I wanted to do that thing going around where people drew the different version of one link across the aus, and the Classic Lonks of my favorite aus felt like a good option lol.

Mask was more outspoken during the war than he is now, but that might just be that he’s gotten used to loneliness as a teenager. Commander—Captain, back then—played a large part in helping Mask adjust from Termina, even though neither of them ever asked for a brother. Pirate was also a part of their merry band, much to the captain’s chagrin about another child being on the battlefield.

Using the blorbos sparring as a little treat to force me to practice poses from reference. Loosely looking at Robinsword's HEMA videos on Youtube.

So here's some of my Link redesigns sparring, showing the range of Hylian (and Gerudo/Hylian for Tiny) heights. Downfall timeline Hylians are tiniest, then Adult timeline Hylians (not shown), Child timeline Hylians are almost human height, and Tiny is just a freak related to Ganondorf.

Why are they all together and sparring? I don't knooooooooow.

From left-to-right:

Tiny's (Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask) great fairy sword is a bit too small, alas. I'm also switching his messed up ear to the left to match the Hero's Shade. He's wearing long sleeved shirts and fingerless gloves to cover up the scales left over from his transformation masks. I think he's 55 years old or so here (physically).

Link from A Link Between Worlds gets a gambeson for his blue mail. I don't really know enough about Tri-Force Heroes to include much. He went to another country and got fashionable for a while I guess. He's still a metalworker like his original apprenticeship in ALBW but he's moved on to more decorative work, hence the fancy basket hilt on his sword (none of them get to keep the Master Sword). He's not the swordfighter that his opponent is, but he's fought Gramps before, he's not scared. Probably 27 here.

Link from Hyrule Warriors has the Darkmagic Sword and he's in Landsknecht inspired half-plate. He's probably one of the best swordfighters out of the Links. About 37 here.

Wild wakes to find Mini curled into a small ball by his side and someone growling softly. He pries open an eye to look over the camp. Sky is still asleep. Time, however, is wide awake and sitting up. He’s using the pile of pinecones Hyrule and Lorule collected and is tossing them at Warriors.

Another pings off the delta’s head, drawing another growl. “Time, what do you want.” It’s more a hiss than a question.

“You should wake up the others.” Time is far too alert for pre-dawn; maybe from living on a ranch.

“You’re beta, you do it!” Warriors burrows further into his blanket.

Time throws another pinecone, catching it in his hair.

“Fine! I’m up!” Warriors yanks back his blanket and flashes a fang at Time. “Now, what’s so important you can’t do it?”

Time blinks at him. “I’m tired.” Then he lays down and rolls up in his bedding.

Warriors is left spluttering and snapping at the air, before devolving into death threats that slowly fade into silence. Time doesn’t move.

Wild watches the interaction, curious as to what relationship is between the delta and beta. Warriors does go and wake the others, collecting the tossed pinecones as he goes.

Meeting Wild’s eyes, which are open, he bypasses the alphas and walks over to Time. The armful of pinecones is dumped on his head. Time sits up and flashes a fang, which Warriors ignores as he stalks back to his bed.

Summary:

3. Which character is the hardest to write for? Oh boy, good question. I’m not sure, I feel like Time and Wild in particular are hard to write. I try to make Wild more of a comic relief, but he always sounds forced and too modern. He has this sort of dry humor in canon that’s kinda hard to replicate. Time is difficult too, having to write what I have in mind is a challenge. It’s just hard cuz linkverse fans are very particular about how Links are written and it’s kinda overwhelming to actually try out of fear of pissing off some lunatics. But yeah those two are hard.

5. Do any of the Links have full names? Nope! I suppose Hyrule’s real name is Orchard, but overall they’re just Link with no other names. They might have some middle names but frankly I don’t have the strength for that lol. Now if we’re talking about my TCOD original Link, HE has a full name, but he’s not in lbl so…

6. What’s one thing you’re proudest of making? Idk, I guess I’ll pick a comic page!

I really love how this page turned out. It’s scary, the effects turned out good, it portrays the horro that Link felt in this moment. The lighting also turned out good. It’s a shame this was scrapped cuz I really love this page. Hope that counts lol!
