'A Fresh Start đ˛*ŕŠâŠâ§âËđ[part i]
After choosing to break the cycle, Jinx [now Powder] tries to find her place in the countryside away from everything she once knew, drawn to someone who seems to embody everything she's wanted but never deserved. playlist!!!
The cottage was quiet, almost too quiet. She had chosen this place for that very reason after all. It was far from everything she used to know. Far from people who might recognize her, far from her past, and most importantly, far from the chaos she had attracted her whole life.
And yet, the quiet unsettled her.
Her days were simple now. Fixing up the cottage, teaching herself how to cook, tending to the purple and orange flowers she had no idea how to take care of. Simple things.
She only went into town when absolutely necessary, and even then, she kept her head down and her interactions short. People didnât pry, but she saw the curiosity in their eyes. They looked at her like she was out of place, as if she wasnât where she was supposed to be.
Except for you. You were different. Powder had noticed that right away.
The first time she saw you, she thought she was just seeing things.
You were at the edge of the farmerâs market, the sun shining down on you, your head tilted back, shoulders shaking as you laughed, your body so... unguarded. As if you weren't constantly looking over your shoulder waiting for something bad to happen. And for a moment, Powder forgot how to breathe. It wasnât just the sound of your laughter or the warmth in your eyes when you spoke to someone who passed by. You had this way of moving like you belonged there, like you were part of the town in a way she couldnât imagine ever being.
Sheâd only meant to grab a few supplies, slip in and out before anyone could try to talk to her. But then there you were, and she couldnât look away.
She didnât approach you. Told herself it was because she didnât want to stand out, didn't want to risk anyone noticing her more than they already had. But deep down, she knew the truth. You made her feel small. The type of small you feel when you're around someone you look up to. A person who represents everything you want to be, someone you want to keep in your life forever. She couldn't just walk up to you so casually, not when you reminded her of everything she wasn't.
And yet she couldn't keep her distance. Because even though you left her feeling small, you also made her want to be something more. You made her hopeful. A feeling that had been so rare to come by nowadays. That maybe, just maybe one day sheâd be as content as you were in this small warm town.
She wanted to know what it was like to feel so at ease, to be... satisfied. Not perfect, not terrible, but enough. And when she saw you, she saw how.
She started seeing you more often after that. Helping at the market, skipping down the dirt paths, stopping to pet the stray cats that wandered by, you took your time with everything you did, like there was no rush, like you had all the time in the world. It wasnât long before she found herself looking for you whenever she came into town.
You were always smiling, always patient with everyone you spoke to. She couldnât help but wonder if this is what being at peace looked like.
She couldnât stop thinking about it. About you. About the way you seemed to fit so perfectly. It made her heart ache, this longing for something she wasnât even sure she could have.
Sometimes, sheâd catch herself lingering for too long, staring as you handed out fresh flowers to some kids or waved goodbye to one of the older shopkeepers. Sheâd duck her head, hoping you hadnât noticed, but part of her wished you would.
Late at night when her little cottage was quiet and cold, sheâd let her mind wander. Sheâd imagine herself laughing like you did, walking through the town with that same easy confidence. Sheâd picture you waving to her. Not out of politeness, but because you knew her. Because she was someone worth knowing, someone you wanted around.
It was a stupid thought. She knew that much. Someone like you, so open and kind didnât belong anywhere near someone like her. But the thought still lingered, no matter how much she tried to push it away.
But for now, she stayed at a distance, quietly admiring you from afar. Wondering if one day sheâd have the courage to find her own place in this town, preferably next to you.
Today, you were at the bakery, carrying a piece of warm bread to the counter. Powder stood just outside the window, watching as you handed a loaf to the shop owner with that signature smile that never seemed forced. Your hair caught the sunset through the glass, and her heart did this stupid little flip that she hated and loved at the same time.
You were everything. Bright, grounded, kind in a way that felt genuine. It was the way people lit up around you, how even the grumpiest of the townsfolk seemed to soften in your presence. Powder found herself wanting to be one of them.
But not today. Today was coming to an end. So as she watched you place your bread in your basket, she took one last glance at your face before turning on her heel, heading home.
At night, when the world was still, she tried to ignore how much of her thoughts were filled with you. She told herself it didnât matter, that this small admiration was harmless.
But as the days passed, it grew harder to ignore. Harder to convince herself that watching from afar was enough.
. . .
You were standing near the fountain in the town square, chatting with a small group of neighbors. The market stalls around you were loud, filled with laughter and conversation. Powder stood by one of the lamp posts, her hands shoved deep into the pockets of her worn jacket, and her eyes glued to you.
You were smiling, of course, your face lit up with that same warmth that made her heart skip a beat. It was such a simple scene, one she had seen countless of times before. And yet, today, it felt different.
Her eyes darted to the little group you were standing with, chatting like it was the most natural thing in the world. The way you tilted your head, listening to some old guy ramble about whatever. So patient, so... nice. Powderâs chest clenched, hard.
She shouldnât be here. This wasnât her place. It was yours, with your calm smiles and easy conversations. Meanwhile, her hands were shaking just thinking about standing that close. People like her didnât fit in with people like you. She was jagged edges and scrambled thoughts, and you were everything smooth and steady.
But still, her feet wouldnât move. Not backward, not forward. Just... stuck, staring at the way you chuckled when one of the neighbors cracked some lame joke. She hated how much she wanted to be part of it, part of you.
The thought made her stomach flip in the worst way. She didnât deserve that kind of peace, not after everything sheâd done. Not after all the ways sheâd ruined things.
But then you laughed again, and it hit her like a punch to the face. That sound, that easy, genuine laughter, it made her feel like maybe, just maybe, she could want something good for herself. Even if she didnât deserve it. She wanted it more than anything.
She let out a shaky breath, every part of her screaming to go home and hide. She almost did. But then she looked up, and there you were, smiling, like the world wasnât a mess. Like things could be easy if you let them.
Her feet began to move before she could stop them.
The crowd didnât even notice her no whispers, no stares, just the usual hum of the town square. She kept walking, her heart pounding so loud it drowned out everything else.
And suddenly, she was right there. Close enough to smell your perfume, closer than she had ever been.
You turned your head towards her, mid-laugh.
She shouldâve ran. She shouldâve stayed away, kept pretending this wasnât something she wanted.
But she didnât.
Her voice was quiet, shaky, but it was hers.
âHey.â
You blinked, surprised but not unkind, and Powder swore she saw your smile widen ever so slightly.
It wasnât much. But it was the first step.
. . .

It's good to know how to protect yourself, but I agree that a lot of people take it way too far. I think the best general rule is; Like the first person said, highly populated areas during the day are generally safest for the first few dates. Cafe, movie, restaurant, picnic at the park, whatever suits you. As long as there's cameras and people and it's not the middle of the night. Shoot someone a text about where you are if it makes you more comfortable but it's generally not necessary to be too stressed about it. NEVER go to a bar or a club with a guy/date without telling anyone. Yes, even if you're gay, mlm and wlw dates aren't always safe either. Tell people where you are and when you plan on coming home, don't take your eyes off your drink. Common sense. Never go to a house or secluded location unless you know the person REALLY really well. Shoot someone a text letting them know where you are beforehand. If you get a bad gut feeling to the point where you feel the need to use a million extra security measures, just listen to your feelings, make an excuse, say "sorry i have to go, thanks for your time", and politely leave. Don't try to push through it or make it work if you're getting a bad vibe. Just end the date early, don't bother with a million extra paranoid measures. You're better off just going home if you feel unsafe. If you think someone's following you home, drive around a block a few times to confirm they're actually following you, then drive towards a police station. Usually they'll back off.
You don't need a million self defense devices and gadgets. Learn some basic maneuvers, keep one or two REASONABLE self defense tools at most if necessary. You only really need any of this stuff if you're walking home alone at night a lot. You don't need a million alarms and locks in your house either, they're probably more dangerous than whatever threat you're trying to protect yourself from. Simple latches on your doors and windows will usually do just fine, especially if you're not in a high-crime area (most of the women posting their elaborate security systems online, nay, the only people that can AFFORD elaborate security are white people in a nice little middle class neighborhood with white picket fences. They have nothing to be scared of). You don't need 50 guns, you don't need a husband with you 24/7, most of you don't need 10 alarms or 100 different locks on your door and barricaded windows that'll be real inconvenient when you're in a housefire or a more realistic emergency. Let loose a little. enjoy your life. Go on a cute date without checking your phone 80 times. Live in the moment for a change. It's ok. A while ago I had to walk a mile in the dark after a long shift at work. I share transportation with someone and I live too far away to just walk home, but they had the car, and we worked in the same town so I thought I'd just walk over and ask for the keys instead of waiting around for the next few hours for them to get off their late night shift. The sun went down before I left, it was quiet, dark, and there were lots of run down houses. I passed by a few strangers on the way there. You wanna know what happened? Nothing. Well, my legs were tired and I got a few stickers stuck to my shoes. But other than that, nothing. Did I have the means to defend myself if I had to? Yeah. I keep a couple practical things on me just-in-case. But I've never needed them, and hopefully I never will.
You know the most dangerous thing I encountered on that walk? The lack of fucking sidewalks and crosswalks. Had to strategically dart across some very busy roads and watched a guy slam on his brakes past the white line because he was going to run a red light until he saw me step forward a bit. The danger was not the random guy or two I saw walking around, probably in a similar situation as me, and minding their business. If you want to make your city safer, advocate for better walkability or public transit, lmao.
ďťż
i'm sorry the self-victimization of some women i see online is crazyyyyy, they're saying shit like "yeah being a woman is so crazy, if you go on a date you have to text his full name and picture to your friend, and also where you're meeting, and share your location throughout the date, and check in hourly" girl the only safety measure you need is meeting in a populated place. that man is NOT going to kidnap you from Popular Cafe on Well-Frequented Street in broad daylight at 2pm. i promise. do you go forest hiking as a first date or what the fuck.

imagine skinny dipping with your bf Jake đŤŁđ¤
short writerâs block period breaks at this request
***
Itâs a particularly warm night and neither you nor Jake could fall asleep with the sound of distant cicadas humming through the air mixed with the heat. He suggested a walk with the hopes of tiring the two of you out by the time you got back to the tent and when you agreed to accompany him, Jake fetched his lantern and the two of you were on your way.
You found yourselves around the open lake, where the rest of your friends laid in the sun while eating lunch earlier that day. The water was nice and refreshing against your hot skin. Jake mustâve been thinking the same thing because he stopped walking all of a sudden and turned to face the lake before looking at you.
âNo oneâs here, you know,â Jake says curiously.
âEveryoneâs asleep, dummy.â
He winks and pulls you in close by the waist, giving you a reassuring squeeze. You feel his lips move closer until theyâre ghosting the shell of your ear. âI know, baby. Makes me wanna do something fun.â
âOh? Like what?âJake nips at your ear before pulling back and taking his shirt off. The sudden movement leaves you a bit stunned, as does his impeccable chest and abdomen, and he chuckles when your eyes donât move from his body.
âLetâs go for a swim.â
Your eyes grow wide. âNow?!â
âWhy not?â Jake shrugs. âThereâs nobody around.â
âWe donât have towels.â
âWeâll dry up when we get back to the tent.â
âSomebody could seeâŚâ
Jake takes your hand in his and kisses your palm. âBaby, nobodyâs awake and if they were, theyâre not coming to the water.â
Well, when your boyfriend puts it that way, he makes skinny dipping sound more fun than it actually is. You see his muscles ripple when you reach out to touch him and he grins before stepping back to take off his pants and boxers too.
You gulp when you see him fully naked and despite having seen him in this state of dress multiple times, you still look at him in awe. Jake laughs and it pulls you out of your thoughts.
âYour turn.â
When you donât move because youâre too focused on looking at him, Jake walks over towards you and places his fingers around the hem of your shirt. His touch ghosts along your waistline and you obey when he lifts your shirt off of your chest and let him look at you naked from this angle. You feel a slight chill down your spine despite the warm weather.
âSo beautiful,â Jake whispers as he discards your t-shirt with his clothes. He hooks his thumbs on your sleeping shorts. âCan I take these off too?â
Jake sees you nod and smiles. You expect him to shove the fabric down and discard it like he did with your shirt. Instead, Jake follows the pathway down your body as he takes off your shorts and panties for you. It makes you gulp when you look town to see him crouching before you, beckoning for you to take off your sandals so he can take off the remainder of your clothes. You gasp when Jake pulses forward to kiss your folds.
He stands back to his full height and starts to walk towards the lake with the sound of gravel crunching underneath him. It takes you a few seconds to process what just transpired and youâre suddenly feeling a little too wet for comfort. Jake turns around when he notices you arenât behind him.
âYou cominâ?â

First Wedding Anniversary ~ Love That Burns
LOVE THAT BURNS MASTERLISTÂ /Â EVERYDAY MOMENTS MASTERLIST
Word Count:Â 1,060ish
Summary:Â Your first wedding anniversary with Logan rolls around.
Notes:Â This fic goes with my series, Love That Burns! Please give it a read!
Reminder:Â IÂ DO NOTÂ do taglists. Please donât ask. Please follow and interact! I appreciate any reblogs, likes, comments, and asks!Â
Logan wasn't one for remembering dates, and you understood that. So you took it upon yourself to plan something for your first wedding anniversary. You were grateful that it was a Sunday and that Logan didnât have to work. You kissed his bare shoulder before slipping out of the bed. You tugged one of Logan's flannels over you and headed for the kitchen. Turning on some music, you began to throw together a small breakfast for Logan.
Logan woke up almost as soon as the music turned on. He could hear the music, groaning in frustration that he couldnât pull you into him to keep you in bed. You were already up and moving. With a sigh, Logan got out of bed, slipping some sweats on before heading for the kitchen. He found himself stopped in the nearest doorway, a smirk on his lips, as he watched you move to the music while cooking. He was so lucky to have you in his life.Â
Slowly, he came up behind you and wrapped his arms around you. You let out a little squeal as Logan's movements surprised you.
âMorning,â he gruffly said as he buried his head in your neck.
âMorning,â you replied with a smile, still working. âYou were supposed to stay in bed.â
âCanât sleep with you being so loud out here.â
âHey! I am not being that loud.â
âWhatever you say, sweetheart.â He held a kiss to your neck, causing you to lean back into him. âIs there a reason youâre making me breakfast?â
You shrugged with a small smirk. âMaybe.â
âYou really not gonna tell me?â
âNope. Guess youâll have to wait and see.â
Logan grunted disapprovingly before letting you go and beginning to help you. The two of you ate breakfast outside on the back patio, looking at the wonderful view of the mountains. Your plan needed Logan to go out for a while, so after breakfast, you waltzed up to him with a list.
âDo you mind running down to town for me?â You asked, giving him the best puppy dog eyes you could manage.
âWhat do you need from town?â He asked, wiping his hands dry from doing the dishes.
âJust a few items,â you handed him the list.
His brows rose at the sight. âA few items? Thereâs at least twenty on this list.â
You sighed, making sure it was dramatic. âIf you canât, Iâll justââ
âNo, no, no, Iâll go.â
âThank you!â You gave him a kiss.
He chuckled. âYou're welcome. You sure you don't need to add anything else?â
âNope!â You kissed his cheek before walking away. âDon't worry about rushing back!â
Loganâs brows pinched together. âOkay?â He could tell you were up to something, but it wasn't worth the fight. So Logan got dressed and headed out to gather your list from the stores in town.
As soon as Logan was gone, you got to work. The house needed to be cleaned, dinner needed to be made, the bedroom needed to be put together, and you needed to make sure that you were ready for the night.
~~~
Logan was completely done with the list when he passed by the flower shop. A few bouquets caught his eye, and he decided you deserved one.Â
âWelcome,â the owner greeted as Logan entered the store.
âThanks,â Logan mumbled, eyes scanning the various bouquets.
âAre you looking for anything specific?â
âNo.â
"Celebrating anything? A birthday? An anniversary?â
Logan froze as the words left the owner's mouth. He was a terrible husband. It was your first wedding anniversary and he had completely forgotten. âFuck.â
âExcuse me?â
âSorry. That wasnâtâI forgot that itâs my wife and Iâs anniversary.â
âOh, how many years have you been together.â
âA lot of time. But it's our first wedding anniversary.â
âWell, I have a few bouquets ready to go if you want to take a look at them.â
âIâll take them all.â
âWhat?"
âAll of the bouquets you have ready. I want them.â
âYou sure?"
âPositive.â
~~~
The house was clean. The table was set with dinner ready on it. The house was lit with candles and soft romantic music played through the house. You were anxiously waiting for Logan, wearing a new outfit specially picked out for this. You bit your lip as you heard the truck pull up. The sounds outside had you curious as they sounded rushed and almost frantic. You were about ready to head to the door when it burst open, and Logan came hurrying in with too many bouquets in his arms.
âLogan, whatâ"
âIâm sorry,â Logan quickly interrupted you. âIâm so sorry, sweetheart. I completely forgot it was our anniversary. Iâm a terrible husband, and Iââ
Your hand came up and pressed against his lips, stopping his rambling. You couldnât help but smile at him with a light laugh. âLogan, honey, I know you. I know that youâre terrible with dates because of your memory issues, and I know that you'd never purposefully forget our anniversary. Itâs why I took control of it.âÂ
Logan finally looked around, taking in the candles and your new outfit. His eyes caught sight of the set table and the dinner awaiting on it. You had pushed him out of the house to set this up. For him.Â
âI should have remembered,â he muttered against your hand.Â
You shook your head, stepping closer despite the flowers in his arms. âI remembered for the both of us. Plus, I wanted to do something special for you. You deserve good things too, Logan.â
Logan let the flowers fall to your feet before he took your wrist, kissing your palm before pulling your hand away from his mouth. âI only need one good thing, princess, and thatâs you.â His other arm went around your waist and pulled you closer. âYou are all I need.â The two of you shared a slow, loving kiss before Logan pulled away. âI love you so much, sweetheart. Thank you for doing this.â
âLogan, I love you. I wanted to make sure you knew that.â
Loganâs eyes softened with a vulnerability only reserved for you. âI donât deserve someone as wonderful as you, sweetheart, but I'll keep trying.â
Your hands came up to gently hold Loganâs face. âYou deserve everything, James, including me." You pulled him in for a brief kiss. âHappy anniversary, honey.â
"Happy anniversary, sweetheart.â

Read buttermilk today and now @ceilidho got me on that babysitter grindset⌠but what if I freaked it up a little.
cw: age gap (reader is around 21 and Soap is like 29ish), something sorta flirting with/on the edge of fauxcest due to a sibling-like bond, so Iâm gonna tag it as such just in case.
Before Johnny enlisted, heâd only ever had one paying job.
Taking care of you.
About eight years your senior, your mom decided to go back to working when you were around 4 and he was on the cusp of 13. And for 5 years (an eternity to a kid like you) he was your best friend in the world. Would get out of school, walk to the elementary school to get you, bring you home, and hang out until whenever your parents got off of work.
And the boy was devoted. Didnât mind that he had to put off hanging with his friends till the weekend. Didnât mind making your snacks or watching silly kids movies. Didnât mind when you asked him to play pretend veterinarian with you, and he had to lay down and act like a really sick horse. And you loved him.
The first time your parents took you on a vacation and you realized he wouldnât be there? You were so mad. As mad as a 4 year old can be.
Youâre embarrassed when you cry at the news that heâs enlistingâ at age 10 youâre not supposed to cry anymore, youâre a big girl. He hugs you so tight, early in the morning before he has to go.
His folks move during his first tour. There isnât an anchor to bring him back to you for a very long time. Over a decade, as it turns out.
Heâs getting ready to go on leave when he gets a callâ his mum buzzing with some kind of gossip as usual.
âYouâll never guess who I saw down at Sainsburyâsââ
Your university happens to be in the town his family moved to. He has his own place now of course, but he likes to keep close to them.
His first night back and his mum is beside herselfâ trying to get the place nice, because youâre joining them for dinner. Johnny never even considers that when you come to the door, youâre not the little girl he left tearing up on her parents porch.
He has to remember to close his mouth at the sight of you. His dad offers you a beer for fuckâs sake. Heâs amazed at how much has changedâ but also, how much is the same. The curve of your nose, and bubble of your laughter, the way your eyes widen with interest.
You happen to be on break right now. So of course, he ends up unwittingly spending all of his leave with you. You were always a funny kidâ youâre a lot funnier now that you can swear. And you were always cute but now youâre so⌠pretty.
And he is not a fucking fan of the kind of attention it gets you. The way guys look at you when youâre sitting alone, waiting for him at a coffee shop. How your phone goes off at least once every 20 minutes, and itâs almost always âthis guy from your classâ. He tells himself that itâs just because he was responsible for you for so longâ that heâs just having trouble shaking that off. He just remembers when you were so innocentâ he doesnât wanna see you get chewed up and spit out by college boys.
And he keeps finding himself falling into old patterns. Making you stay still so he can wipe your mouth after having a bit of a messy danish. Holding your hand tight when youâre in a busy place, crossing any streets. Having you tell him what you want so he can order things for you. Picking you up so he can hear you giggle and tell him to put you down.
He tells himself that when he touches himself later that itâs just because being away for work has left him touch starved and sensitive. Itâs only natural to get turned on by a pretty girl who leans into him⌠especially when you get along so famously.
(Even though he remembers playing I spy while he held your hand and walked you home from school, your little backpack slung over his shoulder, even though he had his own to carry. )
Before he knows it, itâs his last night at home, ending it off with another of his mumâs dinners. At the table you casually mention the graduate schools youâre thinking of going toâ some close by, some not. He almost chokes when you mention that thereâs a really nice school in Canada you were considering.
Thatâs when he knows heâs fucked. Because he doesnât think of that as you getting on with your life. Of a girl getting her education. He thinks of that as losing you, and after the bliss of the past couple of weeks heâs had with you, heâs not sure heâll take being separated from you nearly as long as he did the last time. Not to mention all of the guys at your school trying to get their hands on you.
So heâs gonna have to find a way to get you too invested to travel far. And figure out how to protect you from those assholes when heâs not around.
Making you a part of his family and putting his ring on your finger should be enough, right?

Obsession
Pairing: Ingrid Thorburn x Reader Warnings: Dark themes!!!! Kidnapping, stalking, Ingrid being delulu.
Currently obsessed with all of Aubrey's characters.
Ingrids obsession for you started like all the others. She had found your account on Instagram and immediately started liking all your stuff. Then she started commenting. Mainly little things asking where you got a shirt or what your favorite item from your favorite coffee place was. Then the following starts.
She sits at your favorite bakery waiting for you to come in and when you do she sneaks little photos of you. Follows you home and sneak in. and then she begins talking to you.
It was in the bakery that she first approaches you. Your getting ready to pay for your items but she quickly steps in and pays them herself. You fumble over your words as you thank her. She thinks it's adorable. From there she gets your number. She texts you every day and you both have even made it a thing to grab coffee together on Wednesdays. She tells herself that this is different. That your different from everyone else. She tells herself that you'll stay.
Ingrid quickly realizes a couple months into your friendship that she's in love with you. From the way you smile when she walks into the room, the way you can make so many people laugh, the way others look up to you, she's in love with it all. She had been breaking into your house more recently mainly when you were asleep. She tells herself its just to make sure your safe. That it's okay because you told her she could come by whenever.
As you lay sleeping one night she grows bolder. Your laying peacefully on your side with your blanket bunched up around you. She walks to the side of the bed and crouches down. Her hand slowly reaches towards your face and brushes some hair away. When you stir she quickly pulls back her eyes wide with fear but she calms down when you seem to settle. Bringing her head up she places a gentle kiss on your head muttering "I love you".
When the new restaurant down towns open up that you haven't been able to stop talking about she decides that's how she'll ask you out. You were basically begging her to take you. Looking at her with puppy eyes that made her melt.
The dinner started out nice. Ingrid was being extremely sweet and even told you she was paying for everything. You tried to argue but she told you that she wasn't going to let you pay. Half way through dinner was when she made a move. She stuttered for a second as she grabbed your hand from across the table. She looked into your eyes and asked you to be her girlfriend. She was so confident you were going to say yes. After all you both were basically already together. She was only asking you to be polite. She wasn't prepared for you to turn her down though. Saying you both worked better as friends. Her hands fell to the side as she clenched and unclenched them. She didn't understand. She thought- No she knew you felt the same way about her. You must just be scared. So she smiled politely and let you think that she was okay with it. But when she walked you back to your car a cloth made it's way over your mouth and nose. Ingrid whispering comforting words into your ear. "Shhh it's okay. Your okay." before you passed out.
When you woke up you noticed you were on a bed. The room was dark and your head was pounding. You groaned as you tried to get out of the bed but noticed something or someone holding onto your waist tightly. That's when you noticed the small breaths on your neck. Your body stiffened as you remembered what happened. Ingrid.. she had kidnaped you. You try to move out of the grip again and go to kick your legs off the bed but stop when something yanks your foot back. You couldn't see because of the darkness but you were guessing she had tied your foot to the bed.
You stiffen once again as feel her move behind you. Her mouth planting a few kisses on your neck as she pulls you back against her.
"Go back to sleep, baby" She whispers as she pulls the blanket higher around you both. Her hand starts rubbing small circles on your stomach as she tries to coax you back to sleep. You didn't understand what was going on or why she was doing this. She had to be crazy you had to get out of there.

I think my roommate cares more about me than my boyfriend ever did.
Sfw for now. The next one will not be. MDNI 18+
Cw: mentions of a break up, roommate!Eddie, College!Eddie, Eddie comforts you, Usage of weed and alcohol.
1.9k words
The landline phone on the kitchen counter rang, its sharp tone pulling you from your thoughts as you struggled to focus on the mountain of homework in front of you. The red numbers on the clock read 8:45 p.m., and you had a sinking feeling it was your mom. You and Brian had been trying to make the long-distance thing work for a while now, but recently, the calls from him had been fewer, and his letters, the ones that used to come weekly, were starting come in more like monthly. Something had been off for a while, but hearing this was like a punch to the gut.
"Hello?" you answered, your voice betraying the exhaustion that had been slowly building up for days.
"Honey," your mom's voice came through the receiver, calm but laced with concern. "I just saw Brian in town with another girl. They were kissing. Holding hands. Everything. He wasnât even trying to hide it."
Your stomach dropped. The rest of her words blurred as your mind scrambled to process what she had just said. Sure, youâd noticed the late-night calls growing sparse, the missed visits, and the feeling that he was becoming more and more distant. But this? This was something else entirely.
"Are you sure?" you whispered, though you already knew the answer, deep down.
"I wish I wasnât, honey," she said softly. "But I had to tell you."
Your fingers tightened around the phone, your chest tightening not from heartbreak, but from the realization that someone you had trusted so much had been hiding something from you. It wasnât even about losing him anymore. It was the disrespect.
"Okay," you said quietly, your voice almost too small to hear.
You didnât even notice Eddie walking into the room until his hand brushed your shoulder lightly, a soft, comforting gesture. You had left your door open. The world felt strangely muted, your mind still reeling from the conversation. He noticed your face was flushed and eyes teary.
âYou okay?â he asked, his voice gentle as he slid onto the bed beside you.
This wasn't out of the ordinary. You and Eddie had a roomie rule: If the door is open you're welcome in. This just helped you not isolate yourselves. Sometimes you want to sit in bed. It also didn't help that he heard your voice crack when your mom told you.
You didnât answer right away. Instead, you handed him the phone, still gripping it like it was the only thing holding you together. Eddie took it without question, speaking briefly to your mom, assuring her that you were fine and didnât need any more details. When he hung up, he turned back to you, his usual teasing grin replaced with something softer, more protective.
"Don't be broken over him. You're not, are you?" he asked, a slight smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
You shook your head, swallowing down the hurt. "Not him. Just⌠who the fuck cheats instead of breaking up? Itâs like he couldnât even give me that much respect."
Eddie paused for a moment, studying you. Then, that familiar grin spread across his face, though it was softer now, almost tender. "You know what I think? This is your wake-up call. The trash took itself out, sweetheart."
A small laugh bubbled up despite yourself. "God, youâre terrible."
"And yet youâre smiling," he quipped, his grin only widening. "Youâre better off, Darling. And you know it."
---
The next few days felt like a blur. You buried yourself in your homework, but your mind constantly drifted back to Brian and what had happened. You werenât relieved, and you definitely werenât just sad. There was a deeper, more complex feeling that lingered in the aftermath of what Brian had done. Being cheated on wasnât just about losing him. It was about the crushing realization that someone you trusted had shattered the very foundation of the memories you'd built together. The things you thought were special now felt tainted, like they never really meant what you believed they did.
You spent the next few days sulking. The betrayal was more than just an ending. It was a reminder that you werenât worth enough for him to just tell you the truth, to have the decency to break up with you before he started something new. You felt the weight of that. The sense that heâd never even given you the chance to move on gracefully, to let go before he had already moved on himself.
It made you feel⌠ugly. Not in the literal sense, but in a way that went deeper. It was the kind of ugly that went beyond physical appearance, rooted in the emotional messiness that crept in when someone you cared about treated you like you didnât matter. The time and energy youâd spent on him...on waiting for those calls, for that attention, it felt like a waste. You could have been doing so many other things, meeting new people, finding someone who would appreciate you for who you were. Flirting back with your roommate. Instead, you spent it waiting for a boy who didnât even have the decency to respect you enough to say goodbye.
The thought that all those months, hell, maybe even years that had been wasted on someone who didnât see your value made the hurt ache even more. There were guys in college, guys who could have been better, who were probably waiting for a girl like you. But you were here, tangled in a past relationship that wasnât even worthy of you.
The quiet frustration and disappointment gnawed at you. And no matter how much you tried to distract yourself, the feelings wouldnât let go. Brian had taken more than just your trust. Heâd taken a part of you. Something that felt like it might never come back.
Eddie, however, didnât give you space to sulk for long. He checked in, just enough to let you know that he was there without pushing you too hard. When he noticed the melancholy hanging around you, he showed up at your door, a pizza box in one hand, a six-pack of something sweet in the other, and your favorite movie The Princess Bride, determined to break through your self-imposed isolation.
You didnât feel like laughing, and you didnât want to feel better, but somewhere deep down, you also didnât want to keep spiraling. Eddieâs presence felt like a small thread that might pull you back to something lighter, something that wasnât so tangled in disappointment.
He never pressed you to talk about it. He just let you be, and in his quiet way, he managed to give you the comfort you needed. A movie, a shared pizza, and him just being there. It didnât fix anything, but it was enough to make you feel like maybe, just maybe, you werenât entirely alone in all of this.
Minutes later, you found yourself curled up on your bed with Eddie, a slice of pizza in hand and a bottle of something too sweet but just right for the moment. The comfort of his presence started to chip away at the sadness, the heaviness youâd been carrying around. Slowly, you began to relax, and the sounds of laughter, both from the movie and from Eddieâs constant, hilarious commentary, filled the room.
Halfway through the movie, Eddie leaned in close, that mischievous spark back in his eyes. "You know what this needs?" He pulled a crumpled baggie and rolling paper from his pocket, holding them up like a prize.
âSeriously?â you asked, laughing despite yourself.
âAbsolutely,â he said, grinning. "Iâm just saying, Buttercup and Westleyâs love is even more epic with a little help. But only if youâre in."
You hesitated, then shrugged. "Why not? Worst-case scenario, I get hungry again."
âThatâs my girl," he said, a grin spreading across his face as he expertly rolled the joint.
The first puff made you cough, and Eddie laughed so hard he nearly dropped the joint. "Oh, sweetheart, youâre adorable. Rookie mistake."
As the high settled in, the tension in your chest loosened. The movie was now ten times funnier. Who thought it could be possible? Every line had you both in stitches, and Eddieâs constant commentary didnât help.
"Fezzikâs totally the real hero here, no doubt," he said, grinning. "The guyâs got heart, muscle, and a sense of humor. You canât beat that."
âYouâre ridiculous,â you said, snorting as you passed the joint back to him.
âRidiculously charming,â he corrected, winking. âDonât pretend youâre not impressed.â
By the time the credits rolled, you were sprawled against him, pizza crumbs on the blanket, your cheeks aching from laughing so hard. You glanced up at him, and for the first time in days, you felt a warmth spread through you not from the weed, but from the way Eddie looked at you. Like he had all the time in the world, like he was just happy to be here, making you smile.
âThanks, Eddie,â you said softly, your voice sincere. "For this. For you."
His grin softened, and for a moment, there was a quiet sincerity in his eyes. "Anytime, sweetheart. You know that." He rested his head back against the pillow, and the world outside seemed just a little less heavy. In this moment, with Eddie by your side, it felt like maybe everything could be okay.
Everything would be okay. You're not going to sulk anymore. In fact, you may act on some feelings you've been holding down. Maybe it was the sweet drink or the weed, but you felt brave, very brave. Eddie wouldn't have done all this if he didn't at least like you a little. You'd pushed these feelings down to remain faithful to Brian. But you'd be lying if you said you'd never thought about Eddie before. He has a naturally flirty side to him.
My girl. Sweetheart. Darling.
These were things he'd call you in passing. You had hung out with Eddie around people before and he reserved those only for you.
He went out of his way multiple times to hang out with you on those nights you waited by the phone that wouldn't ring. The first couple of weekends this happened he'd go on about his own plans. But he came home too many times for comfort to you teary eyed holding the phone in your hand still waiting on it to ring.
"Oh sweetheart how many weekends are you gonna spend by a phone that won't ring? Come with me to the Hideout."
"Nope you're not doing this again. Mandatory roomie movie night."
"Heard that it's nation ice cream cone day. I'm buying and driving. Get up lets go."
These were just a few of the many excuses he made up to get you away from the phone on the weekends. You were free for the first time to act how you wanted. No reprocusions.
"Hey Eddie?" your voice soft and inquisitive.
Eddie's eyes flicked onto yours. "Yeah, sweetheart?"
"You're not um.. busy tomorrow and you don't need to go to bed soon or anything, right?"
"No, I'm not cleared out my weekend just for you. Had to get you out of this funk. Besides its still early. Only about 7 o'clock" he was checking his wrist for the time.
You nibbled at your knuckles mindlessly. You were nervous but quickly asked your question, "Do you wanna play a game?"
Eddies eyebrows raised and his smile softened "Uh yeah, absolutely. What game?"
Your nerves buzzing "Uh, I don't know just truth or dare."

Bets & Bargains - Part 14
Series Masterlist
âŞin which you and bradley go on your seventh date, this one at a fair, and both end up winning more than once.
PSA: strongly suggested to read the warnings before proceeding.
WC; 5k | Do not repost this anywhere, reblogs are fine âĄ
Bradley felt like he was on cloud nine.Â
It took him another hour to get out of bed when you let him fuck you bare yesterday morning. He still couldnât believe he had managed to save his relationship with you, and now it seemed like it was stronger than ever.Â
Thank fuck for that, because as of right now, you were the only good thing he had in his life, and he didnât know what he wouldâve done if he had lost you for good.Â
Since going on impulsive dates was kinda yours and his thing, Bradley remembered this pop up fair that always came to town this time of year, and it only runs for two weeks. This weekend would be the last chance to go, and he knew for a fact that youâd have fun there, so he decided to ask you if you wanted to go with him.Â
His arm was draped around your shoulders as he walked you to your second class of the day. âI wanna do something this weekend,â he started off casually, not wanting to sound like he had been thinking of this idea since last night when you fell asleep in his arms.Â
You looked up at him with your pretty smile and a raise of your brow. âAnother date? What is this, like, our sixth one?â
âSeventh,â he corrected and smirked at the quiet laugh he pulled from you. âAnd going on random dates is our thing, so donât act so surprised.â
You laughed again and shook your head, leaning up to press a kiss to his cheek as you walked with him. âI love going on dates with you,â you murmured, kissing him again before pulling away. âSo what are you thinking about for this weekend?â
âHow about something new?â he suggested, giving you a side glance as he guided you along the campus. Bradley knew your schedule pretty fucking well now, so he knew where your classes were, when they started and when they ended, which was a good thing, since he liked walking you to them. âThereâs a fair thatâs happening in town. Iâve heard that itâs pretty fun and the tickets arenât super fucking expensive either.â
Your eyes lit up and you stopped walking, making him stop as well. âA fair?â you echoed, jumping slightly when he nodded. âI love fairs! Oh, theyâre so fun, Iâve never been to one that wasnât fun.â
Bradley lifted a brow, his lips curving upwards as he looked down at your excited expression. âYeah? Youâve been to a lot?â
You shrugged, giving him a teasing smile. âA few here and there,â you answered, âThis is so fun. When are we going?â
âSo you want to go then? Itâs not even a question anymore?â he teased, laughing at your eye roll.Â
âOf course itâs not a question,â you replied, taking his hand and lacing your fingers together. âFairs are so romantic, Bradley. Especially when youâre with the right person.â
Bradley lifted a brow again, following after you as you started to pull him along the sidewalk. âYou better be talking about me, babes,â
The look over your shoulder you gave him told him all he needed to know, but your words helped too. âOf course Iâm talking about you, flyboy,â you laughed, turning to face him once you were outside the doors of the creative arts building. âEverything feels right with you.â
For some reason, that had Bradley blushing like a fucking teenager. That was probably one of the sweetest things anyone had ever said to him, and it just made him adore you even more. So he didnât respond with words, instead he just leaned down and kissed you, his hand coming up to hold your jaw. âHave a good class,â he murmured in between soft kisses before he finally stepped away from you. âThink of me.â
The smile you gave him brought that blush back to his face. âI always am,â
-
Bradley wanted to take you to the fair, and you werenât sure he was even aware of just how perfect of a date that sounded to you.
And while you were a bit lost on just how many dates youâve gone on with him up until this point, Bradley knew the exact number, and you were definitely sure he wasnât aware of how attractive that is.Â
Then there was the whole no condom thing, and that had your smile growing. Sure, it was kind of an irresponsible decision, but you really needed to be as close as humanly possible with Bradley yesterday, especially since you had discovered that the whole Briana thing was just a massive misunderstanding. You were so relieved that you had been wrong about him being like every other guy, and he had proved it to you so sweetly, you needed to feel him all over you.Â
And it felt fucking amazing, and youâre on the pill, so was it really a bad decision? It sure didnât feel like one.Â
You were all giddy when you went into your class, your happy smile definitely not directed at Clarke personally, but he gave you one back as if it was, which was just fine by you. After having such a terrible start to the week, you would gladly smile at everyone you saw since things had only gotten a lot better since Monday morning.
You sat down in your usual seat, smiling at the girl already sitting in the one beside yours. She was pretty, had long blonde hair and hazel eyes, and for some reason, you had never shared more than a few conversations with her. She seemed nice enough, and you were seriously lacking in the friend department at the moment, so maybe youâd try to talk to her more often.Â
Really, anyone was better than Sam at this point.Â
So when she smiled at you and held up the bag of plain chips she was snacking on before the class started, you grinned back and took one.Â
When the class was over, you packed up your things and got Deliaâs, your table partner, number saved as a contact on your phone. You ended up talking to her quite a bit during class, and you were right, she is really nice and seems like a great friend to have. And you were in no position to turn down what could be a pretty awesome friendship.Â
She offered to hang out for a bit after class, and you agreed, so you followed after her when she began walking towards the door. You had a few hours to kill before you had to go to your yoga class, and usually you would be spending it with Bradley, but hanging out with Delia would give you more time to get to know her better, and you could already tell that you and her have a lot in common.Â
Before you could leave, Clarke called out to you, making you pause. âCan you stay for a second?â he asked, and you furrowed your brows, giving Delia an apologetic look and a gesture that told her that youâd meet her out in the hall in a minute.Â
âSure,â you answer, walking back into the room. You werenât sure why he wanted to talk to you; you hadnât handed in any assignments this week since he hadnât given out any, and you made sure to always pay attention (or at least pretend to if your mind was elsewhere - like on your boyfriend) in class, so you knew you werenât in trouble or anything.Â
Clarke smiled at you, leaning back in his chair and folding his arms behind his head. âHow are you doing?â he asked, his brows coming together in what looked like mock concern, but then again, you didnât know him well enough to assume that.Â
âIâmâŚfine,â you replied, giving him a confused smile back as you shifted on your feet. That was it? Thatâs all he wanted? To know how you were doing?
âYou sure?â he pressed, crossing his arms as he looked down at the papers that were scattered on the surface of his desk. âIn Tuesdayâs class you seemed off. QuieterâŚless talkative. I just wanted to make sure everythingâs okay.â
Oh. Well that was kinda fucking embarrassing. Monday and Tuesday were really bad days for you since you werenât sure where you stood with Bradley at the time, but you had thought you hid it pretty well. Clearly not. And now your teacher was asking about you as if you were back in high school. âOh,â you laughed, either out of nerves of pure embarrassment, or both. âYeah, no, Iâm fine. I was justâŚI had a really bad start to the week. Iâm totally fine now.â
You thought heâd laugh it off too and leave it at that, but then he leaned forward in his chair, bracing his elbows on his knees. âAre you sure?â he asked again, his thighs spread a bit and making his slacks look two sizes too small.Â
Okay, this was getting weird now, and you were definitely beginning to feel uncomfortable. While you appreciated his concern, you had already told him three times now that you were fine, but he was still pushing it. And you didnât think you had bonded with him enough for him to feel the need to be this persistent. You wanted to just nod at him and quickly turn and leave, the need to just get out of this classroom the only thing on your mind right now.
But he continued before you could make your escape. âBecause Iâm here for you if youâre not,â he said, giving you another smile that was more of a sly smirk compared to the other ones. âYou can always come to me if somethingâs bothering you or anything like that.â
Not that he was very high up on the list of the people youâd go to if something was bothering you, but now he wasnât even in the vicinity of said list. You were so on edge and it happened so quickly, you physically couldnât relax your tense shoulders as you nodded slowly and gripped the strap of your bag. âRight,â you mumbled, forcing out a tight smile and a nod as you stepped away from his desk. âThatâsâŚnice, ClarkeâŚI appreciate that.â
You didnât know what else to say. You couldnât exactly go off on your teacher because he hadnât done anything wrong except express his concern about you. But still, why you felt so fucking awkward andâŚgross was beyond you.Â
âNo problem,â he said, and the look he gave you had you holding back a cringe as you turned and headed for the door without saying goodbye.
In the hall, Delia was waiting for you with a kind yet confused smile. âWhat did he want?âÂ
You debated on whether or not to tell her, but didnât know if you were making a big deal out of nothing at all. Really, all Clarke did was voice his concern, there was nothing wrong with that, and you were already feeling better now that you were out of that classroom.Â
So you decided to brush it off for now, and you also decided to not tell Bradley since you were sure heâd make a big deal out of it too, and the last thing you needed right now was more drama.Â
-
Bradley hadnât seen you since he walked you to class yesterday.
You texted him and said that you were going to hang out with a girl from your class before you had to go to yoga, so he didnât get the chance to see you for the rest of the day.Â
It was Friday evening now, and he was waiting in the Jeep as you got ready for your fair date. Bradley still couldnât believe how much you had changed him and his life in so little time. He had never considered himself to be one of those boyfriends who wanted to go out on dates all the time, let alone be the one to suggest most of them (and keep track of them), but here he is; about to go on his seventh date with you in three weeks.Â
His seventh.Â
Who the fuck was he?
When he turned his head and saw you walk out of your building, his jaw dropped just a bit as he took in your, for lack of better words, fucking hot outfit. You were wearing black jeans, a white crop top and ankle boots, and his blue flannel was draped over your shoulders, your hands barely visible as the shirt was way bigger on you than it was on him, and he felt his mouth go dry.
You looked absolutely stunning, like you always did, and Bradley was quickly coming to the realization after seeing you in his jersey, then his sweats and shirt earlier this week, and now his flannel, that he fucking loved it when you wore his clothes.
And you were going to wear his shirt on your date? Fuck, he wanted to pick you up and carry you right back to your bedroom.
He had meant to be a gentleman and open the door for you, but by the time he picked his jaw up off the floor, you were already sliding onto the seat next to him with a pretty smile on your lips, and a floral scent filled his senses. âHi,â you greeted as you shut the door and leaned back, grinning as you looked at the seat warmer button that was switched on.
At least he remembered to turn that on before he was completely floored by how hot his girlfriend is.Â
âHey,â he said back, looking you up and down. You looked even better up close, and his teeth sunk into his bottom lip before he let out a low whistle. âDamn. You look fucking hot.â
You laughed, a mix of surprise and appreciation as you put on your seatbelt. âThanks. You do too,â you blushed, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek. When he made no move to start driving, you gave him a confused look as your gaze flickering between his eyes and the windshield. âWhatâs wrong?â
âYou missed,â he answered as if you had asked him the easiest question heâd ever heard. When your brows furrowed even more, Bradley pointed to his mouth, and you rolled your eyes before leaning in and kissing him on the lips.Â
His hand cradled the back of your head as he deepened the kiss, making you smile against his lips before you pulled away. âThere. Better?âÂ
âMuch,â he nodded before shifting the Jeep into drive and pulling away from your building.Â
It was still light out when Bradley managed to find a spot to park in the very back of the parking lot, which was really just a massive field of gravel and dirt he couldnât wait to pick out of his tires later.
The fair was also really big, so compared to all the cars you and he passed on the way to the front gate, the fair ground itself didnât seem too packed since there were countless places and attractions around that ensured there wasnât just a big crowd.Â
Bradleyâs fingers were loosely laced with yours as he gave you free rein of deciding where the two of you were going or what you were going to do. He honestly didnât care what you did, his attention mainly on how gorgeous you looked in his flannel - which was so obviously his, he could see a few jealous stares from guys who seemed to think they had any chance with you as you pulled him along.Â
When you suddenly turned and started tugging him with you towards the arcade, he laughed, because you were probably the only person heâd ever met that would start with the indoor arcade instead of the ferris wheel or the dart game.
A few minutes later, his forearm was braced on the top of some coin machine, his other hand holding a rather heavy bag of arcade coins that you were currently inserting into the machine over and over again. For every coin you knocked off the pile, you got five prize tickets, and you seemed to be having a blast doing just that while Bradley watched you.Â
He was content doing anything you wanted to, and if you wanted to blow the entire bag on just this âgameâ, he wouldnât stop you, especially since you looked absolutely adorable every time the machine printed out a stack of tickets for you.Â
âSo, flyboy,â you said, bringing his focus away from your pretty face as he gave you his full attention. âHave you decided on what your call sign is going to be once you become a pilot?âÂ
Bradley grinned, because you were the first person who had brought this topic back up since he told you about it. Eli and Wes and even Briana just listened with fake interest when he told them what he wanted to do for a career in the future, and then they never asked about it again.Â
This was just another thing that made you a hundred times better than all three of them combined. You actually listened, and you actually wanted to hear about his plans for the future. âI thought we both decided on that together,â he answered, smirking at the way you quickly looked over at him with wide eyes.Â
âRooster?â you asked for clarification, and he was immediately brought back to his fourth date with you, when you and he had gotten each other off fully clothed in the front seat of his Jeep in the back of a parking garage after being way too distracted to get even halfway through the movie. âSeriously? Your call sign is going to be Rooster?â
âYeah,â he nodded, taking it upon himself to insert another coin into the machine since you were completely focused on him now. âOne, because it has the double O like my dadâs did, and two, because you came up with it.âÂ
Once the coin had fallen into the machine, Bradley turned to face you but was immediately gifted the sweet feeling of your mouth on his as you kissed him hard, right there in the middle of the arcade. âThat is one of the sweetest, most sexiest fucking things anyone has ever said to me,â you mumbled, looking so serious as you caressed his jaw in both hands. âAnd Iâm not even joking.â
Bradley smirked again, because he knew he had another thing to hold above your piece of shit ex. Even though heâd never met Luke, he still was going to call him that, because he was a piece of shit. And he let you go. What a fucking idiot.
Before Bradley could reply, the machine lit up from beside him, flashing yellow a few times before a bucket load of tickets began pouring out. He was so distracted by your surprise kiss, he didnât realize that the coin he had put in ended up knocking over the pile and rewarding him with what looked like a never ending string of tickets.Â
âWoah, baby, I think you won,â you laughed, stepping away from the machine as it continued to spurt out tickets onto the carpeted floor of the arcade. âI didnât even know you could win this game.â
Bradley shrugged, leaning down to pick up the copious amount of tickets in one hand. âGuess Iâm just that good,â he teased, trying to give them to you as he added, âOr maybe itâs because youâre my good luck charm.â
You blushed then shook your head when he tried to hand them to you again. âNo, theyâre yours. You won those,â you protested, and Bradley laughed.Â
âBabes, I put one coin in this thing,â he pointed out, âYou put in, like, thirty. Theyâre yours.â
Your smile was poorly hidden as you finally took them from him before leaning in and giving him another chaste kiss. âWell, thank you,â you mumbled, taking his hand in your free one. âNow we can move on from this game.â
-
Bradley was so fucking sweet, you wanted to kiss him every second of every hour.Â
How could you not have realized that this is what a normal, healthy relationship feels like? Why had you put so much of your life into your relationship with your ex when he really didnât treat you right?
Whatever the reason, you were more than happy to have found Bradley, because he was replacing all your bad experiences with amazing ones, and he had quickly become your favorite person.Â
After you had used up all of the arcade coins and won a fuckton of tickets, you kept two and traded the rest of them in for a bunch of random prizes, like a t-shirt with the fairâs name on it, one of those tall cups that come with a weird straw that made it take forever to actually sip anything out of, and a few other small things Bradley had picked out that neither of you would ever need.
He offered to run everything back to the Jeep, so you stayed by the game booths and browsed them until he got back, and once he did, you pulled him over to the target game after a certain prize caught your eye. âAre you any good?â You ask, nodding towards the plastic gun set on the counter of the booth.Â
âAt this?â Bradley asked, looking at the various targets along the back wall. âI guess now is the time to admit that Iâm kind of a bad shot.âÂ
His words surprised you, since he wanted to be an aviator and fly missions in a fighter jet, and that definitely required him to be a good shot, especially in the air. And you could tell that he was also embarrassed as his neck turned a bit red at his revelation. âReally? I mean, I might be wrong, but donât you want to join the military? Or are you just a really good liar and only said that to impress me?â
Your words were playful and teasing as you took it upon yourself to pick up the gun. Bradley rolled his eyes as he nodded, âYeah, yeah, Iâm working on it, I just-â he was promptly cut off when you aimed and fired one shot at the center of each target without batting an eye.Â
When you turned to face him again, you nearly cackled at the look of complete shock on your boyfriendâs face. âYou just what?â You asked, casually setting the gun down as he gaped at you.Â
âHow did youâŚâ he trailed off, his eyes flickering between your own and the targets. âYou justâŚIâm sorry, but at the risk of sounding like a complete jackass, how the fuck did you do that?â
You laughed, leaning up to press a kiss to his scarred cheek as he stared at you with a mix of surprise and something else, something stronger, and you werenât sure if it was what you thought it was. âThat? That was easy, flyboy,â you grinned, taking the stuffed goose from the teenaged boy that was running the game booth (who also looked equally as surprised as Bradley did). âHere, I won this for you.â
His gaze flickered down to the stuffed animal, and that same look was in his eyes when he looked back up at you and took it. âYouâre perfect,â he mumbled, wrapping his arms around you as he kissed you, subtly guiding you away from the booth so the next person could shoot their shot. Bradley kissed you over and over again, the stuffed goose you won him pressed against your back as he held you close to him, his other hand cradling the back of your neck. âYouâre absolutely perfect, and I think Iâm gonna marry you one day.â
You laughed against his mouth, pulling away as you blushed, his words doing a real number on you. âYou think?â You teased, lacing your fingers with his as you snuggled into his side. Before he could say anything, your eyes caught sight of the cotton candy cart, and you were tugging him along with you as he clutched the goose like it was porcelain.Â
A few minutes later, you were standing in line for the ferris wheel, a pink cotton candy cone in your hand as you fed handfuls of it to Bradley, who had what seemed to be a permanent love-struck expression on his face. âYouâre pretty,â he mumbled suddenly and you snorted.
âWhat has gotten into you? I won a stuffed animal for you and now youâre all clingy and smiley,â you observe, tossing the cardboard cone into the trashcan as you moved further up the line. âItâs sexy, donât get me wrong, but what did I do to deserve it?â
Bradley raised his brow at you as he answered, âYou won me a goose,â
It didnât make much sense to you - the only reason you wanted to play that game was to win him the goose because of his dad, but if it made him happy, then you would stop questioning it.Â
When you got to the front of the line, the guy operating the ferris wheel had to confiscate Bradleyâs goose in case he dropped it or something, and you had never seen him glare so hard at a total stranger before.Â
You were holding back a laugh as you got strapped in, and had to bury your face against his arm. âThat guyâs just trying to do his job and keep us safe and youâre glaring at him,âÂ
Bradley turned to look at you with an unimpressed expression on his face, and you laughed harder at the way his lips curved downwards. âHe took my goose,â
âHe had to,â you pointed out once the wheel started moving. âAnd youâll get it back. Jesus, I didnât think youâd like it this much.âÂ
âAre you kidding?â he asked, draping his arm around you as the ferris wheel moved even more. âBabes, you make me so fucking happy with everything you do. You listen, you actually care about me, and you remember things that most wouldnât think twice about. Iâm crazy about you.â
Well, now you wish you werenât sixty feet in the air, because all you wanted to do was crawl on his lap and kiss him senseless. He was so fucking sweet.Â
You couldnât exactly crawl onto his lip right now, but you could definitely kiss him, so thatâs what you did.Â
Leaning over, you pressed your lips to his in a searing kiss, taking him by surprise this time as you gripped his jaw with your fingers. You werenât sure how many kisses youâve shared with him since he picked you up, and you didnât care. Kissing him felt so good, so right, and you never wanted to stop doing it.
And from the way Bradley kissed you right back, you could tell that he didnât want to stop doing it either.Â
Once you were back on the ground, and after Bradley promptly grabbed his goose back from the ferris wheel operator, he guided you over to the ring toss game, then shoved the stuffed animal into your hand. âYou got to show off earlier,â he said, twirling the rings around his finger before smirking over at you. âItâs my turn.â
You raised your brow, holding back a laugh as you turned and watched him toss the rings onto the bottles with very little effort. And he won. âOkay,â you started, turning to face him again with squinted eyes. âYou tell me you have bad aim, but you managed to win this? How does that make any sense?âÂ
Bradley shrugged, keeping his eyes on you as he was handed his prize. âI donât know,â he answered. âI have no idea how I just did that. And I still want to know why youâre such a good shot.âÂ
You laughed, then looked at what he was holding, and laughed again. âWow, you won a fish,âÂ
He looked down at the bag in his hand, a dumb grin on his face when he handed it to you and took back his goose. âYou won a fish, actually,â he corrected, âI won a goose.â
You narrowed your eyes as you shook your head. âThatâs not at all what actually happened, but youâre hot so Iâll let it slide,â you mumbled, then looked at the bag with a small little red fish inside of it. âPoor thing. Itâs cute though.â
Bradley raised a brow as he looked at the fish as well. âI mean, I guess so,â
You gave him an unimpressed look. âThatâs not very nice, especially since weâre itâs parents now,â you say, and both his brows shot up as he let out a surprised laugh.Â
âOh, are we?â he grunted, draping his arm around your shoulders as he started leading you to the exit. You were joking, and were also kind of serious, but also didnât want to weird him out. But before you could say anything else, he continued, âWell, if thatâs the case, it needs a name then.â
Your smile grew a few sizes at that, because not only had he not been weirded out, but he played along. âWell,â you trailed off, looking at the fish as he walked you through the dark parking lot. When your eyes caught sight of the âFâ written in sharpie on the side of the bag, you grinned. âHer name will beâŚBB.â
âBB?â Bradley laughed, his free hand fumbling around in his pocket for his keys.Â
âYep,â you nodded, âBB Bradshaw.â
âAlright,â Bradley mumbled once you were right next to the red Jeep. âWhat does that stand for?âÂ
You leaned against the passenger side door, a teasing smirk on your face. âBad Bitch Bradshaw,â you answered, trying to ignore the jolt of heat that shot through your body when he braced his forearm against the window above your head. He was so hot, and he didnât even know it. âObviously.âÂ
Bradley hummed, âObviously,â before leaning down and giving you what felt like your hundredth kiss of the night. âCome on, babes. Iâm taking you home.â He mumbled, then his lips found yours in another deep kiss, this one much longer.

Tomorrowâs promise
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x reader
Warnings: Swearing
Chapter: 4.07
The more you got to know the people who saved you, the more you understood why they saved you. Abraham explained that he and Rosita are on a mission to get their companion doctor Eugene Porter to Washington, DC, safely because Eugene knew how to stop the virus and Abraham wanted you to join them. What they were doing was courageous, but you needed to find your family.
You look over at Glenn who was carrying Jace and nod appreciatively. You, him, and Tara were taking turns holding him to try and keep the strain off your shoulder.
The atmosphere is awkward as you walk in almost complete silence. Abraham and Glenn got into a physical fight because Abraham made a comment saying Maggie was most likely already dead, and the noise from the fight attracted a horde of walkers. While five of you fought, the walkers off Eugene tried to help, but the accident ended up shooting the army rank several times, causing it to stop working, which meant the only option now was to travel by foot.
Abraham slows his pace to walk beside you; he nods his head in the direction of Glenn. âHeâs a persistent son of a bitch, I get while youâre following him.â
âIâm not following him just to help find Maggie. Our people were more than just someone to survive with; we are a family. My brother, nephew, and Daryl are still out there, along with the rest of our friends. Me and Glenn canât stop looking for them.â
âDo you really think youâll find them?â
You donât answer his question. The last few days have been hectic, and you couldnât allow yourself to think that you wonât ever find them.
Abraham changes the subject. âI didnât have you down as a hunter, but damn those squirrels you caught last night went down a treat. Your father taught you to hunt?â
A small smile pulls on your lips. You found hunting extremely difficult morally, but when Daryl had his arms wrapped around you to show you what to do... It was the safest youâve felt in a king town. âNo, Daryl taught me to hunt skin and gut animals, so you can thank him when we find him. I used to be vegan before the world went to shit.â
He laughs, âWell, those days are long now.â
Abraham was right; you ate whatever was possible now.
You make polite small talk and learn more about the mission until Tara starts laughing. âI canât believe I still have this,â she pulls a wallet out of her jacket pocket. She chuckles to herself while opening it up, âThree dollars and an expired voucher for grocery shopping.â
âNever know, it could go up on a museum wall one day.â
Her smile fades when she pulls a Polaroid photo out of one of the slips. Tara goes to say something, but her breathing becomes shaky. âI never saw her after... I kept thinking she might have ended up like my sister, or sheâs alone and hurt, orâŚâ
Glenn gives her a sympathetic look. âWho is she?â
âMy girlfriend Alisha... I think I saw her body at the prison, but the more I think about it, the more Iâm unsure if it was her.â
You understood how awful not knowing where everyone was felt. With the attention of somehow trying to comfort her, you walk closer but come to an abrupt halt when you see the picture sheâs holding. You feel warm, a painful knot forming in your stomach. Taraâs girlfriend was the woman who put Hershel on his knees; she was the woman you shot and killed at the prison.
â
When night falls, you take turns keeping watch, and right now it was currently your turn. Abraham picked a spot that was surrounded by thick trees and bushes, keeping you out of view of anyone who may walk by the train tracks. You had bundled Jace up in a T-shirt and your jacket to keep him warm. Your back was pressed against a tree so you could securely place him between your legs.
You let out a deep sigh. Rosita, Eugene, and Abraham had all fallen asleep while Tara and Glenn spoke quietly. Finding the picture earlier had really upset the brunette, and you felt so guilty that she was continuing to torture herself by imagining all the different things that could have happened to Alisha. If it was someone you cared about, youâd want to know the truth.
âTara, I need to tell you something. I... I, Alisha, she's gone. Sheâs dead.â
The look in her eyes, she knew. She knew it was you before you'd even told her. âHow would you know that?â
âI killed her.â
Tara blinks away her tears, then shoots you a death glare. âYou killed my girlfriend?â
âI didnât know who she was, not until I saw the photo earlier.â
âSo you just killed someone and didnât think about them again?â Tara scoffs; she shakes her head and looks away from you. âWhy are you telling me this?â
âHershel was a good man. He was a stranger who saved my nephew's life. He let us into his home. Your girlfriend dragged Hershel, an old man with one fucking leg, from the back of a car and forced him to kneel on the ground to be slaughtered by that sociopath in front of his own daughters!â Your vision becomes blurry with tears. âWhen I came face to face with her, I didnât think twice about killing her, and no, I didnât think about her again, not until I knew who she was. Iâve only told you so that you wouldnât spend the rest of your life wondering what happened to her.â
She takes a moment to process everything youâve just said. âIf you could, would you have done things differently?â
âI found my baby alive next to the body of a boy who had been shot in the chest. Some asshole who attacked us in our own home put a goddamn bullet in a child and then continued to attack my people.â Using the sleeve of your jacket, you wipe at your eyes and nose. âI donât know who killed him, but I donât regret doing everything I could to stop my son from being one of those kids.â
Silence falls over the camp; nobody dares say anything. Tara walks off, and Glenn follows her. Feeling eyes on you, you turn your head to see Rosita, Abraham, and Eugene staring at you.
â
The next morning, everyone remains quiet as a mouse as you continue to follow the trail tracks. The only real noise was Jace babbling while you tried to get him to say mom or mommy. You decided it was best if you hanged back from the others, just close enough that you wouldnât fall behind.
Glenn looks and observes you for a moment before slowing his pace to match yours. âCan I ask you something? Itâs about Jace.â
âSure.â
âDid Hershel ever check his ears out?â
âHe did," you didnât like thinking about it. âHershel thought Jaceâs eardrums got damaged from being exposed to so many gunshots and explosions when he was first born, but itâs hard to know for sure. He thinks his right side is more damaged than the left.â
Glennâs brows pull together with confusion. âHowâs that possible?â
âMaybe a gun went off on his right side... I should have done more toââ
âDonât,â Glenn cuts you off. âEverything you do is for him.â
â
You canât help but smile proudly at Jace; hearing him say mom filled your heart with so much warmth. You kiss his cheeks multiple times and say, âIâm so proud of you, little man.â
Daryl and Rick would be so proud.
You look from Jace to see what was in front of you, and you gasp in surprise. There was a wooden post with a map pinned to it, leading the way to a location called Terminus.
âHoly shit,â the map had a message written on mud left on it. âGlenn, Glenn. Itâs a message from Maggie. Her, Bob and Sasha are alive.â
âOh my god!â He comes up to look for himself and notices you are crying; he kisses you on the cheek. âIf they are alive, then so will the rest of our people.â
Tears of happiness brim in your eyes; all you needed to do now was make it to Terminus.

Red - wearer is willing to perform a lap dance
Eddie Munson may be the freak of Hawkins, but he is your best friend. Who is always willing to teach you new things, even when you get new bracelets from your cousin. Eddie will even go as far as teaching & showing you what each one means.
"Oh get out of here Eddie. I don't feel like doing anything today." I pulled the covers over my head, trying to ignore him as he tried to hank the covers away from my bed.
"The is shining. The birds are singing." I snorted at him, loudly.
"You must be high Eddie. It is raining out, and there are no birds singing."
"I am not that high, and you know it. Come on. I rented some movies, got pizza on the way. Lets get you out of bed and into that living room to watch some movies.
I didn't move.
I heard him sigh. "I even rented Flashdance."
I pushed the covers down, and looked at Eddie's handsome face to see if he was lying.
"Show me." I demanded.
Him, knowing me so well, pulled it out of his inner coat pocket, and I couldn't help but squeal as I saw that he wasn't lying.
"Now will you get out of bed, and watch the movies?" He asked one last time, and I was already getting out of the bed, rushing past him to get my favourite spot on the couch.
The movie was almost over, half of the candy was gone and there were still a slice of pizza.
I knew Eddie was bored, but I know he is watching this for me.
His arm is on the back of the couch behind me as I am leaning against his side, just like we have always done.
"You know if you stuck with dancing, you probably would have gotten out of this shit hole town." Eddie said, grabbing a handful of popcorn.
"Please. I stopped just before high-school, and I am glad I did. The teacher was creepy." And she really was.
Her husband was also creepy as well.
"You still remember any moves?" Eddie questioned me, which I responded by nodding my head yes as I took a sip of Pepsi.
"Enough to do a lap dance?"
"I didn't do that type of dancing Munson." I pointed out.
"Well, now you know what I am asking for." He snapped the red one
Wearer is willing to perform a lap dance.
"When do you want this?"
"I think now may be a good time. I even got a song picked out." He said smugly, as I pushed off the couch.
"Fine. Get in my room." He hopped up, and ran to my room.
I went to the laundry room and grabbed a pair of clean, lacy red panties, along with it's matching bra and put it on and fixed my hair just a bit.
As I am walking through the living room, I grabbed his discarded jacket and drapped it over my shoulders, knowing this would drive him wild.
"Start the music Eddie." I called out, and the moment I heard the music playing, and of course it is AC/DC. None the less, I opened the door, and Eddie was sitting in my vanity chair, almost looking a bit too relaxed, but he looked good.
His legs were spread and his hands were on his lap.
He saw me and his mouth dropped open as I took a few steps in my room, closing the door behind me.
His eyes trailed up and down my body.
He gave me the confidence to get me through this.
My hands trailed up and down my body, my hips moving back and forth to the beat.
I turned around, bending over slightly for him to get a good look at my ass, and as I looked over my shoulder, biting my lip I could see him adjust himself in his jeans.
I reached up and took the bra off, and putting his coat on fully now.
I turned around and his eyes were drawn to the bra in my hand, and it dawned on him that his favourite jacket is touching my breasts.
I flung the bra at his face, and he instantly grabbed the bra and put it around his neck as I moved towards him.
I smiled at Eddie as I circled around him, my arms rubbing his shoulders and touching his chest.
He reached up to touch me, but I slapped his hands away, making him pout.
"No touching, Eddie."
I placed my hands at the back of his neck as I lowered my body so we are making eye contact.
Eddie licked his lips nervously, and I watched nothing more than kiss him, but I held off.
The music faded as I turned my body to face away from Eddie, leaning forward as I sat down his lap.
I moaned softly at hard he is.
I reached behind me as I leaned back, my fingers playing with his hair as I moved back and forth, then rolling my hips in a circle motion.
"Fuck." I heard him say behind me.
I grinded my ass against him, my hands now gripping his thighs.
I needed to see him, so I got up and turned around to sit back in his lap once more, continuing gyrating my hips once more.
I grabbed Eddie's hands and moved them up and down my body, listening to soft moans fall from his lips.
Our faces were close and he leaned in to kiss me, and I pretended to lean in to kiss him as well, until I pulled away and stood up, knowing the song is about to end soon.
I ran my hands up and down my body as I closed my eyes, wishing it was Eddie.
I turned my body, bending down to touch the floor as I stand between his spread legs, my ass against his cock as I grinded my ass against him.
I felt him wrap his arms around me and I was about to say no touching once more, as he turned me around and slammed his mouth against mine, moaning into the kiss as he was muttering against my lips.
"Need you. Please let me have you." Eddie as he grinding his cock against me, making me gasp.
"Yes, please Eddie." Was all I needed to say before he was walking me backwards towards my bed, and gently pushing me back to lay on it.
I looked at him, and he looked at me as he was just about to undress when there was a loud knock on my bedroom door.
"You two want some tacos? I made tacos." Robin excitedly called out, instantly killing the mood.
"Be out there in a second." Eddie called back, through clenched teeth.
âŁď¸
"My place. Tonight. Wayne is working and no one will bother us." He kissed me one last time as he opened the door and shut it behind him.

Hawkins Confidential 2
Part 1
The last time Eddie had seen Steve, theyâd been young and stupid and with a pup on the way. The last time he had ever heard about him was when Chrissy told him the pup had been born, healthy and beautiful. Eddie had tried not to think about either of them since then. And most days, he succeeded. He thought heâd gotten over thinking about what could have been but he couldnât help that fragile kind of hope trying to bubble forth as he packed a light duffle and got into his truck.Â
He drove and drove for hours and hours, memories coming forth without his permission as the miles spread out.
âI should make you get rid of it! You think that just because you whore around you can do whatever you want?!â, Richard Harrington jabbed a finger towards his son.
Eddie pushed between them, just barely holding his teeth back from snapping that finger off. But his fangs were bare. âYou canât fucking talk to him like that!â
âYou stay out of this mutt!â
âWhat a piece of shitâ, Eddie said to himself as he got closer and closer to his old hometown. He remembered where the Harrington estate was. He could have driven right up to it. But he needed some liquid courage before he did that. And the odds of him being allowed to rest in one of the dozens of guest rooms was slim, so heâd need a motel too.
After procuring a room, he walked down Main Street, not at all surprised to see that very little had changed in the years since heâd been gone. It was a small town, after all. With small minded people. But it was noon and the bar was in sight.
âYouâve got a lot of nerve, showing your face around here, Munson.â
âWhy Jason Carver, what a delightâ, Eddie said. Heâd spotted Jason across the street and hoped he could have made it into the bar unnoticed. No such luck. And of course, he had his cronies with him.
âYou have some nerve.â
âYouâve said that already. All these years and you havenât rehearsed a decent script?â
âWhy the hell are you back in town?â, Jason demanded to know.
âPersonal businessâ, Eddie looked down at his nails.
âHeâs probably here to go digging for gold now that old Harringtonâs deadâ, one of the cronies said. If Eddie remembered right, his name was Andy. How pathetic.
âThatâs rightâ, Jason said like he just remembered. âWith him gone, you can go sniffing around Steve again.â
âThatâs none of your business.â
âThen Iâm right. You are here for Steve.â
âHeâs the only one in this town worth a visit, so sue me.â
Jason was annoying. But he wasnât really worth Eddieâs time. Heâd never been. It was just the circumstances of sharing such a small space that forced them to butt heads but as long as Eddie kept his cool-
âYou and that whore are meant for each other.â
Eddie saw red, then suddenly Jason was on the ground, holding his face as more red spilled out onto the sidewalk.
-------------------------
Eddie was used to being handled by cops and being taken down to the precinct, which was sorry to say. It was even more sorry to say that he had no one to call. Chrissy came to pick Jason up and her eyes widened to see Eddie, though he knew Jason must have told her about him when he phoned her.
But she reigned in her expression as she collected her husband. Eddie wished it was easy to talk with her. He wished they had that freedom. But they had both learned to stay within their boundaries. Eddie was resigning himself to a night spent in lock up when someone came by and opened up the cell.
âMunson, youâre being released.â
Bewildered, Eddie got up, wondering if Chrissy had somehow returned. He froze mid step when he saw his benefactor. Steve looked just as beautiful as the day Eddie had left him. And he looked positively angelic in that cream colored sweater. Eddie swallowed. He hadnât thought about what heâd say because what was there to say? Everything he came up with sounded too small to encompass everything heâd felt since the call. Since they parted, really.
Steve fixed that by stomping right up to Eddie. âYouâre a complete idiot, you know that? Causing trouble the moment you return?â Only as the words left his mouth did Steve seem to realize what he said and he shrank back. âIâm sorry. Thatâs not what I wanted to say right out the gate. You never called back and I didnât know you were coming.â
âStevieâ, Eddie said, the nickname falling from his lips much too easily for what they were supposed to be. He cupped Steveâs cheek and swooned from how the omega melted into it. âI missed you.â
Steve closed his eyes, savoring it before pulling back. âCome.â
Eddie followed him outside to the car and with a couple of seatbelt clicks they were on their way.Â
âIâve got a room, so you donât need to worry about meâ, he said.
âOh, um, well thatâs good. Thatâs good.â Steve didnât know why he expected any different. There was no way in hell Tommy would ever allow Eddie to stay under their roof.
âSo, what have you been up to?â, Steve asked.
Eddie chuckled. âAre you really trying small talk right now?â
âWe havenât spoken in years. Iâm genuinely curious.â
âNothing extravagant. Iâm just about a dayâs drive away. I work as a mechanic. Where are you driving us anyway?â
âBack to the houseâ, Steve said. âI know you have a room, but I figured youâd want to get settled some kind of way.â
âTake me to our sonâ, Eddie said.
Steve swallowed and Eddie put his hand on top of his on the gear shift. Steve changed their route to that of the hospital. Eddie braced himself as they got up to the room, but nothing could have prepared him for what he saw. A boy that was a perfect mix of him and Steve. His curls with Steveâs chesnut brown.Â
âHis name is Dustinâ, Steve said. âAnd he needs an operation. Youâre the only one who can help him. I know itâs a lot to ask. I know that. But my pup is my world. And heâs hanging on by a thread. He needs you, Eddie.â
âHow long has he been like this?â, Eddie asked.
âHeâs been in that bed for a few months. But heâs had problems before that.â
Eddie tore his eyes away from Dustin to look at Steve. âWhy did it take you so long to-your father?â
âHe didnât want me to contact you. Not for anything. And Tommy only allowed it because of the conditions of my fatherâs will. He canât inherit anything without an heir. If Dustin doesnât recover then heâs going to-â Steve choked out a hiccup, suddenly overcome with what his life had become.
Eddie went over to Steve and embraced him, holding him as tight as he wished all these years. So many things missed. Birthdays, holidays, his pupâs first word, and steps, and all that came with the formative years of childhood. He was old enough that heâd be presenting in a few years. But Eddie didnât blame Steve, he never would. The only ones to blame were the ones who held control over his life.Â
âSpeaking of-â
âKindly unhand my mate, Munson.â
Steve backed away as if he were burnt and he went to Dustinâs side, avoiding Tommyâs glare. Eddie put his hands in his pockets and took in Tommy. He seemed mostly unchanged, if just puffing out his chest a bit more. He didnât know if that came from finally attaining Steve or because the alpha above him had passed. Either way, Eddie couldnât help himself.
âWell these tables have turned. Looks like you need my help, Hagan.â
âItâs Harrington, actuallyâ, Tommy crossed his arms. âAnd I donât need you for anything. Steve is the one still holding onto that boy. I told him that if Dustin doesnât get better, we need another heir.â
Eddie stomped towards Tommy, about to swing when the doctor entered the room. Steveâs distress and Eddieâs irritation hung in the air. Eddie quickly pulled it back so that the doctor could explain the situation. She asked if Eddie was ready and prepared for the operation and he confirmed it. There was paperwork to be done but a tentative date was set for next week. When they finished, Steve stood, ready to take Eddie back to his motel.
âWhere the hell do you think youâre going?â, Tommy asked, gripping Steveâs forearm tight.
âI drove him here, I need to drop him off.â
âThat riff-raff can get a cab. Iâm not leaving you alone around him.â
Steve scoffed and was about to protest, wrenching his arm from Tommyâs hold when Eddie cleared his throat.Â
âIâll be fine, Steve. Donât worry about me.â He got closer to Dustinâs bedside and leaned over to kiss his forehead. He also scented him subtly, glad when he only smelled Steveâs lingering scent. âIâll be back to visit himâ, he promised before making his exit. Then he paused. âBefore I head out, howâd you know where to find me? You didnât even know I was in town yet.â
Steve swallowed. âChrissy told me.â
Eddie smiled. Of course. He nodded towards Steve and completely ignored Tommy as he walked out.Â
-----------------------
Carol was in the middle of primping when she heard the front door open.
âHoney, Iâm home!â
âWelcome home, Andyâ, she called back, smiling when he entered the bathroom and kissed the back of her head.
âDid you hear? Munson came back into town and decked Jason.â
Carol prided herself in knowing everything that went down in this town. But even she never imagined that man would come back after being run out all those years ago.
âReally? Does Steve know?â
Andy shrugged, rolling up his sleeves. âDonât know. But things are probably gonna get interesting.â
âOh Iâm sure~â Carol couldnât wait. She applied some lipstick and turned her head from right to left before giving herself a satisfied expression in the mirror.
âMeeting your girlfriends again? Itâs kind of late, isnât it?â
âOh itâs barely eight. Weâre not old fuddy-duddies you know. Valencia left you a plate in the fridge. Donât wait up, us girls can gab.â
She kissed his cheek and then she was out the door. Ostensibly to go to Heatherâs house for some wine and gossip. They did plenty of that but instead Carol drove herself to an inn. And waiting for her in one of the rooms was one Tommy Harrington.
âI heard that old thorn in your side is backâ, Carol grinned.
âI donât even wanna talk about that trash. The sooner this operationâs done, the sooner heâs outta my hairâ, Tommy paced about, agitated while Carol poured them both drinks. She didnât look at all bothered as she handed a glass of brandy to him.
âWell he is going through with the operation, isnât he?â
âYeahâ, Tommy said before taking a large gulp. âItâs happening next week.â
Carol took a small sip from her own glass. âThen thereâs nothing to worry about. He gets that pup in shape, you inherit everything Richard left for you and then you can kick Steve and his little bastard to the curb. Itâll be all yours.â
Tommy smirked. âAll ours.â
Their glasses clinked conspiratorially. Tommy downed the rest of his own and Carol set hers down just in time for him to lift her up and toss her onto the bed.Â

Part.1
â˘Masterlistâ˘
Song Suggestion: Heartbeat by Nessa Barrett
Hopping down from the wolf I make my way closer to the house but before I can enter strong warm arms wrap around me I know who it is instantly
âPaulâ I choke out before crumbling to the ground in tears for the second time this night , the cold ground meeting my knees his arms still secure around my hips hind chest pressing against my back hearing his cries along with mine
âWhy did you leave meâ I scream letting myself feel everything Iâve gone through the last month
âIâm so sorry Angel, please give me a chance to explainâ
âBut you hurt me so badlyâ my cries settling a bit seeing Sam and Emily come out the house worried
âPlease Iâll do anything pleaseâ he was begging and he never begged, I nodded warily, he picked me up effortlessly and brought me into the house setting me back on the couch Emily and Sam lingering near obviously knowing whatâs going on
âIs this normal Sam? For the bond to cause her these emotions to such an extent?â Paul asked from over his shoulder as he was kneeled infront of me his hands never leaving mine
âThe bond can cause despair when separated but to this extent for her to be physically ill must mean you have a much deeper connection than just the bond, you canât leave her again Paul we donât know what could happenâ the talked like I wasnât right here and they made no sense
âWhatâre you guys talking about, you said youâd explainâ
âI will butâŚâŚ.y/n how could you try to kill yourself, that wouldâve devastated everyone, to lose the most precious being to walk this townâ
âIt was too much Paul, with you gone and Bella being preoccupied by Edward and Jacob with Bella I was alone and it just grew the pit in my heartâ I sighed feeling the emotions of the day finally drain me
âNever again, Iâll never leave but what Iâm going to tell you is gonna be a lotâ
He told me everything, how he and Sam were wolves how it ran in their blood and only came out when vampires appeared, their truce with the cullens how I had to keep everything a secret, but most of all how I was Paulâs imprint and why he had to stay away to protect me
Everything suddenly made sense but it didnât make it hurt any less
âAre you okay Angel?â Paul asked after the long pause that lingered in the air
I sucked in a quick sharp breath just registering everything
âBut what now, will I get better, what about us whatâre we now?â
âYouâll get better in time as long as we keep seeing eachother, and like I said Iâll be anything you need, your best friend, your protector, your boyfriendâ
âI wanna be with you Paul, I canât lie about it anymore, itâs always been you since day oneâ his warm hand caressed my cheek making some of the pain go away
âI knew it would always be you, but you have to promise to never do what you almost did tonight, even though I hate those blood suckers Iâm glad he saved you in time, cause Iâm never letting you go againâ his head pressed against mine our lips so close
âI love you Paulâ
âI love you too alwaysâ
Get home at 12 am felt different, my conscience was clear once again, me and Paul stand in the back yard as he walked me home I guess, I rode on his back as he walked in his wolf form, it was all crazy really, my best friend a shapeshifting wolf
âCan you stay the night maybe? I just donât want you to go just yetâ i ask fiddling with his fingers
âYou go up to your room open the window Iâll be upâ
I ran up the stairs as lightly as I could in hope to not disturb dad or Bella who was probably accompanied by Edward, then being vampires didnât scare me atleast not them they were nice especially alice Jasper and Emmett
I flipped on my lamp and opened the window looking down to see Paul quickly climbing up the house and right through the window
âSo youâre super human tooâ
âStill got your humourâ he smiles as he huffs spreading out in my bed like usual when he comes over
Changing into pajamas and joining him in bed, it wasnât weird weâve been doing this kind of thing since kids
âIâve missed thisâ I sighed curling up into his radiating warmth compared to the cold sheets that replaced him when he was gone
âYou have no idea how much I wanted to come to you every night and make sure you were okay, it killed to have to stay away from my mate, my best friendâ he sighed running his hands through my hair
âYouâll be here when I wake up right?â Worried heâll be gone and this was all just a dream
âAlwaysâ
And he was for the rest of my life he was there every morning

Idea came because @floofysashimi shared the title photo.
"Okay, okay, that is enough practice for today." Our drummer & backup singer, Rhea called out as I sighed, hanging my head as I gripped my guitar a bit too tight for my liking.
"We still have a few hours left until we should call it quits." The electronic keyboard player, Dominik said as he wrapped his arms around our other backup singer, Liv's waist, pulling her against his side.
Our Bass player, Finn was only walking off with some groupies.
"We will be back here tomorrow for the music video." I called out, already regretting doing this music video.
I didn't want too, but our manger insisted that our band Judgement Day, should.
"You good Damian?" Rhea asked me as she walked up to me.
She is the only one who knows me better than I know myself.
People thought we were together, but we are actually just really good friends. Her husband is a good guy, and will randomly travel with us on the road.
"Just don't think those three give a fuck about this anymore. Finn is always late and wondering where his next lay will come from, and don't get me started on Dominik and Liv."
"Okay, calm down there big fella. Let's go out and have some fun. Maybe a few hours at the club will ease your stress." Rhea suggested.
"Buddy meeting us?" Knowing she only goes out when he is in town.
"Yeah, got us in the VIP section at XS Las Vegas."
"Fine. I'll go. Just to see what the fuss is about with it. I have heard about it."
The music was loud, the woman were all over me like usual, but I know what they are after. Just one night with me to brag to all of their friends about spending the night with Damian Priest, lead singer of Judgement Day.
Rhea and Buddy were all over one another, as were Dominik and Liv.
The four of them were making me almost nauseated, so I decided to leave tbe VIP section and head outside to grab some fresh air.
But as I did that, I walked right into someone, my arms wrapping around them to keep from falling.
Their hands are laying on my chest and I was about to ask if they were okay as I looked down and for once in my life, no words came to me as I looked down at the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.
I saw them mouth, "Are you okay?" And all I could do was nod my head yes.
I leaned down to whisper in their ear, "Can I buy you a drink?" They nodded their head yes, and the two of us walked back to the bar for me to replace the drink I spilled.
â
I brought her back to the VIP section, and the only thing I caught was her name before we started to make out.
I pulled her into my lap, not caring for once if people were taking photos of me, as I wanted everyone to know that I have the most beautiful woman in my arms, kissing me as she grinded her body on top of me.
"Come back to my hotel room." I muttered against the kiss, making her whine my name before agreeing.
The two of us left my band members behind, her hand in mine as walked us out of the club and to the Uber that is waiting outside for us.
â
I woke up the morning, with her gone, with only a few things to remind me of her.
Her lipstick stained against my skin.
The indents of where she dug her nails into my skin.
I licked my lips, groaning at the faint taste of her pussy still lingering on my lips, as I ate her out until she pushed me away, begging for me to fuck her.
Her gasps and moans echoing in mind as I started the shower.
I looked over my body, looking over all the little marks she left on me, and then my eyes were focused on my cock.
Her bouncing in my lap flashed before my eyes and I groaned at the thought of how tight her fucking pussy was. How it felt like it was trying to strangle my cock.
Then I noticed the red stain on my cock, remembering how she applied her lipstick once more just before she sucked me off.
Her eyes closed as she took me down her throat and then how her eyes teared up as I fucked her face until I came, groaning her name as I felt her swallow it all.
When I pulled back from her mouth, she smiled at me, opening her mouth to prove that it was all gone.
All I could do was moan as I picked her up to throw her on the bed, crawling between her thighs and fucking her into the mattress until her body wash shaking and my cum leaking out of her abused pussy.
The alarm on my phone brought me back down to earth, making me swear under my breath as I hopped into the shower, washing away our night together.
â
"Places everyone. We will film just the band, and then the model will come after." The director called out from his seat.
"Not even the makeup crew could get rid of that hickey on your chest huh?" Rhea teased me as she walked past me.
"I see someone had a good time." Finn said next to me, lifting his sunglasses and wincing at the lights, before placing them back on.
"Okay, yes, I had a good time. Not let's get this done and over with." I said, loudly.
"You gonna see her again?" Liv asked me, as she stood next to Dominik.
"Most likely not. Only caught her first name."
"Once again, please people. Good good. Dim the lights. Good, good, action."
Time to get this day started.
â
"Okay, bring out the girls." I gringed when the director called them that.
I could hear the sound of their heels and boots walking this way, and I was talking to Finn about what we are going to do next, when I heard the Director call for us to take our places once more.
I was assigned one model who would I would jump off the stage for and pretend to dance with as the music played around us.
"Damian, you see her, the one right in the middle, you were jump down and walk to her, okay."
I looked over at who he was pointing at, and I almost chocked on my spit.
It was her.
The woman from last night.
Her and I made eye contact, and her eyes got real wide as she saw me standing there, looking at her.
"She is gorgeous. Your manager picked good." The Director whistled, but stopped when he saw me turn my gaze to him.
He cleared his throat and told us to start.
I stood in my spot, watching her, to make sure she didn't disappear like she did this morning.
â
The music was playing as I mouthed the words to the song I wrote.
It is time for me to jump off the stage and walk towards her, the other people fading into the background as the room went dark, except for her and I.
She pretended to walk away, but I pulled her back towards me, her hands landing on my chest just like yesterday when we met.
I placed my hand under her chin for her to look at me, as my other arm pulled her flush against my body.
Her perfume making me groan to myself before I kissed her, which wasn't in the script for the video, but the director kept rolling until the music faded away, the two of us still making out with everyone around us.
"I think we got it. All done for the day everyone. Good job."
People clapped around us, as I pulled my lips away from her, her eyes were half-closed as she looked up at me.
"Damian? We will meet up with you later." Rhea called out, pulling Dominik and Finn with her, with Liv most likely giggling.
"Come back with me again, or if you are hungry, we can go out to eat." I asked her once more.
"Damian, it was fun for one night, but it wouldn't work between us." She said.
"Why not?"
"You travel and I do as well. We wouldn't see eachother."
"Then come back for one last night together. I can't get you out of my head." I was honest with her.
"One more night, Damian."
â
As I sat on our private plane, I looked out the window as I watched the video I recorded of us, the sounds of our love making going directly to my ears through my headphones.
"Just like that Damian. Fuck." She cried out as I rutted into her from behind, my cock buried in her pussy as I pushed her head into the mattress, her head turned towards the camera.
Her screaming out my name as she came, her pussy fluttering around my cock as she pulled an orgasm from my body.
I watched myself reach for my phone to zoom on her pussy, which was leaking my cum.
I watched another video of me between her spread thighs, her hand gripping my head as her other hand held the camera to record me eating her out.
Soft whines of my name I could hear as I ate her out, my eyes focused on her face, that I could not see on the camera.
Her body arched as she came, moaning loudly as ate her out and fingered her. I pulled my mouth away, and I could see my chin coated in her juices.
I licked my lips imaging the taste of her was still there.
Video after video played, and I had to go to the washroom to jerk off.
I watched my favourite video of all as I jerked myself off.
My phone was facing the bed as she rode me, her back arched and my hands on her hips as I helped her bounce in my lap.
As she came, she collapsed against my chest, her ass still bouncing in my lap as she used my cock to get off.
Then she got off of me and wrapped her lips around my cock just as I shouted out her name, my cum filling her mouth once more.
Her eyes were focused on my phone as she swallowed, kissing the tip as she moved her head away.
With grunt of her name, I came, not caring if anyone heard me. Wishing she was here, and not me jerking off on some private plane.
â
I invited her to our concerts, and she showed up whe she could.
Her backstage, watching me the whole entire time.
Us going back to whatever hotel I am staying at.
Until I was able to convince her to go out on a date with me.
Which brought the paparazzi, which I should have known would happen.
It was all over the internet and even in magazines the next day.
'The Rockstar and The Model. Will it last?' Seemed to be main question, which had me fuming.
"Come on Damian, who cares what they think. Come back to bed or I will have to start with out you." She teased from the bed.
"You wouldn't dare." I put down my phone just as she flung back the blankets, and I could see she had a dildo in her hand.
But not just any dildo, but the one I had made just for her, the exact copy of my cock.
"Go on baby, fuck yourself with it."
My hand wrapped around my cock as I watched her insert it in her pussy, her whining my name.
"That's it baby. Keep it there and turn around, hands and knees. I want to stuff you full." She did exactly what I asked as I stood.
Grabbing the lube from my bag and quickly lathering my cock with it, her spreading her ass as I got closer.
I groaned at the sight as I have already fucked her there today.
I slid into her ass, inch by agonising inch until I bottomed out.
"How do you feel baby?" I asked her as I kissed her between her shoulder blades.
"Full. So full Damian."
"Good." Was all I said before I started to thrust in and out of her ass.
â
Been four months of us dating and five months of us non-stop fucking.
We were once again in Vegas, and I was driving around with her next to me.
"You wanna get married?" I asked her, knowing she is the one for me.
"What? Right now?" She asked me, turning her body to look at me.
"Yeah, we pick a church and we get married."
"So romantic Damian." She teased. "But of course I will marry you."
We were married 45 minutes later, us driving off to the secluded cabin I rented, but I first had to pull off to the side of this empty, dirt road as I held her back of her head, as my hips thrust up into her mouth as she moaned around my cock.
"My wife is taking my cock so well down her throat. Like she was meant for me." I groaned as she was licking up and down my cock as I fucked her face.
My loud groan was her only warning as I came down her throat, the two of us moaning as she made qucik work to swallow.
I was breathing heavy as I let go of her hair and she sat up.
I smashed my mouth against hers, moaning at the fact that I can taste my cum on her lips.
"I love you my darling wife."
"I love you too, my sweet husband."

Can you please write a Louis imagine based on the song "Midnight Rain" by Taylor Swift?
sure love i hope you like it :)
Midnight rain
Louis Tomlinson imagine
Warnings: none
1.2k
The rain tapped softly against the window, a gentle rhythm that matched the beat of your restless thoughts. It was past midnight, the world outside cloaked in a moody darkness only broken by flickering streetlights. You sat on the edge of your bed, knees pulled to your chest, staring at the small shoebox in front of you. It was filled with memoriesâconcert tickets, Polaroid photos, a wristband from that music festival. Each piece was a fragment of a story you had lived with Louis.
You hadnât thought of him in a long time. Well, not like this. The kind of thinking that twisted your heart, made you question the choices youâd made all those years ago. But tonight, something in the airâmaybe the rain or the silenceâhad drawn you back to him.
It was Louisâ laugh you remembered first, that warm, raspy sound that could fill a room and make you feel like you belonged. He had been your sunshine, lighting up the dim corners of your life with his effortless charm and relentless optimism. You loved him fiercely, but you were different people, with different dreams. That was what had led to the goodbye that still lingered in the back of your mind like an unfinished melody.
Back then, you were all ambition and plans. You had a career mapped out, a city in your sights, and a hunger to become something bigger than the small-town life youâd both grown up in. Louis, on the other hand, had wanted stability. He craved a quiet life away from the spotlight, a home filled with love and laughter where the two of you could grow old together.
âIâll wait for you,â he had said that night, his blue eyes shimmering with unshed tears. âBut I wonât hold you back. If you need to chase this dream, I get it, love. I just hope... I hope you know what youâre giving up.â
You had cried too, your heart shattering even as you forced yourself to walk away. You told yourself it was the right decision, that you couldnât stay in a place where you felt like you were shrinking. But no matter how many miles you put between yourself and that small town, Louis was a constant echo, his voice a ghost that haunted the quiet moments.
Now, years later, the shoebox was evidence of a love youâd once known but tried to leave behind. You reached for a photo on top of the pileâa candid shot of Louis, grinning at you from across a picnic blanket. His messy hair caught the golden light of sunset, and his laugh seemed to leap out of the frame, pulling you back to that summer day.
A knock at your door startled you out of your reverie. You frowned. It was late, and you werenât expecting anyone. Hesitantly, you padded to the door, the chill of the wooden floor grounding you. When you opened it, your breath caught in your throat.
âLouis?â
There he was, standing on your doorstep, his hoodie soaked from the rain. His hands were shoved deep into his pockets, and his expression was a mixture of uncertainty and hope. The years had added a maturity to his face, but his eyesâthose familiar, stormy blue eyesâwere the same.
âHey, Y/N,â he said, his voice soft but tinged with the accent that had once made your heart flutter. âI, uh... I didnât mean to show up unannounced. I just... I was in town, and I couldnât stop thinking about you.â
You blinked, struggling to find your voice. âItâs been years, Louis. Why now?â
He chuckled, though it lacked his usual confidence. âI donât know. Maybe itâs the rain, or maybe Iâm just tired of wondering what couldâve been.â
Your heart clenched. He was standing there, offering you the chance to rewrite the ending youâd once been so sure of. But was it that simple? Could you undo the pain of the past?
âDo you want to come in?â you asked after a moment, stepping aside. He nodded, brushing past you with a damp chill that made the room feel smaller.
Louis looked around, his gaze landing on the shoebox on your bed. His lips quirked into a small smile. âStill have this, huh?â
You felt heat rise to your cheeks. âI guess I couldnât bring myself to get rid of it.â
He walked over, picking up one of the Polaroids. It was a picture of the two of you at the festival, your arms around each other, your faces flushed with happiness. âWe had something good, didnât we?â he murmured.
âWe did,â you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
Louis turned to you, his eyes searching yours. âDo you ever regret it? Leaving?â
You hesitated. âSometimes. But I needed to find myself, Louis. And I think you did too.â
He nodded, his shoulders relaxing slightly. âI get that. But Iâve never stopped missing you, Y/N. Not for a second.â
Tears pricked at your eyes. âI miss you too,â you said, the words tumbling out before you could stop them.
For a moment, the room was silent except for the sound of the rain. Then Louis reached for your hand, his touch grounding you like it always had. âWhat if we tried again?â he asked, his voice barely audible. âNo expectations, no pressure. Just... see where it goes?â
Your heart ached with the weight of possibilities. Maybe the timing had been wrong before, but now, standing here in the quiet hum of midnight, you wondered if the universe was giving you a second chance.
You didnât let go of his hand as you both sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the shoebox together. You laughed softly as you picked up the scruffy wristband from that festival. âRemember this? We were stuck in the rain for hours.â
âAnd you were furious because your hair got ruined,â Louis said, his voice filled with a teasing warmth. âBut you still danced with me in the mud.â
âBecause you wouldnât shut up until I did,â you replied, shaking your head but smiling.
âThatâs because I knew youâd regret it if you didnât. Dancing in the rain with youâyeah, thatâs one of my favorite memories.â
His words hung in the air, and you turned to look at him. There was something about the way he was looking at you now, as if no time had passed, as if the years of distance and heartbreak hadnât dimmed the way he felt.
âYou know,â you began, your voice faltering slightly, âI always thought about coming back. Iâd get as far as packing a bag, and then Iâd stop myself. I was scared it was too late.â
âItâs not too late,â Louis said firmly, his hand tightening around yours. âWe can take this slow, Y/N. Iâm not asking for promises, just... a chance.â
The rain outside slowed to a soft drizzle, the rhythm mirroring the gentle hope growing between you. You leaned your head against Louisâ shoulder, and for the first time in years, the ache in your chest began to ease.
âOkay,â you said softly. âLetâs see where it goes.â
Louis pressed a kiss to the top of your head, his voice low and full of relief. âI missed you, love. More than youâll ever know.â

đđŻđŹđŠđŹđ¤đ˛đ˘
Even the thick November foggy night couldnât hide me from them. My body was pressed against the cold concrete of a building, trying to conceal my cloudy breath under the black hoodie I was wearing. The damn thing smelled like him. Or maybe I did too, the consequence of letting that man in my life in the first place.Â
My name echoed in the empty streets a couple of times, followed by several dogs barking. I knew who was after me. The same four henchmen of his, led by his right hand while he was probably waiting in his car for them to fetch me and bring me back to him.Â
Instinctively, my hand covered the tattoo on my sternum, the same symbol he had inked on his forehead. I shouldnât have let him do it, I knew it even back then, but he had forced himself into my life and soul and by the time I realized he was wrapped around me like a snake, it was too late.
Almost six months after meeting him, I had finally managed to escape. At least thatâs what I thought, hidden in that alley, holding my breath and waiting for the search party to get further away from my spot. But this city was his, he had eyes everywhere. I needed to leave as far away as I could.Â
The sound of his dobermans and henchmen barking got fainter by the second and after a terrified look behind the building, I noticed them walking away from me, down the other side of the street. Finally allowing myself to breathe, I readjusted the hood over my head and ran in the opposite direction.Â
My lungs were burning from the cold air as my feet hit the pavement heavily, my survival instincts going haywire from being hunted like prey. I thought about the apartment I had to leave behind, all of my belongings collecting dust - my books, my record player, the yellowed teapot I couldnât part with. I couldnât go back. Ever. They were probably there already anyway.Â
I had managed to grab some cash from his vault before running away, planning on using it to buy myself a bus ticket to get the Hell away from this city. The station was only a couple of blocks away, within walking - or in my case, running - range. I only had to get there before someone recognized me.Â
When I was about to pass out from hyperventilating and running like a mad woman, the bus station appeared at the end of the street. I slowed down, trying to catch my breath, still jogging up to the lobby where a single cashier was reading a book, bored out of his mind.Â
His eyes widened when he eventually saw me, out of breath, definitely looking like I was on the run. I slapped a couple of bills on the counter.Â
âNext bus to leave town, please,â words struggled to get past my lips.Â
The cashier simply nodded, collected the money and quickly printed the ticket before handing it to me. I nodded back at him before heading outside, looking for the beat up Greyhound bus and glanced at its destination - Toronto. Perfect. I couldnât put enough miles between him and me. I only had one last thing to do to ensure my safety during the twenty minutes before the bus would leave.
I fished the burner phone from the hoodieâs pocket and dialed a number. My fingers were ice cold, squeezing the small device tightly, my entire body shaking from the cold and the fear.Â
âPolice department, whatâs your emergency?â The dispatcherâs voice said in my cold ear. I sniffled.
âI have information about whatâs going on at the Shrine,â I whispered into the phone, covering my mouth as I leaned against a wall. âThere will be a party, next Saturday but itâs a cover up. Thereâs a secret basement where they-â I choked on words.Â
âMaâam, can you give me your name? Are you in danger?â The policeman asked, my hand tightening around the phone.Â
âJust⌠get there next Saturday, theyâre all going to attend,â I breathed, looking around, the hairs at the back of my head rising suddenly.
One second too late, I saw someone point a tranquilizer gun at me from afar. I felt the needle in my neck before I even heard the gunshot. My feet moved on their own, running away as I ripped the small dose from my neck.Â
My vision blurred and my perception got messed up quickly, the drugs rapidly getting into my system, poisoning my blood and reducing my hopes to ashes. A minute later, I crashed on the ground, my head hitting the side of a bench.Â
Terror took over me as a tall, broad figure towered over me. I gathered the last bits of strength I had and crawled on the concrete, my body heavy and almost entirely limp.
âToji, please,â I begged the tall man as I recognized him, only to get a huffed laugh as a response.
He followed after me as the drugs slowly put me to a stop. The side of my head was bleeding, my palms were bloody, I could barely breathe, but I couldnât go back. In a last attempt to crawl, I reached forward and my hand found a soft, leathery bump - someoneâs shoe - before my body eventually gave up.
Motionless on the cold concrete, I was focused on my erratic breathing, trying not to pass out when someone gently rolled me over on my back with their foot. I blinked a couple of times, fighting oblivion when he stood by me, his pink hair slowly swaying in the cold breeze.Â
Hands in his pockets, tilting his tattooed face to the side as he looked down at me, I recognized the man I was running away from. He had found me. Despite all of my foolish attempts at running away, almost succeeding, he had found me again. I kept my eyes open for as long as I could, terrified of what heâd do to me once Iâd pass out.Â
Ever so slowly, he crouched over me and took my face in his hand, burying his fingers in my cheeks. The sight of the tattoo on his forehead sealed my fate and eventually, his eyes softened slightly, clashing with his permanent cruel and carnal smile.Â
âYou really thought you could leave me that easily?â He purred, his voice soft and warm compared to the cold I felt within. The rest of the search party mustâve gotten there since more voices had gathered around us, but his eyes never left mine. I tried to speak, only to find it impossible. âDonât worry, sweetheart. Iâm taking you back right where you belong,â he stood back up, allowing Toji to lift me from the ground in his arms like a rag doll.Â
The last thing I saw through my tears filled eyes was the triumphant smile of the pink haired man as he slipped the collar around my neck again before darkness claimed me entirely.

Part 1. These fucking rules
The clock read 10 am. You left your room to satisfy the hunger that was making your stomach cramp. You went to the refrigerator and opened it. There was nothing in it but eggs and milk.
Yesterday you spent the whole day at the university and came home late at night. You had lunch in the campus cafeteria and didn't eat anything else. So your hunger was intense. You remember reminding Jungkook, your best friend with whom you were roommates, several times that it was his turn to buy the groceries for the week. You even wrote him a list because you knew for sure that he wouldn't buy everything he needed, and it wasn't a good idea to eat chips and beer.
Obviously, Jungkook didn't do what he was supposed to. The result was an empty refrigerator. Jungkook must have had more important things to do than buy groceries. Your stomach made a high-pitched growl. You felt your anger grow in direct proportion to your hunger. You slammed the refrigerator door shut.
Your eyes fell on the couch. Clothes were scattered around and on the couch. You raised your eyebrows and walked toward the clothes. You were seething with anger, not only did this careless guy not do what he was supposed to, but he was also leaving a mess behind. You were going to talk to Jungkook about how he was breaking the rules you had made on the first day you lived together.
It was Jungkook's idea. You decided to move in together because the apartment you were living in was too expensive. You were a student on a scholarship and could barely make ends meet, and only a part-time job at a convenience store allowed you to pay your rent. But you had to quit that job because you started to fail in your studies. The university where you were studying was supposed to give you a good profession, and you wanted to help your parents, who lived in a small town near Seoul and made soy sauce. They put a lot of love into you and did everything they could to give you a decent profession and to make you feel good about yourself. That's why studying well was a big priority for you.
And then one hard evening, when Jungkook came to your place for a beer, you complained to him about how unfair life was. He suggested that you move in with him and pay only for food and utilities. At the time, you thought he was joking or had had too much beer, but it turned out he was very serious. That's how you started living together.
But as it turned out, living with Jungkook was quite a challenge. He didn't keep the house very clean and liked to bring girls over almost every night. At first, you put up with it, of course, feeling a little irritated by it. But when you were trying hard to study and staying up late at night, it was difficult to learn the material by listening to the moans in Jungkook's room. So you decided that in order not to interfere with each other's lives, you needed rules.
You suggested some rules to Jungkook, and he kindly agreed to them. But he almost never wanted to follow them, so you often had small arguments about them.
It happened this morning, too, when Jungkook didn't buy any groceries so you will have to go the convenience store near your house to buy some food. You were in a terrible mood. But you were even more angry when you found Jungkook's clothes and women's things scattered around. You stared at the door of his room as you realized that he had brought another girl over that night.
With your eyebrows raised, you went to the kitchen and fried an egg for yourself. You flatly refused to go to the store because you knew that if you did, you would definitely buy food for Jungkook. And you wanted to teach him a lesson.
You were sitting at the table eating an egg when Jungkook's bedroom door opened. A sleepy Jungkook came out of it. He didn't have a shirt on, just the shorts he often wore at home. His hair was sticking out in all directions and his lips were pouty. You felt make muddle inside. And you felt like this every time Jungkook was half-naked. Even though he was your best friend, you couldn't help but think that he was a man, and a pretty good-looking one at that. You quickly gave him a glare full of lightning and continued to click the phone.
Jungkook noticed you and purred in satisfaction and headed in your direction. He came up behind you and bent down to look at your phone.
"Good morning," you heard next to your ear. Jungkook's voice was low and deep because he had just woken up.
"Morning!" you said dryly and continued to read the group chat with your classmates. Jungkook immediately realized that you were in a bad mood. He looked at you for a few long seconds and decided to start a conversation with you again.
"Did you fry the eggs? Where's my portion?" - He asked. You continued to ignore your friend.
Jungkook was about to ask you why you weren't talking to him when his bedroom door opened. The girl with whom Jungkook spent the night came out. You and Jungkook looked at her. She had the typical appearance of the girls he usually brought home. Slender, not tall, and with long black hair. Of course her figure was perfect.
She was completely Jungkook's type. You were her absolute opposite. You thought that Jungkook would never like you. Every time you met another girl that your friend brought home, you compared yourself to them for some reason. You were tall, but certainly shorter than him, and you had dark blond hair. Your figure was beautiful, but you definitely weighed more than 60 kilograms.
Jungkook's this night passion was standing in only her underwear. She rubbed her eyes and when she noticed you and your friend looked at her, she was visibly embarrassed.
"Uh, good morning." - She said quietly.
"Good morning!" you mumbled. You felt uncomfortable. Irritation threatened to burst out of you. You suddenly wanted to leave. You stood up abruptly, almost hitting Jungkook who was hovering over you. You quickly put your leftover food in the sink and hurried to your bedroom.
When you got into your room, you slammed the door and fell onto your bed. The morning did not start well. You were angry at Jungkook for not following the rules you had set up with him. You had always been good at following them, but your friend didn't seem to care about them. You had to do something about it. You decided to talk to Jungkook and remind him that you two had made those damn rules and that if he didn't follow them, you would have to find another place to live. Of course you didn't want to move away from him. It was convenient and beneficial for you to live with Jungkook in a way. But the irony was that by saving money you were paying with your nerves.
It was about half an hour after you heard the door slam, which could mean that Jungkook's girlfriend had left. You needed to take a shower because you had go to the grocery store to buy food. So after waiting about 10 minutes, you took all the things you needed and left the room.
Your gaze quickly glanced around the living room and kitchen. Jungkook was nowhere to be found. The apartment was quite quiet. You thought that he had gone to sleep in his room or might have gone out. You felt irritated again. But maybe it was for the best that he was gone. You walked to the bathroom door and was about to open it when it opened and your eyes met big black eyes.
Jungkook's hair was damp, and he was shirtless and wearing shorts. You shivered. You felt the heat spreading through your body. You continued to stare at each other for no more than a second, but it felt like an eternity.
"Do you want to take a shower?" Asked Jungkook, still standing in the aisle. "I thought you were sleeping".
"Obviously, I want to take a shower!" You replied dryly, turning away from Jungkook. You didn't notice his eyebrows jump up.
"What's wrong Y/N? Why are you so angry this morning?" - Jungkook asked as he approached you.
"Are you seriously asking me why I'm angry?" - You turned to Jungkook, trying not to look at his beautiful body.
"I'm asking because I don't understand what's going on? Did I do something wrong?" - You stared at your friend in shock. How can he ask you if he did something wrong when he does it all the time?
"Just tell me, are you really stupid or are you pretending to be?" - You clutched the T-shirt in your hand. Jungkook laughed at your words. Does he think it's funny?
"I'm not a mind reader, baby. So you'd better come right out and say it." - Jungkook's calling you "baby" made you even more angry. Usually you liked this affectionate nickname, but not on this terrible morning.
"What am I supposed to say to you, ha-Jeon? I'm like a fucking parrot to you all the time, and you don't do anything I tell you!" You wanted to talk to Jungkook in a calmer manner, but since you were an emotional person, it was hard to contain the anger that had long been in you. Your heart was pounding and your ears were ringing. You didn't understand why you were angry, but the more often Jungkook broke the rules and your personal comfort, the angrier you became. You'd been studying a lot lately, and the exam was about to start. Your tension and fatigue were making themselves felt, and Jungkook's behavior wasn't helping your situation.
"Y/N calm down. Are you mad at me for not buying the groceries?" - You didn't answer thinking "Hallelujah you guessed it".
"I really wanted to do it, but Jimin called and I went to his place, and then he dragged me to the club." - You continued to drill Jungkook with a menacing stare and he felt more and more guilty.
"Of course, how can you say no to Jimin and not pick up another beauty to take her to bed!" - You was indignant.
"Oh come on, Y/N are you mad at me for bringing a girl again?" - Jungkook asked.
"No, genius." - You snapped. "I'm mad because you forgot about the fucking rules again."
"Rules?" - Jungkook sighed. "You're doing this again?"
"Again?" you repeated his words quietly. Jungkook didn't want to argue anymore and walked past you. The scent of Jungkook's shower gel that you loved so much filled your nostrils. You gave your friend a shocked look.
"Jungkook, we created those rules for a reason, so that we don't violate each other's boundaries." - You explained, standing behind your friend as he gathered his scattered belongings near the couch.
"We weren't too loud!" - Jungkook tried to make excuses, but he sounded annoyed.
"It's not about being loud or quiet. You brought a girl home again, even though we agreed that we wouldn't bring partners. You didn't buy the groceries, even though I reminded you three times yesterday to do so. You constantly leave things scattered around, and I only go and clean up after you." - You could not stand it.
"Then don't clean it up, I didn't ask you to!" - Jungkook snorted.
"Are you serious now, Jeon?" - You laughed with a bit of hysteria. "We've been living together for almost three months now and you haven't followed a single rule, even though you promised you would every time!"
"I tried." - Jungkook admitted. "But these rules are..." He paused to find the right word. "All I'm saying is that I want to do whatever I want in my house!" - Jungkook turned to you and you, catching the look in his big deer eyes, stared at him. For a few unsuccessful seconds, you tried to figure out how to react to his words, but all you felt was anger mixed with guilt. It was your idea to create these rules, but he agreed to them, why didn't he tell you something was wrong?
"But... I mean, yes, it's your house and you can do whatever you want, but we agreed together that it would be more convenient for us!" - You said in despair.
"So let's just forget these stupid rules." - Jungkook said. He dropped the things he was clean up. All you could hear was the sound of your own heart in your ears. You're going to have to find a new place to live. Jungkook is not comfortable living with you. You can't continue to study normally and live in a bachelor's house without food and with the prospect of seeing a new face every morning of the girl your friend brought over. You exhaled loudly and closed your eyes for a moment.
"Well..." - You stuttered. "If you're not comfortable living like this, I'll have to find another place to live." - Jungkook stiffened. His eyebrows reflexively drew together, showing his face in a state of deep misunderstanding of what you said.
"What do you mean?" - He said sharply. "Why would you want to find another home?" - You looked at Jungkook and saw him getting angry at the whole situation. Your heart was beating like crazy, and anger was in almost every cell of your body. But the thoughts running through your head made you feel guilty. You wanted to make life easier for both of you when you made up these rules, but it seems like Jungkook had a hard time following them. He was used to living a certain way of life, but when you moved in with him, all of his usual things became forbidden or restricted. Knowing his freedom-loving nature, you understood why he resisted. But he agreed, he had the opportunity to add his own rules or offer something of his own. He just agreed, and that's what annoyed you the most right now. He was deliberately breaking the rules even though he knew how you would react.
Jungkook walked over to you. He stopped right next to you. You were only one step away. You did not take your eyes off him and tried to look only into his eyes. The fact that Jungkook was not wearing a shirt did not make your condition any easier. You always felt uncomfortable when he was naked.
"Y/N, let's calm down. You don't have to look for another home. You can stay with me. Let's just live without any of these stupid rules. Just together. As friends." - Jungkook wanted to touch you, but you took a step back.
"How do you envision that, Jeon?" - You huffed. "We're going to live without food in the fridge, you're going to bring a new chick home every night and I'm going to greet her cheerfully every morning. We'll live in an apartment where things are scattered and sometimes we'll have to clean them up. Or maybe we'll have fun when I bring my boyfriend here and he fuck me so you can hear my moans. Or bring friends from the university and sit here until the morning drinking beer or soju. Make life chaotic and have fun." - You almost burst into tears. Jungkook stared at you in confusion and surprise.
The words about your moans echoed in his head. "She's bringing her boyfriend? Does she have a boyfriend?" - Jungkook thought.
"Listen, Jungkook. I can't live like this. I am sincerely grateful to you for taking me in. But we are not a contractual marriage couple. I don't want to follow you around and clean up the mess you make. If we live together, we have to respect each other's boundaries. That's why those added rules were invented. But if you're not comfortable with them because I want you to, then I really need to move out." - You finally finished your monologue and exhaled heavily. Jungkook was silent for a few more seconds and then laughed to your surprise. Quietly and almost mockingly. Your face was again distorted by anger.
"Oh my God, you just gave me a good one." - Jungkook chuckled. "You've been holding it all in for so long. You should have told me earlier." - You thought you were going to strangle him. This arrogant half-naked man who is supposed to be your best friend.
"You think this is funny? I..." - You wanted to finally tell Jungkook what you thought of him, but he suddenly grabbed you in a hug. Without the possibility for you to move at all. He pinned you down so that your arms were pinned at your sides. You struggled in his metal grip, but to no avail. The struggle didn't last long, just a couple of minutes, and you didn't have the strength for more. You calmed down just as Jungkook leaned against the crook of your neck. His face was completely lost in your hair. You stood there for a few moments until you felt the vibration of his voice on your neck.
"Are you calm?" - You could feel your friend's breath leaving a trail on your neck, passing through your hair. "You're like that fire, baby." - You wanted to start pulling away again, but Jungkook held you tight, almost preventing you from breathing properly. "I'm so sorry." - He said. "I'm an asshole for not thinking about you." - Jungkook looked up, straightening up, and saw you almost holding back tears. He was hurt that he had brought you to this state.
"Please don't cry because of me, I'll follow your rules. And this time for sure." - He smiled lightly. "Just please don't go anywhere." - The tear you'd been holding back for so long ran down your cheek. Jungkook immediately wiped it away, not wanting to see you cry.
"I'm sorry, I was wrong too. I should have talked to you calmly instead of getting angry and yelling at you. We should have talked about it normally." - And you finally burst into tears. Jungkook was embarrassed and held you close again.
"It's okay, baby. I deserved you to yell at me." - These words made you cry even more. "Hey, don't cry, it's okay. We've worked it out. Please don't do this, I feel like a fool for making you cry." - You wanted to calm down, but the emotions you had been holding in for so long finally broke free. You had to cry out all the anger that had been building up inside you.
Jungkook picked you up in his arms and walked over to the couch where things had been scattered until recently. He still held you and after that seat down with you on his knees. You were crying so much that you didn't realize where you were sitting. He comforted you by stroking your back.
It took some time for you to calm down. You were hardly crying anymore, just sobbing slightly. Jungkook looked down at your crying face.
"Your eyes are red now." - You met his big black eyes. And suddenly you realized that he was holding you in his arms. One of his arms was around your waist and the other one was around your legs. You felt pressed against his naked torso. Only your T-shirt separated your bodies. For a moment, you thought, "It was interesting to feel his body by my own." You blushed at the intimate thought and quickly forced it away.
"Hey, are you okay?" - Jungkook asked you, looking at your face again. You tried to laugh.
"I'm fine." - You said in a tortured voice. You felt Jungkook's body relax.
"I'm glad to hear that." - You continued to sit there, but you seemed to be the only one who felt awkward. Because Jungkook didn't want to let go of you. He kept stroking you, running his arm around your waist. You didn't say anything. You thought about what to say. Or should you just say that you had to go to the shower, because that's why you left the room. Jungkook leaned against your shoulder and said with a desperate voice.
"Let's not fight anymore over these damn rules." - Begged Jungkook. All you could manage was a soft "let's." You wanted to say it more firmly, but your state didn't allow it.
"Y/N," - Jungkook called to you gently. "Let's not fight at all. I hate it when we fight!" - He confessed. You hated fighting too. Before you moved in with Jungkook, you hardly ever fought at all.
"I want everything to be fine with us. But it doesn't depend on me alone. I'm ready to compromise and solve all the problems at once." - You said.
"Then we have a deal?" - Jungkook held out his hands to you, extending his little finger and thumb. You smiled and intertwined your little finger with his and touched his thumb to seal your truce.
For a moment you sat there in silence and hugged each other. You wanted to tell Jungkook to let you go. But he was in no hurry. He seemed to like you sitting on his lap, or he was pretty sure you weren't going anywhere.
"God, we fought like we were married," - Jungkook said, laughing. You tapped him on the shoulder. What is he talking about?
"Don't be silly, Jeon. We were arguing like friends who just moved in together." - You said. Jungkook's face turned sly.
"You're be like that: I can't live like this. I'm going to leave you. I can't clean up after you all the time." - Jungkook laughed. His soft laugh both irritated and attracted you. "Doesn't that sound like something a wife would say to her husband?"
"If the world goes to destroyed and I'm told that I have to become your wife to save it, the world will die." - You replied sarcastically. Jungkook stopped laughing for a moment and looked at you with a challenge.
"No way!" - He didn't believe it. "You would love to marry me. I know you dream about me every night." - You were flustered by his words and almost boiling at the same time.
"Maybe in your dreams, Jeon. I think you're the one who dreams about me every night, or imagines my face when you look at that girl you're fucking." - You said in a triumphant voice as you poked your finger into Jungkook's bare chest.
"How did you know about that?" - Jungkook asked in a serious tone. "I confessed to you when I was drunk?!" You gasped at what you heard. You wanted to say something. Jungkook's seriousness made you believe that your joke was true. But your guess was shattered by your best friend's mocking laugh.
"You should see your face now!" - He said, almost laughing. You hit him again, but this time harder, but it seemed like it didn't matter to Jungkook. You tried to get up from his lap, but your attempt was unsuccessful, as your friend's strong arms pinned you down.
"You're a real ass. Let me go, I need to take a shower."
"I haven't finished talking to you yet." - Jungkook said in a purring tone. You tried to pull away.
"For example, I'm done talking to you. So go put some clothes on and go get some groceries, we need to make lunch." - You said.
"Yes, I'll go to the store right now. I'll even make us lunch, but you have to answer some questions for me." - Jungkook agreed and offered a deal.
You thought for a second, studying his sly look as it wandered across your face. He's definitely going to ask you something personal. What was he up to?
"And dinner, too, if you want to hear the answers to your questions." - You've outplayed your best friend. You finally stopped wriggling and sat down with your arms crossed over your chest. Jungkook didn't mind your conditions and smiled smugly.
"Deal." - He cleared his throat. "You said something today while we were fighting. You haven't told me anything lately." - You glanced over at Jungkook, who was obviously searching for words to ask you something. You wanted to laugh because it's usually not a big deal for Jungkook to ask you anything. And this applies to any topic. "Did you get a boyfriend?" - He finally asked. His eyes ran over your face, carefully studying your expression. He wanted to know if it was true, if you had found someone to fuck you so that he could hear your moans.
You expected to hear any question, but not this one. What makes him think you have a boyfriend? "You said something today while we were fighting."Jungkook's words echoed in your head. A puzzle formed in your head and you laughed.
"Oh my God, is that all you remember from what I said?" - You laughed. Jungkook looked at you, waiting for an answer. Of course, that wasn't the only thing he remembered. He also remembers how you said you were going to moan. "I don't have a boyfriend. Look at me. It's not physically possible with my study schedule." - You glanced over at Jungkook. He seemed... pleased? "I said it as a possible scenario." - Jungkook couldn't hide the relief he felt. He sniffed his nose out of old habit and asked another question.
"Good. Then I have one more question, and then I'll let you go. Have you ever had sex?" - You instantly blushed. Who even asks that question so directly? It's so...so...You seem to have forgotten how to think and speak. How you were supposed to answer questions.
It so happens that you haven't had sex. You didn't even date anyone. Studying took up all your free time, both at school and at university. The guys who met you almost immediately disappeared when they saw what a nerd you were. But you didn't care about those idiots because you didn't have time to meet anyone. Your friends and your studies were enough for you. It's not that you didn't think about getting a boyfriend. You're almost 20, but don't you have to study and become successful first, and then look for someone to date and have sex with?
Living with a friend who was a man under the same roof and who brought girls almost every night, and hearing those fucking moans made you think for a moment that you too want to feel hugged, kissed and made to feel so good that you moaned loudly. But you stopped yourself every time. First of all, you don't have time, and secondly, who would want to date a girl who only allows books in her bed?
You looked away from Jungkook and stepped your hands into your lap. Should you answer him or not? Will he mock me? Let him try and make me feel bad for him.
You were brought out of your thoughts by your friend's voice.
"Baby? I asked you something!" - He insisted.
"Why do you want to know that?" - Turning and meeting Jungkook's gaze, you said.
"Just tell me. I want to know." - He said firmly. Your heart started to race again. The blood was pounding in your ears. Why should you be worried? He's just your best friend. You're always honest with him. You know a lot about him because Jungkook likes to brag about his intimate accomplishments.
"No." - You said. "I didn't!" - Something strange is happening between you two today. Jungkook is acting strange. Even though he seems to be the same Jungkook, why can't you stop thinking about how he's making you feel.
Jungkook smiled lightly. "I thought so." - That was all he said. You wanted to know why he asked you that, but he let go of you, urging you to get up. He stood up after you and looked down at you from the height of his height. You had to tilt your head a little to look at his face.
"What would you like for lunch and dinner?" - Jungkook asked before you could ask your question. You felt a little embarrassed and answered: "Chajamyeon and Samgyopsal."
"I'll be back soon, you go take a shower." - Your friend said, picking up his clothes that he had thrown around yesterday. A moment later, Jungkook's broad, naked back disappeared behind his bedroom door.
