Small bit of expansion on the Clownbo timeloop au

Evbo eventually starts to find a strange comfort in the consistency of Clown’s rage at him and while everything always stays the same each time he resets…Clown always is the one person that can always surprise him in the end, something that changes things while everything else stays the same. Someone that Evbo can’t predict in the end and it’s so comforting to him ever since he began looping everything around, trying to change a preset narrative in his own crusade to win against fate and time.

There are times when he thinks about even letting Clown win.

But he enjoys the fact, an insidious thing that clings to his heart, that Clown will always lose to him and it’s…pleasing to see how enraged he gets at every loss, at every almost win that inertly ends with him feeling the pain of death and being forced to look at the man who turned into a god in his final moments. It’s something so consistent about him.

It’s such a comforting thing that Evbo lets Clown freely attack him when they see each other, feels the pain of his fists and can’t help but breath as the pain hits him. How his blood, once crimson now a thick black sludge, stains the other’s hands as he tries to kill him…and he just smiles at him since they both know he won’t die.

And clown is just shaking and breathing so heavily as he straddles him.

And Evbo in such the calmest way possible over the bloodshed…

Something so tight and painful that it makes clown heave in pain and fight to get out of it, thrashes in his arms like an angry wolf. Clawing and biting until he exhausts himself.

A2 is literally salieri with traits of avenger subclass mixed in (me just continuing to flip stuff around once again, comparing to his A1 hair being white gray to black and here black to white gray lol)

also I literally attempted sketch cello first time in my life (also heavily referencing Selena’s it’s so cool) /it’s also supposed to be much bigger I’m too tired to correct it tbh and also it’s extremely heavy because ig it’s fine. him looking like a normal weak musician and then he plants it on ground and there’s a giant ass dent/

Its always so wild to me when people think that wanderer’s story is over just because 3.3 happened when that is literally just the set up. Like im sorry but that was not his redemption arc that was just the very beginning. At the very end of it they talk about the raiden gokaden, about how they should know about his involvement with them.

How is it not obvious that his story is still being continued? If hoyoverse really wanted to be lazy and make 3.3 into some shitty “redemption” arc, couldn’t they just have wanderer live his life without ever trying to make a change? We see it in the way he’s currently trying to bring light to what happened in tatarasuna and how he sent forging blueprints to inazuma during the recent inazuma event. Hell, they could have just kept him as a blank slate and went “well, guess he’s a good guy now” but that wouldn’t be a very satisfying conclusion to his story now would it?

And with the recent live stream about nod-krai with the devs talking about wanting to bring past plot points that were hidden behind books and item descriptions into quests, they show us an artefact from the husk of opulent dreams set

They used bloom times as an example, and best part is that the other examples used were before the sun and moon and the all devouring narwhal, implying that he is of equal importance to the story as them

What i love about bloom times and calabash of awakening is that its written as if wanderer is going to die. Its worrying but also so exciting because i want to see what hoyo has planned for him, because the way they are written makes it feel like not only is going to “die” doing some noble deed that is worthy of becoming a legend (*ahem* evangelion op reference *cough* *cough*) but also that he will not “die” in the traditional sense where his body is destroyed and so is his consciousness. Will his spirit and consciousness become connected to irminsul and the leylines? Will he ascend in a similar way that vannessa did? And in what kind of scenario is wanderer put through where that even becomes an option, a possibility? Who knows, because just like the calabash of awakening says, his third act is still ongoing

Also are we just gonna ignore that its implied that hes able to just casually interact with his past self?? Hello? That and the “error” that awakened him are still not explained

interesting how often the ones claiming that galadriel's season 2 arc was perfect and everyone who doesn't think so is just too haladriel brainrotted or something are the same folks who openly say it's fine if she were to just... fade into the background in season 3 or disappear outright. sorry I actually do think it's sexist for galadriel to be introduced as the central protagonist only for her to be gradually phased out so that gil-galad and elendil or elrond or whichever legendarium dude can have more to do.

thinking about that one Perpollo time travel reading the books fic/s I read that repeatedly bashed Annabeth (and Piper) and called her abusive and Percabeth co-dependent (Both during and post MoA, you know when one of them was missing for some months and after being in TARTARUS TOGETHER)

But then turned around and somehow accidentally made Apollo literally so so fucking groomerish (and not because Percy was 16 in it) and possessive it was almost funny

And how do I know it was an accident? Both the author and several fans of the author came into the comments to defend that it 'wasn't as bad as Percabeth' when people politely pointed out that Apollo was kinda being really possessive

Okay so one of my major fandoms has gotten pretty controversial since the main canon finished up, lots of people involved have done or at least been accused of some not so great things. And a lot of people left the fandom because of it which, you know, understandable.

The thing is, on Ao3 there are, depending on who is included in the fic, several periods of time from which I cannot read completed multi-chapter fics anymore because I’ll get really invested in a story and reach the last chapter and they’ll say “I heard about the drama and I’m not finishing this fic anymore. Sorry!” And like, I get it, but please, pretty please, tell me beforehand. They don’t put the Abandonded/Discontinued tag, they don’t leave it incomplete, they tag it as finished and then I stumble across it and get my heart broke.

I appreciate every author on that site, and I understand that they might not feel comfortable writing anymore, but misrepresenting your fic pisses me off. I know lots of people are okay with reading incomplete fics, they can accept that, but I’m not one of those people. There is nothing that hurts me worse than finding out that I will never get closure, and that includes in my fandoms. Don’t mislead me into thinking that there will be a conclusion and then rip the floor out from under me, you feel?

currently having an entire debate inside my head about whether yakumo would , in his "human" form, shed skin human-style or snake-style and how that affects his overall level of sneczema whether he sheds differently according to his physical form? or he sometimes messes up his transformation and will mix up his systems and become a snake with dandruff, or a human who can peel an entire multi-limbed sleeve of himself in one go (like the world's least painful/most satisfying sunburn shed)

IF he shed in my presence however, and we are staring tensely at each other in a blank cell, and i somehow ALSO have jurisdiction over his dermis,

then my first instinct would be to crumple it up (feelign for textures) before making him eat it. he can't leave until he's finished
