tecna pointed out to the Arena,

"Look! It's the Specialists"

They saw the Arena filled with the Specialists training the Paladins for one last demonstration of tactics and Combat, and of the new weapons that they hold.While Landing, Aisha frowned and saw Roy going up against a light navy blue haired Paladin with side burns, fair skin, and light hazel-colored eyes. He usually wears a pair of piercings on his left ear, he was beating Roy, who was using a Sword made of Yellow Green Thunder energy, and Nex holding a War Scythe in which the blade was almost Invisible, you could see a shimmer of it if you're perceptive enough.

Aisha shouted to Roy and to motivate him,

"Go Roy! Give him Hell!"

Roy turned to Aisha a little before concentrating on the Battle as he was briefly knocked to the ground but he stabbed his Sword to the ground to cause Friction to be in his favour, he dodged a thrust of Nex's Scythe and a blunt hit from the blunt end of the Weapon.

Roy noticed the shimmering invisible blade and frowned as he threw his Sword at Nex which almost as if it turned into a Lightning Bolt and barely graze Nex's cheek but Roy quickly jumped and kicked him to the ground and grabbed his Sword mid-air and pin Nex to the ground with his Foot and placed his sword on his neck,

"Yield"

"Tch fine I yield"

Roy sighed and placed his foot off him and stretched his hand out,

"That was good combat skills though nearly had me"

"Yeah nearly...HAH!"

Roy caught off guard saw a Phantoblade Dagger nearly reached his neck but then Pink goo came and rescued him, sealing off Nex hand with a blast of Morphix and disarming his dagger, Aisha cast that spell and picked Roy up,

"Roy are you alright?!"

"Yeah...Yeah I'm fine...I just didn't expect that"

Aisha looked at Roy passionately before giving that same amount of Passion to Nex but in a completely different way, Aisha calmed herself down and replied to Nex,

"This is a Civilized Training Session, it's a chance to learn from each other and perfect each other's Skills, but the only Skill you perfected so far is how to get a big head"

Aisha walked off with Roy, who did not expect to be Defended like that but he's not against it, Nex wiped the dirt off his face and looked away, standing up and Walking off.

The Winx Girls went to greet their Boyfriends, the Party to set up for the Opening of Linphea High, all except Bloom, she wandered around the Campus, Sky wasn't present in this event so she wasn't as tensed...until she felt it.

"Huh?...What the"

A wave of Energy almost like the Wind flowed past her, she looked around in confusion but ignored the Feeling, 'Its probably nothing, new place, new shivers' She thought to herself, she saw Flora and Miele stood Infront of 8 Massive Trees, and went towards them.

"Hey Flora, Hey Miele what are these?"

"Oh Bloom! These are called the Tree Ents, not much is known about them but what we do know is that they were here before the construction of the School and now acts as the School's Natural Defense System"

Miele explained and Flora touched one of the Tree Ents's massive Roots, she exclaimed in delight,

"There is so much life in single touch! It's incredible"

Bloom smiled, perhaps that Bad Feeling she was feeling isn't going to happen at all.

Meanwhile, Thoren went to the Second Floor of Linphea High, he looked around and found the Library, it was Rock cut design room with Books of all kinds, from History of the Linphea, Theories of the Magical Dimension and a mere Book about Botany, there wasn't anyone in but the Librarian was present.

"Tch"

He went in and the Librarian greeted him,

"Excuse me, no one else is supposed to be up here until the Opening of the Campus, please leave"

"Understood"

Thoren replied, then he put out his Weapon and knocked the Librarian unconscious and entering the Restricted Section of the Library, looking through the Scroll section and soon found a Dusty,tattered and torn leather scroll with a Lapis Lazuli gem embeded in it, Thoren Smirked.

He connected his mind to his Partner in Crime, 'I found the Scroll, you got a base for us?' Words appeared in his head, 'Yes Cloud's Tower will soon be ours...get back here...but take your time' Thoren exited the Restriction Section, but the sudden ring of the Alarm flared and soon the stomping of the Guards was heard nearby, Thoren covered his mouth and Concealed his Identity, he said to his partner in his head, 'I need a Distraction, Powerful Fairies down there especially that Dragon Flame Holder'

Words Sprung in his head once more, 'Noted, I got the Perfect tale' Thoren got his Weapon out, a an old looking Phantoblade Halberd with Red Wood surrounding it and a portion of it looks like a gun, he faced the Experienced Paladin before him as the Room goes dark, only the Red flares of Alarm remains, Thoren gets ready for Combat.

Silena thought it would be Hard, she honestly thought it would be Hard to infiltrate the School of Witches, like minded individuals that deal with the darkness of Magic, the Ironic thing about this is that the Shield was a Magic Spell on the side of Good and it just bamboozled her completely,

"Well this is just sad, relying on Positive Energy solely on the spell"

Silena entered the Building, she was still being cautious, she is Adult looking and infiltrating the school as a College student... however no one questioned her, Silena was so confused, the two teachers, Professor Ediltrude and Zarathustra, did not question her and immediately let her in as one of the Freshman, Silena is Evil yes but even she has standards as a professional, 'They didn't even check, I just could've strolled in? Who made this system?' Silena is freaking out internally but her tough exterior says otherwise.

She joined in line with the rest of the Freshman with Auditorium, seeing the Senior Witches, she could only be disgusted these Witches didn't learn Jackshit, Silena thought once more in her head, 'Okay I'm just going to take over, all of these people here are meat suits and shields let's go' She waited for the Headmistress to come, a tall lady with pale greenish white skin, and has a hooked nose, her purple hair that is pulled up into a shape similar to that of pointy hats worn by Ancient witches, with two lighter purple strands on either side. She also wears heavy make-up around her eyes.

The Headmistress introduced herself and began her small speech,

"Welcome Back Everyone! To the Freshman, my name is Headmistress Griffin, the current Principal of Cloud's Tower, it will also be my final year as Headmistress!"

Mutters of disbelief was among the Crowd of Senior and Junior Witches as Headmistress Griffin has been teaching for so long even before their time, as soon as the Mutters stop via a thousand yard stare of Headmistress Griffin, she continued,

"With each new Harvest of the Year, a young crop will always survive the Reaping, you all are the young Crops, young Witches that shall fine-tune and sharpen their Craft to the fullest extent"

As she walked the Center she continued and concluded her speech,

"Here in Cloud's Tower you will become Modern Witches, ones that will help those Pixies in aspect of Darkness, but you all shall prove your worth first"

She referred the Fairies as Pixies, Silena frowned as she heard Modern Witches are to help the aspect of Good, she held that thought in disdain as Griffin invited the freshman to show off their craft, Silena stepped forward and Griffin noticed her,

"You there, what's your Name? And where did you come from?"

"My name is Silena, I come from no realm, but a Nomadic Tribe from Dyamond"

"Dyamond? The Council of Magic lost contact with that Realm for a long time"

"I've never been there myself, I just know my tribe came from there"

This was a Lie, Silena has a connection to Dyamond but never familial, it was something different almost contractual,

"Your Craft? What is it?"

Silena summoned a Grimoire of great Power, the roots of a tree was seen on the Cover, Silena smiles as she opened the Grimoire and says,

"This is the Legendarium, I hold the power to bring Storybook characters from all of the Magic Dimension's Folklore to life, and twist them to my will"

"Oh my...go on"

Looking down at the pages of the Grimoire, was the page dedicated to the Gloomywood Trolls, Silena gave small smirk and read out,

"This is the Story of Gloomywood Trolls, Creatures that once walked the forests of the Magic Dimension exerting their Dominance over the realms, had it not been the Ancient Pixies of all the Realms, the trolls would've kept spreading"

"Ah yes that used to be my favourite bedtime story while growing up, if I recall, most of the Trolls are Chained underneath the grounds of Pixie village"

"That's right and now let's wreck some havoc"

Silena held the book up and she heard her partner, Thoren, in Linphea had found the Scroll of Astraea and just in time for a need for a distraction.The Winds Howled and the Windows burst open as Silena lift her hand, the Legendarium glowed Purple and Green, Dark Shadows swirled and formed around her legs and up into the Air,

"Legendarium, Bring me Storybook Monsters to Life!"

Griffin couldn't believe it, all of her senses was telling her to run at the sight of this magic, it wasn't Negative nor Positive, Good nor Evil, but it was certainly powerful, the Whole school of Young Witches were Blinded by sheer Power of the Legendarium, some turn away or even put up Shields.

"Gloomywood Trolls unchained once more, claim the Vengeance you sought after!"

The Spirits of Trolls were seen coming out of the Book, it's Cage, it's Confines and it was finally Free.

The Party was being set up, Bloom helped out along the Girls to distract herself from the Thoughts in her head, Stella was fixing up Dresses for the Staff Members, Musa and Tecna was handling Sound Production with Linphea College's Local Club, Flora was with her Sister and Helia, Aisha was patching up Nex's Wounds and Roxy was tending to the Animals of the Tree Ents.

Bloom was focusing so much on distracting herself that she didn't notice this part of Campus, it was only when caught a glimpse of a Paladin with Ashen Brown hair with a face mask zoom past her, their eyes met for a passing moment before hearing a School Siren play,

"CODE WOOD, CODE WOOD, ALL SENIOR PALADINS AND FAIRIES INTO POSITIONS!"

"HOSTILE IN SIGHT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL, I REPEAT THIS IS NOT-"

The Siren sound fizzled out Aburptly and Bloom was about to act but seven rings were heard from their Phones and all came from the Winx Club, the Winx came together and opened the message, Faragonda's holographic image came out,

"Girls get back to Magix! We're under attack!"

The Winx gasped and Stella asked,

"By what? Miss Faragonda we can deal with it!"

Faragonda shakes her head and replied, her mouth shaky, her face was covered in sweat, on closer inspection there bruises on her face,

"It's a Legendary Creature I can't explain it to you at the moment!"

Stella looked at Bloom in confusion then Roxy asked,

"Just a brief description please Miss Faragonda tell us!"

As Roxy asked, Faragonda stood up from her office chair, the Headmistress burst into Action and she erratically fired spells at Supposed Beast, the Roar was deafening even through the Tele communication, the Winx Girls were unsure what to make of the Situation but we're deeply disturbed when the communication started to fade, Aisha asked Tecna,

"Tecna can you-"

"On it!"

Tecna raised her hand, her technology powers tried to maintain stability of the devices connecting to Communication between them but it backfired, a blast from their devices threw Tecna to the ground,

"Tecna!"

Musa, Flora and Roxy gathered around her and helped her up the Ground, before the communication and Holographic Image faded, the Winx Saw the Creatures appear behind Faragonda and Roxy gasped.

Transmission was lost.

Roxy said out,

"Those were Gloomywood Trolls, I heard of them in a Myth and Monsters Course! I thought they were just a Myth"

Tecna shook her head and said,

"That's a bold reason but illogical it could be something else"

Musa clenched her Fist and said,

"Whatever it is, it was strong and we need to do something!"

The Girls turned to Bloom, as Bloom gathered the strength to speak out as the Leader of the club, she felt something tugging at heart but shook off the feeling as something inconvenient and said to her friends,

"Musa and Tecna are right, we don't know what those things are but the people at Magix are going to get hurt"

"What about the Sirens?"

Flora asked in concern and Bloom thought hard, as much as she dislikes the thought was spiltting up but considering the severity of Magix and Linphea she was put into a Standstill but Miele had other plans as she said to them,

"Magix is the Central Control of the Magic Dimension, it's where most of the Council of Magic live and sit, if Magix falls then we all fall"

"Miele..."

"Don't Worry me and My school can handle this, I'm sure of it!"

The Naivety of a Child was painful to Watch but the Winx had always believed in the Positive scenarios but yet the Worry was still there,

"Miele be careful okay? We don't know who or what this Hostile is at Linphea, fight well and fight Smart, just like what Dad said"

"Just like what Dad said..."

Miele looked at her big sister and nodded before heading to help her friends, the Winx club ran passed the guests and other students, Bloom briefly saw Sky but that's not important right now, lives were in Danger.

Brandon, Riven and Nex joined up with the Girls and headed to the Red Fountain Aircraft, soon they flew over the Realm of Magix, Bloom got her Girls together,

"Girls are you Ready?"

"Ready!"

"Here we go!"

The girls had fought so many battles, maybe this would be Regular fight, nothing Special and that's a good thing, but this was Different.Bloom felt the tugging in Heart, she doesn't know what this feeling but once again shook it away as she focused on the most Important thing right now.

Specifically season 1&2 girls.

Bloom

A awkward teenager at first, not much from cannon is changed. Eventually she grows into her more confident princess status. The major change is that she is energetic as heck, possibly due to neurodivergency, she's always doing something and often infodumps topics she likes on anyone willing to listen.

Sexuality - unlabeled / queer

Gender - feminine but still queer, She/Her/Spark/Sparks

She is also polyamorous.

Later in her early adulthood after a couple of years trying out her luck with him she decides to just be friends with Sky and has a queerplatonic (w/benefits) relationship with Stella instead.

Stella

The token IT girl, all attention is on her wherever she goes. At the start of Alfea she doesn't exactly know how to properly make friends or how to fit in due to being previously homeschooled, but she quickly adapts and learns, being a social butterfly helps her with learning what it's like to have friends. She loves gossip and most definitely has neurodivergency or a learning disability of some sort. She also has a prosthetic leg (up to her thigh) due to a childhood accident that made her afraid of heights. She is albino but is naturally resilient against UV radiation.

Gender - cisgender, She/Her

She is also polyamorous.

Later in her early adulthood she and Brandon get engaged, but Brandon is also perfectly okay with Bloom tagging along despite not being in a relationship with her.

Flora

The most feminine girly-girl in the group, her mother was a witch so she has some "witchy" abilities. She is also vegan and herbivorous. She comes from a relatively poor family and studied in Linphea College low-income division. Consequently she grew up with a certain resilience and frugality. Now after fighting tooth and nail to get into Alphea, she uses half of her Alphea stipend to pay for Mieles education so that her sister doesn't have as much of a difficult time with her education as she did. She is still the mom of the group, a follower of rules and very spiritual. She is neurotypical, and most definitely latina, heavily freckled and plus size.

Sexuality - Heterosexual

Gender - Cisgender, She/Her

She is monogamous and values loyalty to her partner, she also dislikes hurrying with relationships.

Later in life in her early adulthood she starts planning on settling down with Helia, she appreciates that Helia respects her not wanting to hurry their relationship. She finds much more enjoyment in a relationship by taking things slowly.

Musa

Our resident spunky party girl, a jokester that will bite back if you make fun of her short height. She is much smaller than the rest of the girls. Ironically she is introverted just like Techna, but she doesn't let that deter her from socialisation. She is the most low-income girl in the group, the only reason why she was admitted to Alfea was because her previous special education school noticed that her fairy magic was developing much faster than her peers and that she needed experienced mentors to help her learn how to control her magic before it could go awry and seriously harm her. She also likes dark magic... for some reason that would not be known untill much MUCH later in her life. She possibly has either or both anxiety and PTSD, and she is definitely neurodivergent. And it's not news that she is Asian, specifically Chinese.

Sexuality - pansexual

Gender - cisgender, demiboy, She/Her/He/Him, tomboy

She is the one who is most likely to not be serious about settling down with anyone, she generally dislikes the idea of choosing a parner for the rest of her life.

Later in her early adulthood she becomes Aishas "roommate", wink wink nudge nudge.

Tecna

The most introverted of the group, a total homebody. She largely does her own thing, she studies a majority of her lessons in Alfea online, only coming out to lessons that require physical involvement. It is very logical and can be quite insensitive at times, it also has difficulty understanding sarcasm and humor. Although being very stoic and not understanding emotions she still gets upset from being misgendered, overwhelmed or generaly hurt in anyway. It either has autism, ADHD or both. Tecna is nonverbal most of the time and can use both the sign languages of Zenith and the common English, she also incorporates technology to help her have a voice whenever she can't speak and the other person doesn't know sign language, she can't lip read as faces scare her. It is mixed race but appears as caucasian, she is also a descendant of a extinct pixie species only native to Zenith. Except for its head and upper torso nearly 40% of its body is replaced with cyborg parts that she maintains by herself. Much like all other people on Zenith Tecna has a high tolerance for cold temperatures but has more difficulty in warm temperatures.

Even simply friendship is a difficult concept for her, she doesn't mind romance or trying it out but any close relationships die out as quickly as they come, except for the Winx group and Timmy. It also eventually figures out enough about romance to be wildly protective of Musa against Riven and understands Aishas sadness about Nabu.

Later in early adulthood Tecna lives with Musa and Aisha in a separate room where it can spend multiple days just doing whatever technology or programing stuff, and if she feels like it then she chats with Timmy, though more than likely they would just have a gaming session instead of having any conversation, though she doesn't mind just listening to him talk.

Aisha

A sporty gym girl, she has also trained in some close combat fighting styles and incorporates this knowledge in her fairy-form battles. But most of her physical aptitude comes from more than excellent swimming capability. This has resulted in her being incredibly muscular at early age. Being a princess just like Stella and Bloom she can also be considered as the most diplomatic of the group and despite not exactly liking being a princess she understands her position well and knows her place on the grand scheme of things. She takes her princess status surprisingly seriously, caring immensely about her people. She is a siren descendant and has gills and retractable razor sharp claws. She also has fought some sea monsters native to Andros and is immensely proud of the scars gained in these battles. She is black but it must be remembered that on Andros being black is considered as Earths Albino, except on Andros these people are treated like royalty or just high status for their rarity.

Gender - Cisgender She/Her, intersex

She dislikes the concept of arranged marriages and plans to abolish this rule when she eventually gains reign on Andros.

In early adulthood she was engaged to Nabu and was halfway done with marriage planning when tragedy struck and Nabu fell into a coma with a high possibility of never waking up. Eventually after living with Musa for several years she gained some feelings for the smaller woman and started a queer relationship with her, not wanting to try settling down seriously with anyone as her heart is forever loyal to Nabu.

 flora  is  the  guardian  fairy  of  nature  from  linphea  and  one  of  the  founding  members  of  the  winx  club.  she’s  also  a  student  of  alfea:  a  college  for  fairies  that  trains  alongside  the  so  called  specialists  though  how  much  more  special  than  a  bunch  of  fairies  can  it  get,  amirite?  alongside  bloom,  stella,  musa,  aisha  and  tecna,  she  finds  herself  tangled  up  in  adventures  only  the  fiercest  and  most  irresponsible  of  heroines  could  get  themselves  into  and  more  importantly:  out  of.  due  to  her  caring,  kind  and  motherly  nature  the  team  dubbed  her  the  fairy  squad  mother  and  often  relies  on  her  for  potions  and  advice.

Fate: The Winx Saga Otherworld HC - School edition

Cloudtower is the second most prestigious fairy college in Solaria

Cloudtower was founded by blood witches pretending to be a regular human college. Later fairies used the tower to start a fairy college.

Some ppl are upset they didn't change the name though

Cloudtower is known for teaching shady battle tactics and magic - fighting fire with fire, evil with evil- is practically their unofficial policy.

Because of the name and the teaching methods, some ppl wonder if blood witch apologism and related ideologies are being passed down there.

Rosalind hated Cloudtower because of that, even though her teachings were quite similar in certain ways, as she had the same "win at all cost" mentally.

Linphea college, Alfea and Cloudtower are considered the best fairy schools in the Otherworld

Other notable schools are the the Malacoy Paladion Academy ( in Linphea), the Imperial academy of Melody, the Seely College ( in Andros) and Fairy College of Zenith city.

Red fountain was a specialist school in Solaria, but it got destroyed centuries ago, and never rebuilt because it was decided that since fairies and specialist have to work closely together in combative situation, they might as well be trained together. Having them on the same campus made joint practices easier, and allowed faculty to develope curriculums for fairies and specialist that complemented each other.

some colleges adopted the idea of merging specialist and fairy colleges.

Linphea college and Malacoy Paladin Academy were two of those colleges, though their specialists are called Paladins, because in the early days of college, Linphean fighters had a different code of conduct and skill sets, so they had a different name.

Zenith and Solaria have the largest quantity of high ranking colleges that teach non-combative and non magical classes.

Solaria has the best and most military schools and specialist training institutions.

Eraklyon is a close second, and has proportionally the most military schools and specialist training institutions both per capita and in terms of how many colleges each realm has.

Eraklyon has the worst education system, and only the military schools are of significant quality.

When Sky came to it, the first thing he noticed was that he was in a hospital ward. He could smell the antiseptic and there was some awful bandage around his head, too tight and making him want to scratch under it.

As the world came into focus, he attempted to sit up on the bed and understand what exactly was going on. There was a girl sitting next to his bed, cheek resting on her hand and deeply asleep. She had red hair and a frown on.

He didn't know who she was.

He turned his head and tried to get a better assessment of what had happened and how the hell he had ended up in the hospital with a stranger sitting next to him.

His fumbling around woke up the ginger and she blinked slowly and rubbed her eyes, "You're awake."

"Yeah... Sorry, hi- Have we met?"

She let out a sigh, almost frustrated, maybe a little annoyed, "we have, yeah. You're Sky-"

"I know my name."

But then he realized, with a flash of panic, that sadly this was the only thing he knew. He was Sky Eraklyon, he was 22 and he was born in July. He was good with humanities and liked strawberry ice cream and his drink of choice was cheap beer and his parents- His mom- His dad-

Sky let out a noise, which sent the girl standing up and moving closer to his bed.

"Hey, breathe. Breathe, you're alright."

"Who are you? Why don't I remember you? Why can't I remember anything?" Sky mumbled, words slurring together as he hyperventilated. Why was he in the hospital? What had happened? And if he couldn't remember the last days, then what about the last years? How come it was all just gone...?

"Sky" she grabbed his hand and squeezed it and he let out a pained whine, looking at her in pure panic, "you're safe, okay? You hit your head pretty badly and the doctors said the memory loss is absolutely normal. You should get your memories back soon-"

"And if I don't?!" Sky gasped and then he felt a splitting headache, as if someone was trying to shove a hot poker through his left eye. He groaned and grabbed at his head, only to have his hand carefully removed.

"You're going to mess up the bandages again" ginger explained, holding his hand, "If you don't remember, then we'll help you, okay? You're safe. I promise I'll explain everything, just calm down."

Sky offered her the tiniest of nods, "What's- What's your name?"

She smiled for the first time since waking up, "I'm Beatrix. I'm your sister."

Her name was Beatrix and she was freshly turned 20 and she was his half-sister. She went to college in Linphea and he used to frequent a different one in Solaria, but had come back home recently. Their father was coming over to release him from the hospital.

"What about my mother...?"

"She passed a long time ago, Sky. I'm sorry."

He didn't feel sorry. Hell, he didn't feel much toward anyone there. Beatrix had been nothing but kind and helpful so far, even if she seemed to have very little patience, so he felt a swell of gratitude for her. Other than that, nothing.

"It's fine" he shrugged, slowly getting up and closing the partition around his bed, putting on the sweats Bea had gone out to get for him, "what happened anyway? How did I hit my head?"

"Car accident", she answered quickly and Sky raised an eyebrow. His head hurt like a motherfucker, yeah, but other than that he felt... Fine. Maybe his left ankle hurts a little bit too, but that was it. He wasn't sore at all.

"Elaborate?"

"You were driving home from a game and it was raining. Your car hit a tree."

"A game?" Sky slowly maneuvered his head inside the hoodie and tried to get it through without ruining the bandages, "do I play something?"

"No, you were watching it", she sounded impatient already and Sky c could see her pacing around through the curtain. He sat on the bed to put on his sneakers and when he bent at the waist the whole world went black for a second, before returning in little colorful dots that bounced everywhere.

Bloom.

"Sky?"

He blinked and shook his head, then continued tying his sneakers, "I'm done."

Beatrix pushed the partition away once more and opened a smile that looked like a wince, "you have to use this-" she pointed a wheelchair and he let out a scoff.

"I was just standing."

"Hospital policy," Beatrix shrugged, "dad is downstairs, he's discharging you."

"Alright..." Sky frowned, getting up from the bed and getting in the wheel chair. It had big wheels, which made it easier for Beatrix to push him toward the elevator, "Bea?"

"Yes?"

"Who's Bloom?"

She leaned in, pressed the elevator button, "No one that I know of."

And he would've believed her, wasn't it for the reflective front of the elevator, showing a silver Beatrix with eyes wide, white knuckling the handles behind his chair.

Bloom, he thought. She sounded important.

I have this theory that’s a bit of a reach but do you think it’s possible that Fairies base their transformation outfits off what they see around them? That would probably explain why Fairies from other schools like Linphea College have different outfits than the ones at Alfea.

I think that (at least) the basic form of every fairy is reflected by their own personality and sense of style.

Which is why the fairies of different generations have very different outfits.

Exactly the freshmen witches siding with the Trix makes sense since they hardly know what the Trix can do, and they may only know much about the Trix being criminals. But the witches at Cloud Tower who went through a lot because of the Trix is really stupid I get that some may fear them, but given witches attitudes some would have at least tried to stop the Trix, especially if Lucy was included because Lucy wanted to be a good witch like Griffin so she could have done something.

Whatever we saw from the witches that did fight on the side of the Trix (in the first half of the season) did not look like fear at all. They were actually pretty vicious and looked like they were enjoying causing mayhem at Linphea college. I just think they should have taken more care when writing that. They had already fucked up with the witches and their characterization and they just added to that.
