ngl i see a lot of people saying they hate being compared or called sheldon cooper, if they are autistic. I would agree 3 years ago where my asshole step dad would call me that because he's an ableist prick. Since escaping, I've grown to like Sheldon. He's not autistic rep and he never will be since he's not autistic, the similarities overlap sometimes but being called Sheldon isn't just negatives. After watching the show again, after dissociating those comments from me, and while he does find social situations uncomfortable and doesn't know what to say often; He's the best character on the show. He's the funniest for just straight up roasting the other characters, which he does purposely rather than on mistake most of the time. He's the smartest too, being able to solve really complex and abstract mathematical and science questions. He has a large friend group who despite saying they can't stand him, stand by him all the time. He has a phd and is probably the most dedicated character to the pursuit of science in the show.
Not to mention he has a girlfriend who not only enjoys his equivalent to info dumping but is very similar in exhibition of social awkwardness and loves science as well. So much that they both get married and win a nobel prize a year later. He has many flaws but so do most of the characters in the show but he has many positives too. He later on does have children and learns to seperate his own need for people to do what he wants and does what his children want to do, even if it's an entirely different interest. Again he's not autistic but if you compared me to him to mock me you are doing quite the opposite here, if I was like him I think i would be in a fortunate position. If my future meant having a solid friend group, a career I enjoy, being able to nerd out with my friends and buy merchandise whenever i want, a partner who understands me and a nobel prize...well that would be so satisfying especially if all i ever felt i was capable of was the bare minimum.
so, yeah. Fuck you, step dad and fuck anyone else who uses his character as an insult.

I recently came across a bunch of press articles and photos about Oscar Isaac that are so old, they appear to be out-of-print and pre-date social media. Considering they were probably never digitally transcribed for internet access, I’m guessing that the majority of current fans have never seen this stuff.
Even though a lot of these digital scans are challenging to read because they are the original fuzzy news print, I think there some gems worth sharing with you guys. Over the next several weeks, I will transcribe and share those gems on this page. Hope you enjoy them!
Let’s start with this fantastic 2001 profile piece done before Oscar was accepted into Juilliard:
South Florida’s rising star isn’t just acting the part
By Christine Dolen - [email protected]
February 4, 2001
As fifth-graders at Westminster Christian School in Miami, Oscar Isaac and his classmates were asked to write a story as if they were animals on Noah’s Ark. Oscar turned in a seven-page play – with original music – from the perspective of a platypus. Then he starred in the production his teacher directed.
He hasn’t stopped expressing himself creatively since. Today, Isaac is one of South Florida’s busiest young theater actors, and certainly its hottest. And not just because he’s a slender five-feet nine-inches tall with an expressively handsome face and glistening brown eyes.
Since making his professional debut as a Cuban hustler in Sleepwalkers at Area Stage in July 1999, he has played an explosive Vietnam vet in Private Wars for Horizons Repertory, a pot-smoking slacker in This Is Our Youth at GableStage, another Cuban on the make in Praying With the Enemy at the Coconut Grove Playhouse, the entrancing narrator of Side Man at GableStage, a Havana-based writer in Arrivals and Departures for the new Oye Rep and, most recently, a young Fidel Castro in When It’s Cocktail Time in Cuba at New York’s Cherry Lane Theater.
Beginning Wednesday, he’ll be juggling five roles in City Theatre’s annual Winter Shorts festival, first at the Colony Theatre in Miami Beach, then at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. But that is not all: During the two weeks he is doing Winter Shorts, he’ll also be playing dates with the punk-ska band The Blinking Underdogs (www.blinkingunderdogs.com), which features him as lead singer, guitarist and songwriter.
Oh, and he just got back from auditioning for New York’s prestigious Juilliard School of Drama.
All this for a guy a month shy of his 22nd birthday.
Sure, you could hate a guy who’s that talented, that charismatic, that transparently ambitious. But the people who have worked with Oscar Isaac don’t. On the contrary, they’re all sure he has it – that magical, can’t-be-taught thing that transforms an actor into a star.
Playwright Eduardo Machado, who put in a good word for Isaac at Juilliard, says “he does have that star quality that makes your eyes go to him. It’s great that someone with that talent still wants to train.”
“He has a star quality that’s rare in a young actor,” adds Joseph Adler, who directed him in Side Man and This Is Our Youth. “Without a doubt I expect to be hearing great things from him.”
‘I JUST LOVE CREATING’
Isaac, who also makes short films, can’t say exactly why he was attracted to acting. He just knows it makes him happier than anything, that it’s what he was meant to do. And he’s been doing it since he was a 4-year-old putting on plays in his family’s backyard with his sister Nicole.
“I just love creating, whether it’s music or films or a character on a stage. I love taking people for a ride,” he says. “In Side Man, every night I would love being that close to the audience. I felt like I was talking to 80 of my closest friends.
“I could feel what the audience was feeling.”
His powerful, mournful-yet-loving monologue near the end of the play, he said, “worked every night. I knew it would get them. I’d hear sniffles.
“But it had less to do with me than with the atmosphere [created by the playwright and director].”
You could understand if Isaac, surrounded as he is by praise and possibility, had an ego as burgeoning as his career. Instead, he channels the positive reinforcement into confidence about his work.
“He has such a charm and an ease onstage, but he’s very modest,” says New York-based actress Judith Delgado, who shared the stage with Isaac in Side Man. “He’s hungry. He’s got moxie. I was blown away by him.
“He saved me a couple of times. I went up [forgot a line] and that baby boy of mine came through. He’s a joy.”
FORGING HIS OWN PATH
The son of a Cuban-American father and a Guatemalan mother, Isaac was never a stellar student. But he found ways of turning routine assignments – like the Noah’s Ark story – into creative challenges.
His science reports were inevitably video documentaries underscored with punk music. He acted through middle and high school, though he had a falling out with his drama teacher at Santaluces Community High in Lantana over his misgivings about a character. When she refused to cast him in anything else, he got his English teacher to let him play the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors his senior year.
His skepticism about authority and love of playing the devil’s advocate have long made him resist doing things the usual way. His post-high school “training” consisted of one semester at Miami-Dade Community College’s South Campus (where he met his girlfriend, Maria Miranda), touring schools playing an abusive character in the Coconut Grove Playhouse’s Breaking the Cycle, and working as a transporter of bodies at Baptist Hospital, where he absorbed the drama of people in emotionally intense situations.
“It was the most magnificent dramatic institute I could’ve attended,” Isaac said. “I was able to observe the entire spectrum of human emotion, people under the most extreme duress. I was mesmerized watching the way people interacted with each other in such heightened situations.
“I learned everything about the human condition, and it was real and harsh and brutally honest.”
Yet even given his propensity for forging his own path, something nudged him another direction while he was in New York making his Off-Broadway debut in December. Walking by Juilliard one day, he impulsively went in to ask for an application. Though the application deadline had passed, Isaac persuaded Juilliard to accept his, noting in his application essay that most of the exceptional actors he admires had acquired “a brutally efficient technique” to enhance their talent by studying at places like Juilliard.
Though he won’t know whether he has been accepted until the end of this month, his audition last weekend went well, he says. He did monologues from Henry IV, Part I and Dancing at Lughnasa, adjusting his Shakespearean Hotspur to a more fiery temperature at the suggestion of Michael Kahn, head of Juilliard’s acting program – though not without arguing that Hotspur wouldn’t be speaking to the king that way.
Isaac, not surprisingly, loves a good debate.
Adler, GableStage’s artistic director and a man who is as liberal as Isaac once was conservative, savored the verbal jousting they did during rehearsals for Side Man.
“He knows exactly how to pull my chain,” Adler says with a laugh. “Intelligence is the cornerstone of all great actors, and he’s bright as hell.
“He has relentless ambition but with so much charm. He’s very hard to say no to. He has incredible raw talent and magnetism that is very rare in a young actor along with relentless energy, perseverance and ambition. I see his growth both onstage and off. He’s mature in both places.”
Part of his growth, of course, will necessarily involve dealing with the rejections that are part of any actor’s life. His career is still too new, his string of successes solid, so it’s anyone’s guess how failure will shape him. But director Michael John Garcés, who picked him for When It’s Cocktail Time in Cuba after Isaac flew to New York at his own expense to compete with a pool of seasoned Manhattan actors for the role, believes his character will see him through.
“Oscar is realistic, but he’s so willing to go the whole nine yards,” Garcés says. “He didn’t go out when he was in the show here. His focus earned the respect of the other actors, some of whom have been working in New York for 30 years.
“He hasn’t had a lot of blows yet, when the career knocks the wind out of you. But he has talent, determination and focus, and if he has perseverance – my intuition is that he does have it – he could achieve a lot.”
FAMILY TIES
His father and namesake, Baptist Hospital intensive-care physician Oscar Isaac Hernandez, couldn’t be more proud. (Isaac doesn’t use the family surname in order to avoid, in his words, being “put in that Hispanic actor box.”)
“I’m ecstatic that he’s probably going to be going to the most prestigious drama school in the United States,” he says. “School will help him focus his energies and give him discipline. He’s got the raw material and the drive.”
Isaac’s mother, Maria, divorced from his father since 1992, is a kidney-transplant recipient who acknowledges that she’ll miss her son if he moves to New York. But, she adds, she wants him “to live out his dreams. He amazes me every day. He calls me every day. I’m very proud of him.”
Even the other guys in The Blinking Underdogs are fans of Isaac’s acting, though it could take him away from South Florida just as the band appears to be, Isaac says, on the brink of signing a recording deal (it has already put out its own CD, The Last Word, with songs, lead vocals and even cover photography by Isaac.
“Oscar’s the leader of the band, a great musician who amazes me and motivates us,” says sax player Keith Cooper. “I’ve been to see every one of his plays. He’s a phenomenal actor.
“I completely buy into his role in every play. As close as I am to him, I forget it’s Oscar.”
His South Florida theater colleagues credit that to Isaac’s insatiable desire to learn and grow.
Gail Garrisan, who is directing him in Donnie and One of the Great Ones for Winter Shorts, observes, “It’s not often that you find a young actor who is willing to listen and who doesn’t think he knows everything. He loves the work.
“He really brought the young man in Side Man to life. When I saw it in New York, it seemed to be the father’s play. When I saw it here, I felt it was his [Isaac’s] play.”
Oye Rep’s John Rodaz, whom Isaac calls “the best director I’ve ever worked with,” gave the actor his first important job in Sleepwalkers at Area Stage. They met when Isaac came to see Area’s production of Oleanna and the actor, knowing Rodaz ran the theater, introduced himself.
“He has so much energy and such a sparkling personality,” Rodaz says. “He knows how to move in the world. He seems to take advantage of every situation in a good way; he’s not a cold, calculating person who’ll stab you in the back.
“[But] he wants it so badly. Everything he does, he’s the leader. When I was 21, I was taking naps.”
Rodaz coached Isaac on his Juilliard monologues and found the experience energizing.
“I got chills just watching him. That happens so rarely. I was so exhilarated when I came home that I just had to go out and run. You just know he’s got all the tools.”
Christine Dolen is The Herald’s theater critic.

Hiya blue lemon it's me again. Do you have any criticism in the way GRRM wrote Sansa in book1/2? EX:.Sansa and Jeyne are BFF but we amolst never see the girls talking to eachother, and when JP is sex traffikced sansa just forget about her(we could have a scene where sansa try to find what happened to JP or at least grieve for her). Every time sansa appears as a non-POV in AGOT she's been mean and whe we have her POV she's mean for no good reason(SANSA III AGOT). >PART 1<
And the worst is why GRRM wrote sansa goin to Cercei to tell her the "Ned Plans", it's just bad writing, Cercei kill lady so Sansa going to her was OOC GRRM just wrote that to we hate Sansa And in the book it's not explained what "the Ned plans" was(And it was nothing imortant at all, and would make no difference at Ned's fate) so ordinary readers blame Sansa for Ned's death and GRRM does that too in book 2 Cercei put all the blame for Ned death in sansa nd "the Ned Plans" Your thoughts?PART 2
There’s a lot to unpack here.
I get a sense that in the early books, George was not as comfortable writing female relationships as he was writing male relationships or even male-female ones. I mean, Catelyn has no female friends, no companions like Margaery Tyrell’s cousins, no fostering wards of her own, no correspondences with other ladies except that one letter from Lysa for plot reasons. This is just weird for the lady of two major houses. It is neglectful on George’s part to give most of the important social connections to men. This doesn’t mean he was totally inept at writing female relationships, though, and it does seem like he’s tried to improve upon highlighting the positive in later books.
By comparison, the positive side of the brotherly relationships are presented so strongly that it tends to smooth over the conflicts with many readers. Jon can feel envious and resentful of Robb, but the love and loyalty is always in the foreground. The conflict between Arya, Jeyne, and Sansa does have legitimate character arc and plot purposes, so this isn’t bad writing. It’s unfortunate that GRRM presses down so hard on the constant bickering and occasional nastiness, but he did write some positives (albeit they tended to be revealed in later books) and there are understandable reasons for the dynamics. It was not done in a totally unrealistic way. What’s depicted is a typical and relatable rocky period for that age group, and there was negative adult influence at play. It’s not a permanent feature of the sisterhood. It’s all there if you pay attention and you’re inclined to be charitable toward the mistakes of young girls.
If a reader is already predisposed to see the bonds between male characters as more pure and more able to overcome the negative aspects, then they probably also view the bonds between female characters as inherently weaker and more fraught with conflict. Fandom misogyny is not GRRM’s fault. That sector of the fandom will always have contempt for girls for being girls, especially preteen girls. They will always hone in on their faults and belittle their virtues.
I don’t think that is true that we hardly ever see Jeyne and Sansa talking. They are nearly always in each other’s company. There was real friendship between Sansa and Jeyne, because what George does do well with them, is realistically write the way girls cement their bonds. Young girls strengthen their relationship by communicating and confiding in each other. Sharing secrets, crushes, hopes, fears, and pieces of gossip builds trust and intimacy. Jeyne and Sansa do this all the time, even though they can have different opinions and disagree about a lot. Yes, there is some one-sidedness in that Sansa socially outranks Jeyne and believes that makes her more mature and wiser than her friend. Jeyne is dependent on her closeness to Sansa as a highborn lady and future queen to rise successfully, so she’s not going to push back on Sansa’s dominance. This is also a reason Jeyne sometimes bullies Arya to supplant her as Sansa’s “sister.” When Sansa has something to share, she goes to Jeyne to talk about it. I think it’s hilarious that the girls have a debate over which castle Gregor Clegane’s head will get spiked. Sansa wants Jeyne at her side for these new and exciting events like the tourney. When things get serious and dangerous, they comfort each other. Again, this is not all George’s fault if some readers don’t recognize or value the way girls do friendships.
It’s stated quite clearly why Sansa tries to not think about Jeyne or her deceased family members very often. It’s fucking traumatic and her survival while among her captors depends on mentally holding herself together.
If only she had someone to tell her what to do. She missed Septa Mordane, and even more Jeyne Poole, her truest friend. The septa had lost her head with the rest, for the crime of serving House Stark. Sansa did not know what had happened to Jeyne, who had disappeared from her rooms afterward, never to be mentioned again. She tried not to think of them too often, yet sometimes the memories came unbidden, and then it was hard to hold back the tears. Once in a while, Sansa even missed her sister. By now Arya was safe back in Winterfell, dancing and sewing, playing with Bran and baby Rickon, even riding through the winter town if she liked. Sansa was allowed to go riding too, but only in the bailey, and it got boring going round in a circle all day. -- Sansa II, ACOK.
Following her father’s beheading, Sansa was in a suicidal depression for days. She wouldn’t eat, wouldn’t bathe, welcomed drug-induced sleep, and contemplated killing herself. If she thinks too much on those she lost, she falls to pieces. She can’t openly weep and mourn for “traitors” if her life depends on appearing to be loyal to Joffrey. Most of her grief is suppressed inside. This also includes asking too many questions she doesn’t feel psychologically prepared to hear the answer to. She was there when the decision was made to shuttle Jeyne off to Littlefinger; however, she has no idea this is going to result in Jeyne being sent to a brothel and worse. I would also keep in mind that even if she did ask, it’s not like Cersei or Littlefinger would ever tell her the truth. Why would they? Does she really want to hear lies and have to think about what the horrible truth might be when she can’t do anything about it? When it comes to Arya, Sansa believes her sister escaped on the ship bound for home. She comforts herself with imagining that Arya is safe and free, and that’s enough to keep her going.
And she prays and sings for Jeyne, wherever she is.
She sang for mercy, for the living and the dead alike, for Bran and Rickon and Robb, for her sister Arya and her bastard brother Jon Snow, away off on the Wall. She sang for her mother and her father, for her grandfather Lord Hoster and her uncle Edmure Tully, for her friend Jeyne Poole, for old drunken King Robert, for Septa Mordane and Ser Dontos and Jory Cassel and Maester Luwin... -- Sansa V, ACOK.
It’s only until later in the books that Sansa feels emotionally at peace enough to start remembering the good times with Arya and Jeyne without breaking down into tears. We can also see the conflicts weren’t always a thing, and the love was strong with all three.
Sansa began to make snowballs, shaping and smoothing them until they were round and white and perfect. She remembered a summer's snow in Winterfell when Arya and Bran had ambushed her as she emerged from the keep one morning. They'd each had a dozen snowballs to hand, and she'd had none. Bran had been perched on the roof of the covered bridge, out of reach, but Sansa had chased Arya through the stables and around the kitchen until both of them were breathless. She might even have caught her, but she'd slipped on some ice. Her sister came back to see if she was hurt. When she said she wasn't, Arya hit her in the face with another snowball, but Sansa grabbed her leg and pulled her down and was rubbing snow in her hair when Jory came along and pulled them apart, laughing. -- Sansa VII, ASOS.
It was most unladylike, but Alayne sound found herself laughing. For just a little while, as she ran, she forget who she was, and where, and found herself remembering bright cold days at Winterfell, when she would race through Winterfell with her friend Jeyne Poole, with Arya running after them trying to keep up. -- Alayne I, TWOW.
So it’s not even that the girls only bond through confiding. They run, play, and roughhouse with each other. It’s interesting that AGOT!Sansa tried to be so mature and proper, but now that she’s older, she’s remembering how good and freeing it was just to be a kid. But let’s not act like this part of the story is over. Jeyne is still very much alive and seems likely to run into Arya in Braavos. We can almost be 100% certain that Sansa will find out the truth about what happened to Jeyne and what Littlefinger did to her (and her parents), then watch out. Sansa will turn all that buried pain into a righteous fury at Littlefinger.
Now as for Sansa being mean for “no reason.” Um... yeah, LOL. Sometimes she’s just a total unwarranted bitch to her sister, and it’s not meant to be a good look. Sometimes she’s superficial, insufferably immature and annoying, judgmental and prejudiced AND THAT’S OKAY. I mean, she sounds no better or worse than your average middle-schooler if they were of the privileged nobility. Guess what? Sometimes preteens are really like that. Sometimes siblings have ugly, knockdown drag out fights where they say horrible things to each other. Most will grow past those phases and still wind up just as loving and close. It’s realistic and believable. Sansa has flaws, but they aren’t deep moral flaws. She does an amazing job at growing, learning, and overcoming those flaws over the course of the books. In TWOW, she’s warm and affectionate with people, easy-going, nonjudgmental, and genuinely more mature than ever. She took the stick out of her ass and became a happier person for it. What’s the problem? What did you want her to be? Perfect? Unfailingly kind and loved by everyone all the time? She’d be a saint, not a multifaceted human being. Even with her occasional ugly side, Sansa is still a strong, smart, compassionate badass. I don’t care if some people don’t like her as she is written or if they vilify her with their misinterpretations or ignore her strengths. What bearing does that have on GRRM’s vision for her character? He never set out to write any character that the whole fandom would either unanimously love or hate.
This is not bad writing. This NOT bad writing. This is GOOD writing.
*Sigh* Listen... this whole nonsense about Sansa being to blame for Ned’s demise has been going on since ASOIAF was written on clay tablets. You don’t have to listen to every stupid thing the fandom says about anything. It’s just factually wrong. End of story. This misinterpretation and reader inattentiveness is not GRRM’s fault, because he lays out all the details of everything that went down between Arya, Ned, and Sansa’s POV as it was happening. It’s totally understandable why an upset and frustrated Sansa would go to Cersei, the mother figure she implicitly trusts and admires. She didn’t go to Cersei to betray her father’s plans. She went to the queen to intercede in what she thought had to be some big misunderstanding, having no idea what was really going on or at stake.
This is not OOC for her to go to Cersei after Lady’s death. The hand that killed Lady was her own father’s, a undeniable breach of trust that wounded their relationship. Ned just doesn’t really do a lot to deal with the emotional aftermath either. Ned and Sansa are very similar in turning a blind eye when confronted with unpleasantness from someone they love. Ned is also at that moment disillusioned with Robert’s failure to do the right thing after the Trident incident. He begs Robert in the name of their brotherly love and the love he bore Lyanna, and Robert turns his back on Ned anyway. Yet Ned immediately goes right back to believing in the best of Robert’s nature, despite all evidence to the contrary. Every sign points to this being a one-sided friendship with Robert being lazy, irresponsible, and completely selfish. Like father, like daughter. Sansa has a very hard time accepting that Joffrey and Cersei are not the people she thought they were, even when she’s seen some cracks. And since she can’t understand her father’s actions and the communication has been shot to hell between them, of course she runs to Cersei with her problems. Cersei can flip a switch and pretend to be kind, loving, and understanding.
This is so typical of a teenage thought process: “Dad just doesn’t understand and he’s making a big mistake. I don’t understand why he’s doing this. He doesn’t get how important this is to me. This will all work out if a sympathetic adult steps in and fixes it. Everything will turn out great and we’ll all be happy.” While Sansa is pouring her heart out about how it isn’t fair she can’t say goodbye to Joffrey, Cersei pretends to be that sympathetic mother figure that really understands her. How hard would it be then to pump Sansa for information? Like “Oh my sweet little dove. I know how much you love my son. Don’t worry. I’ll help you straighten this out. You said your father wants to send you away? How? When? What’s the name of that ship again?”
And that line from Cersei’s POV is horseshit. Cersei is a liar and regularly lies in her POV to absolve herself of responsibility and force the blame entirely on others. In this case, Cersei is acting like she didn’t totally manipulate a trusting child to betray her. We also know this is a lie because Ned was the one that told her himself of his plans to reveal the invest and remove her as queen. Sansa had nothing to do with that. All Sansa did was give Cersei information that allowed Cersei the opportunity to take her hostage before the girls could leave by ship. Cersei’s plans against Ned were already well underway. Sansa never came to her with the intent of knowingly betraying anyone, but she did have selfish reasons for going to the queen to complain in the first place. GRRM said himself that Sansa wasn’t to blame for Ned’s capture or death, but she did play a role in the events that transpired. That’s fair. All that makes her is a kid who made a not entirely innocent mistake, but a mistake nonetheless, which she immediately learned from. Does she trust Cersei or Joffrey again? Hell no.
Relax, anon. It’s fine for her to not be nice all the time. It’s fine for her to have some realistic, garden variety flaws. It’s one of the most universal human mistakes to fall too hard and fast for the wrong person, act the fool over them despite all the red flags, only to realize you only saw what you wanted to see in them. And Sansa learned this lesson at eleven when some adults haven’t learned it at all. Relax. She’s a great, well-written, relatable character who has overcome most of these issues successfully.

I have a lot to say and not enough time to say it. It hurts, but ya’ll know what this is about so if you want my full fandom retrospective opinion thing guys, here.
I’ve been following Vivienne’s art and career since I found her on dA in 2009. I’ve basically grown up with her and have a wide range of opinions up and down her collective work. I must stress that I do not know her as a person and no matter how critical I get in my personal time if I somehow met her in real life or converse with her online again (like, back in the day we went back and forth. She was pretty nice to me), I’d be humble and congratulate her for her success.
Critique does not, EVER equate to attacking people.
But
the reason I don’t call myself a VivziePopVivzmind-fan is the exact same as to why I don’t like the proud use of ‘anti’. Let me try and explain -
The vast majority of Viv fans are just that: fans. Viv’s one of their favorite artists and they’re happy for her and obviously defensive when some mouth breather pops into their fan discussion calling her and all of them trash. Quite a lot of the Hazbin fans I know in my circle of friends are all pretty accepting and agree on the problematic notions and implications of her work.
HOWEVER, there’s a vocal minority in the VivziePop fandom that were and still are toxic. Their specific interest in Viv back in the day was toxic...and now that she’s moved on into a successful career I doubt they’ve gone away, considering the things I’ve heard. These people - they’d flood Viv’s comments sections and stuff with messages like they were talking to her when they weren’t and they’d unironically call her a god in a way that feels like gaslighting, ex: “I’ll NEVER be as good as you Viv! My art is just sooooo unpopular oh god you are incredible no one will ever like you as much as meeeee”. It made me uncomfortable. It made me not want to be around her because these people took Viv’s role in their lives so seriously and their demand for her attention...it struck a nerve.
These same fans have been around long enough to see actual shitlords - the likes of Kiwifarms and tapatalk wikis - come in and actually harass Viv. Viv’s been sent revenge porn by sick freaks who think they’re funny and believe she deserves it. No. In my non-name fan bystander opinion, Viv’s got some shit to work on, but no one deserves raperevenge porn. EVER. It was genuinely bad and yes Viv and her base have every reason to NOT TRUST these communities. Unfortunately, when these incidents happened, these particular fans took it upon themselves to gatekeep the fandom and act like Viv’s unofficial guard against any kind of decenting opinion of her, all without her say so.
((to the critics who will be all “but Viv or Faust said THIS to their fans-”, like I said, Viv’s far from perfect but regardless of how much she prolly wanted people to side with her I’m gonna guess that she didn’t want people sending transphobic death threats to DollCreep. Again, and this is coming from a bystander here, I have a feeling Viv knows about some of the toxicity but doesn’t know how/want to address it - which is a conversation all it’s own.))
This particular breed of VivziePop “fan” holds so much toxicity in her fandom(s). They aren’t the only cause, but they’re there. They feel entitled to her attention and her approval. They creep me out. Having spoken to other much-less critical admitted fans of Viv around me, these fans appear to creep everyone else out and put the rest of the fandom on edge. They’re gatekeepers. They’re creeps. Like the bronies and SU fans of yestertodayyears, they know harassment exists and that people have crossed the line - so they think any means is necessary to prevent that is automatically good. I could pile together all the incidents and folks who’ve had bad runs ins with this aftershock of Viv-obsession, but I do have a life of my own and this post is already stupid long so I’ll just list out the biggest examples and provide receipts when asked.
Critical blogs have gotten RAPE and death threats because they don’t like Viv’s art. HonestZoophobiaCriticisms, a blog I interracted with back in the day, def got one. Now Viv’s opinion of crit-blogs is that they’re “bad takes” but I can assure you she doesn’t want that shit being said on her behalf.
I’ve seen young artists get blacklisted from sites and forums cause they so much as post a redesign. Viv and co get told through the grapevine that someone’s making hatespeech and so preemptively block said person (prolly cause they’re in the middle of WORKING and can’t deal right now) only to find out after the fact that no, it was just a kid drawing their version of her characters. There’s serious miscommunication issues within the fandom about who’s ‘good’ or ‘bad’ and once you get the actual staff involved in this game of telephone you’re begging for trouble. The problem acknowledged, however, it’s souly from the “Viv never did anything wrong camp”. No word is said about how ugly the fandom is under the surface it’s all one type of person’s fault and not complicated’. Blah
I’ve only ever had ONE obsessive ‘fan’ who’d stalk me, mock me, and then redraw my art just to get attention from me. That shit fucked with my head. As a follower hundreds of miles away from Viv who’s agreed/disagreed with her through the years - I absolutely believe her when she says she hates ‘creeps’ and that she doesn’t want anyone in her fandom spreading hate on her behalf. It’s the one thing about her I’m POSITIVELY sure of. Whether she believes that said underlying harassment exists and/or is even a problem within her fandoms is anyone’s guess. That’s not what I’m here for. I’m here to write stupid blog entries like this, talk about fandoms and media and how they and the real world affect one another, and rb fan art I like. I’m cautiously optimistic fan with a side of salt.
Mixed opinions and critique within a fandom CAN and SHOULD exist. Hazbin Hotel has been greenlit by a studio! It has a product line of merchandise you buy. Helluva Boss is getting eight more episodes this coming year (yeeee:3yeeee). Two of Viv’s properties are now products. Nothing is immune from critique. And in critique you will find a lot of people who are not ‘nice’. Critique or analysis doesn’t have to be nice. There will be, in Viv’s words’ ‘bad takes’ on her writing. Maybe they will be actual CinemaSins-styled bad takes or maybe Viv is just mad that people don’t love and feel inspired by her characters the way she wants them to - it’s a fact she’s going to have to get used to.
((TBH, I’m pretty sure she’s already realized that criticism of all types need to exist. It’s just that, again, her and the SpindleHorse staff are kind of overwhelmed by all matter of takes and opinions coming their way they kinda can’t deal weeding out the fair ones from the assholes, so she lumps them all together.))
Shitposters, ironic fans, unironic fans, critical fans, just critics of Hazbin and Helluva CAN and WILL exist. They should exist and not feel threatened by the megafandom. There are people out there who are one step further and rightfully bothered by Hazbin/Helluva’s use of incorrect symbols, portrayal of certain topics, and the response by creators. These people have strong opinions and are actually disgusted by Viv. They deserve to exist too and should not be vilified because, like me, they’re commentary doesn’t consist of anything personal towards the people at Spindlehorse or the fans of her works. They can rant, they can be professional, they can be petty and they can be fair. But they will exist. You have to deal with it.
I am an ADD/OCD ridden autistic woman with serious anxiety issues who has no one to talk to half the time and so only HAS my fandom to communicate with. But that’s just it - it’s a fandom. A community. You have to learn to not think souly of yourself and of others in a community. A fandom doesn’t exist just for you or any one person. You have the right to be angry and defend or be offended. And it’s in the spirit of that that I ask, prrraaaaaay even, that I please
NOT BE CALLED AN “ANTI-ANTI” for not liking the moniker?!
I DON’T TO BE AN “ANTI”. Not ironically, not unironically. ‘Anti’ should be for politics and shit like pedophiles, necrophiles, nazis, serial killer stans, Trump, racists, antisemites, terfs, animal abusers, rapists, and antivaxxers. Anti should only come into critical media analysis when these ethical issues follow suit IN TO fandom discussion. ((EX: Anime and MLP proudly waving their cp and non-con into the public eye; Hazbin appropriating cultural symbols which are not satanic; Basically anything that concerns John K or Butch Hartman.))
If your DNI list unironically consists of the entirety of one fandom: CONGLATURATIONS! You have done the exact same thing these particular creepy Viv fans have done: monopolize the conversation. And yes, people I’m referring to, IT’S STILL A PROBLEM EVEN IF YOU’RE FIGHTING RACISM/SEXISM/HOMOTRANSPHOBIA.
There are hundreds of Vivziefans who ARE more critical, accepting of faults, interested in discussion and especially rewrite and redesign stuff who would LOVE to engage with you and give you a follow. There’s hundreds of people who no doubt agree with you!
But the thing I’ve seen these very proud AntiHazbinVivzieHelluvaWhatever blogs do is lash out at fans for continuing to like Viv and consume Viv’s art in a healthy way. What the actual fuck is your problem?
I get it. Say a crazy Hazbin fan gets on your case for even SUGGESTING Viv could be homophobic ((”SHE’SBIANDWORKSWITHGAYPPLblahablahblah”)). They get in your face, make some callouts, try to rile up support against you, leave disgusting harassment throughout your social media? Absolutely ban worthy. After that it’s perfectly understandable why you don’t want to engage with anything HHHBZPVivzierelated because you’re so fucking tired of being labeled an abuser or “just jealous” for having an opinion on a show you don’t like. I’m with you!
But,
A fan agrees that something in the canon is bad or that Viv did something they don’t like?
A fan likes your silly shitpost meme?
A fan asks if they can like Hazbin and follow you at the same time?
A fan does fan art of something you don’t like?
If your response to any of these ^^^ things is to get LOUD and accusatory, Vivsplain them about how they’re an absolutely awful person to ever question YOUR opinion, or just block them without a second thought? You’re a petty, vendictive shit and you also need to learn to let things go. I’m sorry but you do. As I already said, Viv’s work is a brand at this point, not just the work of a singular person. As such, there are gonna be mixed opinions and you can’t judge every single one of these people by what they like. You’re a shitty critic with a shitty attitude and yes that will demean the value of what you’re saying. This is bad because, if you’re trying to point out how Angel Dust’s abuse IS handled terribly; gay rep in Viv’s work is weak and terrible; the show appropriates closed practices; the fandom makes excuses for predatory artists and creepy behavior and individuals who have sketchy pasts - I’M WITH YOU. WE NEED TO BE TALKING ABOUT THIS SHIT. JUST BECAUSE THESE ARE ADULT CARTOONS SET IN HELL MEANS THERE SHOULD BE ANYTHING CLOSE TO 2013 PONY-TUMBLR. <<<---- this shit is as important to me as it is to you and I really don’t like being called an abuser or apologist for saying “hey maybe blowing up at ppl for the shows they like ISN’T the way to go about this”.
But I have, just like the good old days of 2015 Zoophobia of yore, been blocked because I admit to being tired of ‘Anti’ being equated to ‘critical’. Same with hater.
Critical DOES NOT = Anti+Hater. I’m fucking tired of people saying it does and I’m tired of people taking up the term as some weird form of fandom reappropriation. It’s stupid.
Tl;dr: Once upon a time, I was in a budding fandom for something I liked made by an indie artist I watched on dA. I wanted to be a bigger fan than I was already, but was told by toxic people within said fandom that I couldn’t be part of it for reasons they’d made up in their head about my ‘motives’ against Viv. My admiration for Viv or what I liked about Zoophobia didn’t matter because I thought the story was really rushed and people weren’t being truthful with how they really felt about it - ergo, I HAD TO GO.
Flash forward 8 years later- My opinion of Viv’s body of work has changed but I still find myself in love with her style and some of her characters. I want to be on a forum or service that gives a healthy look at the problems there are with this series and fandom...and I’m met repeatedly by petty bs where people are again at each other’s throats. And yes, I do think it’s causing more harm than good especially when you insist there’s a “x person shouldn’t be trusted” mentality when fighting actual fucking racist, xenophobic, predatory bullshit.
#vivziepop#vivziepop critical#vivziepop drama#hazbin hotel#hazbin critical#hazbin hotel critical#critical hazbin hotel#anti anti#antis#anti hazbin hotel#cause I want both sides of this debaucle to see this and I'm tired#K?

North Node in Gemini: Playful Energy
When the Nodes of Destiny change, there is a shift in the themes that will be prevalent for you at that time. These are moments where dominant themes arise. May 5th, 2020 started with the shift of the Nodes from Cancer & Capricorn to Gemini & Sagittarius. The overall themes and seriousness are more alleviated since we shift over from two cardinal powerhouses to the excitement and spontaneity of the mutable signs. North Node in Gemini wants to learn and is actively trying to understand more of the world they live in. This will be reflected in the area of your chart where Gemini and Sagittarius are located.
1st House / Gemini – A greater focus on the self and on personal relationships. How much we give and receive will be apparent during these transits. Going through a first house nodal shifts can guarantee that relationships will be a theme for the period and the dynamic we have with others as well. Romantic relationships might take on a greater importance or you might just focus on rebuilding yourself. Either way, you will have a lot to learn and will be excited to take in this new information.
2nd House / Taurus – Stability and focus will be on your mind during this transit. With the North Node in Gemini you will find ingenious and creative ways to increase your resources. You might even consider learning a new trait in order to help yourself improve. If you did not know how to manage what you have or were afraid to let go, this period will teach you some harsh lessons on loosening the grip on the material.
3rd House / Aries – This is a very prominent transit to have especially for folks that have lots of planets here. The North Node will make you think more about the area of your life where you need to become more comfortable with self-expression. This transit might make you become a much more critical thinker, evaluating how the lessons of the home learned through North Node in Cancer can be applied to matters of the community.
4th House / Pisces – An interesting position for the Node to be in. It also aspects your 10th house of honors. Predominant themes are balancing home with the life outside of it. Your career might take on a greater importance for you, but make sure not to neglect what is needed at home. Bringing harmony and security for you are also important. Make sure never to lose sight of yourself.
5th House / Aquarius – Later on this year, Saturn will officially remain in your sign for a few years. With this Node shift in Gemini, you will evaluate where you are in life and what you would like to have in the next few years. You balance pleasure with responsibility. Partying and maintaining a productive work life. There will be a sense of appreciation for everything around you, as you become more inspired and creative. This should be an enjoyable transit if you are willing to embrace the spontaneity it will bring.
6th House / Capricorn – The North Node and South Node are no longer bringing about your transformation. You have learned enough about identity with Pluto currently comfortable in your sign. With this shift in Gemini, you will focus on taking care of yourself. Saturn in your sign had you working to the bone and now you will surround yourself with matters relating to home and healing.
7th House / Sagittarius – This is a powerful month for you with the Venus Retrograde making you question relationships and your status in the world, this transit is going to once again bring focus into who you are and what you are made of. The North Node in Gemini is going to make you evolve and this will correlate to how others see you. Rebuild that identity to let go of the past.
8th House / Scorpio – With the focus on finances this year, everyone will want to get ahold of what they have done and will think of ways to rebuild. This is your year to set your foundation and keep building to bring about the security you seek. Major investment plans and financial reconstruction can allow for you to build more for the future. You have come to terms with what you want and now you start to plan and take action.
9th House / Libra– Hope and enlightenment. Be ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and uncovering puzzle pieces. You have already learned what the world expects of you, how to take on challenges and climb to the highest summit. Now you will get ready to explore parts of yourself that will help you express the side of yourself that you have suppressed. New wings will grow to fly.
10th House / Virgo – Successes and the efforts of your hard work will make or break you in this transit. You have reclaimed your moment in the spotlight, so do everything in your power to make the most of it by showcasing what you are capable of doing and more. Also, be wary of you share in the public eye. Responsibility is key.
11th House / Leo – You will evaluate your place in the world, what you have accomplished, what achievements and goals you have made a reality. Do not second guess yourself if you are not satisfied with where you are now. Friends can make an impact in this period of growth and realignment. The North Node in Gemini wants you to continue to push yourself and become triumphant.
12th House / Cancer – There will be changes to the way that your routines are being handled from this moment on. It is a period of reflection and understanding that changes are not as bad as they seem to be. With this shift, you will be more centered and have a greater awareness of what you want in order to truly be happy. This is a meditative transit, opening up your mind and enhancing your thoughts and dreams.

What if I’m Latino and want to draw sapnap as Latino as well? Is neurodivegent headcanons for the dream team okay but this isn’t?
I’ll admit, the lines are blurred with Dream SMP characters because they are both characters and representative of real people. If you want, I can talk about the various levels of Problematic™ that are involved in this question, and since I’m bored and procrastinating, let’s get into it:
First off, there is, actually a history of Tumblr fanartists in particular drawing traditionally white characters as POC and getting backlash for it, so honestly, I’m not totally agains the practice. Frankly, drawing classic characters as POC when they haven’t really been confirmed as any race - just assumed to be the default of white - isn’t a bad thing. One such example is Hermione, who many fanartists have depicted as black, with curly hair or an afro. Because Hermione’s character and story are not intrinsically tied to any particular cultural or explicit details that would make it logically flawed to hc her as non-white, there’s really nothing wrong with this.
This is different from the opposite because it is a way for non-white audiencemembers to drive home the point that non-white Americans/Europeans are, in many ways, just like their white counterparts. That is to say, whether Hermione is black or white doesn’t change who she is; she can be a white English lady or a black English lady, but being black doesn’t necessarily mean she would act any differently or be a totally different person. It is a means to combat the assumption that any American/European character whose culture isn’t explictly brought up by the creator of a work is white.
This isn’t the same as the opposite - portraying POC characters as white - because the latter is a form of whitewashing. When you portray assumed-white characters as POC, you are not erasing anything from that character, while portraying POC characters as white erases their culture, the visibility of that ethnic group/race, and any details the creator of the content might have included in their story about that character. That’s why films are criticized for casting white actors to play POC characters, and artists are criticized for lightening character’s skin tones or erasing physical features of theirs that can be attributed to their ethnic/racial identity.
Now the question with portraying Sapnap as Latino is, is this wrong, exactly? I’d like to preface by saying that everything I’ve said about portraying Sapnap as Latino has been purely my opinion. At the end of the day, I’m not an expert on racial theory or art; I’m just a poli sci major who’s taken a couple courses on racism and has talked and learned a bit about POC in media. You can come to whatever conclusions you like, at the end of the day, and portray him however you like, love.
As I see it, there are several reasons portraying Sapnap as Latino is Problematic™. First off, Sapnap and other white members of the Dream SMP already have problems with recognizing POC and the implications of POC within the SMP. Sapnap has actually answered a donation before by saying that he’s not 100% white because he’s part-Greek, completely unironically and without recognizing why him saying that was wrong. Imo, this indicates a lack of understanding for what it really means to be a POC in Western countries that so many white people exhibit. Being a person of color in Western Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, etc., means functioning within a society where you have to battle with yourself everyday your own, multiple, and seemingly contradictory identities. It means functioning within a society where you have to navigate the crossroads of oppression within you must survive. White people who falsely claim that they aren’t white like this simply don’t understand or are even aware of exactly what it means to be shaped by the oppression of being a person of color. They believe that being a person of color, beyond occassionally experiencing explicit racism, is just a label and a tie to one’s ancestry, when it’s much more beyond that. And the thing is, Sapnap can’t claim that label because he simply hasn’t gone through the lived experience of a POC in the United States. And that’s fine. It’s fine to be white, and to just be a little ignorant to your whiteness. I’m not attacking Sapnap by pointing this all out, I’m just stating facts.
Secondly, this would mean that a 100% white person is essentially playing the role of a Latino character, which is already a far-too common practice in film and TV showmaking. Then again, I will admit that a counter-argument can be made here, in that, headcanons are not actually canon to the Dream SMP plot. For example, Ranboo has told his audience he’s fine with viewers headcanon’ing his character as nonbinary, even though Ranboo himself is cisgender. This is an ambiguous aspect of his character that can be manipulated however the viewers like since there has been nothing within the canon to refute it, so far. However, it would be a different matter entirely if Ranboo, a cisgender man, attempted to write his character as a nonbinary person and then act out that nonbinary character himself. That would actually be unjust and kinda fucked. Now, along a similar vein, one could argue that audiencemembers headcanon’ing Sapnap as Latino isn’t really a bad thing since it isn’t Sapnap himself trying to portray what he believes a Latino character would be like. So I get the potential counter-argument there.
Thirdly, my main problem with this whole drawing Sapnap as Latino ordeal is the hypocrisy of it all. Far too often within this fandom, I see fanartists and writers erase Quackity’s ethnic identity, whitewashing him in their art or completely disregarding his race in their work. And while one could argue that the lack of focus in this fandom on Skeppy can be explained by his infrequent streams and departure from the SMP lore, Ponk is rarely drawn or written about, and he streams regularly and always has something going on with his character, in side plots or otherwise. I just find it lowkey absurd that this fandom thirsts for a Latino character so bad that it has to portray Sapnap, who is played by a white actor, as Latino, when there are other POC whose identities are either disregarded or the characters as a whole ignored.
Fourth, my main question, at the end of the day, is, why are we not advocating for more POC in the SMP? Why headcanon characters as POC, when they could literally just make an effort to uplift more POC CCs, who are highly marginalized within the streamer and Youtube communities? I’m Latinx too, mate, and I’d fucking love more POC characters to fall in love with, but Sapnap isn’t the one to fill that hole.
Regarding other sorts of headcanons and how those relate to headcanon’ing characters as different races: my thoughts on this are way too complicated, at the moment. But to sum it up as concisely as possible: a) I am not neurodivergent, as far as I know, so I cannot do the subject nearly as much justice as a neurodivergent person could; b) my thoughts still kinda align with the same thought process as race - that it’s useful to hc characters as neurodivergent because it helps to break stigmas that ND people are so vastly different from neurotypical people that traditionally-assumed neurotypical people couldn’t possibly actually be ND; c) I would still advocate for more ND representation in the SMP, rather than try to warp the neurotypical people’s characters to fit into that yearn for representation that I so desire; d) there actually are ND people on the SMP - a couple of people with ADHD, as far as I know - who do exhibit ND characteristics in their characters/lore, as well, so frankly, why not give those characters ND hc’s?
Anyways, this was so much longer than I wanted it to be and I still don’t know if I fully articulated my take on the subject properly. It’s really just too complicated a subject to be applied to Dream SMP fanart, so my conclusion is: Imma diss people for drawing Sapnap as Latino when Quackity is RIGHT THERE, and you can draw him however the hell you like. At the end of the day, we’re both just people obsessing over block men, and there’s no significant harm that will come from either of our opinions or your artwork. I hope this was a satisfying answer, and seriously, thank you for getting me to write this all out because it actually made me realize that I’m not as fully against the idea as I thought I was <3

So can we talk later?
Soft/tipsy!Brad
Synopsis: You’re in UNI and work as a part time Uber-driver during the weekends. A late Friday evening you meet Brad.
STATUS: PUBLISHED
Words: 1337
(Not proofread)
(Y/N) POV:
You check your phone as the girls leave the car. You’re hoping for at least one more ride before you call it a night.
“Have a great night ladies!” You wave them off as they say their thanks and slam the car door shut. Well, that’s one way of describing your workday.
The whole idea with being an Uber driver in UNI was to actually find a way to make some extra cash since living in London is expensive. You usually just drive people from the same UNI as you, but every now and again some other cliques make their way into your car. Your most driven route is campus - Ballie Ballerson Shoreditch which is the most visited club in your friend group. You always end up there, so it’s nice knowing people you care about get home safely (and for some coins).
You’ve parked the car not far from the entrance and you see how the bouncer is waving for the girls, that you just had dropped off, to step forward to the next section. One in, one out. Covid really screwed nightlife over. You’re skipping to the next song and refreshing the Uber app. A yawn escapes your lips while you’re scrolling through the dark map on your phone. Just a few people online. You click their profiles and make your decision based on their score and where they’re going. You take a few extra minutes to yourself before hitting confirm route. Back on the road again.
You see a guy waiting outside a steakhouse with his head deeply focused on his screen. He seems to be typing something. You drive up to him and start lowering your window down in hopes of him noticing you. “Brad?” you then say and his gaze leaves his phone, meeting your eyes.
“Oh hi! I’m sorry I got a bit carried away with this text-.., sorry again. (Y/N) was it?”
“Yeah, that’s me. How are you?” you say, shooting him a smile.
“Wonderful! I’m good, thanks, you?” he beams, opening the car door. “I didn’t expect anyone to pull up so quickly” he then adds, chuckling.
I let out a quiet laugh.
“I’m alright, was just contemplating whether I was going to call it a night or not, but saw you’re heading the same way as me so thought I’d be kind and give you a ride” I say, smiling.
“Haha, that’s so nice of you. Yeah I’m just heading over to some mates for a few beers. They live near the university” he says and I nodd.
We drive for a bit and Brad’s notifications are the only sounds filling the car.
“So what’s your major?” you then say since he mentioned university.
Brad chuckles. “Oh haha, no I’m not in uni. I have some friends from home who studies there”
“Oh.., I assumed you were haha. You look like some of the communication majors at campus, haha. Maybe literature even” I point out and he laughs.
“Really? I’ll take it” he responds.
“Yeah” I breathe out, smirking a little.
“Bold of you to assume that haha” he says, facepalming. “Nah, but you’re not far from wrong. I make music and write stuff so not far off”
“Oo, are you any good?” I ask and he nods confidently.
“We’re alright, I do the singing mostly haha. I play guitar and keyboard as well”
“Okay, go off! that’s cool!” I say, nodding as I make an impressed face.
“Yeah, well I’m in a band so I guess we lean on each other for support. I’m not in it alone thankfully.” Brad says whilst responding to texts. He sighs heavily.
Silence fills the car again. “Rough night?” I then ask.
He sighs again.
“Yeah, I guess. It’s just hard to compromise with my bandmates sometimes because I’m usually the one that agrees to ideas instead of actually bringing things to the table”
I shake my head, giggling. He then realises what he had just said.
“No no, it’s not like i’m some lazy piece of shit and not coming with ideas, but I’m just better at listening and accepting stuff..,-” he scratches his forehead. “I don’t know why I’m telling you this. We just met haha”
Your smile faded. He was right, you two had just met, yet he was so unaware of how much he had improved your mood.
“You’re right, haha, sorry for..,- I don’t know, intruding?” I say in an asking tone.
“It’s alright,” he responds.
Awkward.
“You’re really good at making your customers feel comfortable,” he says and I start laughing.
“Hahaha”
“OH no, dear god” I look over at him, noticing his adorable smile. Poor guy, he’s blushing. “I’m sorry, I’ve had a few beers already. Please ignore me” he facepalms again.
You’re shaking your head with a smile playing on your lips.
“You’re definitely good with words. You must be a phenomenal songwriter” you tease him.
“Hey” he exclaims and you laugh. “Fair enough, I deserved that”
“Don’t worry, I’m just teasing. I’m sure you’re great” He chuckles and says thanks.
You look over at your phone to check the directions as you guys are approaching the university. If you turn left on this street you’re pretty close to your apartment.
“They live in an apartment complex down this street on the left,” he says, pointing to the opposite side of the road you’re driving on.
You look at him confused.
“You mean on the right, here, but left side of the road?” you ask.
“Oh shit, yeah, sorry. Turn right here and then left side of the road.”
“Roger that!” you say and he giggles.
“Ay this might come off as weird nd creepy, but do you have snap or socials?” he then asks and you’re caught a bit off guard.
“Uh-”
“You don’t have to answer. I just find you really cool” he says, smiling. “-and this is not the few beers speaking”
“haha, I mean let me end the ride first and then I guess we can talk”
“Yes ma’m”
You park the car and press on your phone to end the ride.
“You better give me a good score” you say, smirking down at your phone.
“I’ll give you a good score if you give me your number”
You gasp, shaking your head smiling. “smooth, young man”
“You can have my Instagram” you then say. “It’s (Y/User/N)”
“I’ll follow you when I’m at my mates”
“Okay cool!” You say, looking at him with a smile. He returns it.
*
You lock your door as you walk across the room to reach your bed. You lived in a small student apartment. Some of your friends lived either in the same apartment complex or across the street which was really nice.
Your body hits the soft mattress and you immediately start scrolling through your socials. You refresh your DMs on Instagram countless times eager to hear from the charming Uber boy.
Silly me, It really has come down to this huh, you think.
But there it was, the waiting game was over.
bradleywillsimpson
‘Hey it’s me from the Uber ☺️’
You click his name before responding to anything and as soon as you see his profile your mouth falls open.
1.5M followers. Who have you just met? - you think with your thoughts going a-thousand miles per hour.
You start of with commenting on the fact that he completely missed out on letting you in on the information that he’s famous.
(See conversation below)
You catch yourself smiling in the reflection of the phone screen.
This guy really made a good impression on me, you think dropping your phone onto the mattress.
‘Buzz’
You check your phone again, already mentally opening your Instagram DMs.
‘Thank you (Y/N)! Have a good night as well. Here’s my snapchat (Brad’s/Snapchat/Name) if you wanna talk more casually☺️ my DMs get pretty fucked easily..”
‘Talk later!!’
You stare at the username for a solid minute.
Oh my god, what is tonight?

There will be some sort of part 2 to this. Hope you like it! Make sure to LIKE and REBLOG if you want☺️

Am I...?? (Inwardly GASPS)!! Which Part...??
Today is March 2nd 2021 and I got my puter back and went to look at what I had last written on December 16th 2020. When I opened the file, it had been changed… dates had been obscured and certain things had been reworded… So… I have decided to go back through all of my previous posts to ensure the integrity of what I am writing stays that way! During this process I will be putting together a collection of my favorite quotes and post fragments. Which I will dub Rock and Roll’s Greatest Hits, if you live near me go buy airhorns Ill tell you why, When the greatest hits album comes out. What your about to read is primarily from Dec. 16th with a few changes or should I say… restorations?? Probably a little of both to be honest. Everything is still as it happened, I just add better descriptive words and fine tune the analogies so that they are easier to digest… My English teacher always told me that was what I was good at! Along with many others… who have said the same… not only do I understand it… I’m able to explain it in a way that others understand as well. ENJOY
On the seventh of December I woke up not too sure if something had occurred that night or not… as I have mentioned before they use a numbing agent that basically masks the pain until it wears off approximately 12 hours later… When I a woke on this day I was having moments of clarity and for some reason just couldn’t keep them to myself. talking to one of the staff members of the homeless shelter I expressed my destiny that I actually had one, that was going to bring me to greatness… then out of nowhere I just blurted out there is going to be a power shift!!!! And at that very moment I couldn’t believe what it was that had just come out of my mouth. I didn’t even believe it at first because the guy at the desk was like IDK… about… that… but when I went back into my room, the look on my roommate’s face said it all!! It seems as though those who pull strings and orchestrate a lot of this… put all of their eggs into one basket. I don’t know exactly what the terms of thee bet were but I’m assuming it had/has something to do with me not being able to control my compulsivity associated with my dissociation. Unfortunately for them I made a deal with God. It was while I was on quarantine and even though I was in a basement all by myself people kept F$%^&*!> with me. This is when I prayed stating that I would not falter, for my body his temple his craft and his glory. that I need to take care of myself and my destiny, for it is in his hands and I won’t let my selfishness or imperfections stop him from fulfilling his plan. Over and over again I have cried and cried about how fundamental and powerful this is all going to be. EFFIN CRAZY!! And now that I know without anyone telling me and it literally being given to me somehow is what is freaking everybody out. How do I know or how the hell did I figure it out!! I really couldn’t tell you and the only thing that is possible is that our Creator endowed me with such responsibility. Crazy!! (this was before I considered the probability of God being a woman, A mother, A Lover)
Low and behold one of my favorite artists Mr. Kid, Maniac, Rager, Wizard, Pursuer of Happiness Cudi dropped a new album entitled Man on the MOON Three. Ill have to say it’s a wonderfully made album! The album delves deep into who Scott is… I know the Fans are going to love it.
Rewind a little bit sorry for my hiatus just needed to stay focused and well as your aware have been led here not by accident and had some things that I needed to take care of before I started writing again. Not to mention I have been dealing with a lot only to know that I am who I am for a reason Rockstar Knights off MOTM3 has a lot to say concerning who I am and what I have realized as a result to my struggle. The Song is a collab with Trippie Redd and really encapsulates so much, that its hard to describe in words.
I had a very interesting conversation with my mother the other day and came to a pretty profound thought. 1st I was telling her how I was being told that I am too….!!! Smart!! Like WTF!! REALLY!! Is that even a thing?? But I didn’t let it get to me too much as it probably is the reason I face so much adversity, No matter the community I enter into. This is how I have explained it to her and a couple other people in the community as well as the Rasta Man in the PNW. The best analogy I could present is if a plant with a fire burning so big and so hot on one side of the plant, a fire so big and hot that it probably would kill most other plants, but not this plant. This plant had sooooo much drive and will to live that instead of giving up it grew in the opposite direction of the blaze. While the roots could withstand the blazing inferno becoming one with the heat and pain Upon the journey away from the fire (society) the plant developed different characteristics colors and attributes that no other plant had. Essentially that journey completely changed that plants physiology Psychology and possible its genetic makeup altogether. Now that the plant has grown so far from the fire (Society) that its all alone. Now theres a different kind of fire where he once thought was safe. But as he grows back towards the fire to escape the new blaze (tyranny) he realizes he will never be able to be the same as the fire he grew so far away from. Now the only option the plant has with death being imminent is to grow as big and bright as quickly as possible before it is engulfed on all sides.
All this taken into account along with factoring in the two major belief structures in the world one Being Creation or Evolution (The Big BANG) this plant which has defied all odds still shines brightly displaying its colors and unique characteristics no matter how dark the room may be it still continues to bloom! Is this a Divine will and plan or are we experiencing the next step of Evolution??? My honest opinion is its both! For the mere ability to adapt and change and prevail in situations others couldn’t dream of or even have nightmares about is truly remarkable and in my eyes is an act of GOD! Just as any evolutionary step would be. The crazier part is… he has no handle!! Nothing to grab on to leaving no way for anyone to grab hold and control! AYE….
I thought this all might just be me being stubborn or simply an idiot until for some reason I opened up my meme App. Something I never open or even look at and the first thing that popped up was a picture and quote saying that many told Marilyn Monroe that she was only beautiful because of the clothes and dresses she wore. It then concluded Marilyn Monroe did a photoshoot in nothing but a burlap potato sack. The photos and the message she sent were completely opposite of that which was being said by spectators. Now!! As scrolled to the second meme I was expecting something funny!! That wasn’t the case what I saw next was the upcoming alignment of the two largest planets in the solar system Jupiter and Saturn. Not only does their alignment happen only every 20 years but the proximity of this occurrence to the earth as well as the proximity to each other hasn’t been the same for close to 800 years… What does it all mean… IDK but The Christmas Star is what their calling the alignment and if your familiar with the bible is the star that the kings, from other lands followed to bring gifts to baby JESUS! Who knows what this alignment could usher in.?
So profound thought comes to me on a daily basis now it’s so strange the way that it comes it will just be momentary thoughts that will pass through my conscience and as they go by I latch on to it delve a little deeper and experience an overwhelming amount of… IDK what to call it but it feels very powerful so much so that it brings me to tears… I don’t know exactly what the future holds but I think that is what makes this so great! I just keep my mind open Like apple IOS Systems letting everything come and go as it pleases when something goes by that strikes me, I latch on and don’t let go. Its weird how it all happens.
Steve Jobs once said that if he had never had an acid trip that he would have never of come up with the operating system for Apple and after explaining to you what I do as a spiritual and destiny seeking process I believe was his thought process as well. This in of itself is what I think they mean when they say to keep an open mind. Just so you know I didn’t come up with that little bit about the late Mr. Jobs by plan it just came to me when thinking about how to have, use and keep an open mind.
The reason I explained this to you was because this is how I Pray! After I pray I sit still with an open mind allowing multiple ideas thoughts and perspectives to pass through my brain… until like an IOS operating system, something speaks to me… when I latch on to it, focus on what it means and what it will mean… “I Get Those Goosebumps Everytime” (Goosebumps, Travis Scott, feat. Kendrick Lamar, Birds in the Trap Sing Mcknight, 2016). This is how you know! A little extra for ya, when I went to look up the info for my first Hip Hop citation it was 11:11 lol there they go again… its really a cool feeling!
Can someone tell me if that APA or MLA…?? Ya know what!! Eff IT!! None of my writing is orthodox, besides I kinda like the way I did it haha
Kid Cudi’s new video just dropped and I couldn’t be more amazed with all of the hidden messages that are in there. He is officially the man on the moon. Passion pain and demon slaying like a maniac on the pursuit of happiness. Love that DUDE!!
That’s all I got for 12-16-2020 Five More Days…
LOVE & PEACE
Songs
Heaven On Earth – Kid Cudi
Goosebumps – Travis Scott, feat. Kendrick Lamar
Dirty Heads – Sound Of Change
Just so you know the only thing I added this time other the cleaning up what I had already written was the praying part. Although I originally remember that being the purpose as to why I wrote what I did looking at it today March 2nd 2021 it wasn’t there… have a great day everyone. Ill post this on 3/3/2021
I've added parts to the story on my business cards and will leave then random places, what you do with them is up to you but I think It would be cool for those who want to stop me to have to work extra hard just like they make me!!

Yoongi’s passion has always been one of your favourite things about him- if he cares about something, he’ll give his all to it. Thankfully you fall under that category. The only question is whether you’re first or second on the list, constantly competing with his music.
With Yoongi garnering a fair amount of success from his life as an underground rapper, you understand why it’s starting to take over more and more of his life, you really do. You loved Yoongi, you loved his music. But you couldn’t help but start to… miss your boyfriend. A sad irony that you could miss the man who’s been, as of late, spending the majority of his time in his ‘studio,’ aka the spare room of your shared apartment that he said was about a quarter the size of a proper studio.
How could you miss someone that was less than fifteen feet away from you, two doors away? You weren’t sure that it was possible until now, lying in bed, Yoongi’s side cold and the offensive red light of your bedside alarm clock telling you it’s far past the time your boyfriend promised he’d be in bed by. You sigh, sitting up, knowing that you wouldn’t get any sleep if you just sat there and stewed in your negativity. So instead you’d seek him out.
Thankfully there isn’t a lock on the door, he hasn’t gotten around to putting one in yet. You know the day will come soon, since last time your friends were over, Jungkook and Jimin had managed to sneak their way in, looking like guilty puppies when Yoongi had caught them.
Lock or not, Yoongi didn’t even hear you, ears covered by his almost comically oversized headphones, his dyed blonde head bobbing to whatever beat he’s working on at the moment. You can’t help but smile fondly at the sight of your sweet boy so immersed in the thing he’s dedicated his life to.
He’s only made aware of your presence when you wrap your arms around his shoulders from behind. He finally takes those ridiculous headphones off, pausing the track and letting you rest your chin on the top of his head.
You look at the two monitors in front of him as though you have any idea what’s going on on the screens. “Hard at work, huh genius?”
You feel him cock his head under you and he hums gently, one of his large hands- something about him you first fell in love with when you saw it, pale and slender, gripping a microphone on stage- grabbing at yours. “Sorry,” He mumbles, and you can tell by the timber and the gruffness of his voice that he hasn’t spoken a word since he came into this room a couple of hours ago. “Lose track of time in this room. No windows.”
“S’okay Yoon. Just missed you is all.”
Your words are innocent but they tug at his heart and make him shut his eyes for a moment. He never wants to make you feel like second best, but the way he falls into things sometimes makes him forget that anything else exists in the world. But now he wants to be close to you, to touch you, to make it all up to you.
“C’mere,” He’s tugging at the hand he has in his grip, and he keeps tugging until you’ve circled around his chair to stand in front of him. “Up on my lap, babe.” An offer you couldn’t refuse. So you don’t.
You’re straddling him now, well-toned but not overtly muscular thighs under you- a familiar and welcoming seat of yours. His warmth is comforting to you and vice versa. “I’ve been neglecting you, haven’t I?” You don’t want to say yes, afraid of hurting his feelings but the pout that graces your features gives it all away.
“I know, baby, I’m sorry,” One of his large hands comes up to cup your face, and he coos softly when you lean and nuzzle into his palm, as if he isn’t thinking of all the filthy and depraved things he’s been missing out on with you while he’s been cooped up in his studio. “‘M gonna make it up to you.”
And then his mouth is on yours, and you’re reminded why you love kissing Min Yoongi so much. He’s careful and intense, every movement backed by the same confidence and dominance he exudes when he’s on stage. It’s when you deepen the kiss, his tongue slipping into your mouth, skilled and tactful, that you realize you weren’t just here for a quick visit.
“Yoongi,” You murmur as soon as he’s pulling back, detaching your mouths. You’re momentarily hypnotized by the string of spit that still connects the two of you, staring at it until it breaks. Yoongi notices this fascination of yours, and give you a smirk you regret ever confessing to him you find sexy.
“Are you getting all desperate for me, silly girl? Hm?” You can’t help but rut your hips against his own at the words, loving the way they fall out of his mouth so lazily but with as much purpose as a presidential speech. “So needy ‘nd squirmy for me… Love seeing you so fucking desperate, you know.” His hands are travelling up your sleep shirt- aka an old band shirt of his that you had staked your claim over before the two of you had even moved in together.
His hands don’t go where more inexperienced ones might immediately go but instead traverse up and down your back, leaving delicious goosebumps in their wake. You shiver both from the feeling, and from the anticipation of what’s to come. You go to take your shirt off but are stopped by two hands circled around your wrists. “Patience,” Yoongi’s voice is next to your ear now, as he’s pulled you down using the grip he has on you.
He’s made it clear that while you may be on top of him, he’s the one with control. And he’s fucking revelling in it, you can see it in the sparkle in his eyes as he lets go of your wrists. “Don’t worry, baby, I’ll take care of you, I promise,” You trust him wholeheartedly, and communicate this with a nod. You know he understands when his hands slide down, under your shirt once more, this time staying far lower.
“Soaking wet and I’ve barely even done anything,” He’s so cocky and you should be annoyed but you can’t find it in you, instead you feel yourself get even hotter at his words. “Panties off, little girl.”
His tone leaves no room for arguing, so you scramble to stand up and follow his demands, panties lost somewhere behind him. You go to get back onto your spot on his lap, missing it already, but are stopped once more by his hands. One is on your waist, holding you steady, only using a portion of its strength and the other is on your face, squishing your cheeks, opening your mouth and pushing your lips out obscenely.
He looks like he’s still deciding what the hell to do with you, how hard to go. Then he’s cocking his head, brazen smirk back on his face as he pushes you down to your knees. The carpeting immediately makes the position uncomfortable as you feel it grating against the skin of your knees. But any discomfort is immediately quelled, or, at least, forgotten, at the sight and sound of Yoongi undoing his belt in front of you- any thoughts of your knees and carpet burn are replaced with the thoughts of Yoongi’s cock. He had that effect on you.
He chuckled at the look in your eyes, finally releasing himself from the confines of his jeans. He sighs at the release, cold air hitting his skin a shock to his rock hard dick. “Practically fucking drooling for this cock, aren’t you?” You nod earnestly and lean forward, towards his cock where his hand works over it lazily. He grabs a fistful of your hair with his other hand, withholding you from what you really want. “So fucking desperate, you slut. You wanna suck my cock so bad? You better do a good fucking job of it, convince me you deserve it in that slutty cunt of yours.”
You barely have time to think about how quickly he shifted from the sweet, loving Yoongi you normally know to this darker version of Yoongi, the one that comes out whenever he’s properly turned on before his hand that’s fisted in your hair is dragging you toward his achingly hard cock. You open your mouth, ready and willing, and mouth at his tip, letting your spit, your drool, collect and fall over it, dripping down the rest of his impressive length. You pull back to give the tip a gentle kiss, barely holding back a giggle when it jumps angrily at you
He breathes out heavily from his spot above you and yanks you back off his cock. “You wanna be a messy fucking tease? Fine. Open your mouth. Now,” You do as he says, not wanting to anger him further.
He collects spit in his own mouth, and you're made to sit and wait patiently, hair a mess and mouth wide open. You don’t have to wait long until he spits into your mouth, the act so filthy, so dirty, you can only close your eyes and whimper, so turned on from it all that you can feel your own wetness starting to drip down your thighs. Messy. “Don’t swallow,” He doesn’t need to explain more as he leads you back to his cock.
You let the combination of your and his spit fall onto his cock, the act obscene but astoundingly erotic. You finally start to swallow down his length like you know he wants, your hands coming up to help. Both of his hands are in your hair now, entirely controlling your actions, the speed of which your sucking his cock.
He finally pushes you down as far as he can, your hands falling to his thighs. Your nose is against his stomach, tickled by the sparse amount of hair there. You can barely breathe from this position, but you take it if only for the groans you hear tumble out of his mouth. “Such a good girl, my best fucking slut,” You moan at the praise, the vibrations making his head fall back on his chair. There’s drool covering both him and your face now, tears welling at the corners of your eyes from the intensity, and every second you can feel yourself getting wetter.
His hands fall slack on your hair, but you don’t pull back just yet, instead, taking the opportunity to swallow around him once, twice, three times. He yanks you off of his cock, his breathing ragged and heavy. He looks at you with a half-lidded gaze. “Up.”
It’s only one word, but he doesn’t need anymore, not with a commanding tone like that. You get back on his lap, immediately calmed and comforted by the spot. He finally tears off the shirt, now wrinkled and covered in drool and precum.
“Now fucking sit on it,” And you can hardly hold yourself back, eagerly lifting yourself up and positioning the head of his cock against your slick entrance. You let yourself fall, the whole of him filling you up perfectly, and so so good.
Yours and Yoongi’s groans mingle together in an unrivalled harmony, the two of you still for a moment as you bask in the feeling. “Being such a good fucking girl,” His hands work up and down your sides. “Now fuck yourself on my cock, and don’t you dare stop. Don’t stop until you full of my fucking cum, ‘till you’re my perfect, messy bitch.”
You start slowly, lifting yourself up until barely an inch is left in your pussy, and drop all the way back down. You continue like this, deep, strong strokes, slowly speeding up until your bouncing on his lap, the obscene sounds of the two of you filling the room, your very own symphony when combined with your groans.
“So good, baby, so fucking good, bouncing on my cock, gonna make such a fucking mess out of you, yeah?” He’s lifting his hips to meet yours, making every downstroke that much more intense.
He lands a spank on your ass, then another, the sharp pain only serving to make you wetter and bounce on him harder. He chuckles in between moans. “You like that, huh? You’ll take anything I give you, ‘cause you’re my perfect little whore.”
You can feel the crescendo coming, building up like a tsunami. “Yoongi- Yoongi please, please, you have to let me come,” Any other time you’d have reservations about begging, but when it came to Yoongi, all pride was left at the door. “Need it.”
“I have to? I don’t have to do anything, whore,” His hand is back on your face, lips puckering out again. You nod in desperate agreement. He’s collecting spit in his mouth once more and you open your mouth wider in anticipation of what’s about to come. He spits in your mouth again, this time wanting you to swallow. It’s a dirty act, so vulgar, and you both groan at the site.
“You see that, slut? You swallow my spit, bounce on my cock and cum for me, all when I fucking tell you to? You understand?”“Yes, Yoongi I do, I’m sorry, please, I’m sorry, jus’ lemme cum.”
“Yeah, yeah, do it, fucking come for me.”
And cum you do, the feeling washing over you like nothing else, eyes closing and your head burrowing itself into Yoongi’s neck, the smell of his sweat comforting. You can hear Yoongi talking himself and you through your orgasms, but the words are too much for you to focus on. You can only feel his cum fill you up, already starting to spill out of you.
You’re both panting in the aftermath, his hands, once harsh, now softly caressing your back. The two of you are slick and sticky with sweat, but it’s the last thing on your minds.
“You still need to work on that song or are you finally gonna come to bed?”
“Please, neither of us are leaving that bed for the next 48 hours, besides to get the door for the take out we order.”
“Sounds perfect.”

Contexts
Lately I’m still feeling very reluctant about blogging and write reflections from time to time, especially the weather had made me quite ill and unproductive. The book art responding to 24/7 started off brightly, but now I am experiencing the phase I would had the same in every other project, which I start being very skeptical on whether if this is a good idea to keep developing on.
So for clarity, for my own reference, I’ll try to explain what I will be doing to myself through inscription to boost my own confidence on this one.
Basically, we all started from the same point, which is to go to 24/7 in Somerset House and see the works being curated together in there. ‘Sleep’ and ‘Surveillance’ were some of the strong concepts being emphasized throughout the exhibition, but I had enough of explaining what I’ve seen there because I’m pretty sure I have done it multiple times already. I will directly skip to the inspiration part. Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg’s Synthetic Orchestration gave me an idea of doing a book with birds as the major appearance in book, her work displayed the restlessness from urban life had extended, and disrupted biosphere as well, causing birds to sing earlier and loud, a change in their communicating mechanisms.
Birds are such fragile yet agile animals that we spot commonly in a lot of places. They have co-existed and dwell in the city with humans for long ages, and I do believe the 24/7 culture shapes their life different in many ways, emerging the traits from a sleepless routine into their nature. Besides light and sound pollution coming from either rapid industrialization or for the needs of working class, there are more physical environmental pollutions than we could imagine that are forcing birds and the other part of nature to adapt such an anxious living mode, which is almost incompatible to most of our natures, not just as human, but as a moral living creature.
What I always found fascinating about birds, is how their life cycle works. Depending on larger or smaller breeds, there’s quite a range in life span, but what matter the most is the stages in life to them are pretty much the same. They go from eggs to hatchlings, nestlings to juvenile and lastly, subadult to fully mature. For smaller breeds, their dead bodies are usually hard to find, as instead of natural causes, they mainly died from predation due to their position in food chain. I don’t actually think there’s any part seems so magical about the life of birds, but I’m just genuinely interested in where do they go before and after at the stage where they still require parental care. Just like the type of things we face in our lives, I study it to try to find associations, because associations always makes good metaphors in communication.
Cutting to the chase, so how is the contextualization working in this project? Some of the people look into how 24/7 culture and late capitalism keep infecting birds, or just genuinely urban wildlife in future, and the unpredictability of impact on the nature just remind me the fact that many people are yet to be delivered to this world, until the age of much more uncertainties comes. For some other family-related certain issues, I decide to dedicate this book art project to the next generation, the generation alpha, a generation fully immersed into the bestest technologies we are seeing nowadays. Some may argue that millennials and generation Zs were already those people of era that lacked the witness of how technology shifted rapidly. What separate us apart from generation alpha, is they will face contract to social media in a much younger age and also a larger extend then we did. It is good or bad? As always, for generally any topics, there are always the good side and the bad side, but only to find out which will outweigh which.
For example, from a video I watched recently that explains a marketing strategy labelled as a creation under ‘late capitalism’, which companies like fast food chain restaurants would take their online presence onto a personification, creating a less formal and official link with netizens, which in contrast boosted their ‘relatability’ and proximity to the public, a friend-like approachable figure with certain unique personalities which could summon an entire ‘fandom’, instead of just a platform grouped with admins that give you really polite but autogenerated replies. The publication and use of hugely popularized substances in millennials and gen Zs like ‘memes’ are largely used to gather a fan base. The idea is no longer to make professional promotions and advertisements in order to attract customers, but to immerse some kind of virtual character into your life, an online presence that you actually think of as a mortal person or even an acquaintance you know from online, that marketers found best apply to the newer generations people.
This kind of techniques start appearing in about mid 2010s, which is the age where generation alpha could either just born, already been born, or starting to explore the world and gotten exposed to internet. Saying this also mean that most of these kids will not be able to witness how these marketing strategies were used and a world before such things existed, and what happens is that it could be very difficult for them to be aware of not constantly getting instilled with such ideas and ‘advertisements’. It sounds like its merely, remotely related to how late capitalism brings 24/7 culture, sleeplessness, blablabla…. But the idea is, there will be people out there, trying to be your friend and mostly their only purpose is to make themselves hard to be gotten rid out of your heads. The world is spinning at hot speed, and each day there are people coming up with multiple ideas about advertisements or other idea-instilling mechanisms, that seems very harmless on surface, but also doesn’t make an antipathic psychological effect on general public. The true negative effects are very subconscious and unpredictable, and that’s what makes it scarier, it will probably make the next generation even less independent with a mobile device or social medias, even we together will bring more advancements in the foreseeable future.
The questions I kept asking myself, is what will happen to them? How will they cope with many upcoming challenges? Will we altogether, be able to solve the problems together? With medical advancements, the latest two generations of people (0-20) are currently treated with the best medical welfare and medication, who are believed to potentially live until 22nd Century. With that being said, generation z and alpha’s timeline of life will be quite similar and will be sharing a lot of time working and collaborating together. What are the things we as a previous generation, a multitude of people who have slightly witnessed a bit more than the alphas do, can remind them of? What are the things generally everyone out there can advise these hatchlings who haven’t seen the world yet? Even though myself is still in an early stage of exploring how this world work under the current system, what are the things we need to fight against? What are they thing we should believe in or not?
I guess these could be counted as my responses to the exhibition, not initially though. I will never be able to find the most fully-covered or precise answers to these questions, but I will try to explore them, and find the keys to the doors after another one. For the book, I focused mainly on the message and with my limitations on accurate measurements, I was a bit uncomfortable in trying to create a distinct format or an original prototype to the book itself. What I want to do, is illustrate the life of birds with multiple medias. What I have already done is screenprinting, drawings with unorthodox ways and digital amendments, the main idea is to create digitally configurated images with natural techniques (sunography in replacement of x-ray? Handdrawing instead of computer-generated image) . During the growing up process for the birds, they don’t face terrorisms or wars, but they face the terror of being exposed to technology and medias in an early age, which effects are quite inmost as I have mentioned.

Victims With Numbers
Fandom: Nanbaka/Corpse Party (crossover) Genre: Horror Characters: Hajime Sugoroku, Samon Gokuu, Kiji Mitsuba, Kenshirou Yozakura, Jyugo, Uno, Nico, Rock, Tsukumo, Liang, Upa, Qi, Honey, Trois, Musashi, Sachiko Shinozaki, Ryou Yoshizawa, Yuki Kanno, Tokiko Tsuji, Yoshikazu Yanagihori, Yoshie Shinozaki, Takamine Yanagihori, some OCs to take the role of Kizami later on instead of actual Kizami Includes major character death.
Chapter 14 of ?
Liang and Keiko had found their way back to the bathroom. The one taped shut with the charms that seared flesh. There had been no further sign of the ghost child, nor of the spirit that had saved Liang before. It truly seemed as if it were just the two of them in that building, though he was sure he could hear footsteps now and then. They'd found little to do, beyond circling the building a few times, trying to find something that might be of use. A way to open the main doors, a clue to where the others may have gone, just anything. At first, the only new thing Liang could note was that someone had scrawled over a flyer stuck to the wall. Before, the flyer had been uninteresting. A bake sale advertisement from before Heavenly Host closed its gates. When they passed the flyer for maybe the third time, it had blood on it. Not in splatters or drops either, no spray or lean. It hadn't just gotten there by mistake. No no, something was written there, scrawled in sloppy and shaky Chinese. Smeared in unsteady blood letters with several jittery mistakes, parts of the lettering reversed, trails where the writer's hand weakened and fell from the paper, and points where the letters went over the edge of the paper and onto the wall instead.

It was most likely from the spirit from before. A message to someone, to tell them to meet in the art classroom, just as the spirit had told him verbally, as well as something indeterminable.
Perhaps this message was written for the lost little girl to find.
Perhaps there was someone else here he was supposed to meet with.
Perhaps it was something the man wrote before he died, and the message was never even meant for Liang.
But that begged the question of how many people would actually be here expecting to communicate with their friends in Chinese. From what he could tell, the majority of people trapped here were from Japan, which made sense. The building itself had been Japanese, and the story, the legend of the school and of the deaths was one circulated in Japan. So it must have been meant at the very least for a Chinese speaker. The next question was what did the numbers mean? If the writer was from Nanba, it made sense for him to signal to specific people with numbers, but the numbers used didn't specify any of the inmates, except for maybe Qi and himself. More than anything, that was unnerving. The jumble of 1's and unfinished hanzi only complicated the message further. Something the spirit, possibly, tried to write with the last of his strength, making it an important message, but one that he could not fully tell.
Shortly after this, Keiko's sharp eye had spotted something in one of the cabinets in the art classroom that Liang had overlooked. Beneath a needle-like implement sat a white board, a thin rectangle with writing on it. A charm. If he remembered correctly, there had been similar charms around the temple where he'd grown up. It was Keiko's opinion that the charm might counteract the ones on the bathroom door, and Liang, knowing that if done correctly such things indeed had the potential for great power, had agreed to retrieve it from the cabinet. The door was locked, but unlike the front door, this one could be broken or forced. They just needed something to help them cause a little extra damage. Some of the works of art around the room would have been enough to do the trick - the room still held works from when the room was in use. Children's paintings on the easels, clay and papier-mâché models and chalk doodles stacked in the corner. Some of these items were perfectly innocent creations made by children of the past, including the odd picture or piece that looked very phallic but was undoubtedly just a clumsy drawing of a fruit bowl or animal. Other pieces matched the dark atmosphere of the school. A painting of a person hanging by their neck. A piece of paper with a red scribble and the caption 'man went splat'. A model of a child's hand with what was undeniably blood staining the fingers. Depictions of pain and fear, some in far too much detail to be the work of a child. In the end, Liang had picked up one of the clay models, judging by the scoring a cactus, and used it to break the glass of the cabinet. Taking care not to cut himself, he lifted the charm from its place. There was a genuine power within it, he could feel it.
Which was why they'd chosen to return to the bathroom, charm in hand. No discussion, but no certainty. Liang carefully laid the charm before the doors before stepping back, one arm held out to the side to keep Keiko away from any potential danger ahead of them. At first, it seemed as if nothing was happening, and then he felt the heat. It came off the charm in waves, banishing the icy cold of the abandoned school. It quickly got warm enough that the two of them began to sweat. When the first of the warding spells on the door caught fire, Liang pulled Keiko back a few more steps and held a hand up for some degree of protection. By the time all the spells were alight, the fire burned too bright to look at.
"The school's gonna burn down!" Keiko squeaked in terror. "We can't get out! We're gonna die, we're gonna-!" She cut off and went into wordless screaming as Liang pulled her back even further, stepping in front of her to block her from the flames. He felt the heat against his back threaten to burn any skin it could find. He dared a glance back, to see how the fire was spreading, and was surprised to see that the fire seemed to not so much as skim the wood of the door. It burned away the paper spells, turning them to ash, and then sputtered out, taking all the heat with it at once.
Slowly, he turned to the door and took Keiko's hand, leading her forward as she, realising the heat was gone, opened her eyes and tried to calm herself down. He didn't look at her, but he could tell she was in tears and very, very afraid. When he reached out to the door, he found the handle was cool, as if it hadn't been exposed to the fire at all. The door slid open now without hesitation, and Liang stepped into the boys' bathroom.
The bathroom was in a better state than those he had seen before, at least. There were about five stalls, as in the girls' bathroom in the main building, but all of them were locked. From the top of the stalls, he could see ropes coming up and leading to some point along the high ceiling. He wasn't sure the ceiling was meant to be that high. A few urinals stood at a low height, blocked and flooded, but not broken. Usable. Between the urinals and the stalls, a young man with purple hair was curled up in foetal position, entire body tense and very, very still. From where he stood, Liang wasn't entirely sure if the young man was still alive or not. He was either petrified in fear in the truest sense of the phrase, or he was freshly deceased and entering a state of rigor mortis.
"Motomu?"
Liang looked to Keiko as she shuffled into the room. Her eyes were fixed on the purple-haired boy on the floor, who looked up in response to his name, his movements stiff and almost unnatural.
"K-...Kei-chan..." The boy, Motomu, got to his feet, and Keiko ran to him, sobbing. The two embraced, and Liang watched them, a smile on his face. At the very least, he could be happy they'd been reunited. He decided to hang back, let them have their moment for now, and tried not to listen to their conversation. They were fairly loud, though, and it was rather awkward.
"I was so scared, big brother!"
"I know. I'm sorry. But it's okay, Kei-chan. I won't leave you again for as long as you live. I won't let the ghosts here hurt you."
"Yui...Yui was-"
"I know. Makishi too. I saw them both. I bet it was that ghost girl holding the scissors. But I saw someone hurt someone else from their own school..." The elder brother took something from his back pocket and held it out behind Keiko's back, shifting his grip to angle the object slightly. "But don't worry. Big brother will take care of everything."
In a moment, Keiko was thrown to the floor, and Motomu pinned, his arm held high over his back. Liang's knee was digging into the boy's spine, keeping him down, and he had a vice-like grip on Motomu's wrist. In the boy's hand was a knife. By the looks of it, it was new, and a professional hunting knife, but had been used and hastily wiped clean. A faint smear of red still stained the surface. From where Liang had been standing, he'd seen, from the corner of his eye, Motomu preparing to plunge the knife into his sister's neck. A quick twist of the wrist, and the boy released the knife, allowing the inmate to kick it across the room.
"B...big brother?" Keiko managed from her place on the floor, staring at the boys in shock, tears forming in her eyes already. Liang's focus, of course, was on her attacker.
"You were going to attack your own sister?!"
Motomu, to his credit, completely ignored him. "Keiko! What's wrong with you? You just went off with a stranger? I get you were scared, but you don't know this guy! He could have hurt you! Look at him, look at this place! Look at what happened to Yui. For all you know, he could have done that."
"Care to explain why you're armed, and why you're turning your weapons on us?"
"Have you seen the corpses, genius?"
Fair point, at least for the first question. "Where did you get the knife from? Why did you attack your sister?"
Motomu twisted in his grip, trying to look him in the eye. "Why did you go to prison?"
The atmosphere seemed to drop even further. The suffocating darkness wrapped around the three of them, and Liang could sense the murderous intent beneath him increase.
"Motomu. We need to work together to find a way out of this place. We can't turn on each other. Every second we're here, we're in extreme danger. We need to know you don't add to that danger. Why did you point the knife at Keiko?"
"You didn't answer my question."
"You've barely answered any of mine."
"We can't get out of here."
"You've given up?"
"Not exactly."
"But you've turned to hurting others."
"You're no saint."
"What is wrong with you?"
Motomu twisted a little, trying to look Liang in the eye. There was something about the look in his eye that seemed very wrong. Something in there was cold, and dark, and tinged with insanity. He dropped his voice low, likely so his sister would not hear his next words. "Let me tell you this much, all you need to know. The spirits here are killing people, and those people are desperate to survive. But they can't. The ghosts will kill them, or they'll suffer some accident, or starve or dehydrate or sicken, or someone else will kill them. Someone like me, or maybe someone like you, right, Mr Criminal? Because I can see it in your face, you're no stranger to the stench of blood and rot, are you? You're not as disturbed as all the poor, innocent kids who come in here and die in some horrible, tragic way. And this place? It can twist your mind, poison your thoughts and make you want to kill. Not me, though, so don't worry.
"I've just always hated those people. Fake smiles. Platitudes. Pretence. Doesn't it all just make you so angry? But there's so many rules out there, rules that fall apart once you're in here. You can do whatever you want. Go crazy. Let loose all those nasty little thoughts and feelings. You don't have to serve your time or repent for anything you did wrong in the past. No prison, no punishment, just the freedom to suffer and cause suffering until your last breath."
Liang inhaled sharply, a thought coming to him during Motomu's words. "Those people you mentioned, the ones who had been killed...Yui and Makishi...did you do something to them?"
"It doesn't matter if you're killed by the ghosts or killed by me. Either way, you die."
#Damn Kizami substitutes#I have so much more planned that this is gonna go to over 20 chapters and I hate it#after they all get together again? 🦀🐝 Cancer Sun Season, June 21st- July 22nd
Cancer, a cardinal water sign, marks the first water sign of the astrological season, alluding to the leadership quality that Cancers have. They initiate emotional processes, inspiring those around them to get in touch with their own emotional sides. This season, making your needs known and setting boundaries, if not already set, will help you nurture your inner self as well as foster healthy interpersonal skills. This allows you the space to protect yourself and cultivate your inner strength during emotional times. Cancer likes to create, nurture people and projects, and they’re impeccably receptive. They use their observation skills to take apart an issue, like crabs picking apart their food, and approach solutions to those issues sideways, an unconventional route that often yields success.
During Gemini season we learn the ability to improvise and the importance of concise communication; Applying those lessons to Cancer season, we can learn the importance of allowing yourself to be vulnerable, and become receptive to the changing tides, maneuvering yourself safely through the waters. Using Cancerian lessons, we can enter Leo season ready to persevere in the times to come and maintain a steady flow of creative energies.
🦀🐝
Ruled by the moon, Cancer is a rhythmic ebb and flow of energy, changeable yet static, ultimately still reflecting the creative force of the sun. Cancer dwells in the transitional state. Living on the shore, not fully on land and not fully in the sea, Cancer has a duality and synergy. The constellation itself is inconspicuous, and nestled within the heart of the dim crab lays the beehive cluster whose symbolism reflects this complexity in the dual nature of Cancer and its heart.
✨ Cancer in June 21st- July 1st is the first decan, ruled by the Moon and Venus, the Cancer triplicity. This marks a graceful arc through Venusian and Lunarian characteristics: Loyal, courageous, charming influence, untamable, dreamy. During this time, you may find yourself fascinated with the magic of moonlit nights, the stars of the constellations that rotate throughout this decan are elusive in the night sky just as Cancers themselves are often elusive and hard to pinpoint underneath their outer shell. This is an opinionated and devoted decan position, often coming across as fearless and barking-mad, like Canis Major that faithfully travels the night sky.
🌌 July 1st-12th, the second decan is ruled by the Scorpio triplicity, Mars and Mercury. During this time period you begin to see the other side of the dual nature of Cancers: The firmness and unchangeability is strong here. They’re as far from pushovers as you can be when they get set in their ways, opinions. Now that the energies of the first decan have established themselves, this decan, with the Mercurial trickster the fiery Mars, combines energies that may seem overwhelming at first: A curiosity that drives adventurousness and action. Yet their guiding light, Sirius, shows a true knowledge underneath that can be as relaxing or disconcerting as the presence of an old soul in a young person’s body.
💫The Piscean triplicity, ruled by the Moon and Jupiter from July 13th-22nd, can be considered the most dualistic decan in its nature. With the Twins constellation, Castor and Pollux, dominating the sky, you will have to learn how to balance the forces of good and evil, the left brain and the right, the sunny disposition of Castor and the shadowy disposition of Pollux. Castor tends towards optimism, imagination, responsibility, while Pollux is the daredevil who explores the hidden, the shadow side. During this time, you may find yourself with stronger creative energies, not only in the arts, but in the nurturing of others and yourself as well, or you may fall into Pollux’s influence and struggle with moodiness, disorganization and creative stagnation.
🌜🌝🌛
Cancer season itself is the season of growth and multiplication. It will bring emotional ups and downs, an openness that may be scary to those not used to being vulnerable, and for those who don’t have much water in their charts, emotion itself can possibly be intense and unwanted this season. To grow and experience wholeness, learn from Cancers by learning to acknowledge your feelings and control the way you express them, so as to be authentically you, yet harmonious and healthy in your relationships.
Today’s culture of shaming people who express emotions can be hard on Cancers and water signs in general, but they can also use this season as an opportunity to grow, taking care of stagnancy that some water signs often experience, the bogged down, sunken-to-the-seafloor feelings or issues that haven’t been acknowledged or addressed yet.
Women mostly face the brunt of harshness in this unemotional climate, sometimes intensifying the perception of moody, hysteric Cancers (especially Cancer women). This misogyny is also where the west’s cultural distaste with emotion stems from, so take some time to self-reflect upon whether or not you shame or devalue the emotions and expression of others. Know that expressing your emotions in a way that doesn’t hurt others is fine, stating your emotional (and physical, spiritual etc) needs is okay, and it’s important to healthy personal growth as well as interpersonal relationships.

so what you're saying is you only like ace representation when autistic ace women are being thrown under the bus because our representation doesn't matter and our attempts to create our own representation (because if we don't we don't get any) are bad and ableist so we should just sit down, shut up, and be content with never seeing ourselves in fiction. got it. sorry we keep forgetting our place and being so fucking inconvenient with our wishing to be allowed to exist in stories.
Okay. Okay, we’re both going to take a deep breath and maybe get a cup of tea here and have this conversation–or at least I am. You can if you like. I suggest that you might want to, because you clearly seem to care a whole bunch what I have to say on this topic, for some reason, even though I’m nobody on the internet with all of 200 notes on a post that doesn’t even say the thing you seem to think it says. You care enough to be very upset in my inbox, so it seems like you might care enough to want to have this discussion.
Cool. I’ve got shit I’m putting off doing this afternoon. Let’s have this talk.
For starters: yup, I can see that you’re really angry. I get that. If somebody were telling me to sit down and shut up about representing myself in fiction, I’d be real angry, too. And yes, I can see how the thing you initially saw (which I’m assuming was this post, without any of the later additions to it) might sound that way to you, and I apologize.
Still not sure why the opinions of one random person on the internet are worth your time and your words and your rage on this level, though you do you–not that ‘somebody thinks I shouldn’t exist or see myself in fiction’ isn’t worth raging about, but this seems like a pretty small corner to have this anger-fit in. Like, you clearly know that many people DO believe the things you think I believe, all the time, every day. This wouldn’t have hit such a button if that weren’t the case. I would get really exhausted fighting this fight all the time, if I were you. Which I’m not.
Which begs the question: if I’m saying “let horrible shit go on the internet, life is too short to fight every battle,” then why am I taking the time to start this question with one very angry anon who might not even bother coming to my blog to see my response in the first place?
Well. For one, because I obviously hurt you, and that sucks. Whatever I meant to communicate, you read a thing that clearly hurt. As a decent human, it behooves me to acknowledge that if I can, and to try to address it if I can.
Also because I clearly hurt you by phrasing and explaining myself poorly, and that sucks in a whole different way. And maybe if we have this conversation here, other people WON’T have the same misunderstanding. That’d be pretty great.
(And also because life is so short, and the internet is so angry, and I am so tired all the time. Everyone is always so angry here, so cruel and so hurt and so furious. Maybe I can be a little bit kind. Maybe it will matter. Maybe somebody else on the internet will take a deep breath at their reflexive rage. It could happen.)
Alright, now, to the meat of your complaint: you believe I have said, “ace autistic women should not be represented in fiction, it’s ableist and bad.” You believe that this is a pretty shitty thing to think because ace autistic women actually exist in the actual world, and they/you would like some actual representation, or at least to be allowed to represent themselves.
That is a pretty shitty thing to think. It’s good that I don’t think it. It sucks that it sounded like I do. You might want to re-read the version of the original post that I linked above, with several additional comments on it. You might want to read this post, where I clarified my point of view. You might want to read it again.
Here’s what I actually think: in our culture of stories, especially in fandom and also in published media, romantic storylines are held up at the center of fiction all the time. Romance and romantic interest are used to create tension, to create character depth, to add complexity and interest and signal to readers ‘hey, over here, these characters are important, the story is here!’
And that’s fucked up. You already know that, if you’re on the internet looking for stories about ace representation. But it’s a fact.
Here’s the other thing I think: many authors, mostly in fandom and also sometimes in published media, use the idea of asexuality–not its reality, not its complexities, not the intricate intersections of asexuality and aromanticism, not anything true and real–use the idea of ‘oh, this character just isn’t interested in anyone ever’ as a way to sideline specific characters out of that romantic narrative.
The people fandom wants most of all to sideline out of its stories? Women.
(Yes, even in het fandoms. Maybe especially in het fandoms. The rage and hate against an ‘other woman’ is terrifying to behold.)
The people fandom wants even more than that to keep out of the spotlight and also particularly out of romantic storylines altogether? ND/autistic women.
Using asexuality as a way to keep autistic women (as a way to keep women, as a way to keep autistic people, as a way to keep anyone) out of a narrative is fucking bullshit. This I believe. This I absolutely believe. And it is shitty, shitty representation that is not worthy of the name. It is lazy and exploitative writing that uses ‘representation’ as an excuse not to actually explore or represent anyone at all.
I wrote that original post because of the overwhelming majority of the Persona 5 fandom, which downright screams about how Futaba Sakura (one of the most legit autistic characters I’ve ever seen in fiction that wasn’t specifically about ‘hey look at this autistic character’) can’t be shipped with anyone let alone the protag, she is the little sister and she doesn’t like to be touched anyway she probably just doesn’t want anyone. I wrote it because I just spent like a month devouring Voltron fic and you can’t find good poly-fic that isn’t ‘just the boys fucking each other’ for love or money–Pidge likes robots more than people and that means she’d never be attracted to or fall for anyone, at least if you need an excuse to keep her out of the group sex. I wrote it because Parker/Hardison/Eliot is the OT3 of all OT3′s. I wrote it because I was in Glee fandom for years and I fucking remember what fandom said about Brittany S. Pierce.
I would love to see more ace representation in fiction. I would love to see so much more fiction that centers ace characters, that explores the fact that asexuality is an identity rather than a lack of identity. That lets ace characters fill lead roles and doesn’t even make their sexuality an issue. Ace characters in romances. Ace characters with their own plotlines and intense character development who never want or need romances. And yes: that includes autistic or otherwise neurodivergent female asexual characters. Any one of the characters I just listed above, give me a story about them navigating their own sexuality or navigating their world, their most important non-sexual non-romantic relationships, their selves, and let them be as not-neurotypical as all hell. I will read it in a fucking instant.
You want to see you in fiction. I want to see you in fiction. What we’re getting ain’t it.
Take some deep breaths. Talk to a friend who knows you. Hug a dog/cat/person, if they’re available and hugging’s your thing. Maybe don’t scream at strangers on the internet. We’re on the same side.
#ace discourse is exhausting#all discourse is exhausting tbh#I'll have conversations about this if people want to actually discuss#but I think I'm real done defending or explaining things I've already explained#sigh#Anonymous

❛ Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing which to do is the worst kind of suffering. ❜
Spotted at Grand Central, bags in hand, {KAREN GILLAN}. No, that’s a mistake. It’s {AMELIA POND}, they are a {CANON CHARACTER} and come from {DOCTOR WHO}. They are {TWENTY-NINE} and I’ve heard they are {CREATIVE}, as well {OBSTINATE}. They happen to hold {THEIR} memories. Don’t believe me? See for yourself. Lucky for us, {jinx, 23, pst, she/her & they/them} sent us proof.
Welcome to New York, what is your character’s name?
Amelia Jessica Pond-Williams. Though, she took on the last name Williams when she was transported back to 1920s New York because she couldn’t really legally hyphenate + it was a testament to how much she loves Rory & how she was willing to leave behind her old life with the Doctor behind. But she prefers to just be called Amy!
Where have they been pulled from in their fandom?
Right when Amy & Rory make their exit in Doctor Who, in the Angels Take Manhattan. I imagine that she wakes up in her new life in this RP from that point.
With the curse, how has your character’s life changed?
Well, I don’t want to godmod the potential Rory player but if Rory isn’t in her life then that’s a major change ( though, I’d love if they were best friends who grew up together or something in the new life ). Like in canon, Amy had the belief the Doctor was real but instead of him coming back, he was just a story. She still grew up the same way in canon, the weird girl who turned ginger bombshell who was a kissogram but in this verse ( to mirror canon ) she gets picked up by a modeling agency and moves to New York. As far as Amy knows she’s lived in New York for 10 years, now a successful science fiction author and currently working on a children’s book both illustrating & writing it. Her life has changed because she turned her childhood shit into stories that have sold pretty well. She didn’t get married to Rory at a young age, she’s had quite a few years to develop who she is and live her life outside of Leadworth.
With Amy’s memories coming back, to put it simply, it hurts. All over again. Remembering it all, losing it all, it hurts. Though not a drinker AT ALL, Amy has found herself doing anything she can to forget remembering, working on a much darker novel than her previous ones. It’s been disorienting because even though her life is beautiful & brilliant as it is -- it’s not real. The feeling of things not being real, the blurring of lines between reality & falsity has really done a number on her as she does deal with mental illness, worrying that she’s finally, properly, losing her mind. Frankly, she doesn’t know if it’s real, she doesn’t know what’s real, though she tries to be Amy Pond, this blurring of reality is something that scares her. Another feeling she feels is anger, anger about what happened to her in canon, anger about having to doubt her own mind all over again and a determination to fix this and/or find the person responsible.
Do they have a job, and if so what is it?
To dive in more about her job, Amy isn’t the most famous person around but she definitely has mild celebrity due to her early modeling ( a model turned scifi author intrigues a lot of weird fanboys that’s for sure ), her books are what has really launched any celebrity she has into something more recognizable. Sometimes asked to help host D list red carpet shows, etc. Amy is not Known Known but you find her face recognizable. She’s done a lot of activism as well for mental illness and the LGBTQIA+ & Queer communities as she’s openly bisexual so there’s definitely a funky little cult following she has and she’s fairly popular in Scotland as well as a hometown hero in her town of Leadworth ( something she finds HILARIOUS as they hated her for years ).
Is there any other information about your character that members might find helpful?
THIS SECTION WILL BE FOR MY RAMBLING. Because where else am I GONNA DO IT??? I’ve been playing Amy for 5+ years now and I’m going to give y’all some insight on how i play her as well as how i see her. I’m watching an episode right now that’s helped come up with some of this as well. I’ll probably add more HCs as I slowly rewatch her scenes, etc.
A Sagittarius!!!!!!!!!! which literally fits her so well if you love astrology and Amy Pond, you already know!
One of my favorite aspects of Amy’s character is her empathy & intuitiveness. While sometimes lacking social grace and not always the best with interpersonal relations, she can see people for who they are deep down, their intentions, the emotions she feels like she feels from others often overwhelming but something that does lead her. A gut instinct magnified. She’s intuitive and empathetic because she’s got such an active imagination paired with a creative mind, she’s able to put those two things together, not only painting a picture of who someone is, painting colors on them they might not see themselves. Maybe this is a bit naive at times, maybe even a bit dangerous if it steers her wrong ( which is why Rory Williams is so important to her, her impulsiveness paired with this can get her into tough situations and he always has her back, always by her side ). Amelia is not always one to think before jumping into situations if she feels it’s the right thing to do, a prime example of this is her running off with The Doctor EASILY. Both as a kid and an adult. Luckily, not many have taken advantage of this as she can be extremely closed off emotionally. She’s a good judge of character and if she puts her faith in you, know while it could be surprising, it was a very much calculated, thought out, and a felt through choice. Amy’s extremely stubborn so good luck getting her to do something she doesn’t want to do ESPECIALLY if she doesn’t feel it’s right. Amy is usually able to connect to anyone and everyone some sort of way when she tries due to all of this, usually better with connecting to people than the ( Eleventh ) Doctor himself is.
[ EMOTIONAL NEGLECT MENTION, ALCOHOLISM MENTION ] Verbal, straightforward, blunt, but it when it comes to her emotions, the ones that hurt, the ones that can’t be wrapped in something beautiful or lightly joked about are the ones tucked away. Amy’s got serious commitment issues as well, as shown throughout Doctor Who, that stemmed from the Doctor leaving her multiple times as well as never knowing her parents. I play her Aunt as a high functioning alcoholic, growing up she was never really home much less attentive to Amy ( also due to the whole crack in Amy’s wall thing, but, that’s a whole other topic ). For insight on how this effects her, I once played her in a multifandom at hogwarts rp where she was in a relationship with a character and they were really fucking cute ( I still rp them to this day w/ my friend ). But she was SO cared of this relationship not working out / losing Rory because he had just confessed that he romantically liked her, that she broke up with the other person ( who she had deep feelings for who never EVER would’ve left her ) because Rory meant too much to her, he’d been there through everything, the thought of losing him? Unthinkable. this isn’t to say she didn’t love them both ( polyamorous Amelia Pond ftw! ), or value Rory as much ( I felt pressured to go into canon as well so I had to find a believable fault/fear/issue to really sell this but I think there’s something to be said for this ), I don’t play it that way in THIS rp, of course. [ END OF EMOTIONAL NEGLECT MENTION, ALCOHOLISM MENTION ]
It goes to show that she will make fear based decisions as well as decisions based on her insecurities that she’s not enough, that she’s more pain than she’s worth, out of not being able to give someone she cares about what they need. For example, when in canon Amy breaks up with Rory because she feels so guilty she can’t have biological kids when she knows he ALWAYS wanted kids. She was scared if she stayed with him, he’d hate her, that she was keeping him from having a fulfilling life, that she wasn’t enough and didn’t fit into what he wanted. Rory deserves everything to her, she couldn’t give it to him, when he gave and gave and gave to her. She didn’t feel worthy, but she didn’t express that fear either, making Rory feel completely shut out because she was shutting him out. She’ll self sabotage easily, because commitment is scary to her and she’d rather be the one leaving than being left. Amy can’t stand to wait for the worst to happen, for the other shoe to drop, she isn’t the fucking girl who waited -- not anymore.
Amy is diagnosed with major depressive disorder previously diagnosed with psychotic features added on as well until the Doctor came back but after having 4 psychiatrists in her youth, Amy definitely fits into having MDD. There are many evidences in canon besides her literally going to psychiatrists that suggest that Amy is mentally ill / ND, another hint in the episode ‘Vincent and The Doctor’. Amy empathizes with Vincent Van Gogh ( my Amy is an extreme art history lover as well, especially Vincent Van Gogh ), she says she’s been where he is, that she gets it. [ SUICIDE MENTION ] She is physically effected when he talks about dark shit and in another episode with the Dreamlord, she talks about how she doesn’t want to live in a world if Rory’s not in it, then killing herself in the show. The way she does it in my head ( and in the show ) is extremely steely, easily done, because Amy has dealt with mental illness, because she’s been in dark places & suicidal ideation. [ END OF SUICIDE MENTION ] In this RP, she’ll also have been diagnosed and is taking medication because we stan healthy characters who cope with their mental illness! Even though she’s definitely having a hard time currently.
Rory Williams really is everything to her. Her best friend, a love of her life, her partner, the only person who stuck by her side through everything. She never waivers in this love for him, even though she does have doubts due to her own commitment issues ( and regular issues ) but she doesn’t have doubts about who Rory is. She loves him. The Doctor is also someone she loves passionately, though she could’ve loved him romantically and often could see that sort of a future with him -- he’s completely unavailable and unreliable. If there’s one thing that Amy can’t do in a partner romantically it’s unreliable. Plus, after finding out her daughter was married to him in canon? She’ll pass. The Doctor is more like a twin flame sort of thing for her, a very kindred spirit. She loves him because in her little town of Leadworth, full of boring, sensible things, where she was the weird girl in town -- he was just as weird as her.
If I had to pick a Hogwarts house for Amy, it’d be Gryffindor.

Dominance: Virgo + Earth + Mercury Personal Planets + Asteroids: Sun: Leo The Sun sign represents our ego, where our identity is forged, and where the truth of our nature resides. I’m not going to go over the sun sign too much as it is generally the most discussed, and people often seem to have a strong awareness of it. You probably can come off a bit prideful and hate showing weakness in any most forms, likely you are also not a pushy person. You might have some business savvy paired with some incredible common sense. This sun sign has one of the best senses for humor in the whole zodiac. You are most likely very generous and tend to indulge your friends, you most likely have a good public image. This sign is an indicator for someone who has a heart of gold, if the Sun isn’t afflicted too severely. Moon: Virgo The Moon represents our emotions, the emotional core of the personality, and how you process feelings and moods. Lunar Virgos tend to find security in the little things in like such as the details of everyday life being straightened out, many enjoy running errands, reading, doing house chores etc. These people tend to be at their best when they feel appreciated and USEFUL, whenever somebody needs help they tend to be one of the first to jump right on and take up the task. Sadly though, Virgo Moons can lack self-confidence, many are content with living “regular, unassuming lives”. There is a strong appreciation here for simplicity. Chaos can easily disrupt a Virgo Moon’s emotions. An unhappy Virgo Moon can be fussy and complaining, this tends to be a major placement for anxiety, since Virgo moons tend be extremely analytical and pay close attention to the details. A Virgo moon is over all reliable and trustworthy, due to their practical nature. Mercury: Virgo Mercury represents our intelligence, it also governs our ability to communicate, explain, and understand. A Mercury Virgo has a very detailed mind for processing information, as it should since Virgo is at home in Mercury. Virgo Mercurians tend excel in research and have an amazing set of organizational skills! While they don’t think as fast as Gemini Mercury – the diurnal ruler of Mercury- they tend to absorb information, process it and expel much more grounded date and information more so than the Gemini Mercury. With Mercury in Virgo you may have a tendency to be critical towards others and be rather suspicious, especially when meeting new people. With having both your Moon and Mercury in Virgo, you may have a strong tendency to criticize yourself and hold yourself to extremely high-standards. Cynicism and Sarcasm are common for this placement, often using it in humor. You probably also have a great ability to pinpoint a person’s Achille’s heel. Venus: Cancer Venus represents how we give and receive love (both romantically and platonically), where we find comfort and support within ourselves and others. It essentially rules all the blessing things in life, including balance and harmony. Oh, what a beautiful place for Cancer! These people are sensitive in love, even with the help of an outgoing playful sun like Leo. You show your love for other by simply caring for them, you pay a lot of attention to a person’s feelings, words, and you observe them carefully – this is all heightened by those strong Virgo placements! – You probably tend to want a safe, solid relationship, even though you tend to be a little moody in love because you certainly don’t have any qualms with emotional confrontations. With having your Chiron in Cancer as well, you probably have a fear of being left, cancer in Venus has a strong fear of being left high and dry, may compensate for this with a tendency to be slightly possessive. Mars: Aries Mars represents our will, courage, passion, how we assert ourselves, sexuality, and anger. It’s honestly the planet of “what gets us going”. You probably have a bit of an impulsive streak – not an uncalculated impulsiveness though--, you can get angry easily, but it won’t last long. You most certainly aren’t the type to hold grudges or resentment. You might find challenges to be your cup of tea, often adding excitement to a relationship. You don’t enjoy when people beat around the bush and lack directness. This is very strong independent placement, which probably has a strong chance of fighting your Venus, find the balance between safe and secure and reckless and passionate will often be tricky. An Aries Mars has an exceptionally strong libido, enjoying the chase making long term relationships a bit of a challenge. Jupiter: Gemini Jupiter represents abundance and generosity, it fuels all sorts of positivity in our lives, the planet of miracles, hope, opportunity. This is more important to house placement in astrology, but you much more likely to be lucky when you use natural curiosity and wit, making you are rather sociable person, and friendliness often putting others at ease. Saturn: Sagittarius Saturn represents our discipline and commitment, it’s the “dad” of the planets who is a task master that sends us major challenges, but of-course for our own good. You already hit your Saturn Return (when Saturn returns to make sure you learned the lessons, typically when you are 30, it is the year where all the choices you make will affect the rest of your life etc.) Saturn is challenging you broaden your horizons in philosophy, education, and religion. You are highly principled and believe in earning achievements through hard work. Education is also very important to you, you might have a lot of self-taught tendencies. Be very careful of tunnel vision? Like I said before, you hit your Saturn return, a lot of this might not be relevant anymore. Chiron: Cancer Chiron is known as the wounded healer, it is the wound in our life we cannot heal but where we can heal and help others. The wound here is to your emotions and ability to feel loved, which may manifest in ways such as feeling unloved and abandoned, a fear that you don’t deserve love, a tendency to sabotage relationships, rescuing lost souls, and you might be prone to psychosomatic illnesses. The gift here is that you can very much so make people feel loved, given love to the unloved. You are extremely sensitive to the suffering of others!! Pallas: Aquarius Pallas is where we are gifted talents. It isn’t considered a super important placement, but I figured I would include it since it talks about extreme metaphysical gifts, as well as a general placement for many gamers. It is a very mystical placement, typically seen with many talented diviners, witches, druids, and shamans. Lilith: Virgo Lilith is interesting, it’s a theoretical point between the moon and the sun and often represented as a “dark moon”, this is where you find your “darker” side, but also where you find freedom, your sexuality, and independence. It’s very similar to the “Id” in psychology. She can also be a reference point for how we act when are threatened or even back into a corner. In Virgo, she presents herself as an interesting lady, she doesn’t encapsulate the sexuality that many of the earth signs take when in Lilith, instead we see a very sapiosexual approach to this placement. This is someone who has great intelligence, resourcefulness, an ability to take on great responsibility. There’s also this weird note of modesty, in a way that people could see you as this innocent person, not capable of doing some of the horrendous things a Lilith like Gemini or Aries would do. The darkness of this sign comes out in cynicism, a need for control, she can be rather judgmental and spiteful, however you will see this be more taken out on themselves. These dark traits where will come out when getting criticism from others and not receiving recognition for the work they do. Juno: Cancer Juno is our asteroid of marriage, the person we will marry, who we will be in marriage. Some people call this the soulmate asteroid; however, it is a movable point discussing partnerships, what you expect, and how things will generally go. It’s a bit of an abstract placement. Juno in Cancer is pretty simple, it explains that in relationships you like a partner who encompasses those Cancer qualities, emotional, homely, caring, maternal in a way. It also means you put on a heavy wait to the importance to emotions in a relationship! You won’t be happy if your emotional needs are not met. Houses: Ascendant: Aquarius The Ascendant, rising or 1st house represents the persona, appearances, beginnings, the body, first impressions, attitude, identity, and general approach to life. Often, we don’t recognize our own Ascendant, it is much more apparent to others. You appear quirky and eccentric to others! You stand out, if not for your unique appearance, it is for your warm personality. You are friendly and kind, but there might this weird impartialness to it! Which is a little off putting to someone. While you might be well liked by many, this isn’t a rising that has many deep friendships. 2. Aries The second house represents values, self-worth, sensuality, habits, comfort, and stability. A lot of astrologers attempt to make it only the money house, but since it is genuinely ruled by Taurus, it encompasses all the things that make up Taurus, but we got Aries here so hold on! Mars Aries in the 2nd So this give you a strong determination to succeed! This puts will-power in the house of self-worth essentially. Aries isn’t especially materialistic, but its more about the drive. Aries’ motto is “I am”, you might find yourself defining yourself worth by what you can do. Definition by action. Strength, determination and passion are linked to material and personal values. People with this placement may usually find that their sense of aggressiveness and assertiveness comes alive when others mess with their possessions of some kind. Mars in this house gives blessings on the individual’s strength to go and fulfill their desires in the material realm and also to fight for their own basic survival. 3. Taurus The Third House represents our mind, thinking, communications, social activity and interests. Jupiter in Gemini in the 3rd Jupiter represents expansiveness and where in life we have great luck. The third house is about intelligence, but not at the collegiate level, it’s your base stat score. With Jupiter here in your third house, you rolled pretty high in this. Regardless of what happens in your life, you will always be gifted with good intelligence and good gift of gab. 4. Gemini The fourth house represents our home, our roots, family, self-care, emotions, foundations, and parenting. It’s how you were raised and it effects our midheaven/10th house – who you wanna become, you on the public stage -- There is no planets here, so it’s an area that not of a higher focus in your life, however this is this extremely interesting point to made. This is one of the most important houses in astrology, because it represents our inner most self, planet wise the moon is most comfortable here because of this. With Gemini here, it is easy to assume you were really left to your own devices a lot as a child, you choose what you wanted to do, and it’s that ability that developed into your 10th house Sagittarius. 5.Gemini The fifth house represents romance, love, affairs, play, creativity, our childlike spirit, joy, self-expression, drama, and joy. It represents all things Leo! Some astrologers believe this also helps dictate children. Venus in Cancer in the 5th Chiron in Cancer in the 5th Juno in Cancer in the 5th There is so much energy going on here!!! Venus grants you the ability to find beauty and fun, it almost makes you a playful lover and friend. You express your affection in a playful, dramatic, attention giving manner. All the planets and asteroids are in Cancer, which means you’re a tail-end Gemini. With Chiron here, there’s a good chance you had a traumatic childhood. There’s some unresolved trauma here, that most likely you are fully aware off. 6.Cancer The sixth house rules health, day to day routines, work habits, our sense of usefulness and service given. It also rules our pets funnily enough! Leo Sun in the 6th
The sun is our identity, so it’s not a very good place for it to be in the sixth house, which is all about how we serve people, none the less it’s a pretty good placement. Expect to have health concerns, no matter what goes on. You might also define yourself for what you can do for other people, define yourself based on your work ethic. This makes you an exceptionally good co-worker. It might also might make it difficult for you to take the lead of the park, however with all your Virgo placements, you will have some pretty strong opinions about what is going on. People might look to you to fill leadership positions. Descendant: Leo The 7th house represents deeper relationships, marriage, contracts, business partners, and our interpersonal style, while the 5th is also romance, this leads more to serious relationships, while the 5th almost has a casual dating, casual sex, and honey moon phase vibe to it. Virgo Moon in the 7th Virgo Mercury in the 7th Lilith in Virgo in the 7th
Once again, a lot of energy! Typically, the 7th house isn’t a house we want full of energy, because why the first house offers and is seen as our personality, or our projection, the seventh almost functions as a reflection. What other people bring out of us, sometimes these traits in others can become annoying to us. This is actually where the principle of opposite attract comes into play, you will tend to attract people with the moon of your descendant or a lot of qualities of your descendant, which would be Leo in this case. The moon tells us that your emotions and mental stability is almost rooted in this area of life. You are probably not one to be single for a long time, mercury tells us you take a deep consideration of your relationships, though however, Lilith is fairly interesting here! She does something rather wonky in the 7th, you might find that a lot people in relationships might be attracted to you. It also tells us you have a bit of a thing for women who exhibit Lilith like traits.
8. Libra The eigth house represents sexuality, intimacy, trauma, death and rebirth. Pluto in Scorpio in the 8th
This natal placement gives a high sex-drive to a point where sex can mirror the death and rebirth experience. The biggest thing to take away from this placement is that unlike Saturn, the plutonian death and rebirth cycle is not to be exceptionally painful and traumatic, this points to having struggled with depression and even having some sort of hardcore trauma in your past. With Libra being the house ruler, it might be of a romantic and sexual nature. This can lead to various power-struggles in your life. 9. Scorpio The ninth house represents travel, wisdom, philosophy, higher education, cross-cultural relations, politics, and religion. This leads to an intense need to learn and grow. Very strong Hierophant like vibe to it. Midheaven: Sagittarius The Midheaven or tenth house represents our career, status, reputation, the ego-conscious, and who we are on the public stage. Saturn and Uranus in Sagittarius in the 10th
This is who we want to be on the public stage, the person we said when we were kids we would be! For you it’s the perfectionist, the person who simply wants to be great at what they do. So Saturn and Uranus in this house push you to do just that! Saturn restricts anything it touches, so you might be a little late coming in to your own image of success, however once you hit your Saturn return it would appear that’s when that goal becomes more realized. The energies of Uranus help but add a weird sense 11: Capricorn The eleventh house is the house of friends, groups, technology, hopes and wishes for the future, humanitarianism, and social awareness. Neptune in Capricorn in the 11th
This is going to add some strangeness to your social circle and how you appear to others. You’re going to have a lot of mysterious and artistic friends. Neptune has a strong ability of blurring the borders and boundaries between the native and his friends. 12: Capricorn The twelfth house is the house of endings, spirituality, karma, old age, what is limiting us, our subconscious, and all that is hidden. Pallas in Aquarius in the 12th
Pallas is turns the house it is in, into your house of natal talent! 😊 It lightens the suppressed energy of the 12

Note
after reading that post on the NDs i was just wondering what some of your future!headcanons are, friendship wise? because in canon, brittana don't really have a consistent friend besides mercedes, right? like, quinn, rachel and kurt were all on an off with at least santana, if not both of them, and i guess artie and britt were kinda consistent post s2 but not really yknow? in season 6 tina seemed like she could be an option but as you mentioned in your post, they have kind of a weird history.
Hey, @deleteee!
So here’s the thing: I don’t see Brittana having a lot of close contact with most members of the New Directions in the future.
It’s not that they purposefully cut them out of their lives or outright hate them or anything.
Well, okay, to be fair, Brittany does hate Rachel.
It’s just that they kind of naturally grow apart from them over time.
While they will certainly attend what New Directions reunions they can and get together with the glee kids on occasion as logistics allow, things aren’t going to be the way they were during S4, S5, and S6 when they were jetting back and forth from NYC to Lima every other week and dropping in to stage musical interventions on various teammates whenever one of them had a personal crisis.
There’s going to be some distance and some growing apart. The relationships they have that are already awkward will become more awkward still, and even their closer relationships will (by necessity) evolve and change shape.
I have two main reasons why I headcanon things this way:
Because, as you mention, Brittana’s relationships with most of the members of the New Directions are already complicated at best, and I suspect that the status quo isn’t much likely to change given that the majority of the glee kids still after so many years fail to understand Brittana at even the most basic level.
Because, while of course experiences vary and I can’t speak for everyone who, like me, has passed the ten-year class reunion mark, I can say that I’ve personally found that adults who keep in close contact with any high school friends other than their bestest besties tend to be an exception rather than a rule.
Particularly in small towns, as my hometown is and Glee’s Lima purports to be, there may be some groups who continue to socialize long after graduation, but more often than not such groups are comprised of the folks who never leave town, and they’re far and away a minority.
Much more common are the folks who eventually move away, maintaining sporadic contact with a few old friends but otherwise leaving high school in the past, forming new social circles as they attend school, travel, join the military, take work, start families, and/or gain more life experiences.
The closer the high school friendship was, the more likely it is to continue after graduation, while the more casual or complicated the high school friendship was, the more likely it is to peter out once the involved parties are no longer in daily contact and sharing regular mutual bonding experiences. The general rule is that the further out one gets from high school, the less one is willing and able to maintain old high school friendships.
So given that Brittana were never really all that close to the majority of the New Directions to begin with, I tend to think that as the years wear on, they’ll cease to have regular contact with most of them. High school is going to be in their rearview mirror, and while they’ll certainly have some fond memories of those days, they’re also going to be caught up in their new adult life together and glad to be continuing on to bigger and better things.
I kinda fic’d the idea here, if you’re interested.
As for individual headcanons, I put them after the cut.
__________
Tina Cohen-Chang, Artie Abrams, and Mike Chang
I list these three New Directions alums first because, frankly, I think Brittana will have the least contact with them out of anybody.
Brittana are never especially close with Mike or Tina—and, in fact, Brittany even has beef with Tina in later seasons—and Santana is never close with Artie, even after she no longer has reason to view him as her rival for Brittany. Brittany and Artie are friendly with each other following their breakup, but they still aren’t especially close overall and they don’t tend to hang out one-on-one.
Those dynamics being what they are, I tend to believe that outside of glee reunions, there’s not going to be a lot of communication between Brittana and Tina, Artie, and Mike going into the future.
I’m sure that Brittana probably go to see Artina’s movies, and if Mike’s ballet troupe ever comes to town, they get tickets to see him perform. If they run into one another by chance, they stop to talk for a few minutes. If Brittana have kids, Tina will “like” every single baby photo that they post online and gush about how cute they are with multiple exclamation points.
But that’s probably about the extent of their interactions.
The farther out they get from their WMHS days, the less they’ll have to talk about.
Hummelsonberry
Brittana’s relationship with this trio will depend a lot on proximity.
Following the events of S5 when Santana realizes that she doesn’t have to keep killing herself to win Hummelberry’s approval—and particularly as, no matter what she does, she is never going to get it—Brittana start to take a very casual approach to their interactions with Hummelberry (and by extension Blaine).
Their basic m.o. seems to be to act cordial but not bend over backwards scrambling for affection. If they have the time and wherewithal, they’ll help Hummelsonberry out where they can, but they’re not going to upend their whole lives to deal with each and every new Hummelsonberry crisis like they (and particularly Santana) used to.
They’re okay with having a superficial friendship.
It’s this attitude and pattern for behavior that will shape all future Brittana + Hummelsonberry interactions.
The truth is that Hummelsonberry are fairly self-involved, so it is easier for them to maintain friendships with people whom they see on the regular and whose social orbits intersect with their own than it is for them to maintain friendships long distance or with people who move in circles outside theirs.
If they can run into Brittana on the subway or meet up with them at a mutually convenient bistro for a quick, twenty-minute lunch, then they’ll do so. But if keeping contact with Brittana requires real effort, then they’re not going to expend it. Friends have to come to them, not the other way around. If Brittana are willing and available to attend Rachel’s productions and Klaine’s charity galas, then they’ll be very welcome to do so. But there’s not going to be a lot of reciprocity there.
—which is why I say that these relationships are only really going to be viable if Brittana remain in NYC.
Simply framed, on both sides, this is a friendship of convenience.
In the past, Santana used to go out of her way to maintain her bonds with Kurt and Rachel, and Brittany came into contact with Hummelberry through Santana’s efforts. But now that Santana’s not making such concerted efforts and no one else is picking up the slack, there will by necessity be a drop-off in interaction. If Santana doesn’t come running every time Hummelberry call, then in the long term, they’re all going to see one another less overall.
Once Rachel’s Broadway career takes off and especially after she marries Jesse St. James and her social circle starts merging more and more with his, she’ll have less time for “the little people” that she used to know from Lima. She’ll make time for Klaine, of course, because Kurt’s her bestie and she carried their baby for them, but I doubt she’ll see as much of the other members of the New Directions as she once did, and particularly not outside of special, prearranged meetups and gatherings.
Klaine will likewise be off doing their own thing.
By 2020, they already have a kid, and as anyone in their twenties and thirties can tell you, friendships between people without kids and people with them take some serious work to maintain. Both parties have to be deeply invested in the endeavor in order to achieve success.
Since Brittana’s relationship with Klaine over the years has been tumultous at best, I somehow doubt that either party is going to log the effort to regularly socialize if Klaine have a kid and Brittana don’t.
If Brittana do have children during their twenties, then maybe they’ll be able to arrange playdates between their kid and Klaine’s and bond with Klaine over their similar experiences in young parenthood.
But even if that scenario is the case, on a whole, I still don’t see Brittana and Klaine being particularly close.
Even beyond their responsibilities as new fathers, Klaine are also going to be busy with whatever careers they have. Like Rachel, their social circles will be based more in their current activities and work than in an old club from high school. Unless Brittana are in a similar line of work as they are, more relational slippage will occur. It will be easier for Klaine to socialize with others in their fields rather than with Brittana.
We know very little from canon about what Brittana will be up to in 2020, but I think it’s fairly telling that they’re not present for the NYC Tony Awards viewing party depicted in episode 6x13.
Either they’re in NYC but choose for whatever reason not to attend OR they’re not in NYC and so can’t attend. The dearth of canon information makes it difficult to know what exactly is going on.
Last we hear in episode 6x03, Brittana intend to live in NYC together and perhaps start attending school again. But we don’t really know where they go or what they do after their wedding—and especially not what becomes of them five years down the road.
If Brittana do remain in NYC in the long term, then they’ll probably see this Hummelsonberry a few times a year, usually in a group setting.
Still, despite having some interaction, the friendships here will never be intimate ones. Everything will be about shared activities and a common past, not emotional disclosure or deep personal trust. Just due to Hummelsonberry’s personalities, the focus of conversation and social energy will always be about seventy percent on them and their lives and only thirty percent on Brittana.
Of course, if Brittana move away from NYC—which eventually they may do, depending on where their career paths and family life takes them—then I think their level of interaction with Hummelsonberry will greatly decrease and will probably only take place at reunions, on special occasions, and through Facebook.
They’ll exchange “likes” on good news posts and Christmas and Hanukkah cards each December, but they’re not going to be all up in one another’s business anymore, and there definitely won’t be any long, heartfelt phone calls or flights across the country for the sole purpose of seeing one another.
In any case, in the long run, I think Brittana will find that they like Hummelsonberry better from a distance and that having a catchup session once every year or two is preferable to being caught up in the vortex of their constant drama. Brittany will be able to handle Rachel better if she only has to interact with her on special occasions, and having some physical removal from Hummelberry will help Santana maintain perspective on them and preserve healthy social boundaries.
Quinn Fabray
I think that the future of the Unholy Trinity is pretty much up to Quinn.
Like I discuss in this post, Brittana have never really “needed” Quinn, per se. They’ve always been each other’s best friends, and she has been a third wheel. Over the years, there have been many times when Brittana have either purposefully separated themselves from Quinn or she from them, and whenever those instances of separation have occurred, Brittana have generally been fine, though Quinn has suffered for the isolation.
Still, even though Brittana may not “need” Quinn, they do—despite their convoluted history with her—seem to want her, as we see when they seek her out throughout S2 and S3 especially.
Brittany’s S2 Heart Locker speech pretty much perfectly encapsulates how Brittana approach Quinn in the later seasons: they know that, in the past, they have fought with Quinn and stolen her boyfriends and threatened to quit their trio like every other week, and there’s been lots of weird stuff between them, but ultimately they realize that Quinn is their family, and they love and accept Quinn no matter what.
One of the main ways in which Brittana show their loving acceptance for Quinn is by allowing her to be the one to dictate the way the Unholy Trinity friendship functions. When Quinn isolates herself, they’ll seek her out and ask her nicely to return, but if she denies them, they’ll just let her be, trusting that eventually she’ll come back when she’s ready. They’re not going to push or get all up in her face. They know better than most people that everyone has to go at their own pace and that you shouldn’t force anyone to change their lives before they’re prepared to.
Honestly, I think Brittana’s “give her space” approach to Quinn explains why she doesn’t attend their wedding.
It’s not that Brittana don’t invite her.
I mean, they’re obviously fine with Quinn, even after the events of episode 4x14, given that they interact with her on friendly terms throughout S5 and early S6.
It’s that she chooses not to come—and if I had to guess why, I’d say it’s probably because she feels awkward knowing that the last time she and Santana attended the same wedding, they ended up sleeping together.
She knows she and Brittana are good under normal circumstances, but she can’t help but worry that it will be a little bit strange for her to be at their wedding, given that she and Santana have slept with each other. She feels uncomfortable, so she doesn’t show. She probably makes some excuse, saying she is busy with school or her job or traveling elsewhere.
—and headcanon says Brittana know that the excuse is bogus, but they don’t hold it against her.
For as much as they might like to have Quinn at the wedding, she clearly isn’t ready to be there, so they give her a pass. That’s just kind of their m.o. with Quinn. They’ll give her as much attention as she’ll allow but no more.
That’s why I say that the future of the Unholy Trinity is ultimately on Quinn.
If she seeks Brittana out and shows that she is receptive to their overtures, then I can see them having a fairly warm relationship going forward. But if she continues to remain aloof, then Brittana will let her be.
Of course, I’d like to imagine that as Quinn matures and undergoes more treatment for her trauma and mental health issues, she becomes increasingly more comfortable with herself and is better equipped to maintain friendships. Though in her teens and twenties, she routinely ghosted whenever she couldn’t deal, now she actually reaches out to people—including Brittana.
Sure, their relationship is never exactly as close as they perhaps once wished it could be, but there’s still genuine affection there.
So to the actual headcanons:
In their twenties, sometimes they’ll go months without any contact, but then out of the blue Brittana will get a postcard from Quinn who’s doing grad school work in Europe or attending some kind of nonprofit fundraiser on the West Coast. The postcard never says much, just, “Miss you girls. ❤ Q.” Just knowing that Quinn is out in the world and doing okay makes Brittana smile. The postcards go up on the refrigerator, stuck on with Brittany’s most colorful magnets.
On the rare occasions when they’re in the same city, they go out for coffee and drinks. Brittana tease Quinn about her abysmal choices in men, and she tells them to fuck off because back when they were in high school and still dating boys, they didn’t fare much better. Later in the night, once they’re sufficiently drunk, they talk about how surreal it is that they’ve all slept with both Puck and Sam and that Brittany and Quinn have both slept with Santana, and Santana groans and says she needs another cosmo if they’re going to continue with this conversation. They all agree that they’re so glad things are different now.
Occasionally, Quinntana fight on Twitter over political stuff. They’re mostly on the same side of the fence, but they do come from very different backgrounds, and there have been a few times when Santana has called Quinn out for spouting white feminist bullshit and Quinn has told Santana that she’s being unrealistic and needs to pull her head out of her ass. Brittany usually tries to make some joking comment to diffuse the situation, but in one instance things get so bad that Quinntana end up blocking each other and not talking—on Twitter or otherwise—for several months. The radio silence between them lasts a long time, but then one day something happens with Rachel, whom they both mutually follow, and they end up replying to the tweet almost simultaneously. A brief conversation ensues, and the next thing you know, they’re both following each other again. They eventually talk through their old issue and move on. Brittany posts a #tbt unholy trinity photo on Instagram to commemorate their make-up.
Over the holidays, when Brittana are in Lima visiting their folks and they run into Judy at the grocery store, they text Quinn “saw ur mom today xoxoxo.” Two seconds later, they send her a selfie they took with Judy by the freezer waffles. They’re all pulling duck faces. Quinn responds with an eye-roll emoji, but Brittana know she secretly loves it.
Someday in the future, an obituary for one Sue Sylvester, Esq. starts circulating online. Brittana call Quinn and talk through the weird tangle of feelings that they know only she can really understand, stunned that the larger-than-life cheerleading coach who was in so many ways a monster to them is finally gone.
If Quinn ever marries, you can bet that Brittana get her the most embarrassing sex toy ever for her bridal shower but the most thoughtful gift ever for the wedding—something not on the registery but that she ends up loving anyway.
Once they get into their thirties, they don’t see one another or talk very often, but when they do, it’s good. They’re living in different places, and their lives have taken very different turns, but they still enjoy one another’s company when they can have it. Quinn laughs more now than she ever did in high school, and she’s much more easygoing. There’s no slapping or one-upping. They all have this unspoken sense that they survived something together, and while it’s not the straightforward kind of friendship most people would recognize, for them it works. It’s what the Unholy Trinity is all about.
Sam Evans and Noah Puckerman
When it comes to these boys, Brittana’s future relationships with them really depend on their future relationships with Brittana’s female friends.
Simply put: If in the long term Sam ends up with Mercedes and Puck ends up with Quinn, then Brittana are going to keep in contact with Sam and Puck by association. But if those romantic relationships don’t pan out, then I think Brittana will seldom if ever see or talk to Sam and Puck again except at glee reunions.
In real life, very few people actually marry their high school sweethearts, but in the Gleeverse, pretty much the exact opposite statistic holds true.
That being the case, methinks that chances are Brittana will end up seeing their ex-boyfriends with some frequency over the years.
—and, frankly, while that’s probably not something they would have chosen to do if their friendships with their best girls didn’t necessitate it, I think that with things as they are, they probably actually take everything pretty in stride, and they’re able to foster a good group dynamic that works out well in the end.
Since they’re closer with Mercedes than they are with Quinn, they see Sam more often than they do Puck.
Now that she is not in direct competition with him for Brittany, Santana reverts to her S3 dynamics with Sam, meaning that she treats him like a dorky younger brother, teasing him about his lips (and now probably also his relationship with Mercedes). He takes her snark in stride and they actually develop a fairly good rapport. It’s not like they disclose a lot to each other or they ever hang out together in the absence of Mercedes, but they can keep a friendly conversation going at family BBQs, and there’s a lot less tension between them nowadays than there was during S4, for sure.
Brittany goes back to mostly ignoring Sam, much as she did throughout S2, S5, and S6. It’s not that she’s cold to him, but they don’t really have a lot of one-on-one conversations with each other. They do fine in a group setting, and Sam’s impressions still make Brittany laugh pretty hard, but the personal bond they used to have has essentially dissolved. They dated, and thank god it didn’t work out, because now they’re both married to other people—the right people—and they wouldn’t have things any other way.
I tend to think that if Samcedes get married, they’ll almost certainly have kids someday, and if Brittana also have kids someday, then I can see playdates as a real bonding experience for Brittana and Sam. Sam is great with kids, and Brittana would be the kind of moms who would love anyone who loved their children, so watching Sam run around with Sugar their toddler on his shoulders at the same time that his and Mercedes’s baby sits cooing at them from a nearby bouncy swing would definitely be something that they would find endearing.
As for Puck, Brittana don’t have a ton to say to him, and, honestly, Quinn tends to for the most part leave him behind when she and Brittana have meetups (“He says we should have fun doing our ‘girlie stuff.’ He’s going out with some of his old squadron buddies. He’ll swing by around midnight to pick me up”).
Still, on the rare occasions when they are with him, they get along okay. Pretty early on, he figures out that Brittany is a wizard at calculating flight trajectories off the top of her head, so he quizzes her on the physics like it’s a party trick, and he and Santana mostly just talk shit to each other, not in a mean way like they used to but just because they’re both hotheads who like to run their mouths.
Of course, Puck is always a little bit weird about the fact that both he and Brittana are attracted to women, not in the sense that he says lewd things—he grew out of that after high school, thank god—but in the sense that he is clearly fascinated and keeps trying to figure out if Brittana have “types.”
Brittana and Quick will be out having drinks, and Quinn will excuse herself to go use the restroom, and as soon as she’s out of earshot, Puck will point up at whatever actress or model is on the TV over the bar and make a comment like, “Hot blonde, right? Great legs,” trying to see if Santana and Brittany will agree with him.
Hint: They mostly just roll their eyes.
All in all, Brittana are never very personally close with either Sam or Puck, but they learn to get along with them pretty well in the way one does with in-laws.
Mercedes Jones
Saved the happiest one for last.
Since Mercedes is the friend Brittana have the best relationship with to close out the show, I think she is the one they remain emotionally closest to as the years march on. When she took them on as her background dancers, that made her their family, and they’re always going to feel warmly towards her and want to spend time with her when they can.
Of course, that said, Mercedes is a busy person with a recording career and active touring schedule, so maintaining a relationship with her requires some serious work on the parts of both parties.
When Mercedes rolls into town, Brittana know that they are basically “on call” to meet up with her whenever she can spare a moment between her radio gigs and photo shoots and recording sessions and nightly concerts.
Sometimes they’ve reunited with her in the strangest places and under the most hectic circumstances—for twenty minutes in the parking lot at the airport while she is on a layover coming back to the States from the UK, backstage at Studio 8-H while she’s filming promos for an SNL episode on which she’s the musical guest, and at three in the morning on a double-decker bus outside MSG after she rocks a sold-out show and takes three successive encores.
They don’t necessarily get to talk to her very often, but they do text with her every few weeks, and on the rare occasions when they can “steal her” for an hour or two, they make up for lost time laughing and singing and smiling their full heads off.
—and for as busy as Mercedes is, she does go the extra mile to make time for Brittana, too, flying them out to LA to lay down some background vocals on a charity track she’s doing for hurricane relief; throwing them a baby shower the same day she has a morning interview with Kelly Ripa; making sure that they know ten months in advance that they will be bridesmaids at her wedding so they had better clear their calendars (“Santana, you are allowed three mouth jokes about my groom during the reception, so you’d better use them wisely—and not during your toast”).
Once Mercedes and Sam start having kids of their own, Mercedes’s schedule clears out somewhat—not because her career is failing but because she makes a personal decision to spend as much time as she can with her family—and once it does, she and Brittana are able to socialize more regularly.
I headcanon Mercedes as Brittana’s child(ren)’s godmother, and I think that Brittana are probably godmothers to at least one of her kids, too.
Sometimes Mercedes still has no idea what Brittany’s talking about when she rambles, and Sancedes still rib each other on occasion, but at the end of the day, they’re three friends who support and love each other no matter what.
Because both sides continually put in the effort to keep the friendship alive and growing, Brittanacedes actually get closer as the years go on, developing a truly intimate friendship of the kind that earns Brittana mentions in Mercedes’s “Greatest Hits” album liner notes and which makes Brittana feel, perhaps for the first time outside of the relationship they have with each other, that they’ve got someone who really has their backs and will put in the work for them like a true friend should.
Final Note
Though I believe that Brittana will grow apart from many members of the New Directions over time, that’s not to say that I think that they won’t have friends.
Even as they grow apart from some members of their high school social circle, they’ll make new friends through their school, work, and other activities. There may be besties in their future that we never got to meet on the show—a neighbor who has kids the same age as theirs are, a hilarious coworker, a wlw couple they meet at Pride.
Honestly, I think that Brittana will increasingly come into their own as they get older. While they were “popular girls” in high school, the reality is that they both had a lot of hangups that made it difficult for them to make and keep friends and develop platonic intimacy even with the people they liked. As adults, they’re infinitely more comfortable with themselves and better equipped to let others in. They don’t hide. They show all of the awesomeness that they are.
Like I talk about at the end of this post, Brittana have a lot to offer people who give them a fair shake and see them for who they are currently as opposed to who they may have been in the past. They’re hilarious, talented, generous women who have a great capacity for love.
I’ve gotta believe that adulthood will be good to our girls. They’re gonna be surrounded by lots of people they love and who love them.
