frankly, the people whose kneejerk reaction to bisan asking for a global strike form the 21st-28th is to say that it takes years to organize a general strike are really unhelpful! no one is saying otherwise, but palestine will be a smoking crater if we all wait for years to do anything - bisan is asking us to do something now. Like are we only supposed to do something if we can do it perfectly??? At some point it’s a valid critique about the work that goes into social movement, and at another point I feel like some people are just trying to absolve themselves from not putting any effort into observing a week of economic inaction.

like idk! I get it, okay! People have bills to pay that don’t magically go away for a strike, we don’t have nearly enough social infrastructure in place to support people to fully stop going to work for a week. But fuck, dude! Stop immediately responding in such a defeatist way! Cut out unnecessary purchases! Try to shop local! Put more effort into promoting Palestinian voices online! Attend a protest, call a local rep, do something!

Sorry, it's been a pretty stressful few weeks for me. I found out someone accused me of drawing a "rape comic" (characters are fully consenting) and that "fetishized a hijab" (character is an archer wearing a hood) and was getting harassment and death threats.

Only to find out..

They didn't even look at the art.

They just accused me of a bunch of vile shit because they were mad when they found out I did adult art on the side.

In the aftermath of Peri's tantrum, the Leisure Court Fairies discovered that nearly every Pixie within close proximity of Poof were completely drained of magic.

Fairies are presumed incapable of stealing magic-- not unless they are a bonded pair, where magic is shared. Therefore, the underlying reasons remain uncertain to this day. Cosmo had been the only Fairy to remain conscious during the blast, but researchers were unable to extract much information from him.

Thankfully, all Pixies, including Timmy, made a full recovery- with all their magic intact.

Not to be dramatic but please don't let tiktok convince you that your indoor, couch-potato dog needs a bath every day or even every other day.

The amount of videos I see of people bathing their dogs that suggest they're making this a part of some daily routine is giving me the vapors.

Unless your dog is rolling in manure, playing in the ocean, or rolling in dirt and then coming over to sleep on your couch DAILY, then they DO NOT NEED A DAILY BATH.

Over-bathing your dog CAN actually damage most coats. They will not benefit from constant shampooing and washing. Just let them live. Brushing and de-tangling long coats has WAY more benefits and way more dogs need to be brushed daily than bathed daily.

Let it be known that it’s perfectly possible to be pro-choice re:abortion AND against eugenics. Abortion shouldn’t be about getting the perfect child, it HAS to be about preserving the health of both the pregnant person and their child, and that includes choosing to abort simply because you don’t want to be pregnant. I know people have all sorts of opinions on how Garp is handled in the live action but, for me, I just find him hilarious. Like, from the perspective of someone familiar with the show and knowing Luffy and Garp's relationship, Garp's expressions after learning what Luffy is up to in the early episodes are funny!
