.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ You were a few years older than the twins, but you were very close to them as well as being a constant figure for them as they grew up. You were what they would describe as the best sibling in the world, even though you liked to make fun of them and make jokes that embarrassed them in front of people, like any good old sibling would do.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ When you had free time, you enjoyed teaching them chess and other logic games, loving the way the expressions on their faces were confusing whenever you used a different strategy. These were simple times when the whole family would get together to watch you play while everyone chatted. Times that were lost after the attack, all the joy, all the warmth, that mixed with the sad blue of the wallpaper until it turned the entire mansion into something cold.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ Ciel came back, lost, deeply hurt, and you were the only person he told what happened. The whole kidnapping and the cult, and it broke your heart, your brilliant little brother was an unresponsive blank as he recounted the facts, as if he didn't want to realize the impact that that event had on him. As if he was still on autopilot and couldn't let his guard down. And things were worse now that he had lost his twin brother, who he was as attached to as you were.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ But you were there to support him every step of the way, holding his hand after a nightmare, wiping the rare tears from his eyes, listening to everything he had to say. Ciel's stubborn and prideful, he never asks for help but he has this serene smile on his face when you go out of your way to help him anyway. You knew he was strong for withstanding all the pressure, for enduring everything he went through and for having the strength necessary to overcome everything, and you reminded him of that in each of his "weak moments". It reminded him that he was loved and that you would always be by his side.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ He's still twelve, he's still a child, and you're always telling him stories to sleep and taking him out to take his mind off his trauma. Sometimes you just sit next to him and listen to him express his thoughts.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ Ciel can be a little overprotective sometimes, which is funny considering you should be the overprotective one due to the age difference. He always sends Sebastian with you on your errands, to protect you from some attack or someone. And you don't complain, his intentions are good and you can understand the anxiety he feels upon knowing that those responsible for the attack are free and alive.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ Being a few years older, you know a lot about balls, about every important person and how to negotiate with them. And you teach each of these things to Ciel when he decides to claim the title of Queen's Watchdog, giving advice and sharing your opinion whenever he asks you, being by his side as his left hand.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ And being his left hand means that you and Sebastian interact on a daily basis, protecting Ciel, going on missions together, collecting information and the such.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ In private, when your masks can finally fall, you call him by his real name, hug him lightly and let him know that no matter what, you'll be there for him. Always.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ Ciel actually told you everything, everything except that he made a contract with a demon. He hopes you can forgive him when the contract is completed, when he and his soul disappear from this world, without any chance of seeing you one last time in the so-called paradise.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ Even after your death, Ciel might remember the loving way you sat in the chair next to his bed when he was sick and took care of him. He will remember the silly promises you made, the bad jokes you told him to make him laugh until his stomach hurt, the little adventures to steal cookies on Christmas morning. Things too precious for him.

In my cult of the lamb game I have a whole ass bat family, it started with Putre as I wanted some followers to work through the night (and who better than a bat) and then things escalated from there-

with his first bio daughter asking for her sister from dark wood (who are you fooling girl, you are surprise adopting lol) to him having another bio son to the adopted daughter to ask for her brother in darkwood TO THE BIO SON TO ASK ME TO MURDER THE NEE ADOPTED SON AS SOON AS HE WAS INDOCTRINATED

Anyway more silly info bellow

-Putre is the priest and one in charge to keep the materials for rituals safe and ready to use while alerting the lamb if they are ever low on materials

-Is extremely grateful to have his brother in the cult and to even grow his family in the cult, he's relieved that his two biological kids will never have to see the horrors from the lands of the old faith and that his adopted ones at least won't have to suffer... He's not sure how to feel about how anytime he, his family or another cult member dies the lamb revives them always....

-Based on my game he's friends with almost everyone on the cult, including Baal, narinder and shamura amongst others. (Dad energy was that powerful ig)

-Is the younger one of his siblings (though he's not so sure anymore)

- He's black with blue painting

-Fion is still finding his place at the cult, he does bring food from outside occasionally despite Putre's insistence to not exit cult grounds

-Putre asked for the lamb to rescue his brother from dark wood. The lamb made it but not in time

-Had to be revived

-the eye painting in his forehead was scratched by heretics so now the scars look like an X over them.

-His ears also got a bit shredded, can't echolocate as well :(

-After recovering from the fact his lil bro got game before him (lol nah he was just in shock), he actually was pretty happy to see Putre doing well and for him to be an uncle.

- Hungre is the eldest child (Kept young by the lamb themselves along the majority of kids born or brought into the cult)

-Wanted a sister and decided the lamb would be the fastest way to get one

- Has not seen the lands of the old faith once in her life.

-Was also unsure about the lamb at first and clinged to Putre and Hungre

- Wears a long red dress to try and imitate her dad church attire

-After having a little brother Feno decided "And another One" and did the same strategy as Hungre and asked the lamb

- Wasn't bothered that the one the lamb managed to find wasn't a Bat, he's adorable!!

-Has better flying abilities than Hungre since she had more space to learn (tcotl devs place expand the cult grounds I will sacrifice my firstborn for it)

- Angy that he isn't the youngest brother anymore

-didnt like that the lamb didn't kill thorar when he asked for

-Has yet to warm up to him

-Once tried to sneak out of the cult out of curiosity to see what was so scary about the outside

-As soon as he saw a purple spider and the god merchant (Wich I Named Light) he turned tail and ran

-Has yet to learn to fly

-He's a dark blue

- Doesn't understand too well what's going on

-A bit afraid of Pano since he heard him request the lamb to kill him

-Is still getting used to sisterly love and having a new parent

-Putre often holds him when it's night since he's still getting used to the moon necklace more slowly than the bats and still gets groggy and sleepy

-Misses his family, darkwood..... not so much

-Since he was mostly hid by his original family (only for heretics to still find them) he hasn't really seen a shrine/statue of Leshy he doesn't know he is one of the bishops (and neither that the other weird followers are bishops themselves)

We had a lot of tackled issues awhile ago... My biological mother open an issue about the separation issue of me and Ryan that my siblings thought it was because of my Aunt Teresa... Coz my siblings told her that they saw me happy with Ryan hahah.... This is simply a story... My siblings said that they saw me happy and the reason of my separation was my Aunt Teresa.

The real thing at the latter part of our relationship Aunt Teresa talked to Ryan... But it was a fair talk about us... The real reason was his mother called me that why we were together? That they still need him in the family and they need the money. My X-Ryan was a seaman/ seafarer...

“You can’t plan Christmas like a battle strategy Dami,” Jon groaned as Damian wheeled a whiteboard into their living room. “Actually, I’ve found it to be quite similar. Pay attention Kent, I know sticking to the plan has never been your strong suit.” Damian’s foot was tapping like crazy, Jon noted his clear anxiousness- needless to say Damian wasn’t the holiday type. Makes it a million times harder when it’s your first Christmas together as a couple.

Jon gasped as Damian flipped the whiteboard like a school teacher, revealing meticulously drawn out plans mapped in expo-marker. “We start with my family, we stay until Jason is ten shots in, after that Christmas always becomes a nightmare so we head out. With your super speed it’ll be only an 14 minutes 37 second trip to your family where we stay for the majority of the night. At the end you rush us back to Gotham to console Dick after Bat-Christmas fails as always. Our emergency word is tyrannosaurus should anything go wrong at the drop we flee. Any questions?” Damian was flying through the plans, pointing at bulleted lists and analyzing possible flaws. 

Jon took a deep breath, a smile creeping over his face. “I didn’t think you’d care so much about our first Christmas together with our families, it’s kind of sweet.” Lazily he reached for Damian, clinging to his back while Dami shook his head, mumbling as he edited the board. “Not really our first Christmas Kent and I definitely do not care about family tt,” Jon didn’t reply, he just smiled into the crook of Damian’s neck.

“Our suits bring down our aerodynamic potential so I’ve taken the liberty of adjusting our arrival time to 15 minutes 43 seconds. Does that sound accurate?” Jon hummed in response as he straightened Damian’s tie, it was already perfect but he’d take any excuse to get closer to Dami. “Ready my love?” Jon glanced at Damian who was checking his watch. “Yes.” Damian responded, absent mindedly clasping Jon’s hand as they made their way to the mansion. 

“DAMI’S HERE!” Steph’s screech announced. She was hanging off the banister as she stole popcorn pieces from the massive tree. “Wonderful- Miss Brown I must ask you don’t eat the decorations tonight, have some festivity,” Alfred shook his head as he made his way to Jon. “Magnificent of you to join us Master Kent, I assume you will also be heading to your family’s festivities as well?” Jon opened his mouth but Damian answered first. “Yes Pennyworth, we plan on just saying for hors devours,” his curt reply brought a knowing smile to Alfred’s lips. “Always planned with you Master Damian,” his accent was playful making Jon chuckle. 

Dick descended the stairs, Damian groaned at his bright green and red striped suit, Jon couldn’t help but laugh either. “Hellllooo super boyfriends! Are-You-Readyyyy-For-Tonight!” Dick practically skipped towards the two, pulling them into a tight hug before Damian could slip away. “We won’t be long Grayson we must attend the Kent family Christmas too,” Damian nodded curtly, shifting closer to Jon who got the message and moved forward into the living room. 

“Actually, where are all the bat-siblings? And where did Steph run off to?” Jon noticed no one was around but Alfred who was preparing something delicious in the kitchen. Dick began chuckling, a devilish smile spreading across his face. “Oh, everyone is down in the batcave. C’mon.” Damian looked taken-aback but Jon was never to shocked by batfamily-antics. 

The two followed Dick to the secret door. “Now, we heard from a little super birdy [Dick winked at Jon who was now openly grinning] that you were a little nervous about having to deal with two Christmas’ this year, so we felt it’d be easier for everyone if we just-” Dick popped open the door to a winter wonderland of a batcave. A large table was put out, filled with their family members. “Merry Christmas!” A chorus of laughter broke out as Damian’s jaw dropped. 

At the table were the batfam, Kents, and even a couple speedsters littered around. All were laughing and smiling at one another. It was the biggest family gathering Jon has seen ever. “No need for crazy plans my love, just enjoy tonight with everyone,” Jon whispered to Damian as he scanned the room. “I- How did you- Thank you,” Damian settled on the last words of praise for the wonderful man who made every single day better. “No need for thanks, I’d get you the world if you wanted it, but for now let’s have a very Merry Christmas!” Jon took off towards his family and Damian would help but feel the corners of his lips betray him with a smile. Heart full he made his way down to his family.

“JASON DO NOT FLIRT WITH KARA SHE’S OFF LIMITS!”

Okay so I haven’t absorbed much batfam content at all for weeks so hopefully my spin on the HC is still cute : )

I don’t think Jon gets enough credit for how observant he is. 

Too often Jon is forgotten, the second super boy, the sidekick, the boyfriend, the man who left everyone for space. 

It’s true, technically. But Jon is so keen at reading those around him, especially the un-readable Damian Wayne that I would argue it’s a super skill in of itself.

He gets it from his mother you know, Superman was always a little dense, but, though no one believes it, he always had Lois to help him out. Too often the quieter, smarter, more analytical side gets forgotten and that’s no different with Jon. His friends don’t see the way he checks up on them, taking in their facial expressions and reading them to know the right thing to say at the right time to help them out. They don’t realize he spent whole days memorizing their heart beats and their breaths to know if they’re ever in peril. And they don’t see the way he looks at them so fondly, beyond grateful they’re in his life.

Lois sees it.

She saw it when Jon met Damian. 

A young boy mesmerized by the wittiness and strength in the human boy. The greatest irony, the Superboy more human than the murder weapon now called “Robin”. But the two hit it off almost instantly- though Damian may not agree to that last bit. 

Lois knew Jon adored Damian, every deep red was “Robin Red” every Wayne Ent. building they walked past brought up stories of his adventures with the youngest Wayne, every Justice League trip meant begging for his dad to send him to Gotham for the weekend while he was out. He was young, but Lois knew a pair of soulmates when she saw them. 

There were these nights when they were teens. Jon would burst out of bed and rush to his mother. He never needed to say anything. There was this look in his eyes, Damian needs me. “Go” she’d always whisper, pressing a quick kiss to his forehead thinking back to when Clark would do the same for her. 

She remembers the frantic December weeks Jon spent toiling on Damian’s Christmas gift. “What do I give a trillionaire who has the world?” Jon would whine and mope around the house for any semblance of inspiration. 

Your heart Jon, all he wants is your love. Lois always thought to herself, she was quite aware of the two boy’s growing infatuation with each other, her husband was always slower in the “feelings” department and if he was slow she imagined Bruce was a damn sloth. So, she let the boys feel safe in her presence. Damian slowly spent more time at her home when Clark was out, she grew to have a sort of friendship with Damian. He’d comment on whatever news article she recently wrote, endure a three second reply and be on his way. She was always astounded at how up to date he was on all her pieces. 

Lois was always proud of the love Jon showed Damian. She’d be the first to tell Bruce he needed to hug his damn kids, but there was a special kind of caring Jon held only for Damian. A love woven only for the two of them. Like an invisible string linking them no matter where in the universe the other was at, there was a friendship, a kindness, a passion, a love.

Overtime, Jon’s analysis of Damian led him to his own feelings. And over an even longer period of time Damian discovered his own. Jon never stopped caring, he never stopped worrying, and he never stopped loving. 

Those, are the parts of Superman that Damian, and the world, need most.

“Alright I’ve got them...” Aurelius dumps his books in the center of the little group consisting of Zulima, Max and himself. “Where’s ‘Zay?”

“Your dad wanted to talk to her as we passed by your parents’ room.” Max offered. “About what happened at RAD.”

The white- and black-haired boy nodded. “Alright then. Let’s get started then.” He flipped open to a random page and checked with his cousin and the human to make sure they hadn’t already covered the material yet: Transfiguration.

With a negative answer they began.

Arella was deciding on something to make for lunch, when Cyrus and Mahlon made it back home from their time out. As soon as the toddler could get his little shoes off, Mahlon was in the kitchen tugging on the hem of his mother’s shirt as he bounced like an excited puppy.

“Mama! Mama! Mama! ‘M hungry. When’s lunch?” He asks with wide green-to-blue-to gold gradient eyes. “Awso- Awso- Awso, me ‘n Cy... me ‘n Cy saw a weally pwetty kitty on da way home.”

“You did?” She asks with a soft chuckle. “Well, I’m not sure what I’m making for lunch just yet so why don’t you help me decide. Sound good?”

The toddler nods as Arella picks him up and places him on the counter. Cyrus enters the kitchen shortly thereafter.

“Sorry I couldn’t keep him occupied longer, Mum.” The half-demon reaches into the fridge to grab out a sportsdrink. “I know Dad’s not in the best of shape today so I tried to get Mahlon to stay out with me longer but he wouldn’t have it. Is he doing any better now, though?”

“A little bit...” Arella nodded. “He and your sister fell asleep together upstairs so I’ll wake them when lunch is finished.”

“’Zay’s home?!” Mahlon’s eyes lit up as he hopped down. “I wanna see ‘er.”

“Mahlon, honey, no. You’ll wake them right now.”

“But I wanna see ‘em!” The boy complains.

“They’re not going anywhere, Buddy.” Cyrus chuckled. “And I thought you said you were going to help Mum choose what’s for lunch?”

“Yeah.... Yeah but...”

“No buts, little one.” Arella smiled as she opened the fridge. “Your brother is up in his room with Zulima and Max. You can go see them if helping decide what’s for lunch doesn’t interest you anymore.”

Mahlon nodded taking off for the stairs as Arella turns back to the fridge to continue her task

“Auwelius!” Mahlon exclaims as he jumps on his older brother’s back. “Why’dyu come home eawly? Hi, Zuli!” His multicolored eyes narrowed when he noticed Max, “Human... go away.”

“Hm?” The older teen looks back, “Don’t worry about it just yet, bud.” He ruffles Mahlon’s fluffy black hair. “Also don’t talk to Max like that. You may be the baby of the family but that doesn’t mean you get to act like a brat.”

Mahlon on let out a hmph as he turned his attention to one of the spell books. “What’s that?”

“It’s a spell for transfiguration,” Zulima explained.

“Can I see how it's done?”

“Sure,” Max offers, “I can do it for you.”

“No!” The toddler growled as he glared at her. “I wasn’t asking you. I was asking Auwelius or Zuli. Not you, Stupid.”

“Whoa,” Both Aurelius and Zulima cut in.

“Cool your jets there, Mahlon.” Zulima started, “Max just offered to show you what you wanted to see. You don’t have to be mean.”

“If you can’t act nicely, then you can go. The door’s that way.” Aurelius points toward the door. “The three of us are trying to study.”

“No! I wanna stay! I wanna stay!” The nearly three-year-old shouts as Aurelius covers Mahlon’s mouth with his hand.

“Mahlon, stOP! You yellin’ at the top of your damn lungs like this is not a good thing. Dad’s probably sleeping right now. Do you really want to be the one that wakes him up?” Mahlon shakes his head as Aurelius removes his hand from his brother’s mouth. “That’s what I thought.”

“Too bad it already happened.” Mammon says as he leans against the doorframe. “Mahlon, apologize to Max and then go downstairs.”

“I’m not sayin’ sowwy. Not to ‘er,” Mahlon crossed his arms with a huff.

“It wasn’t optional, Mahlon. Say yer sorry. Right now.”

“No! You can’t make me!”

“I sure as hell can put ya in time out until yer ready to though. Downstairs, now- or do I gotta come over there and get ya myself?”

Mahlon only shook his head and marched out of Azalea’s room, headed downstairs for his punishment.

“Here’s yer phone back, Max. Send me that audio so I can get it to Lucifer and Lord Diavolo.” Mammon sighed, “There’s no excuse for the four of ya ta have had what was said ta ya said ta ya.”

The blue-eyed human only nodded as she put her phone away and the demon left.

As Mammon and Mahlon make their way downstairs, the demon flips on a 5-minute timer on his phone.

“When this timer goes off, I’ll come get ya and we’ll talk about why what ya did was wrong and why ya did it, ‘kay?” Mammon says as he puts Mahlon in a corner for his time out and the boy nodded. The white-haired demon flips on the time and heads into the kitchen to get something to drink.

“Hey, right behind ya,” he says as reaches over Arella to grab a water bottle from the fridge. “So... Mahlon’s in time out right now because he’s refusin’ to apologize to Max for callin’ her stupid.”

“What? really?” Arella looks up at him with wide eyes. “That’s the second time he’s done that while she’s been over...”

“Yeah ‘n it's gonna be the last too.” He hums, “I think he’s just jealous of her because ‘Zay gives Max the attention that he wants from her. Ya know how much he loves ‘er despite the way she treats him ‘n how possessive he gets over us or his siblings.”

“Yeah, I thought we’d managed to curb this behaviour from last time though...” She rubbed her temples. “How are you feeling though after you’ve had that nap? You ready for lunch, love?”

“I’m a lil’ better. Kinda nauseous from not eatin’ all morning so I’m more than ready for lunch. Maybe gettin’ some food in me’ll help kick the rest of this. I’m tired of just sittin’ around doin’ nothin’.

“Just take it easy, alright? Remember what the doctor said all those years ago? Rest is the quickest way to come out of this.”

“Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m just bored.” He sighed as the timer went off. “Welp, time to go talk to our son.” He took a swig out of his water bottle and went back out into the living room to talk to Mahlon.

“Alright, I’m going to wake Azalea and collect the others for lunch.” Arella says as she climbs the stairs.

“Azalea,” Arella calls softly as she’s tries to rouse her daughter from her nap for lunch. “Time to wake up, my little flower.”

“Don’t wannaaaaaa,” The teen only rolls further onto her side trying to bury her face in the pillow. “’m not hungry.”

“I know you don’t but you have to. You’ll never sleep tonight and then you’ll be tired for school the next day.”

“Noooo, I’ll be fine.”

Well, if her daughter was refusing to get up, Arella had other strategies to wake the girl. Her hands snuck to Azalea’s sides and she began to tickle the girl.

“Ah! Stop! Stop! I give!” The half-demon laughed as she tries to roll further away from Arella only for Arella to pull her back in when she was in danger of falling off the king-sized bed. “Mercy! Mercy!”

The human ceases the tickle attack as she holds her daughter close. “I’m glad you saw it my way,” She smiled. “Lunch is ready, Princess. Your brother and I made sandwiches.”

“Which one? I have two.”

“It was Cyrus and no- you have three brothers, Darling.”

“Does Mahlon really count?” She asked.

“What do you mean by that?”

“I mean he can’t do much in the way of helpin’ if he can’t even reach the bloody counter now, can he?”

“Oh, that’s what you meant,” She let out a relieved sigh as Azalea laughed softly.

“So, are ya ready to apologize to Max, now, Buddy.” Mammon asks as he sits with his youngest on the couch.

“No... I’m mad at her.” the black-haired boy puffs his cheeks out in a pout.

“You’re angry at her? Why? Did she do something to upset you?”

“She took ‘Zay away.”

“Whaddya mean by that, Mahlon?” The demon asks as he readjusts the boy on his lap. “Max didn’t take yer sister away from ya.”

“Yes, she did. ‘Zay don’t love me no more... She’s always with Max...”

“Mahlon, bud, that ain’t true,” The Avatar of Greed sighs. “Your Sis is just bad at showin’ those types of feelings sometimes but I promise you she does love ya... in her own way.”

“How do you know?” Mahlon’s multicolored eyes peer up at his father.

“Can I let ya in on a little secret?” He asks as Mahlon nods. “When you were a baby, Azalea hated ya. She didn’t want ya to be here- even still she’s not really yer biggest fan.”

“What? Why? Did I do someting wrong?”

“No, it's just that up until Mama and I had you, she didn’t have ta share our attention with anyone but Aurelius so she felt like you were taking us away from her and she felt like she was being replaced. Ya see, babies require a lot of work after their first born so we really didn’t have a lot of free time ta spend one on one with your brother and sister like we used to. She resented having ya around but as ya got older and ya started ta get more independent and not in need of constant supervision, she started ta calm down about it.”

“So she doesn’t like me?”

“She’s getting better about it. Ya just gotta give her time which leads me to my next point: You can’t be mean to Max. Not only is it wrong since she’s been nothing but nice to you, but do you really think your sister is going to like that you’re being rude and nasty to her friend?”

“... No...”

“So doncha think you should apologize?”

“Mhm...”

“That’s my good boy,” The demon ruffles his son’s hair. “It’s lunch time now so let’s go ahead and wash our hands and get to the table, ‘kay?”

“’Kay,” The toddler hops down from his father’s lap and heads off for the kitchen.

Video Games: Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki, Aizen Kunitoshi, Atsushi Toushirou

Oh ho, a fun lil headcanon set like this is so funnnn~!

Warnings: Not much I suppose?

Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki

Sweet MuMu adores video games where we can travel the world. Fantasy world, modern world, past, present, future, he don’t care! An open world game will suit him best! There’s so much to do, and like a lil puppy, MuMu want’s to explore it all!

Extra bonus points if there’s a part of the game where there is something to do with the ocean. He adores the sea after all! Boats, driving them, exploring the ocean, exploring the unknown, oh this TouDan will drink that shit up.

The games that come to mind are Assassin’s Creed: III, Black Flag, Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. Why? Most of them deal with exploring new lands and some of them deal with piloting ships! III, Black Flag, Odyssey, Origins, Valhalla to be more specific. Syndicate has guns and classy fashion. A little too much for Mutsunokami but he loves playing with the guns in the game - they are very similar in make to his own after all. he also rly likes the sea shanties in odyssey because i rly like them too

If Mutsunokami wants to relax and not play Assassin’s Creed where he goes around stabbing everything that moves, he will play Subnautica or Abzu or Journey to relax. Maybe even Animal Crossing! He loves the cute little animals but I personally think that games where he can just explore the world and meet new people and learn lore just make him happy the most.

Games MuMu would never play are horror games or anything with spiders in them. So Bayonetta and Devil May Cry are out. He loves the idea of gun-toting protagonists but nope, nope. Spiders? Bye fam.

Now that I think about it, he would just be Blathers. He can play Animal Crossing but Gods help him the minute he sees a spider in that damn game. “I THOUGHT THIS WAS A PEACEFUL GAME, WHY ARE THE SPIDERS TRYING TO KILL YOU” cue controller thrown at the television.

Oh MuMu adores party games! Can’t play Smash Bros or Mario Kart for shit. Watch him pay too much attention to the background and yeet himself off of the stage because he saw something shiny. He can kinda play though, but again he gets distracted the most. Buuut ask him to play Mario Party with the rest of the swords and damn right he will play!

Can and will make video games turn into a drinking game. MuMu adores competitive gaming with the rest of the citadel. Will start taking bets on who is gonna win and lose, and sure he may be a pouty loser but he’ll be fiine. But damn right he’ll yeet a tantou to ensure his win. No he won’t he’s not that cruel.

Mutsunokami also adores rhythm games! Taiko no Tatsujin because of Don-chan and the idea of playing with a lil taiko drum as a controller. He’s very much into music after all. There are times when he stops playing a game to just listen to the music and take it all in!

A guilty pleasure game he plays is probably Ghost of Tsushima. No he’s not checking out Jin’s ass whenever they go to a hot spring, what are you talking about? MuMu enjoys it because sometimes just going back to your roots and stabbing a ho is just what you need. dear khotun khan, eat shit

Aizen Kunitoshi

Aizen is also super big on rhythm games. As said above with Mutsunokami, Taiko no Tatsujin will be a favorite of his. He has a secret collection of Don-chan merch, no one is stopping him damn it. Just fucking tRY and take away his precious Don-chan(s). The only ones that can touch his prized collection are the rest of the Rai swords, other peeps he is close to, and maybe you if you two are close/you ask nicely. Get him some Don-chan pajamas and he’ll cry.

Aizen is also pretty good at fighting games, Street Fighter coming to mind because he adores over the top bullshit and the colors! The colors! He mains Ryu though, but he’s more than willing to try new characters!

He’s also pretty competitive at times, so he would adore playing fighting games with the rest of the swords at the citadel. Hotarumaru and he are always playing Smash Bros or Mario Kart, which ends up with a lot of broken controllers. Hotaru has been slightly banned from planning highly competitive gameplay though.

Other games that I know Aizen will be into will be Animal Crossing when he wants to relax. He loves the little yearly festivals and events in the games and it kinda mirrors how life works in the world. Of course he adores Digby and Isabelle, and has threatened Tom Nook with Hotarumaru before. “Don’t you cheat me you stupid tanuki, don’t make me get my brother in here.”

Games that Aizen cannot play are puzzle games. He doesn’t mind them, he just finds them really boring. He watches Akashi play them sometimes but even then, Akashi will conk the hell out. If you play them and have Aizen on your lap watching, Aizen will be amazed at how you are so good at them!

Aizen cannot deal with horror games or sad emotional games. He’s pretty emotional himself and will need a lot of hugs after. He will refuse to play Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons as they remind him of Hotarumaru and himself a lil too much. Horror games is because he’s too scared to. Hotarumaru doesn’t mind them, he likes playing them while Aizen and Akashi cling on to each other and scream in terror.

Aizen also loves games that not only have great music but the visuals and colors just catch his eye. Katamari Damacy comes to mind and he loves the main character a lot. The music! The colors! Ohh man its the best.

A guilty pleasure game he would love is the monster catching genre, Pokemon is an idea but he also loves Yokai Watch. Yokai Watch feels a lil more closer to home, plus Yokai Watch had a crossover with Taiko no Tatsujin! He immediately wasted no time and effort to try and recruit Don-chan. iM STILL TRYING TO GET DON-CHAN ON MY TEAM U LIL SHIt but also im rly biased towards yokai watch and digimon

This lil guy will also love collecting plushies of any characters of the games he plays! Don-chan is his first choice of course but catch him and Hotarumaru in a little cuddle puddle with 70 other plushies from various games!

Most of all, Aizen loves games where he can play with others! Friends, family, you! It doesn’t matter to him! He’ll drag you from your office to relax and just cheer anyone up with something fun! “Come play with me! You promised after all, master! I’ve found a rEALLY cool and fun game to play together with Hotaru!” bless him he’s trying his best

Atsushi Toushirou

Like Aizen, Atsushi will mostly enjoy multiplayer games because of his multitudes of brothers, younger and older. He’ll pick out games like Mario Party, Mario Kart, classics for sure. But then there’s games like Wario Ware or Smash Bros. He wants to play games with as many people as possible! He loves it when he can play with you and his brothers!

If Atsushi wants to play something more solo, he will play something along the lines of Cooking Mama. Houchou got him addicted to it gee i wonder why Houchou loves the game so much but Atsushi just loves the dishes that he can prepare and it almost feels like he can cook! He once tried to follow exactly what Cooking Mama did in the game for cooking once uh...it did not end up. But none the less, he loves the colors and the music of Cooking Mama!

He is also a big ol fan of life simulation games, Animal Crossing being his favorite. Again he and his siblings can all play together and the calm atmosphere almost lulls him to a peaceful sort of sleep that he adores the most. He loves the relaxing vibe and sometimes wishes to live there, wherever the hell these guys live.

Next to Yagen, I think Atsushi will lowkey adore horror games. Yagen does it just to get a rise out of the rest of his siblings and Atsushi is kind of the same. Sure Yagen finds the most gorey and atmospheric based horror to scare the crap outta his siblings, Atsushi will probably play the more jumpscare based horror games just to get a scare outta them too! What good is a horror game if you’re not scared as well??? Damn right he’ll wait until it’s night time to play these games!

Atsushi also does love RPG games! Star Ocean, Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, come to mind first. He just loves going on big adventures! Exploring new worlds, meeting new people, learning new things! Bonus points if the game has a really emotional story, catch him and his brothers crying about whatever happens on screen.

Atsushi has a secret fondness for rather childish games. Pokemon, Yokai Watch, so on and so forth. YEs he’s trying his best to be mature and stuff, supporting you his saniwa and all, but sometimes he just wants to be himself and have fun! He has a few mascot plushies from his brothers too, shhh.

Atsushi is also terrifyingly amazing at turn-based strategy games. Mario + Rabbids being a favorite because of the colors and overall fun atmosphere. Fire Emblem is a close second. He knows exactly how to keep his units and characters alive, what upgrades to give them, so on and so forth. “General! Come look at what I did in my game! Wouldn’t it be cool if we could also do something like this?!” he says that as Rabbid Luigi yeets himself off of normal Mario and soars through the air like a bird, landing gracefully without hurting himself. Atsushi no.

He’s the most likely of the TouDans to get into the indie gaming scene, looking at new and upcoming content creators to see what they make! He wants to support them as much as he can!

He’s also one of the more responsible of the TouDans in terms of games. Others will start buying them on a whim but Atsu knows there’s a budget to be had! He isn’t as money crunching as Hakata or anything but he knows his damn limits!

Another game genre he’s secretly into are visual novels. He loves the budding relationships between characters, romantic or not, he loves seeing where they end up! It’s like he’s growing with them!

Here’s my precious lil bean.

Amelie, or Amy as she often gets called, is the first daughter, and the epitome of a middle child. Her parents were harsh on her, always telling her she wasn’t pretty enough, that a princess was not meant to be clumsy and awkward, and that she wasn’t good enough. 

She tried, really hard. She had no skill at music, and she was only a mediocre dancer at best. She stabbed herself every time she tried to sew, and she never felt clever enough to string words together in a way people would listen. But she tried. Hours after hours, she’d try get better at sewing, she’d practice instruments and dancing, and she’d try to write poetry only to throw away the weak attempts. 

In a last ditch attempt to impress her parents, she learned to fight, studied battle strategy, everything related to that area. After all, if she couldn’t be the perfect daughter, she could be more like her brothers, and maybe that’d be good enough. 

It wasn’t. 

Her parents simply yelled at her for not being ladylike when they discovered her studies. But she had found the one thing she was good at, and her brothers were happy to spar with her, so it became the worst kept secret of the siblings.

 When Johann died, Amy was devastated, especially because she’d come to see the truth about their parents. His death was on her family, and she couldn’t forgive her parents for that. So when Frix was happy to let her tag along to the French court, she hoped she could show that not all of Austria was bloodthirsty and cruel, that the children were not their parents.

She’s terribly insecure though, and in her fear of saying the wrong thing, she often says nothing at all, which can make her seem standoffish. 

Connections I’d love: 

We’ve got most of her family, so if someone brings us the youngest brother, that’d be amazing. She’s so sweet and doting with all of her siblings, even trying to mother Frix, which usually just means giving him puppy dog eyes. It’s very hard to ignore those eyes, she’s got no idea of her power there. 

Friends: Amy doesn’t make friends easily, but she wants to. If someone gets past her insecurities, they’ll find a very sweet and adorable dork. 

Sparring partner: she usually just practices with Frix, but she’s actually a pretty decent fighter bc she knows how to use her small stature to her advantage. It’s the one thing she’s good at, so come see her when she’s confident for once! 

Enemies: she’s used to people hating her family, and while she might privately agree, she does not want to hear someone else say it. Or perhaps someone thinks she is just like her parents, and judges her over that. 

Crush: she’s not particularly used to people being nice to her, so I’d love for her to fall for someone inappropriate (lower position or a woman) simply because they are easy to talk to. This could either be reciprocated (slow burn, or forbidden secret love, etc) or they could just be using her and end up breaking her heart.

2. Who laughs and kisses their partner on the cheek while their partner isn’t happy about something trivial to try and make them feel better?

Both do that!! They both rely on physical comfort a lot so it’s always like…the first go-to strategy when they see each other upset. They give each other a small kiss and try to crack a silly joke that 99% of the times it’s bound to make the other laugh and at least make them forget why they where upset in the first place! Cata also likes to rest her head on his shoulder and nudge it a bit so he at least tells her why he was upsetti!

Sharky is the one who does it more often tho, because Cata doesn’t really voice the trivial stuff that upsets her because she just tries to deal with it on her own as to not bother people and risking being called childish for being upset by such a small thing (she carries that from her Family Life).

3. Who cuddles up to the other after a long day at work, and this soon escalates to a playful pillow fight?

Cata most of the time :’’’/// she is actually super touch starved EVEN if she is always clinging to people (that’s pretty much the reason she does it fjdfds) so when she comes back from work all she wants to do is get that sweet human warmth and comfort and Sharky welcomes her with open arms!! They cuddle a lot actually but it only escalates in a playful pillow fight if she is not too tired and most of the time the loser has to do something extremely dumb as a punishment

5. How would one another describe their partner?

They only have good things to say about one another!!!! I’ve mentioned it before but they have a way of making the negative traits look like positive ones, not in a “my partner is perfect” kinda way but more of a….these are all parts of them and i love every single bit of it fhdkshfs BUT ANYWAY Cata loves how funny he is and how easily he can lift the weight off her shoulders so that is something she really focuses on when describing him, just how being with him makes everything seem easier somehow!! Sharky loves how supportive Cata is and how patient she is too!! He likes how he can be himself around her without having to fear she is gonna judge him, it really makes him feel comfortable!

6. Who wraps their arms around their partner as they look them in the eyes and compliments them with a goofy smile?

Cata!!! Sharky likes to ramble about whatever and one of her favourite things to do is like wrapping her arms around his neck and nod with a stupid smile as he keeps talking about virtually anything fhjdks most of the time he is also so focused on his train of thought that even if Cata is practically on his face he doesn’t stop talking and that is something she absolutely adores fdsjk

9. Who loves it when their partner kisses them good morning?

That’s got to be Sharky because Cata wakes up earlier to go to work! It’s mostly a super fast kiss because she is a disaster and always oversleeps so she has to eat breakfast while getting dressed so she probably stumbles over the bed trying to give him a soft kiss and ends up falling on top of him and abruptly waking him up hfksdh but he loves it so much he always kisses her again before she pulls back :’/ ♥

10. Who shows the other how to balance a spoon on their nose?

They both do because they are dumbasses. They probably also have a contest to see who can balance the spoon for the longest time and they try to sabotage each other by “casually” leaning to nudge the other in the shoulder which always ends up with both spoons falling down.

11. Who loves to pull pranks on the other? What type of pranks do they pull and do they pull their pranks off?

Cata is a master prankster because growing up the youngest of five siblings and having a demon as your directly older brother pretty much meant she had to be prepared to live through a lifetime of pranks and also be witty enough to pull them back fksdh they’re harmless pranks tho and most of the time it has to do with spicy food camouflaged as something not-spicy (chili powder instead of cinnamon, a bit of wasabi inside an oreo cookie, chocolate covered peppers…). Cata just sits back with a smug smile behind her mug of coffee and patiently waits for the prank to unfold.

12. What is something small that they would randomly pick up for one another?

Cata probably gets him a super stupid lighter, like you know those that are shaped like bubblegum packs or one shaped like a super ugly fish she got from a dumb trip to the lake fdhsfk they are absolutely stupid gifts but she loves them. Sharky gets her an equally stupid keychain that he either found rumaging through his own drawers or that he bought at a gas station. 

They are really not well thought gifts but these are the ones they love most because impulsive buying something because it reminded them of the other person or seeing something and knowing they must give it to their partner because it is so them just means a lot to both of them!!!

13. Who is the one who can’t stop laughing when trying to tell a joke?

Cata because she has a super easy laugh and most of the time she finds her own (awful) jokes to be so hilarious she can’t tell them with a straight face. Most of the times she tries to tell a joke it’s basically her gasping for air and clearing her throat before she inevitably starts laughing again and Sharky is left with a confused smile because he wants to hear the joke but she can’t for the love of god deliver it

14. Who would plan the other a surprise birthday party?

They both would!! They probably won’t even be huge parties either, just the closest friends and lots of food and disco music (for Sharky) or some 90s rock (for Cata) but just the fact that the other person put so much thought into making it an enjoyable day for the other makes them melt!!

15. Who picks the other person up when hugging their partner?

Sharkyyyy :’/// he is a Big Boi and he loves to lift her up a lil when he goes for a hug!! She holds on to him for dear life the first time he does it (war flashbacks from one of her brothers who loved to toss her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes) and he finds that so absolutely adorable he just makes it a habit to pick her up every single time

Thoughts on Sofia the First Part 4:

Season 4

Day of the Sorcerers

     I have been looking forward to this episode and it finally happened. My son finally made a choice and it was worth the wait. It’s good to see Hexley Hall again with all of the magic around them. Jun and Wu-Chang were a sight for sore eyes and good additions to the episode. Mystic Isles...maybe Sofia and Cedric will go there someday.

     The Order of the Wand was fascinating and they do have a question that has been on my mind for a while. Why are they serving under the royals? I’m not surprised that Greylock’s with them at all, his king is full of himself.

     I never thought I’d love a rock ballad but here we are. My Evil Dreams is now one of my top favorite songs in the series. The lyrics are great and really made me empathize with Cedric. Jess Harnell did an amazing job singing and voicing the sorcerer. Wormwood telling everything and Sofia’s reaction to Cedric’s confirmation was heartbreaking. Both raven and sorcerer being smug and confident as they took over the kingdom and Sofia trying to stop them were one of the most intense scenes in the series. The redecoration of the throne room and the throne itself was gorgeous. I also like that it was Sofia’s throne Cedric transformed.

     The way he said “This is all I want.” was top notch. I knew he wouldn’t harm Sofia and that was in itself, rewarding.

      “I never thought you were capable of something like this!”

     “You never thought I was capable of anything. No one did!” Let it out man.

     “Everything you did was the greatest thing ever. But did anyone notice when I did something right?  Noooo.  They only noticed when I made a mistake.”

     “And you made a lot of mistakes.”

     “So. Did. You.”

     OHHHHH

     Cedric finally got to tell Roland everything he has been bottling inside for decades was very satisfying.

     “Then maybe you should have tried doing something great.” ROLAND YOU BIT-

     Sofia is seriously one of the purest cinnamon rolls out there.

     “The worst thing you did, was saying we weren’t friends, because I know that’s not true. You helped me save Royal Prep. You helped me beat Princess Ivy. You even let Morgana catch you so I can get away. Only a great sorcerer could do those things, and a great friend.”

     Not gonna lie, I teared up right then and there.

     Miranda’s a gift for being a good human being and siding with her daughter in defending Cedric. The long conflict has finally been resolve of will he or will he not take continue his schemes.

     I just wish that it was actually a long special. This is a huge turning point for Cedric. Maybe it could’ve shown that even when he had taken over Enchancia, he was still not respected by his peers (Maybe Greylock will though). Seeing the other sorcerers and wizards beating the Order of the Wand would have been nice too. Nonetheless, I’m still happy for my princess and sorcerer.

     I have mixed feeling about this special. The outfit changes are nice as usual, Sofia’s travel get up in particular and it’s nice to see the ponytail again. I was afraid that Amber would act the same way again regarding to what happened in the Curse of Princess Ivy but she reacted differently-ish. The Library is enchanting, as usual. Prisma was obviously the evil crystal master and I like how it’s natural for Amber to still slip up and be selfish like any other human being. The animation is beautiful. Skye’s just eh, maybe he’ll grow on me. The Dancing Deserts was fascinating along with the Shatter Stone but I didn’t care for the Rompkins at all. Sorry but I just have no patience for those types of characters.

     I didn’t like the “fact” of “If someone helps an animal in need, they’re automatically not on the evil list.” Prisma’s song is punny but I like the tune. I also like that she acts a bit insane, with her voice being all whimsical and dreamy while she’s doing immoral things like trying to murder children.

     Who I Am reached the top ten of my favorite songs of the series. Darcy Rose Byrnes hit those notes perfectly, as well as Ariel Winter. Amber distracting Prisma was humorous, of course she’d have 3 mirrors on her person.

     What I didn’t like about this special is Sofia becoming a Protector. I mean, why would fully grown magical adults depend on a girl who already has so much responsibility on her shoulders. Is this gonna be a big arc with magical hijinks, and I guess Prisma will be the main villain. With that said I’m still happy for Amber’s character growth and her bonding with Sofia.

Through the Looking Back Glass

     Another favorite episode. I guess Cedric centric episodes are generally good. Finally got to know about Cedric and Cordelia’s past. It’s also worth it to say that Calista wasn’t annoying in this ep and that she likes Sofia and considers her as one of her favorite people. The song’s really catchy in a good way and Cordelia’s voice is captivating, I’d like to hear her sing more in the future. Man, the looking back glass is pretty op. This could solve any crime committed, could be used to win debates and so much more.

     Young Cordy and Ceddy are adorable and I had the same reaction as Sofia and Calista when they hugged. Good to see that they made the potion mix up subtle the first time it was featured. Roland you lil shi-prankster. I feel bad for Cordelia but my temper flared when I heard and saw people criticize a young kid who was barely ten at the time. It was cruel and it’s what lead up to his low self esteem.

     The sibling bickering was entertaining but I do feel for Cedric when his sister kept hurling insults toward him. Their predicament with the shrinking spell is creative and I assumed that people in the palace were able to leave. The big reveal for brother and sister was melancholic, especially for Cedric.

     “And you blamed me...All these years.”

     Imagine three decades being looked down by almost everyone, people who already decided what you will always be, a failure rather than see your potential for future deeds must have been painful. I have social anxiety and it always affects me whenever I made a simple mistake, so I could only imagine what it must have been to multiply that to 3 for decades.

     It was nice that Cordelia took the blame and stood up for her brother and told off Roland that not everything is Cedric’s fault.

Princess Jade

     It was a good ep. But Amber’s the one who made me like it even more. Jade’s princess look is nice as well as Amber’s village outfit and her bun is so cute! Ruby’s a sweetie, making sure her friend tries new things, same goes for Sofia.

     “Well, there’s more to life than fashion...I cannot believe I just said that.” Me neither Amber, good for you.

     I also adore how she worked with Ruby and others and had a marvelous presentation. My girl is growing up so fast.

Ivy’s True Colors

     The title was actually made me look forward to this episode when I saw it, it was like a pleasant surprise for Ivy to get redemption. I kinda wish the Deep Sleeps affected humans too but then again it could’ve gotten too complicated. Roma‘s cute and it was nice to see a princess have a skunk friend though I bet having black and white fur helped. Also, I think the monochrome look of the island is beautiful.

     I’ve always wanted to know more about Ivy since she mentioned that her land’s also black and white. And being imprisoned on an island without a trial for a decade without anyone to talk to is depressing. Maybe her family or her people aren’t the best kind. That could explain her being new to the whole friendship and love thing. The song is now another favorite and on the top ten songs, the lyrics are somewhat cheesy but beautiful nonetheless. I thought that Nettle’s appearance would screw up the plot but it actually worked out fine for me. Her friendship with Ivy’s really neat and I hope that I do get to see them again.

Pirated Away

     I added this episode mainly due to Amber and Miranda moments. I despise the pirates, they were one of the most annoying characters in the series. I was a bit disappointed when Amber said that Miranda isn’t her real mom when she was the one who said that step-dads are just as real as dad-dads. I assume she said this out of frustration. I adore the princesses’ sailing outfits though.

     It was lovely to finally see Miranda and Amber having a heart to heart talk with Amber admitting that she can be selfish at times. Miranda pointing out that her girls are growing up so fast gave me a bittersweet feeling and I don’t know why. I do like the ending with the magnificent meteor shower.

The Mystic Isles: The Princess and the Protector

     As I feared, this arc started out bad for me personally. Chrysta was annoying and just didn’t put much effort in training Sofia. As much as I love her wings, her arms are like sticks. I also think that it’s a bad idea for the Protectors to assign an inexperienced “trainer” to teach a child. This isn’t some simple test you guys, Sofia isn’t a guinea pig and this could affect her growth. You’re risking her safety as well.

     What I did like is Sofia telling Chrysta off. While I am well aware that this was the point, it still did not sit well with me. Chrysta gave off bad vibes and I think she might be a hit or miss.

The Mystic Isles: The Falcon’s Eye

     I really did not like this episode and I’m really not liking this arc. It’s was pretty boring save for the fact that the Wicked Nine is part of the plot and Jun appearing again.

     Twitch and Prisma make an interesting duo along with the Locket of Vor. The Wicked Nine caught my attention and suddenly became more compelling but was made me doubt it again after seeing the way they approached the whole thing. I also did not like the security of the Falcon’s Eye. It’s so dumb, even a human can climb those walls. The series is not fitted to have smart sneaky battle strategies. I know it’s for children, but at least make Christa more competent. She is the so called best Protector in the Isles. At least she’s trying to be a better trainer.

     “And you know what they say about finding medallions on the ground: Hang them from your neck and enjoy many compliments.” …..No. That is some terrible advice right there.

The Mystic Isles: A Very Mystic Wassalia

     Skye really did not grow on me. He’s just really boring and now that this is probably the last time I’ll see of him until the finale so it seems he’ll always be just eh to me. Elfabetty was very annoying, I can’t stand types of kids in cartoons that just go off and cause trouble for everyone.

     The only thing I like was Sofia and Chrysta’s interaction. It was obvious from the start that the fairy doesn’t have anyone to celebrate Wassalia with and Sofia, bless her, was really sweet to give her a gift and made the effort to go around the Isles to tell everyone about her. But I wish they showed Sofia spending time with her family too.

The Birthday Wish

     Reliving and making sure things go well for the day just for it to move on a lot of times must have been an exhausting ordeal for Sofia. But I did find it refreshing to see her distraught and annoyed, she had a wider variety of expression in this ep. Tizzy, I love you but you should really check your spells more. And where’s Cedric? He should’ve been there, it’s his friend’s birthday after all.

In Cedric We Trust

     Feeels. Roland and Baileywick being dismissive of Cedric is understandable. I mean, he did freeze them and almost took over the kingdom. Sofia’s dress is really pretty and suits her age, especially now with the show ending. Cedric did give me second hand embarrassment again, specifically discussing a crown with Roland. Wormwood’s really fed with Cedric and it’s saddening. His betrayal made things worse too.

     A trait I like about Prisma is her keeping her promises, even if she has menacing intentions.

     “Oh Twitch, are you jealous?”

     “Actually yeah, a bit.” Gotta love the honesty there.

     Cedric trying to prove himself and saying that he and Roland used to be close as kids in a catchy song gave me mixed feelings. It’s refreshing that he’s not scheming anymore but I’m not completely sold on the idea that they were close. And Wormwood whyyy. Well, I do know and somewhat understand but how could you leave your best friend like that.

     Prisma hitting Cedric on the shoulder looks painful. But the main highlight of this episode is Cedric saving Sofia and risking his life in the process. I just hope that Wormwood realizes his mistake and redeems himself.

A Royal Wedding

     Finding out that Amber’s the heir to the throne was a pleasant surprise but I did feel bad for James until I thought that he didn’t even like doing kingly duties and I remembered that he trained a bit as a knight.  

     Speaking of, why did Roland know anything about this and how could they keep this from him? Shouldn’t he know about these things? You know for a king, Roland seems to know squat on some important parts.

     “W-well, I’m not like that anymore.” That is true and I’m proud of you.

     “James, I understand this is difficult to hear.”

     “No, you don’t understand dad. You got to be king.” Ooo. He has a point there.

     The song’s pretty but James stap, don’t sabotage your sister. Meanwhile, the twin’s wedding garb are very stylish along with Amber’s hair and tiara. It’s good to see Sofia’s blue gown again, I hope it’s going to be her default dress.

     Amber mastering the greetings and her brother’s shocked reaction were funny. James planning to become a knight is the perfect role for him.

The Royal School Fair

     I’ve missed the Royal Prep kids. It seems like it’s been a while since an episode focused them. I also appreciate that the writers didn’t make a complete 180 with Hildegard’s personality. She still wanted her and Clio doing things together  but was more accepting of her friend’s choices and was willing to let them be separated in the end. The song is really cute and catchy, one of the best in the series. I feel bad for Desmond but I also love how James was supportive. First Hugo, now him. That boy seems to have a strong sense of brotherhood.

     Amber and Sofia’s relationship has gone through a lot. From Amber hating her, to loving her and wanting Sofia to go with her to the same school.

     “No one ever said you had to be a knight to be a hero.” A great lesson.

     Another great lesson is: We may have to decide on somethings but that doesn’t mean we can’t change them. Nothings stays the the same, perhaps for a long time but never forever.

     “And no matter what we choose, it...won’t be forever?”

     “Oh nothing is my dear.”

     Beautiful.

The Lost Pyramid

     Everyone looked fabulous in their travel garb. They made the effort to give each princess an individual design whereas they could’ve just easily given them the same uniform design. I love Princess Cassandra and her whole exchange with Zooey.

     “Cassandra, are you…”

     “Blind? What gave me away? Are my socks mismatched again?”

     “You never mentioned in your letters you couldn’t see.”

     “Well, you never mentioned you could.”

     “Good point.”

     I love it.

     Another thing I loved was how Cassandra taught them to see in the dark. And it’s nice to see a more realistic/normal portrayal of a blind person.

The Elf Situation

     A good, warm final regular episode. Arielf and Elfabelle are cute and didn’t annoy me.

     “We river elves prefer it rainy.”

     “We tree elves prefer it leafy.”

     “Leafy? Is that even a thing?” I’m with you there.

      Got another favorite song. I adore it for showing them having fun and acting like regular children especially with all that’s happening. Bittersweet, but more on the sweet side. The lesson’s great by saying that kids don’t have to try acting like grown ups so fast and should instead enjoy their childhoods.

So, this now sums up my thoughts on certain episodes of Sofia the First. Part 5 will be my conclusion.

Man, I finally managed to get some of the harder to find later volumes of +Anima and I’m just remembering how much I want to hug Senri, aaaargh!! Like he rarely ever gets any role in the plot and when he does its just like.. plot devices ABOUT him, that everyone else discusses cos he’s indisposed. And sometimes it feels like he’s a lil bit infantalized, and there’s never really any conclusion to any of his plot devicey plots and like.. nobody even tries to explain it all to him. But still I really love him and you can tell that the writer at least tried to make a good representation of a mentally ill character, even if it can get a bit muddied with all the fantasy world metaphors and stuff. or I dunno, maybe it was just meant to be a fantasy world thing and I’m reading too much into it, but I find him really relateable as a neuroatypical person...

Anyway, since this manga series is super unknown, i may as well try and explain it more clearly for my followers who might not have seen it!

+Anima is about a group of adorable kids in a jrpgish fantasy world that experience A Lot Of Tragedy. In this universe there’s a power called +Anima which lets you use the powers of an animal. It’s never fully explained exactly how it works, but the general premise is that it can suddenly manifest in anyone who has the potential, when their life is in danger. And there’s no way of knowing who has that potential before it happens. It’s super sad because +Anima are generally hated by the non-powered human society, so this ragtag group of young kids were all ostracized from their former home and ended up bonding together to survive in a world where they have to live on their own. Their magic animal powers help a bit, but its still just as hard as you could expect for people that age, and that’s the source of most of the sadness. But there’s also loads of cute and funny and sweet slice of life moments and you just really wish for these damn kids’s happiness!!!!

And then the character Senri is the oldest of the kids, but he suffers from selective mutism and general ambiguous mental illness, so he fills the role of the muscle rather than the leader. He’s super quiet and sweet and mysterious but mostly sweet and oh did I mention how sweet he is? Seriously he’s such a kind and wonderful team mom kind of figure and I love him and I get so sad that the story gives him such a tiny role cos he struggles to talk. he usually just gets to be a plot device to shift some heavy thing the younger kids can’t, or to get lost because of his memory problems, or some plot device happens because of his ethnicity, essentially? Cos he’s a member of the Kim-Un-Kur tribe, which is this world’s equivelant of native american societies. they’re a little stereotypical sometimes but generally presented sympathetically and honestly it’s a lot better than expected from a story written by a japanese person. Though it sucks that we get to spend so little time with them cos like.. their society is presented as the One Place On The Damn Planet That Doesn’t Hate +Anima. And maybe they could actually explain a bit of thr mysteries about +Anima that go unsolved for the whole damn series, yo! Like apparantly they’re all +Anima and they’re all the same type of animal too, when as far as we knew before its just random what you get, or based on personality or something. And Senri’s backstory raises the interesting concept that a +Anima can be inherited from a particular individual animal, cos his mental illness is apparantly caused by being tainted by an evil mad bear that killed his father. Like its spirit got sealed inside his arm and his +Anima is the reincarnation of that one bear’s personality, so he can’t control it? LIKE THIS WAS NEVER MENTIONED BEFORE AND NEVER EXPLAINED SINCE!! Does that mean everybody’s powers are the spirit of some animal that was nearby when they first transformed?? Why does nobody show any curiousity and question this premise aaaaaa???

I want to know more worldbuilding so I can better make my own OCs T_T Also Senri is the best and I love him and I want more Senri T_T

And like.. even though I have my complaints about how it was handled, I do really like some things about his whole ‘magical mental illness’ thing. Like the premise is raised that Senri has to be killed to end the legacy of that evil bear, because just like how the evil bear’s son was also evil he will inevitably lose control someday and become just the same. But then the heroes are all like NOPE, and stop this self-proclaimed hero guy from slaying him, and prove that Senri can indeed come down from his Superpowered Evil Side Moment with a big ol hug of love and tears. And the guy is like ‘oh god i was so wrong, I almost killed my best friend’s son for the sake of avenging him, what the fuck’ and just... YES! THANK! Senri never gets magically cured and he also never gets euthanized even in a world that’s saying its ‘the only option’ and ‘he’ll never be able to have a normal life’. Also I like the little ways they showed him finding coping strategies to live with his illness! Like he has a bunch of ‘magical plot items’ that aren’t even really magical plot items. He’s just managed to cope with many parts of his illness through the power of belief that this coping strategy can help him, and its kind of a magic feather effect that he loses control when he loses those items. Like he believes he has to keep his missing eye covered or else the bear will take control of him, and even just having someone find his eyepatch and let him see it again will help him regain control, it doesn’t necessarily actually work. And he has a diary he fills with pressed flowers and other pretty nature stuff he collects along the way, and associating each important memory with a visual or a smell or a texture helps him recall it. He can flip through his book whenever he feels his memory getting wonky. And like.. its super sad because we see how he can’t remember the people he grew up with, because he lost their pages of the book. But we also see that he can start over again and form new memories with them, and we can see how much he deeply cares about everyone he’s ever met, and just how relieved he is whenever he remembers something he forgot. And like.. he only first met the group because one of the protagonist’s feathers got stuck in his book and he was like “??? did I forget why i collected this??” but now he’s formed so many memories with them and loves them so much as siblings that he decides to stay with them even after they help him find his old village that he was kidnapped from. Plus his father is dead and his whole tribe got sold into slavery excpet just one guy, who then tries to kill him, geez. God, poor Senri...

Welcome to that post. It might get long.

Reaper the level 100 Naughty nature Sneasel with Keen Eye who experienced pokerus once and has contest ribbons from too many regions oh my gosh Leeeeeeets get going on how much I adore my little guy!

Okay, the story behind him. He is kinda unofficially my starter pokemon?

Cos of course there was no way to keep your mons from RBY and GSC back then, but I’d kinda only had one pokemon anyway. I was a dumb kid who just solo’d both games with my raichu Chuppy. And sadly I ended up losing them even before the whole transfer issue, someone stole my Gold cartridge during school and when I found it half smashed in the playground all the data had been corrupted. It did actually play though, just with some colour issues I think? I never really restarted cos it felt cruel to Chuppy to do it. So I’m happy that the virtual console rerelease let me reincarnate Chuppy and even make them a cool new alola form! (though they had a different gender this time, but meh i get to headcanon my chu is trans like me, haha) So yeah thats the story of my official first pokemon, but Chuppy didnt really have any personality or headcanons back then cos I was so new to the franchise. And Reaper ended up lasting way longer and sharing every single other region with me, so he kinda took the spot of ‘starter’ even if he wasnt ‘first’. (I still was really happy to welcome reincarnation Chuppy home tho!)

Reaper actually came from Pokemon Colosseum, of all places! His OT name is the completely-wrong ‘Tom’ cos he was from when I restarted my game after getting stuck and just buttonmashed one of the default names out of frustration. I actually caught him in a master ball just cos I was that excited to hug the lil guy! Sneasel was my fave gen 2 mon but i never managed to catch one actually in GSC, i didnt know it was limited to a rare encounter in the very last area. And even before I caught him I knew sneasel was in this game via guides, so i was waiting with baited breath and establishing headcanons even before i found him. Then I just COULD NOT WAIT, hence the master ball! XD I kinda preemptivel based him on the iron mask marauder’s sneasel from the celebi movie, cos shadow pokemon are similar to his brainwashing stuff. And I always liked his sneasel, scizor and tyranitar, for such minor roles they are. It was a nice nuance for the bad guy’s pokemon to be shown as VERY MUCH not evil, just enslaved by magic brainwashing and mistreated. It warmed my heart seeing them freeing each other and escaping in the end once the control was broken! But also it established sneasel as a really cool badass fighter that I wanted to have someday, yknow?

So yeah I got this guy from colosseum before I even played RSE, and he ended up being my ‘starter’ in that game so much that i cant even remember which one i picked. I boxed it right away and never thought about it again, I was a callous kid! It was actually really interesting playing ORAS and finally getting to see what the hoenn starters are actually like, lol And Reaper remained my best friend across like ELEVEN OR MORE REPLAYS of every single gen 3 game except emerald. Cos at that time in my childhood i literally did not have any other games. i spent around three or four years with just sapphire, leafgreen and final fantasy tactics advance. (Oh boy that game’s script is stuck in my brain for all time) And getting attatched to the characters and making new ones all the time was how i kept from getting bored this way ^_^ Buuuuut... it kinda meant that I just discarded most of them super fast to make more. the only other pokemon that migrated to sinnoh with Reaper was Nether the sableye, who was kinda his rival/best friend. (Tho I mispelled it as Neava so he’s stuck that way, lol. And both of them are in all caps forever...) Nether is kinda the basis for my recent oc Malachi, so he’s like an entirely different story for another time. But he was my Sapphire buddy and Reaper was one region older via the power of spinoffs.

And oh man yeah i totally loved the shadow pokemon plot lol! I just headcanoned his plot with regards to that was the same as the marauder’s mons. Perfectly nice tiny sneasel boy is kidnapped and experimented upon by evils, but my love saved him and now he is soft once more. He didnt really have much angst from it, but it helped such a wild spirit grow to trust my hero and trust humans in general after such a rocky introduction to them. I imagined it was like training a dangerous dog to be a police canine, with that arm guard thing that they bite! Shadow pokemon training must be WAY more tough than it seems on the surface! So like ash’s charizard plot, where it ends up with really fire forged family love after all the hardship. I think that before he met my trainer he was just like a loner robin hood type character who valued his freedom and thought that tamed pokemon were all wusses. But alas, he was forced to experience human hugs, and now he’s addicted! but he’d still be quite rebellious and wild and have a lot of goofy cute interactions as he tries to learn all this complicated stuff about being a pet. Why cant I pee on the carpet?? Why do I have to eat pellet food? Why are you mad when i bring you dead mice and pidgey eggs?? bad bad influence on the other mons, but also a softhearted big bro who WANTS to be a good influence. He pretends to be all aloof and stoic cliche angsty antihero, but always messes up and looks cute instead! And he gets crushingly sad if any of his lil siblings actually does get afraid of him. Noooo the grumpyness is for the humans! Not for you!! No-one is allowed to pet the sneas except the other pokemon. It my duty to protect my new pack of strangely shaped sneasels! Oh and he likes booze. In human terms he’d be around 25-30, but still its not good for animals to drink human liquor. Never stopped him though! He’d always find ways to sniff it out and swipe half-finished cans from the trash and stuff. Bad angstman! I know thats part of your archetype but stop it!

So... basically he was like.. cloud? original version from ff7 where he was sassy and goofy sometimes, except reaper is like that all the time with less angst and pretty much zero ego. He’s just like a kind yet not completely competant fun uncle who tries his best to put up a cool guy front to impress the kids (and push away scary humans) but his innate sweetness means he always messes up. And he’s super tsundere about the fact he considers his trainer part of his infinate pack of children, even if every other human is DANGER MODE. Must protect this human from the other ones! Must teach them the ways of the sneas! Oh, and I imagined his appearance as a gijinka would be kinda like Squall from ff8. cos he actually started off as a parody of that unlikeable angstman archetype, and i didnt even know Cloud existed until yeaaaars later. (Played the ffs completely out of order...) So i figured he’d be like squall but with dark skin and a kinda sirus black hairstyle. (Cos that guy contributed the kind uncle part of his inspiration!) Oh and of course a sneasely colourscheme for the fur coat. And I ended up making him hold Blackglasses so often that it was an in-joke that he actually wore shades 24/7 even in normal pokemon form XD

When I first got him in Collosseum he was really useful for his Brick Break move, and im actually really happy that the brick break image on bulbapedia is the collosseum sneasel using it! It was very very good as one of the few mons available with that move in the very limited choices you had for that game. But his signature move kinda ended up being Surf, even though his stats would have been awful for it even if I’d ev trained him properly XD I just found it so bizarre that sneasel of all things could learn that HM! I imagined he formed a surfboard out of ice to carry the trainer, cos there’s no way you could stand on the back of a 30cm tall weasel...

And man lets just have some random sneasel headcanons now!

* Their feathers exist to sense wind fluctuations, which are useful in their natural environment to anticipate snowstorms and track prey in low visibility.

* The ear feather is just for this, its the more sensitive one. The tail feathers are more for manipulating objects and other day to day life. They’re more matted and dont really have the same hearing ability, but the joints are way more flexible so they can be moved independantly like three actual tails. Sneasels can pick up small delicate objects by brushing them up between the tails, then rolling them down their back to reach their mouth. they also use the tails to brush away dirt, hide their tracks in the snow, form surprisingly intricate igloo-like nests and groom their fur with the utmost precision.

* Sneasels will outright resent any attempts to groom them by anyone but their closest human friend, since inevitably humans cant do as good of a job. But humans can scratch behind your ears and give cuddles, so it all works out!

* In the wild, sneasels eat primarily eggs, some nuts and berries, scavenged semi-rotten meat and not so much live prey. Even though they’re very skilled, they’re also very fragile and cautious because of it. They’ll only hunt in extreme situations, instead preferring to confuse and mislead their way to dinner. Sneasels are very social and loyal to each other even if they’re not to anyone else. Their most common strategy is the whole pack wards off a dangerous foe while one lone unit sneaks past and robs that pokemon’s food stores, to share with the family. Even if they’re forced to hunt their own prey, they still follow these strategies and try to just outrun the enemy until it dies of exhaustion or freezes in the blizzard. They’re experts of making cuts that disable but don’t kill- going in close enough to deliver that final blow means risking a valuable pack member’s life!

Not really a headcanon now but back to reaper himself, I always kinda imagine him looking more like a real weasel. I like sneasel’s design but the bipedal humanoid proportions arent exactly the best thing, yknow? i feel like it should have had shorter more pawlike back legs and just been top-heavy with the super claws. Like.. I imagine kinda a furret? just the appeal of actual weasels and stoats plz. I love sneasel but when i looked up weasels as a kid i was like MY HEART!!! they’re sock puppet babies with lint fuzz faces Also I think sneasel’s claws are kinda comically short and boring considering theyre like its Big Feature. I liked when they were drawn a bit longer in older artworks, and i always imagined reaper had longer ones like scyther-y level. Thats why I named him that! Crescent moon claws of awesomeness, striking in the night~! ...he would be really cool if he wasnt such a cuddly dork. I love him so much, he’s my baby. And my dad. And my uncle?? he’s just a very good friend and im happy videogames can touch my heart like nothing else let me love my nonexistant magic weasel from cyberspace forevermore~!
