this track took a lot of energy out of me, but i think its pretty self evident that i had a lot of fun with it. as always, lots of experimentation went into this especially in the EQ and mixing departments. hopefully it sounds ok

if theres one thing i dont miss and am glad is a bygone thing, its screamers. like thats one part of the early internet that im glad is no longer a popular thing to do

i feel like heavy and demo both have that point and laugh thing down pat, no other class does it with quite the same energy

heavy makes it so grandiose and goodnatured, like you just told him a good joke

demo is just laughing at you because you just placed a sentry, but its a mischief kind of laugh rather than a malicious one

it does genuinely confuse me a little bit how some people dont quite understand that videogames are digital toys that we play and use in our own ways.

like one person was like "why arent you fighting back?" to me while i was chilling in one of those trade/idle team fortress 2 servers. and i responded, "i dont want to. im not mad at you for killing me, but im just here to chill and be social with people, dont expect me to fight back or something"

their response? "its an fps, what else are you going to do? are you stupid?"

i left the discussion off with "its a digital toy that we have different ways of playing. youre entitled to killing me repeatedly in the game with guns and shooting and i wont object, and im entitled to shitposting and gesturing in the game that has goofy shitposty gestures in a goofy server. not a very difficult concept to understand, i would hope"

axel made a good point that a large dip in peoples interaction with me also happens to coincide with how i stomped my foot down and said that i do not want people talking to me a certain way. cuz hes right, ive always had an issue with people that strictly only stick around for The Suggestive Stuff and thats it, and some people dont like to be reminded that i am not fap fodder
