They butt heads but soon are forced to fight together against the big bad evil corpo that is threatening to ruin Christmas for the small town. Then in the end they fall in love and the woman leaves the city to be with the small town guy. You were only a quarter  through the movie but every plot point was playing out like you expected. “Are you secretly a romantic or something, Toji?” You teased lightly, stealing some of the popcorn from the bowl and munching on them. Toji snorts; “I just like making fun of them, like look at how stupid everyone is. Especially the female lead, I mean, she’s leaving a rich lifestyle for some country town snob.” Now, you really didn’t expect Toji to be that invested into this plot, he rolls his eyes as the male lead accidentally bumps into the female lead, causing them to toppled on top of each other, looking longingly into each other's eyes. 

Toji makes snide comments here and there, his hand fully making its way under your shirt at the halfway point of the movie, just keeping it there for warmth. You eventually settled in, enjoying your boyfriend’s warmth, the cheesy movie, and stealing most of the popcorn from under his nose. Toji’s hand goes to the popcorn bowl only to find it empty, and he turns to you with a small frown. “What happened to all the popcorn?” You shrugged with a mischievous grin, “Maybe the ghost of Christmas’s past got to it?” Toji narrows his eyes at you, grabbing your salt covered hand and sticking your fingers in his mouth. “Hmm, taste like a liar and a thief to me.” 

He purposely drools on your hand, his grip iron tight on your wrist not letting you escape. “Ew! Toji! Stop that.” He only chuckles cruelly in response pulling you in towards his chest and tickling your sides. You squirm and wiggle in his grasp, trying to escape, only to be then pushed down on the couch with Toji on top. His hands still glued to your sides, fits of giggles bubble from your lips. Then both your attentions get torn back to the Tv as the climax of the movie is reached and a loud and cheerful Christmas song is played as the two main leads are seen going for a kiss under a mistletoe. 

Toji snorts but an idea pops into his head as he watches the scene, he squishes your cheeks in his massive palm, making you pucker your lips together. “This is a fitting punishment for a thief like you..” He leans in, his whole tongue sticking out as he licks your lips messily, chuckling at your whining and squirming. Shushing you with a proper kiss this time, his lips searing itself to yours, his tongue coming out again to poke and prod it way in your awaiting mouth. Tasting the salt from the popcorn and some sweetness from the hot cocoa you were sipping on. He pulls away, leaving your face and lips a mess. So according to Charlie’s point of view, ever since Lucifer and Lilith split, he never called or hung out with her unless he needed a favor. He also didn’t even know where she was or what she was doing, so he hasn’t been in her life at all for years. Hell, Charlie even says she barley knew him af a young age. And yet he’s portrayed as a wimpy goofball, who desperately wants to reconnect with her the moment she calls, even celebrating the fact that she wanted to see him. So….why did he never see her before? The episode never explains that. They act as if he’s been wanting to reconnect with her for so long and was depressed due to it, yet according to what we’re told, he never put in the effort to actually go see her all these years, he didn’t even know about her life or the hotel project. It also threw me off on how he instantly agreed to help her run the hotel, he was so happy and eager so why didn’t he do that sooner?

And as expected, Lucifer isn’t called out on this. In fact, he sings about how much he cares about Charlie, how she’s the only thing worth protecting and he’ll adore her. Cool beans man, but if you cared about her that much, you had a funny way of showing it by doing nothing for 7 years. The only thing he’s “demonized” for is the fact that he has no hope for sinners, and no hope for Heaven agreeing to redeem them, but they just pull the “he was an uwu baby who’s dreams were crushed and he doesn’t want the same to happen to his daughter”- and then it’s all lazily patched up in the end. Like I see so many fans cry and say how much of a good dad Lucifer is, yet the dialogue leaves me to believe otherwise lol, like he ignored his daughter for years and only used her when it would benefit him. It’s just really confusing cause the Lucifer we meet doesn’t match up with the Lucifer they built up, the pilot is confirmed canon so he still technically called her a failure and if anything you’d think Charlie would have a closer relationship with her mother instead— like….I’m 100% convinced him being a bumbling softie and Lilith being the villain was a last minute decision.

And even then, when “More than Anything” started, it made me feel nothing cause the show forgot to build up on Lucifer and the relationship between his daughter ON screen as well as taking time to make their rekindling feel earned. Instead none of it is earned, and I’m getting tired of Viv excusing and wanting us to applaud her goofy dad characters for doing the bare minimum lol. (Cough, Stolas).

Adam was sitting on a couch, idly strumming the strings of his guitar which, to be perfectly honest he didn’t need to because it was already fucking perfect, but still. It was one of the few things that calmed him so whoever tried to give him shit for it would get a fuck you.

Lucifer shrugged. “Fine then, be a mopey sack of shit.” Lucifer walked around the couch and flicked his hand, the bag disappearing with a bit of magic and being replaced with a plate of ribs that he placed on the table. “Eve though I should give you these since you’ve been rather pissy as of late.” Lucifer stepped back and straightened out his coat, causing what looked like strands of hair to fall off-

Adam sat up a bit straighter and sniffed the air.

Lucifer yelped as he suddenly pulled into Adam’s lap, guitar disappearing in a flash of light to make room. Adam wrapped his hands around the devil’s torso and started to rub his cheek against Lucifer’s own. “Adam?” Lucifer chuckled. “What the fuck are you doing?”

“Shut the fuck up, stay quiet, and don’t fucking move.” Adam pulled his lips back into a snarl and Lucifer, wisely, decided to stay still.

“I know,” Eve’s smile turned melancholic. “It hurt to see how much he changed, he was so sweet and kind, he wasn’t perfect but he was my husband.” Eve’s smile dropped as she took a breath and let it go, before a small, genuine smile reappeared. “But that’s behind us now, and now that he’s no longer in Heaven, we have eternity to rebuild, don’t we?”

Lilith stared down at what many believed to be the first woman, an indecipherable emotion in her eyes. She questioned how such a kind and pure woman managed to come from Adam of all people, before shaking her head. “Fine.” She sighed. “But if he does something to Lucifer I’m punting him.”

Eve giggled. “Of course, I never said you couldn’t.”

When they got home, they paused. Eve blinked, a hand reaching up to cover her lips as she stared in gleeful surprise while a confused scowl appeared on Lilith’s face.

“Heeey girls!” Lucifer waved at the two, before quickly dropping that back to his side to pacify Adam. The mentioned First Man was busy rubbing his face into the crook of Lucifer’s neck with a plate of (surprisingly) untouched ribs left in front of the two.

“Eve what the fuck is he doing-”

“He’s marking his territory!” Eve squealed and ran forward, letting go of Lilith’s hands and jumped onto the crouch and onto both Lucifer and Adam in the process. Adam lifted his head as Eve shifted herself into his lap and he sniffed her once then scowled, extending a wing before closing it over her.

Lilith stood off to the side, arms crossed and thoroughly perplexed at what she’s seeing. “Adam.” She called, causing the fallen to glance towards her for a brief second. “Do you have any plans to release my husband anytime soon?”

She sighed when Adam didn’t respond, before the pleading eyes of Eve stared at her from over the edge of Adam’s wing. 

She scowled.

Eve made her eyes bigger.

She stood there for a moment, thoroughly determined to not involve herself. Which ultimately failed as her walls crumbled and she sighed, walking around the cough and standing in front of the only part of Adam’s lap currently unoccupied she considered if she was really about to do this.

She sat down.

Adam freezed under her weight, before wrapping a wing around her as well.

That was the day that they discovered Adam, First Man and most recent fallen, was apparently incredibly territorial when it involved who smelled like who.

However, these are not TSC scans, and some of the translations are a little dodgy, but the main idea comes across (for example, there is a frame of Shanks telling the young viking boy we saw in the Shanks and Elbaph scenes to make sure he keeps an eye out for Straw Hate Luffy. The boy's excited to meet him, so I hope it's a typography error, but a pretty big one to make! Anyway, I'll refer to the official, when it's out. Seems to be. Other scan caps don't have this error.

Also, like I know that Lilith is a softie at heart, but Oda seems to be making her very soft (this was the second time in this chapter). I liked her impetuous violence!
