I’m sorry, but that gives me so much ick. First of all, he BARELY knew her then. Second of all, if he loved her, he wouldn’t have hurt her like that. “He did it to protect her” stfu stfu stfu. THERE WAS NO BENEFIT FROM IT. Even Amarantha was puzzled by it. Rhysand ONLY did it to make Tamlin jealous; Tamlin was killing Amarantha either way, he didn’t need fucking “motivation.” And honestly, Rhysand was giving him motivation to kill him instead of Amarantha.

If you truly love someone, you won’t hurt them like that. Tamlin chose her before all of Prythian. All. Of. Prythian. Rhysand can’t compete.
